jehoiada <2SA8 -18> And Benaiah the son of {Jehoiada} [was over]
both the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and David's sons were
chief
rulers.
jehoiada <2SA20 -23> Now Joab [was] over all the host of Israel:

Benaiah the son of {Jehoiada} [was] over the Cherethites and over
the Pelethites:
jehoiada <2SA23 -20> And Benaiah the son of {Jehoiada}, the son
of a
valiant man, of Kabzeel, who had done many acts, he slew two
lionlike men of Moab: he went down also and slew a lion in the
midst
of a pit in time of snow:

{Jehoiada}, and had the name among three mighty men.

hath he not called.
jehoiada <1KI1 -32> And king David said, Call me Zadok the
priest,
and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of {Jehoiada}. And
they
came before the king.
jehoiada <1KI1 -36> And Benaiah the son of {Jehoiada} answered
the
king, and said, Amen: the LORD God of my lord the king say so
[too].
jehoiada <1KI1 -38> So Zadok the priest, and Nathan the prophet,
and
Benaiah the son of {Jehoiada}, and the Cherethites, and the
Pelethites, went down, and caused Solomon to ride upon king
David's
mule, and brought him to Gihon.
jehoiada <1KI1 -44> And the king hath sent with him Zadok the
priest, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of
{Jehoiada},
and the Cherethites, and the Pelethites, and they have caused
him to
ride upon the king's mule:
jehoiada <1KI2 -25> And king Solomon sent by the hand of Benaiah
the
son of {Jehoiada}; and he fell upon him that he died.
jehoiada <1KI2 -29> And it was told king Solomon that Joab was
fled
unto the tabernacle of the LORD; and, behold, [he is] by the
altar.
Then Solomon sent Benaiah the son of {Jehoiada}, saying, Go, fall
upon him.

fell upon him, and slew him: and he was buried in his own house
in
the wilderness.

{Jehoiada}
in his room over the host: and Zadok the priest did the king put
in
the room of Abiathar.
jehoiada <1KI2 -46> So the king commanded Benaiah the son of
{Jehoiada}; which went out, and fell upon him, that he died. And
the
kingdom was established in the hand of Solomon.

instructed him.
jehoiada <2KI12 -7> Then king Jehoash called for {Jehoiada} the
priest, and the [other] priests, and said unto them, Why repair
ye
not the breaches of the house? now therefore receive no [more]
money
of your acquaintance, but deliver it for the breaches o
f the house.
jehoiada <2KI12 -9> But {Jehoiada} the priest took a chest, and
bored a hole in the lid of it, and set it beside the altar, on
the
right side as one cometh into the house of the LORD: and the
priests
that kept the door put therein all the money [that was]
brought into the house of the LORD.

him

the seventh year {Jehoiada} strengthened himself, and took the
captains of hundreds, Azariah the son of Jeroham, and Ishmael the
son of Jehohanan, and Azariah the son of Obed, and Maaseiah the
son
of Adaiah, and Elishaphat the s on of Zichri, into covenant with
him. jehoiada <2CH23 -8> So the Levites and all Judah did
according
to all things that {Jehoiada} the priest had commanded, and took
every man his men that were to come in on the sabbath, with them
that were to go [out] on the sabbath: for Jehoiada the priest

him] the testimony, and made him king. And {Jehoiada} and his
sons
anointed him, and said, God save the king. jehoiada <2CH23 -14>
Then
{Jehoiada} the priest brought out the captains of hundreds that
were
set over the host, and said unto them, Have her forth of the
ranges:
and whoso followeth her, let him be slain with the sword. For the
priest said, Slay her not
in the house of the LORD.

and
between all the people, and between the king, that they should be
the LORD'S people.

offerings of the LORD, as [it is] written in the law of Mos

and said unto him, Why hast thou not required of the Levites to

as
did the work of the service of the house of the LORD, and hired
masons and carpenters to repair the house of the LORD, and also
such
as wrought iron and brass to mend the house of the LOR
D.

brought
the rest of the money before the king and {Jehoiada}, whereof
were
made vessels for the house of the LORD, [even] vessels to
minister,
and to offer [withal], and spoons, and vessels of gol
d and silver. And they offered burnt offerings in the house of
the
LORD continually all the days of Jehoiada.
jehoiada <2CH24 -14> And when they had finished [it], they
brought
the rest of the money before the king and Jehoiada, whereof were
made vessels for the house of the LORD, [even] vessels to
minister,
and to offer [withal], and spoons, and vessels of gold
and silver. And they offered burnt offerings in the house of the
LORD continually all the days of {Jehoiada}.
jehoiada <2CH24 -15> But {Jehoiada} waxed old, and was full of
days
when he died; an hundred and thirty years old [was he] when he
died.
jehoiada <2CH24 -17> Now after the death of {Jehoiada} came the
princes of Judah, and made obeisance to the king. Then the king
hearkened unto them.
jehoiada <2CH24 -20> And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah
the
son of {Jehoiada} the priest, which stood above the people, and
said
unto them, Thus saith God, Why transgress ye the commandments of
the
LORD, that ye cannot prosper? because ye have fors
aken the LORD, he hath also forsaken you.
jehoiada <2CH24 -22> Thus Joash the king remembered not the
kindness
which {Jehoiada} his father had done to him, but slew his son.
And
when he died, he said, The LORD look upon [it], and require [it].
jehoiada <2CH24 -25> And when they were departed from him, (for
they
left him in great diseases,) his own servants conspired against
him
for the blood of the sons of {Jehoiada} the priest, and slew him
on
his bed, and he died: and they buried him in the c
ity of David, but they buried him not in the sepulchres of the
kings.
jehoiada Moreover the old gate repaired {Jehoiada} the
son
of Paseah, and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah; they laid the
beams
thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and
the bars thereof.
jehoiada The LORD hath made thee priest in the stead
of
{Jehoiada} the priest, that ye should be officers in the house of
the LORD, for every man [that is] mad, and maketh himself a
prophet,
that thou shouldest put him in prison, and in the st
ocks.
