elijah <1KI17 -1> And {Elijah} the Tishbite, [who was] of the

inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, [As] the LORD God of
Israel

liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain
these

years, but according to my word.

elijah <1KI17 -13> And {Elijah} said unto her, Fear not; go
[and] do

as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and

bring [it] unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.

elijah <1KI17 -15> And she went and did according to the saying
of

{Elijah}: and she, and he, and her house, did eat [many] days.

elijah <1KI17 -16> And] the barrel of meal wasted not, neither
did

the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which
he

spake by {Elijah}.

elijah <1KI17 -18> And she said unto {Elijah}, What have I to do

with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my
sin

to remembrance, and to slay my son?

elijah <1KI17 -22> And the LORD heard the voice of {Elijah}; and
the

soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.

elijah <1KI17 -23> And {Elijah} took the child, and brought him
down

out of the chamber into the house, and delivered him unto his

mother: and Elijah said, See, thy son liveth.

elijah <1KI17 -23> And Elijah took the child, and brought him
down

out of the chamber into the house, and delivered him unto his

mother: and {Elijah} said, See, thy son liveth.

elijah <1KI17 -24> And the woman said to {Elijah}, Now by this I

know that thou [art] a man of God, [and] that the word of the
LORD

in thy mouth [is] truth.

elijah <1KI18 -1> And it came to pass [after] many days, that the

word of the LORD came to {Elijah} in the third year, saying, Go,

show thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth.

elijah <1KI18 -2> And {Elijah} went to show himself unto Ahab.
And

[there was] a sore famine in Samaria.

elijah <1KI18 -7> And as Obadiah was in the way, behold, {Elijah}

met him: and he knew him, and fell on his face, and said, [Art]
thou

that my lord Elijah?

elijah <1KI18 -7> And as Obadiah was in the way, behold, Elijah
met

him: and he knew him, and fell on his face, and said, [Art] thou

that my lord {Elijah}?

elijah <1KI18 -8> And he answered him, I [am]: go, tell thy lord,

Behold, {Elijah} [is here].

elijah <1KI18 -11> And now thou sayest, Go, tell thy lord,
Behold,

{Elijah} [is here].

elijah <1KI18 -14> And now thou sayest, Go, tell thy lord,
Behold,

{Elijah} [is here]: and he shall slay me.

elijah <1KI18 -15> And {Elijah} said, [As] the LORD of hosts
liveth,

before whom I stand, I will surely show myself unto him to day.

elijah <1KI18 -16> So Obadiah went to meet Ahab, and told him:
and

Ahab went to meet {Elijah}.

elijah <1KI18 -17> And it came to pass, when Ahab saw {Elijah},
that

Ahab said unto him, [Art] thou he that troubleth Israel?

elijah <1KI18 -21> And {Elijah} came unto all the people, and
said,

How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD [be] God,
follow

him: but if Baal, [then] follow him. And the people answered him
not

a word.

elijah <1KI18 -22> Then said {Elijah} unto the people, I, [even]
I

only, remain a prophet of the LORD; but Baal's prophets [are]
four

hundred and fifty men.

elijah <1KI18 -25> And {Elijah} said unto the prophets of Baal,

Choose you one bullock for yourselves, and dress [it] first; for
ye

[are] many; and call on the name of your gods, but put no fire

[under].

elijah <1KI18 -27> And it came to pass at noon, that {Elijah}
mocked

them, and said, Cry aloud: for he [is] a god; either he is
talking,

or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, [or] peradventure he

sleepeth, and must be awaked.

elijah <1KI18 -30> And {Elijah} said unto all the people, Come
near

unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired
the

altar of the LORD [that was] broken down.

elijah <1KI18 -31> And {Elijah} took twelve stones, according to
the

number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of
the

LORD came, saying, Israel shall be thy name:

elijah <1KI18 -36> And it came to pass at [the time of] the
offering

of the [evening] sacrifice, that {Elijah} the prophet came near,
and

said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known

this day that thou [art] God in Israel, and [that] I

[am] thy servant, and [that] I have done all these things at thy

word. e lijah <1KI18 -40> And {Elijah} said unto them, Take the

prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them:

and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them

there. elijah <1KI18 -40> And Elijah said unto them, Take the

prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them:

and {Elijah} brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them

there. elijah <1KI18 -41> And {Elijah} said unto Ahab, Get thee
up,

eat and drink; for [there is] a sound of abundance of rain.
elijah

<1KI18 -42> So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And {Elijah}
went

up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth,

and put his face between his knees, elijah <1KI18 -46> And the
hand

of the LORD was on {Elijah}; and he girded up his loins, and ran

before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel. elijah <1KI19 -1> And
Ahab

told Jezebel all that {Elijah} had done, and withal how he had
slain

all the prophets with the sword. elijah <1KI19 -2> Then Jezebel
sent

a messenger unto {Elijah}, saying, So let the gods do [to me],
and

more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by
to

morrow about this time. elijah <1KI19 -9> And he came thither
unto a

cave, and lodged there; and, behold, the word of the LORD [came]
to

him, and he said unto him, What doest thou here, {Elijah}? elijah

<1KI19 -13> And it was [so], when {Elijah} heard [it] that he

wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the

entering in of the cave. And, behold, [there came] a voice unto
him,

and said, What doest thou here, Elijah? elijah <1KI19 -13> And it

was [so], when Elijah heard [it] that he wrapped his face in his

mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave.
And,

behold, [there came] a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou

here, {Elijah}? elijah <1KI19 -19> So he departed thence, and
found

Elisha the son of Shaphat, who [was] plowing [with] twelve yoke
[of

oxen] before him, and he with the twelfth: and {Elijah} passed by

him, and cast his mantle upon him. elijah <1KI19 -20> And he left

the oxen, and ran after {Elijah}, and said, Let me, I pray thee,

kiss my father and my mother, and [then] I will follow thee. And
he

said unto him, Go back again: for what have I done to thee?
elijah

<1KI19 -21> And he returned back from him, and took a yoke of
oxen,

and slew them, and boiled their flesh with the instruments of the

oxen, and gave unto the people, and they did eat. Then he arose,
and

went after {Elijah}, and ministered unto him.

