rode upon a mule, and the mule went under the thick boughs of a

great oak, and his {head} caught hold of the oak, and he was
taken

up between the heaven and the earth; and the mule that [w

as] under him went away.

head <2SA20 -21> The matter [is] not so: but a man of mount
Ephraim,

Sheba the son of Bichri by name, hath lifted up his hand against
the

king, [even] against David: deliver him only, and I will depart
from

the city. And the woman said unto Joab, Behold,

his {head} shall be thrown to thee over the wall.

head <2SA20 -22> Then the woman went unto all the people in her

wisdom. And they cut off the {head} of Sheba the son of Bichri,
and

cast [it] out to Joab. And he blew a trumpet, and they retired
from

the city, every man to his tent. And Joab returned to J

erusalem unto the king.

head <2SA22 -44> Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings
of

my people, thou hast kept me [to be] {head} of the heathen: a
people

[which] I knew not shall serve me.

head <1KI2 -6> Do therefore according to thy wisdom, and let not
his

hoar {head} go down to the grave in peace.

head <1KI2 -9> Now therefore hold him not guiltless: for thou
[art]

a wise man, and knowest what thou oughtest to do unto him; but
his

hoar {head} bring thou down to the grave with blood.

head <1KI2 -32> And the LORD shall return his blood upon his own

{head}, who fell upon two men more righteous and better than he,
and

slew them with the sword, my father David not knowing [thereof,
to

wit], Abner the son of Ner, captain of the host of Isr

ael, and Amasa the son of Jether, captain of the host of Judah.

head <1KI2 -33> Their blood shall therefore return upon the
{head}

of Joab, and upon the head of his seed for ever: but upon David,
and

upon his seed, and upon his house, and upon his throne, shall
there

be peace for ever from the LORD.

head <1KI2 -33> Their blood shall therefore return upon the head
of

Joab, and upon the {head} of his seed for ever: but upon David,
and

upon his seed, and upon his house, and upon his throne, shall
there

be peace for ever from the LORD.

head <1KI2 -37> For it shall be, [that] on the day thou goest
out,

and passest over the brook Kidron, thou shalt know for certain
that

thou shalt surely die: thy blood shall be upon thine own {head}.

head <1KI2 -44> The king said moreover to Shimei, Thou knowest
all

the wickedness which thine heart is privy to, that thou didst to

David my father: therefore the LORD shall return thy wickedness
upon

thine own {head};

head <1KI8 -32> Then hear thou in heaven, and do, and judge thy

servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way upon his
{head};

and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his

righteousness.

head <1KI19 -6> And he looked, and, behold, [there was] a cake
baken

on the coals, and a cruse of water at his {head}. And he did eat
and

drink, and laid him down again.

head <2KI2 -3> And the sons of the prophets that [were] at Bethel

came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the
LORD

will take away thy master from thy {head} to day? And he said,
Yea,

I know [it]; hold ye your peace.

head <2KI2 -5> And the sons of the prophets that [were] at
Jericho

came to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD
will

take away thy master from thy {head} to day? And he answered,
Yea, I

know [it]; hold ye your peace.

head <2KI2 -23> And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he

was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of
the

city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald {head};
go

up, thou bald head.

head <2KI2 -23> And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he

was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of
the

city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head;
go

up, thou bald {head}.

head <2KI4 -19> And he said unto his father, My {head}, my head.
And

he said to a lad, Carry him to his mother.

head <2KI4 -19> And he said unto his father, My head, my {head}.
And

he said to a lad, Carry him to his mother.

head <2KI6 -5> But as one was felling a beam, the ax {head} fell

into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was

borrowed.

head <2KI6 -25> And there was a great famine in Samaria: and,

behold, they besieged it, until an ass's {head} was [sold] for

fourscore [pieces] of silver, and the fourth part of a cab of
dove's

dung for five [pieces] of silver.

head <2KI6 -31> Then he said, God do so and more also to me, if
the

{head} of Elisha the son of Shaphat shall stand on him this day.

head <2KI6 -32> But Elisha sat in his house, and the elders sat
with

him; and [the king] sent a man from before him: but ere the

messenger came to him, he said to the elders, See ye how this
son of

a murderer hath sent to take away mine {head}? look, when

the messenger cometh, shut the door, and hold him fast at the
door:

