gladness Also in the day of your {gladness}, and in
your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall
blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the
sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for

a memorial before your God: I [am] the LORD your God.

gladness Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God
with joyfulness, and with {gladness} of heart, for the abundance
of all [things];

gladness <2SA6 -12> And it was told king David, saying, The LORD
hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that [pertaineth]
unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought
up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of Dav

id with {gladness}.

gladness <1CH16 -27> Glory and honour [are] in his presence;
strength and {gladness} [are] in his place.

gladness <1CH29 -22> And did eat and drink before the LORD on
that day with great {gladness}. And they made Solomon the son of
David king the second time, and anointed [him] unto the LORD [to
be] the chief governor, and Zadok [to be] priest.

gladness <2CH29 -30> Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes
commanded the Levites to sing praise unto the LORD with the
words of David, and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises
with {gladness}, and they bowed their heads and worshipped.

gladness <2CH30 -21> And the children of Israel that were
present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven
days with great {gladness}: and the Levites and the priests
praised the LORD day by day, [singing] with loud instruments
unto the LORD.

gladness <2CH30 -23> And the whole assembly took counsel to keep
other seven days: and they kept [other] seven days with
{gladness}.

gladness And all the congregation of them that were
come again out of the captivity made booths, and sat under the
booths: for since the days of Jeshua the son of Nun unto that
day had not the children of Israel done so. And there was very
grea

t {gladness}.

gladness And at the dedication of the wall of
Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to
bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with {gladness},
both with thanksgivings, and with singing, [with] cymbals,
psalteries,

and with harps.

gladness The Jews had light, and {gladness}, and joy,
and honour.

gladness And in every province, and in every city,
whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, the
Jews had joy and {gladness}, a feast and a good day. And many of
the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell

upon them.

gladness On the thirteenth day of the month Adar; and
on the fourteenth day of the same rested they, and made it a day
of feasting and {gladness}.

gladness But the Jews that [were] at Shushan
assembled together on the thirteenth [day] thereof, and on the
fourteenth thereof; and on the fifteenth [day] of the same they
rested, and made it a day of feasting and {gladness}.

gladness Therefore the Jews of the villages, that
dwelt in the unwalled towns, made the fourteenth day of the
month Adar [a day of] {gladness} and feasting, and a good day,
and of sending portions one to another.

gladness Thou hast put {gladness} in my heart, more
than in the time [that] their corn and their wine increased.

gladness Thou hast turned for me my mourning into
dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with
{gladness};

gladness Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest
wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the
oil of {gladness} above thy fellows.

gladness With {gladness} and rejoicing shall they be
brought: they shall enter into the king's palace.

gladness Make me to hear joy and {gladness}; [that]
the bones [which] thou hast broken may rejoice.

gladness Light is sown for the righteous, and
{gladness} for the upright in heart.

gladness Serve the LORD with {gladness}: come before
his presence with singing.

gladness And he brought forth his people with joy,
[and] his chosen with {gladness}:

gladness That I may see the good of thy chosen, that
I may rejoice in the {gladness} of thy nation, that I may glory
with thine inheritance.

gladness The hope of the righteous [shall be]
{gladness}: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.

gladness Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold
king Solomon with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in
the day of his espousals, and in the day of the {gladness} of
his heart.

gladness And {gladness} is taken away, and joy out
of the plentiful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no
singing, neither shall there be shouting: the treaders shall
tread out no wine in [their] presses; I have made [their
vintage] sh

outing to cease.

gladness And behold joy and {gladness}, slaying oxen,
and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat
and drink; for to morrow we shall die.

gladness Ye shall have a song, as in the night
[when] a holy solemnity is kept; and {gladness} of heart, as
when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the LORD,
to the mighty One of Israel.

gladness And the ransomed of the LORD shall return,
and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads:
they shall obtain joy and {gladness}, and sorrow and sighing
shall flee away.

gladness For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will
comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness
like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and
{gladness} shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice
of mel

ody.

gladness Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall
return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy
[shall be] upon their head: they shall obtain {gladness} and joy;
[and] sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

gladness Then will I cause to cease from the cities
of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth,
and the voice of {gladness}, the voice of the bridegroom, and
the voice of the bride: for the land shall be desolate.

gladness For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel; Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your
eyes, and in your days, the voice of mirth, and the voice of
{gladness}, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bri

de.

gladness Moreover I will take from them the voice of
mirth, and the voice of {gladness}, the voice of the bridegroom,
and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the
light of the candle.

gladness For thus saith the LORD; Sing with
{gladness} for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations:
publish ye, praise ye, and say, O LORD, save thy people, the
remnant of Israel.

gladness The voice of joy, and the voice of
{gladness}, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the
bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of
hosts: for the LORD [is] good; for his mercy [endureth] for ever:
[and] of th

em that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of
the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land,
as at the first, saith the LORD.

gladness And joy and {gladness} is taken from the
plentiful field, and from the land of Moab; and I have caused
wine to fail from the winepresses: none shall tread with
shouting; [their] shouting [shall be] no shouting.

gladness Is not the meat cut off before our eyes,
[yea], joy and {gladness} from the house of our God?

gladness Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of
the fourth [month], and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of
the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of
Judah joy and {gladness}, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the

truth and peace.

gladness And these are they likewise which are sown
on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately
receive it with {gladness};

gladness And thou shalt have joy and {gladness}; and
many shall rejoice at his birth.

gladness And they, continuing daily with one accord
in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat
their meat with {gladness} and singleness of heart,

gladness And when she knew Peter's voice, she opened
not the gate for {gladness}, but ran in, and told how Peter
stood before the gate.

gladness Nevertheless he left not himself without
witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and
fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and {gladness}.

gladness Receive him therefore in the Lord with all
{gladness}; and hold such in reputation:

gladness Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated
iniquity; therefore God, even] thy God, hath anointed thee with
the oil of {gladness} above thy fellows.
