hearkened And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast

{hearkened} unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the
tree,

of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it:
cursed

[is] the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat [o

f] it all the days of thy life;

hearkened And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the
LORD

hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid;

to

the voice of Sarai.

hearkened And God {hearkened} unto Leah, and she

conceived, and bare Jacob the fifth son.

hearkened And God remembered Rachel, and God
{hearkened}

to her, and opened her womb.

hearkened And unto Hamor and unto Shechem his son

{hearkened} all that went out of the gate of his city; and every

male was circumcised, all that went out of the gate of his city.

hearkened And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph

day by day, that he {hearkened} not unto her, to lie by her,
[or] to

be with her.

but they {hearkened} not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and
for

cruel bondage.

hearkened And Moses spake before the LORD, saying,

Behold, the children of Israel have not {hearkened} unto me; how

then shall Pharaoh hear me, who [am] of uncircumcised lips?

hearkened And he hardened Pharaoh's heart, that he

{hearkened} not unto them; as the LORD had said.

hearkened But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite,
he

hardened his heart, and {hearkened} not unto them; as the LORD
had

said.

hearkened Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This
[is]

the finger of God: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he

{hearkened} not unto them; as the LORD had said.

hearkened And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh,
and

he {hearkened} not unto them; as the LORD had spoken unto Moses.

hearkened Notwithstanding they {hearkened} not unto

Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred

worms, and stank: and Moses was wroth with them.

hearkened So Moses {hearkened} to the voice of his

father in law, and did all that he had said.

hearkened Because all those men which have seen my

and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not
{hearkened} to

my voice;

hearkened And the LORD {hearkened} to the voice of

Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly
destroyed

them and their cities: and he called the name of the place
Hormah.

hearkened For I was afraid of the anger and hot

displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth against you to destroy

you. But the LORD {hearkened} unto me at that time also.

hearkened Likewise when the LORD sent you from

given

you; then ye rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your
God,

and ye believed him not, nor {hearkened} to his voice.

hearkened And I stayed in the mount, according to the

first time, forty days and forty nights; and the LORD {hearkened}

unto me at that time also, [and] the LORD would not destroy thee.

hearkened For these nations, which thou shalt
possess,

{hearkened} unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as
for

thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so [to do].

hearkened I have not eaten thereof in my mourning,

neither have I taken away [ought] thereof for [any] unclean
[use],

nor given [ought] thereof for the dead: [but] I have {hearkened}
to

the voice of the LORD my God, [and] have done according t

o all that thou hast commanded me.

hearkened And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the

spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the

children of Israel {hearkened} unto him, and did as the LORD

commanded Moses.

hearkened According as we {hearkened} unto Moses in
all

things, so will we hearken unto thee: only the LORD thy God be
with

thee, as he was with Moses.

hearkened And there was no day like that before it or

after it, that the LORD {hearkened} unto the voice of a man: for
the

LORD fought for Israel.

hearkened And the anger of the LORD was hot against

Israel; and he said, Because that this people hath transgressed
my

covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not
{hearkened}

unto my voice;

hearkened Howbeit the king of the children of Ammon

{hearkened} not unto the words of Jephthah which he sent him.

hearkened And God {hearkened} to the voice of Manoah;
and

the angel of God came again unto the woman as she sat in the
field:

but Manoah her husband [was] not with her.

hearkened <1SA2 -25> If one man sin against another, the judge
shall

judge him: but if a man sin against the LORD, who shall entreat
for

him? Notwithstanding they {hearkened} not unto the voice of their

father, because the LORD would slay them.

hearkened <1SA12 -1> And Samuel said unto all Israel, Behold, I
have

{hearkened} unto your voice in all that ye said unto me, and have

made a king over you.

hearkened <1SA19 -6> And Saul {hearkened} unto the voice of

Jonathan: and Saul sware, [As] the LORD liveth, he shall not be

slain.

hearkened <1SA25 -35> So David received of her hand [that] which
she

had brought him, and said unto her, Go up in peace to thine
house;

see, I have {hearkened} to thy voice, and have accepted thy
person.

hearkened <1SA28 -21> And the woman came unto Saul, and saw that
he

was sore troubled, and said unto him, Behold, thine handmaid hath

obeyed thy voice, and I have put my life in my hand, and have

{hearkened} unto thy words which thou spakest unto me.