[is] not the sound of his master's feet behind him?

head <2KI9 -3> Then take the box of oil, and pour [it] on his

{head}, and say, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king
over

Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not.

head <2KI9 -6> And he arose, and went into the house; and he
poured

the oil on his {head}, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD
God of

Israel, I have anointed thee king over the people of the LORD,

[even] over Israel.

head <2KI9 -30> And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard
[of

it]; and she painted her face, and tired her {head}, and looked
out

at a window.

head <2KI19 -21> This [is] the word that the LORD hath spoken

concerning him; The virgin the daughter of Zion hath despised
thee,

[and] laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath
shaken

her {head} at thee.

head <2KI25 -27> And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth
year

of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth
month,

on the seven and twentieth [day] of the month, [that]
Evilmerodach

king of Babylon in the year that he began to reign

did lift up the {head} of Jehoiachin king of Judah out of prison;

head <1CH10 -9> And when they had stripped him, they took his

{head}, and his armour, and sent into the land of the Philistines

round about, to carry tidings unto their idols, and to the
people.

head <1CH10 -10> And they put his armour in the house of their
gods,

and fastened his {head} in the temple of Dagon.

head <1CH20 -2> And David took the crown of their king from off
his

{head}, and found it to weigh a talent of gold, and [there were]

precious stones in it; and it was set upon David's head: and he

brought also exceeding much spoil out of the city.

head <1CH20 -2> And David took the crown of their king from off
his

head, and found it to weigh a talent of gold, and [there were]

precious stones in it; and it was set upon David's {head}: and he

brought also exceeding much spoil out of the city.

head <1CH29 -11> Thine, O LORD, [is] the greatness, and the
power,

and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all [that
is]

in the heaven and in the earth [is thine]; thine [is] the
kingdom, O

LORD, and thou art exalted as {head} above all.

head <2CH6 -23> Then hear thou from heaven, and do, and judge thy

servants, by requiting the wicked, by recompensing his way upon
his

own {head}; and by justifying the righteous, by giving him
according

to his righteousness.

head <2CH20 -18> And Jehoshaphat bowed his {head} with [his]
face to

the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell

before the LORD, worshipping the LORD.

head And when I heard this thing, I rent my garment
and my

mantle, and plucked off the hair of my {head} and of my beard,
and

sat down astonied.

head And said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to
lift up

my face to thee, my God: for our iniquities are increased over
[our]

{head}, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens.

head Hear, O our God; for we are despised: and turn
their

reproach upon their own {head}, and give them for a prey in the
land

of captivity:

head And the king loved Esther above all the women,
and

she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the

virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her {head}, and made

her queen instead of Vashti.

head Let the royal apparel be brought which the king

[useth] to wear, and the horse that the king rideth upon, and the

crown royal which is set upon his {head}:

head And Mordecai came again to the king's gate. But

Haman hasted to his house mourning, and having his {head}
covered.

head But when [Esther] came before the king, he
commanded

by letters that his wicked device, which he devised against the

Jews, should return upon his own {head}, and that he and his sons

should be hanged on the gallows.

head Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved
his

{head}, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,

head If I be wicked, woe unto me; and [if] I be

righteous, [yet] will I not lift up my {head}. [I am] full of

confusion; therefore see thou mine affliction;

head I also could speak as ye [do]: if your soul were
in

my soul's stead, I could heap up words against you, and shake
mine

{head} at you.

head He hath stripped me of my glory, and taken the
crown

[from] my {head}.

head Though his excellency mount up to the heavens,
and

his {head} reach unto the clouds;

head When his candle shined upon my {head}, [and
when] by

his light I walked [through] darkness;

head Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons? or
his

{head} with fish spears?

head But thou, O LORD, [art] a shield for me; my glory,

and the lifter up of mine {head}.

head His mischief shall return upon his own {head},
and

his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.

head Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the

people; [and] thou hast made me the {head} of the heathen: a
people

[whom] I have not known shall serve me.

head For thou preventest him with the blessings of

goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his {head}.