elijah <1KI21 -17> And the word of the LORD came to {Elijah} the
Tishbite, saying,

elijah <1KI21 -20> And Ahab said to {Elijah}, hast thou found me,
O mine enemy? And he answered, I have found [thee]; because
thou hast sold thyself to work evil in the sight of the LORD.

elijah <1KI21 -28> And the word of the LORD came to {Elijah} the
Tishbite, saying,

elijah <2KI1 -3> But the angel of the LORD said to {Elijah} the
Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of
Samaria, and say unto them, [Is it] not because [there is] not a
God in Israel, [that] ye go to inquire of Baalzebub the god of Ek

ron?

elijah <2KI1 -4> Now therefore thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt
not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt
surely die. And {Elijah} departed.

elijah <2KI1 -8> And they answered him, [He was] an hairy man,
and girt with a girdle of leather about his loins. And he said,
It [is] {Elijah} the Tishbite.

elijah <2KI1 -10> And {Elijah} answered and said to the captain
of fifty, If I [be] a man of God, then let fire come down from
heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire
from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.

elijah <2KI1 -12> And {Elijah} answered and said unto them, If I
[be] a man of God, let fire come down from heaven, and consume
thee and thy fifty. And the fire of God came down from heaven,
and consumed him and his fifty.

elijah <2KI1 -13> And he sent again a captain of the third fifty
with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came
and fell on his knees before {Elijah}, and besought him, and
said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the l

ife of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight.

elijah <2KI1 -15> And the angel of the LORD said unto {Elijah},
Go down with him: be not afraid of him. And he arose, and went
down with him unto the king.

elijah <2KI1 -17> So he died according to the word of the LORD
which {Elijah} had spoken. And Jehoram reigned in his stead in
the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah;
because he had no son.

elijah <2KI2 -1> And it came to pass, when the LORD would take
up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that {Elijah} went with
Elisha from Gilgal.

elijah <2KI2 -1> And it came to pass, when the LORD would take
up {Elijah} into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with
Elisha from Gilgal.

elijah <2KI2 -2> And {Elijah} said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I
pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Bethel. And Elisha said
[unto him, As] the LORD liveth, and [as] thy soul liveth, I will
not leave thee. So they went down to Bethel.

elijah <2KI2 -4> And {Elijah} said unto him, Elisha, tarry here,
I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Jericho. And he said,
[As] the LORD liveth, and [as] thy soul liveth, I will not leave
thee. So they came to Jericho.

elijah <2KI2 -6> And {Elijah} said unto him, Tarry, I pray thee,
here; for the LORD hath sent me to Jordan. And he said, [As] the
LORD liveth, and [as] thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee.
And they two went on.

elijah <2KI2 -8> And {Elijah} took his mantle, and wrapped [it]
together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and
thither, so that they two went over on dry ground.

elijah <2KI2 -9> And it came to pass, when they were gone over,
that {Elijah} said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee,
before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee,
let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.

elijah <2KI2 -11> And it came to pass, as they still went on,
and talked, that, behold, [there appeared] a chariot of fire,
and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and {Elijah}
went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

elijah <2KI2 -13> He took up also the mantle of {Elijah} that
fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan;

elijah <2KI2 -14> And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell
from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where [is] the LORD
God of {Elijah}? and when he also had smitten the waters, they
parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.

elijah <2KI2 -14> And he took the mantle of {Elijah} that fell
from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where [is] the LORD
God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they
parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.

elijah <2KI2 -15> And when the sons of the prophets which [were]
to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of {Elijah}
doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed
themselves to the ground before him.

elijah <2KI3 -11> But Jehoshaphat said, [Is there] not here a
prophet of the LORD, that we may inquire of the LORD by him? And
one of the king of Israel's servants answered and said, Here
[is] Elisha the son of Shaphat, which poured water on the hands
of

{Elijah}.

elijah <2KI9 -36> Wherefore they came again, and told him. And
he said, This [is] the word of the LORD, which he spake by his
servant {Elijah} the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel
shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel:

elijah <2KI10 -10> Know now that there shall fall unto the earth
nothing of the word of the LORD, which the LORD spake concerning
the house of Ahab: for the LORD hath done [that] which he spake
by his servant {Elijah}.

elijah <2KI10 -17> And when he came to Samaria, he slew all that
remained unto Ahab in Samaria, till he had destroyed him,
according to the saying of the LORD, which he spake to {Elijah}.

elijah <2CH21 -12> And there came a writing to him from {Elijah}
the prophet, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of David thy father,
Because thou hast not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat thy
father, nor in the ways of Asa king of Judah,

elijah And of the sons of Harim; Maaseiah, and
{Elijah}, and Shemaiah, and Jehiel, and Uzziah.

elijah Behold, I will send you {Elijah} the prophet
before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
