johanan <2KI25 -23> And when all the captains of the armies, they

and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah

governor, there came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son
of

Nethaniah, and {Johanan} the son of Careah, and Seraiah t

he son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the son of a

Maachathite, they and their men.

johanan <1CH3 -15> And the sons of Josiah [were], the firstborn

{Johanan}, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth

Shallum.

johanan <1CH3 -24> And the sons of Elioenai [were], Hodaiah, and

Eliashib, and Pelaiah, and Akkub, and {Johanan}, and Dalaiah, and

Anani, seven.

johanan <1CH6 -9> And Ahimaaz begat Azariah, and Azariah begat

{Johanan},

johanan <1CH6 -10> And {Johanan} begat Azariah, (he [it is] that

executed the priest's office in the temple that Solomon built in

Jerusalem:)

johanan <1CH12 -4> And Ismaiah the Gibeonite, a mighty man among
the

thirty, and over the thirty; and Jeremiah, and Jahaziel, and

{Johanan}, and Josabad the Gederathite,

johanan <1CH12 -12> {Johanan} the eighth, Elzabad the ninth,

johanan <2CH28 -12> Then certain of the heads of the children of

Ephraim, Azariah the son of {Johanan}, Berechiah the son of

Meshillemoth, and Jehizkiah the son of Shallum, and Amasa the
son of

Hadlai, stood up against them that came from the war,

johanan And of the sons of Azgad; {Johanan} the son of

Hakkatan, and with him an hundred and ten males.

johanan Then Ezra rose up from before the house of
God,

and went into the chamber of {Johanan} the son of Eliashib: and

[when] he came thither, he did eat no bread, nor drink water:
for he

mourned because of the transgression of them that had b

een carried away.

johanan For [there were] many in Judah sworn unto him,

because he [was] the son in law of Shechaniah the son of Arah;
and

his son {Johanan} had taken the daughter of Meshullam the son of

Berechiah.

johanan The Levites in the days of Eliashib, Joiada,
and

{Johanan}, and Jaddua, [were] recorded chief of the fathers: also

the priests, to the reign of Darius the Persian.

johanan The sons of Levi, the chief of the fathers,

[were] written in the book of the chronicles, even until the
days of

{Johanan} the son of Eliashib.

johanan Then they came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even

Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and {Johanan} and Jonathan the
sons of

Kareah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth, and the sons of Ephai
the

Netophathite, and Jezaniah the son of a Maachathite, the

y and their men.

johanan Moreover {Johanan} the son of Kareah, and all

the captains of the forces that [were] in the fields, came to

Gedaliah to Mizpah,

johanan Then {Johanan} the son of Kareah spake to

Gedaliah in Mizpah secretly, saying, Let me go, I pray thee, and
I

will slay Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and no man shall know
[it]:

wherefore should he slay thee, that all the Jews which are

gathered unto thee should be scattered, and the remnant in Judah

perish? j ohanan But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam said

unto {Johanan} the son of Kareah, Thou shalt not do this thing:
for

thou speakest falsely of Ishmael. johanan But when

{Johanan} the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces
that

[were] with him, heard of all the evil that Ishmael the son of

Nethaniah had done, johanan Now it came to pass,
[that]

when all the people which [were] with Ishmael saw {Johanan} the
son

of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that [were] with
him,

then they were glad. johanan So all the people that

Ishmael had carried away captive from Mizpah cast about and

returned, and went unto {Johanan} the son of Kareah. johanan

-15> But Ishmael the son of Nethaniah escaped from {Johanan} with

eight men, and went to the Ammonites. johanan Then
took

{Johanan} the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces
that

[were] with him, all the remnant of the people whom he had
recovered

from Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, from Mizpah, after [that] he
had

slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, [even] mighty men of war, and
the

women, and the children, and the eunuchs, whom he had brought
again

from Gibeon: johanan Then all the captains of the
forces,

and {Johanan} the son of Kareah, and Jezaniah the son of
Hoshaiah,

and all the people from the least even unto the greatest, came
near,

johanan Then called he {Johanan} the son of Kareah,
and

all the captains of the forces which [were] with him, and all the

people from the least even to the greatest, johanan
Then

spake Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, and {Johanan} the son of
Kareah,

and all the proud men, saying unto Jeremiah, Thou speakest
falsely:

the LORD our God hath not sent thee to say, Go not into Egypt to

sojourn there: johanan So {Johanan} the son of Kareah,

and all the captains of the forces, and all the people, obeyed
not

the voice of the LORD, to dwell in the land of Judah. johanan

-5> But {Johanan} the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the

forces, took all the remnant of Judah, that were returned from
all

nations, whither they had been driven, to dwell in the land of

Judah;