head All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they
shoot

out the lip, they shake the {head}, [saying],

head Thou preparest a table before me in the presence
of

mine enemies: thou anointest my {head} with oil; my cup runneth

over.

head And now shall mine {head} be lifted up above mine

enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle

sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the

LORD.

head For mine iniquities are gone over mine {head}:
as an

heavy burden they are too heavy for me.

head For innumerable evils have compassed me about:
mine

iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look

up; they are more than the hairs of mine {head}: therefore my
heart

faileth me.

head Thou makest us a byword among the heathen, a

shaking of the {head} among the people.

head Gilead [is] mine, and Manasseh [is] mine; Ephraim

also [is] the strength of mine {head}; Judah [is] my lawgiver;

head But God shall wound the {head} of his enemies,

[and] the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his

trespasses.

head They that hate me without a cause are more than
the

hairs of mine {head}: they that would destroy me, [being] mine

enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored [that] which I
took

not away.

head For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they
that

hate thee have lifted up the {head}.

head Gilead [is] mine; Manasseh [is] mine; Ephraim
also

[is] the strength of mine {head}; Judah [is] my lawgiver;

head He shall drink of the brook in the way:
therefore

shall he lift up the {head}.

head The stone [which] the builders refused is
become

the {head} [stone] of the corner.

head It is] like the precious ointment upon the
{head},

that ran down upon the beard, [even] Aaron's beard: that went
down

to the skirts of his garments;

head O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation,
thou

hast covered my {head} in the day of battle.

head As for] the {head} of those that compass me
about,

let the mischief of their own lips cover them.

head Let the righteous smite me; [it shall be] a

kindness: and let him reprove me; [it shall be] an excellent oil,

[which] shall not break my {head}: for yet my prayer also [shall
be]

in their calamities.

head For they [shall be] an ornament of grace unto thy

{head}, and chains about thy neck.

head She shall give to thine {head} an ornament of
grace:

a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.

head Blessings [are] upon the {head} of the just: but

violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.

head He that withholdeth corn, the people shall curse

him: but blessing [shall be] upon the {head} of him that selleth

[it].

head The hoary {head} [is] a crown of glory, [if] it
be

found in the way of righteousness.

head The glory of young men [is] their strength: and
the

beauty of old men [is] the grey {head}.

head For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his
{head},

and the LORD shall reward thee.

head The wise man's eyes [are] in his {head}; but the

fool walketh in darkness: and I myself perceived also that one
event

happeneth to them all.

head Let thy garments be always white; and let thy
{head}

lack no ointment.

head His left hand [is] under my {head}, and his right

hand doth embrace me.

head I sleep, but my heart waketh: [it is] the voice
of my

beloved that knocketh, [saying], Open to me, my sister, my love,
my

dove, my undefiled: for my {head} is filled with dew, [and] my
locks

with the drops of the night.

head His {head} [is as] the most fine gold, his locks

[are] bushy, [and] black as a raven.

head Thine head upon thee [is] like Carmel, and the
hair

of thine {head} like purple; the king [is] held in the galleries.

head Thine {head} upon thee [is] like Carmel, and the
hair

of thine head like purple; the king [is] held in the galleries.

head His left hand [should be] under my {head}, and his

right hand should embrace me.

head Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt

more and more: the whole {head} is sick, and the whole heart
faint.

head From the sole of the foot even unto the {head}
[there

is] no soundness in it; [but] wounds, and bruises, and putrifying

sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither

mollified with ointment.

head Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the
crown

of the {head} of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will
discover

their secret parts.

head For the head of Syria [is] Damascus, and the
{head}

of Damascus [is] Rezin; and within threescore and five years
shall

Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people.

head For the {head} of Syria [is] Damascus, and the
head

of Damascus [is] Rezin; and within threescore and five years
shall

Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people.

head And the head of Ephraim [is] Samaria, and the
{head}

of Samaria [is] Remaliah's son. If ye will not believe, surely ye

shall not be established.

head And the {head} of Ephraim [is] Samaria, and the
head

of Samaria [is] Remaliah's son. If ye will not believe, surely ye

shall not be established.

