halt <1KI18 -21> And Elijah came unto all the people, and said,
How long {halt} ye between two opinions? if the LORD [be] God,
follow him: but if Baal, [then] follow him. And the people
answered him not a word.

halt For I [am] ready to {halt}, and my sorrow [is]
continually before me.

halt Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee,
cut them off, and cast [them] from thee: it is better for thee
to enter into life {halt} or maimed, rather than having two
hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

halt And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is
better for thee to enter {halt} into life, than having two feet
to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

halt So that servant came, and showed his lord these
things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his
servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city,
and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the {halt}, and

the blind.

halt In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk,
of blind, {halt}, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.
