bridle <2KI19 -28> Because thy rage against me and thy tumult is
come up into mine ears, therefore I will put my hook in thy nose,
and my {bridle} in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the
way by which thou camest.
bridle Because he hath loosed my cord, and afflicted
me, they have also let loose the {bridle} before me.
bridle Who can discover the face of his garment?
[or] who can come [to him] with his double {bridle}?
bridle Be ye not as the horse, [or] as the mule,
[which] have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with
bit and {bridle}, lest they come near unto thee.
bridle To the chief Musician, [even] to Jeduthun, A
Psalm of David. I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin
not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a {bridle}, while
the wicked is before me.
bridle A whip for the horse, a {bridle} for the ass,
and a rod for the fool's back.
bridle And his breath, as an overflowing stream,
shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with
the sieve of vanity: and [there shall be] a {bridle} in the jaws
of the people, causing [them] to err.