hearkened <1SA28 -23> But he refused, and said, I will not eat.
But

his servants, together with the woman, compelled him; and he

{hearkened} unto their voice. So he arose from the earth, and sat

upon the bed.

hearkened <1KI12 -15> Wherefore the king {hearkened} not unto the

people; for the cause was from the LORD, that he might perform
his

saying, which the LORD spake by Ahijah the Shilonite unto
Jeroboam

the son of Nebat.

hearkened <1KI12 -16> So when all Israel saw that the king

{hearkened} not unto them, the people answered the king, saying,

What portion have we in David? neither [have we] inheritance in
the

son of Jesse: to your tents, O Israel: now see to thine own hou

se, David. So Israel departed unto their tents.

hearkened <1KI12 -24> Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up,
nor

fight against your brethren the children of Israel: return every
man

to his house; for this thing is from me. They {hearkened}
therefore

to the word of the LORD, and returned to depart, ac

cording to the word of the LORD.

hearkened <1KI15 -20> So Benhadad {hearkened} unto king Asa, and

sent the captains of the hosts which he had against the cities of

Israel, and smote Ijon, and Dan, and Abelbethmaachah, and all

Cinneroth, with all the land of Naphtali.

hearkened <1KI20 -25> And number thee an army, like the army that

thou hast lost, horse for horse, and chariot for chariot: and we

will fight against them in the plain, [and] surely we shall be

stronger than they. And he {hearkened} unto their voice, and

did so.

hearkened <2KI13 -4> And Jehoahaz besought the LORD, and the LORD

{hearkened} unto him: for he saw the oppression of Israel,
because

the king of Syria oppressed them.

hearkened <2KI16 -9> And the king of Assyria {hearkened} unto
him:

for the king of Assyria went up against Damascus, and took it,
and

carried [the people of] it captive to Kir, and slew Rezin.

hearkened <2KI20 -13> And Hezekiah {hearkened} unto them, and
showed

them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the
gold,

and the spices, and the precious ointment, and [all] the house of

his armour, and all that was found in his treasures

: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that

Hezekiah showed them not.

hearkened <2KI21 -9> But they {hearkened} not: and Manasseh
seduced

them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed

before the children of Israel.

hearkened <2KI22 -13> Go ye, inquire of the LORD for me, and for
the

people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book
that is

found: for great [is] the wrath of the LORD that is kindled
against

us, because our fathers have not {hearkened} unto

the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is

written concerning us.

hearkened <2CH10 -15> So the king {hearkened} not unto the
people:

for the cause was of God, that the LORD might perform his word,

which he spake by the hand of Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam
the

son of Nebat.

hearkened <2CH16 -4> And Benhadad {hearkened} unto king Asa, and

sent the captains of his armies against the cities of Israel; and

they smote Ijon, and Dan, and Abelmaim, and all the store cities
of

Naphtali.

hearkened <2CH24 -17> Now after the death of Jehoiada came the

princes of Judah, and made obeisance to the king. Then the king

{hearkened} unto them.

hearkened <2CH25 -16> And it came to pass, as he talked with him,

that [the king] said unto him, Art thou made of the king's
counsel?

forbear; why shouldest thou be smitten? Then the prophet forbare,

and said, I know that God hath determined to destroy th

ee, because thou hast done this, and hast not {hearkened} unto my

counsel.

hearkened <2CH30 -20> And the LORD {hearkened} to Hezekiah, and

healed the people.

hearkened <2CH35 -22> Nevertheless Josiah would not turn his face

from him, but disguised himself, that he might fight with him,
and

{hearkened} not unto the words of Necho from the mouth of God,
and

came to fight in the valley of Megiddo.

hearkened But they and our fathers dealt proudly, and

hardened their necks, and {hearkened} not to thy commandments,

hearkened And testifiedst against them, that thou

mightest bring them again unto thy law: yet they dealt proudly,
and

{hearkened} not unto thy commandments, but sinned against thy

judgments, (which if a man do, he shall live in them;) and withd

rew the shoulder, and hardened their neck, and would not hear.

hearkened Neither have our kings, our princes, our

priests, nor our fathers, kept thy law, nor {hearkened} unto thy

commandments and thy testimonies, wherewith thou didst testify

against them.

hearkened Now it came to pass, when they spake daily
unto

him, and he {hearkened} not unto them, that they told Haman, to
see

whether Mordecai's matters would stand: for he had told them
that he

[was] a Jew.

hearkened If I had called, and he had answered me;
[yet]

would I not believe that he had {hearkened} unto my voice.

hearkened Oh that my people had {hearkened} unto me,

[and] Israel had walked in my ways!

hearkened But murmured in their tents, [and]

{hearkened} not unto the voice of the LORD.

hearkened And he saw a chariot [with] a couple of

horsemen, a chariot of asses, [and] a chariot of camels; and he

{hearkened} diligently with much heed:

hearkened O that thou hadst {hearkened} to my

commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy

righteousness as the waves of the sea:

hearkened Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil
upon

this people, [even] the fruit of their thoughts, because they
have

not {hearkened} unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.

hearkened But they {hearkened} not, nor inclined their

ear, but walked in the counsels [and] in the imagination of their

evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

hearkened Yet they {hearkened} not unto me, nor
inclined

their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their

fathers.

hearkened I {hearkened} and heard, [but] they spake not

aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have
I

done? every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into
the

battle.

hearkened From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son
of

Amon king of Judah, even unto this day, that [is] the three and

twentieth year, the word of the LORD hath come unto me, and I
have

spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye have n

ot {hearkened}.

hearkened And the LORD hath sent unto you all his

servants the prophets, rising early and sending [them]; but ye
have

not {hearkened}, nor inclined your ear to hear.

hearkened Yet ye have not {hearkened} unto me, saith
the

LORD; that ye might provoke me to anger with the works of your
hands

to your own hurt.

hearkened To hearken to the words of my servants the

prophets, whom I sent unto you, both rising up early, and sending

[them], but ye have not {hearkened};

hearkened Because they have not {hearkened} to my
words,

saith the LORD, which I sent unto them by my servants the
prophets,

rising up early and sending [them]; but ye would not hear, saith
the

LORD.

hearkened And they have turned unto me the back, and
not

the face: though I taught them, rising up early and teaching
[them],

yet they have not {hearkened} to receive instruction.

hearkened At the end of seven years let ye go every
man

his brother an Hebrew, which hath been sold unto thee; and when
he

hath served thee six years, thou shalt let him go free from thee:

but your fathers {hearkened} not unto me, neither incl

ined their ear.

hearkened Therefore thus saith the LORD; Ye have not

{hearkened} unto me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his

brother, and every man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a

liberty for you, saith the LORD, to the sword, to the pestilence,

and to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the

kingdoms of the earth.

hearkened The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab,
that

he commanded his sons not to drink wine, are performed; for unto

this day they drink none, but obey their father's commandment:

notwithstanding I have spoken unto you, rising early and spe

aking; but ye {hearkened} not unto me.

hearkened I have sent also unto you all my servants
the

prophets, rising up early and sending [them], saying, Return ye
now

every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not
after

other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in th

e land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have

not inclined your ear, nor {hearkened} unto me.

hearkened Because the sons of Jonadab the son of
Rechab

have performed the commandment of their father, which he
commanded

them; but this people hath not {hearkened} unto me:

hearkened And I will punish him and his seed and his

servants for their iniquity; and I will bring upon them, and upon

the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and upon the men of Judah, all the

evil that I have pronounced against them; but they {hearken

ed} not.

hearkened Then said Jeremiah, [It is] false; I fall
not

away to the Chaldeans. But he {hearkened} not to him: so Irijah
took

Jeremiah, and brought him to the princes.

hearkened But they {hearkened} not, nor inclined their

ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense unto other

gods.

hearkened Not to many people of a strange speech and
of an

hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely,
had I

sent thee to them, they would have {hearkened} unto thee.

hearkened Neither have we {hearkened} unto thy servants

the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes,
and

our fathers, and to all the people of the land.

hearkened Then they that feared the LORD spake often
one

to another: and the LORD {hearkened}, and heard [it], and a book
of

remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD,

and that thought upon his name.

hearkened But after long abstinence Paul stood forth
in

the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have {hearkened}
unto

me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm
and

loss.