head In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor

that is hired, [namely], by them beyond the river, by the king of

Assyria, the {head}, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also

consume the beard.

head Therefore the LORD will cut off from Israel
{head}

and tail, branch and rush, in one day.

head The ancient and honourable, he [is] the {head};
and

the prophet that teacheth lies, he [is] the tail.

head Neither shall there be [any] work for Egypt,
which

the {head} or tail, branch or rush, may do.

head Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of

Ephraim, whose glorious beauty [is] a fading flower, which [are]
on

the {head} of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with
wine!

head And the glorious beauty, which [is] on the
{head} of

the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, [and] as the hasty
fruit

before the summer; which [when] he that looketh upon it seeth,
while

it is yet in his hand he eateth it up.

head This [is] the word which the LORD hath spoken

concerning him; The virgin, the daughter of Zion, hath despised

thee, [and] laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath

shaken her {head} at thee.

head Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return,

and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy [shall be]
upon

their {head}: they shall obtain gladness and joy; [and] sorrow
and

mourning shall flee away.

head Thy sons have fainted, they lie at the {head} of

all the streets, as a wild bull in a net: they are full of the
fury

of the LORD, the rebuke of thy God.

head Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a

man to afflict his soul? [is it] to bow down his {head} as a

bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes [under him]? wilt thou

call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD?

head For he put on righteousness as a breastplate,
and

an helmet of salvation upon his {head}; and he put on the
garments

of vengeance [for] clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak.

head Also the children of Noph and Tahapanes have
broken

the crown of thy {head}.

head Yea, thou shalt go forth from him, and thine
hands

upon thine {head}: for the LORD hath rejected thy confidences,
and

thou shalt not prosper in them.

head Oh that my {head} were waters, and mine eyes a

fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain
of

the daughter of my people!

head To make their land desolate, [and] a perpetual

hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished, and
wag

his {head}.

head For thus saith the LORD unto the king's house of

Judah; Thou [art] Gilead unto me, [and] the {head} of Lebanon:
[yet]

surely I will make thee a wilderness, [and] cities [which] are
not

inhabited.

head Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in

fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon
the

{head} of the wicked.

head Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goeth forth
with

fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the

{head} of the wicked.

head For every {head} [shall be] bald, and every
beard

clipped: upon all the hands [shall be] cuttings, and upon the
loins

sackcloth.

head They that fled stood under the shadow of Heshbon

because of the force: but a fire shall come forth out of Heshbon,

and a flame from the midst of Sihon, and shall devour the corner
of

Moab, and the crown of the {head} of the tumultuous one

s.

head And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth
year

of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth
month,

in the five and twentieth [day] of the month, [that] Evilmerodach

king of Babylon in the [first] year of his reign lif

ted up the {head} of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him
forth

out of prison,

head All that pass by clap [their] hands at thee; they

hiss and wag their {head} at the daughter of Jerusalem, [saying,
Is]

this the city that [men] call The perfection of beauty, The joy
of

the whole earth?

head Waters flowed over mine {head}; [then] I said, I
am

cut off.

head The crown is fallen [from] our {head}: woe unto
us,

that we have sinned!

head And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife,
take

thee a barber's razor, and cause [it] to pass upon thine {head}
and

upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the

[hair].

head And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me
by

a lock of mine {head}; and the spirit lifted me up between the
earth

and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to
Jerusalem,

to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward t

he north; where [was] the seat of the image of jealousy, which

provoketh to jealousy.

head And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare,

neither will I have pity, [but] I will recompense their way upon

their {head}.

head Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that

was above the {head} of the cherubims there appeared over them
as it

were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a

throne.

head When they went, they went upon their four sides;

they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the {head}

looked they followed it; they turned not as they went.

head And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the

[women] that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon

the {head} of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the
souls of

my people, and will ye save the souls alive [that come] un

to you?

head And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings
in

thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine {head}.

head Thou hast built thy high place at every {head}
of

the way, and hast made thy beauty to be abhorred, and hast opened

thy feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied thy
whoredoms.

head In that thou buildest thine eminent place in the

{head} of every way, and makest thine high place in every street;

and hast not been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire;

head Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy

youth, but hast fretted me in all these [things]; behold,
therefore

I also will recompense thy way upon [thine] {head}, saith the
Lord

GOD: and thou shalt not commit this lewdness above all

thine abominations.

head Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; [As] I live,

surely mine oath that he hath despised, and my covenant that he
hath

broken, even it will I recompense upon his own {head}.

head Also, thou son of man, appoint thee two ways,
that

the sword of the king of Babylon may come: both twain shall come

forth out of one land: and choose thou a place, choose [it] at
the

{head} of the way to the city.

head For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of
the

way, at the {head} of the two ways, to use divination: he made
[his]

arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver.

head Forbear to cry, make no mourning for the dead,
bind

the tire of thine {head} upon thee, and put on thy shoes upon thy

feet, and cover not [thy] lips, and eat not the bread of men.

head Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon
caused

his army to serve a great service against Tyrus: every {head}
[was]

made bald, and every shoulder [was] peeled: yet had he no wages,
nor

his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had se

rved against it:

head Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet,
and

taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his
blood

shall be upon his own {head}.

head And according to the doors of the chambers that

[were] toward the south [was] a door in the {head} of the way,

[even] the way directly before the wall toward the east, as one

entereth into them.

head And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I

fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your
drink:

for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children

which [are] of your sort? then shall ye make [me] endange

r my {head} to the king.

head But there is a God in heaven that revealeth
secrets,

and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the

latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy {head} upon thy
bed,

are these;

head This image's {head} [was] of fine gold, his
breast

and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,

head And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the

beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given
into

thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou [art]
this

{head} of gold.

head And the princes, governors, and captains, and the

king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon

whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their
{head}

singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell

of fire had passed on them.

head I saw a dream which made me afraid, and the
thoughts

upon my bed and the visions of my {head} troubled me.

head Thus [were] the visions of mine {head} in my bed;
I

saw, and behold, a tree in the midst of the earth, and the height

thereof [was] great.

head I saw in the visions of my {head} upon my bed,
and,

behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven;

head In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon

Daniel had a dream and visions of his {head} upon his bed: then
he

wrote the dream, [and] told the sum of the matters.

head I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the

Ancient of days did sit, whose garment [was] white as snow, and
the

hair of his {head} like the pure wool: his throne [was like] the

fiery flame, [and] his wheels [as] burning fire.

head I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of

[my] body, and the visions of my {head} troubled me.

head And of the ten horns that [were] in his {head},
and

[of] the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even
[of]

that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great
things,

whose look [was] more stout than his fellows.

head Then shall the children of Judah and the
children of

Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one {head},
and

they shall come up out of the land: for great [shall be] the day
of

Jezreel.

head Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and

Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render me a

recompense? and if ye recompense me, swiftly [and] speedily will
I

return your recompense upon your own {head};

head Behold, I will raise them out of the place
whither ye

have sold them, and will return your recompense upon your own

{head}:

head That pant after the dust of the earth on the
{head}

of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and
his

father will go in unto the [same] maid, to profane my holy name:

head And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and
all

your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon
all

loins, and baldness upon every {head}; and I will make it as the

mourning of an only [son], and the end thereof as a bit

ter day.

head I saw the Lord standing upon the altar: and he
said,

Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut
them

in the {head}, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with

the sword: he that fleeth of them shall not flee awa

y, and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered.

head For the day of the LORD [is] near upon all the

heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy
reward

shall return upon thine own {head}.

head The waters compassed me about, [even] to the soul:

the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my

{head}.

head And the LORD God prepared a gourd, and made [it]
to

come up over Jonah, that it might be a shadow over his {head}, to

deliver him from his grief. So Jonah was exceeding glad of the

gourd.

head And it came to pass, when the sun did arise, that
God

prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat upon the {head}
of

saying, These [are] the horns which have scattered Judah, so

thou

head But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine {head},

and wash thy face;

head And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes,

numbered.

[at meat].

head And when they had platted a crown of thorns,
they

put [it] upon his {head}, and a reed in his right hand: and they

wiped

them] with the hairs of her {head}.

head My {head} with oil thou didst not anoint: but
this

woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.

head And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and
birds

of the air have] nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay
