back <1SA15 -11> It repenteth me that I have set up Saul [to be]

unto the LORD all night.

back <1SA25 -34> For in very deed, [as] the LORD God of Israel

hadst hasted and come to meet me, surely there had not been left
unto Nabal by the morning light any that pisseth against the w

all.

not return to me.

[be] with thee.

back <2SA15 -25> And the king said unto Zadok, Carry {back} the

back <2SA19 -37> Let thy servant, I pray thee, turn {back} again,

seem good unto thee.

back <2SA19 -43> And the men of Israel answered the men of Judah,
and said, We have ten parts in the king, and we have also more

the words of the men of Judah were fiercer than the words of
the men of Israel.

back <1KI13 -18> He said unto him, I [am] a prophet also as thou
[art]; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD,

back <1KI13 -19> So he went {back} with him, and did eat bread
in his house, and drank water.

back <1KI13 -20> And it came to pass, as they sat at the table,
that the word of the LORD came unto the prophet that brought him
{back}:

back <1KI13 -22> But camest {back}, and hast eaten bread and
drunk water in the place, of the which [the LORD] did say to
thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy carcase shall not
come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers.

and after he had drunk, that he saddled for him the ass, [to
wit], for the prophet whom he had brought {back}.

back <1KI13 -26> And when the prophet that brought him {back}
from the way heard [thereof], he said, It [is] the man of God,
who was disobedient unto the word of the LORD: therefore the
LORD hath delivered him unto the lion, which hath torn him, and
slain

him, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake unto him.

back <1KI13 -29> And the prophet took up the carcase of the man
of God, and laid it upon the ass, and brought it {back}: and the
old prophet came to the city, to mourn and to bury him.

back <1KI14 -9> But hast done evil above all that were before
thee: for thou hast gone and made thee other gods, and molten
images, to provoke me to anger, and hast cast me behind thy
{back}:

back <1KI14 -28> And it was [so], when the king went into the
house of the LORD, that the guard bare them, and brought them
{back} into the guard chamber.

back <1KI18 -37> Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may

their heart {back} again.

back <1KI19 -20> And he left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and
said, Let me, I pray thee, kiss my father and my mother, and
[then] I will follow thee. And he said unto him, Go {back} again:
for what have I done to thee?

back <1KI19 -21> And he returned {back} from him, and took a
yoke of oxen, and slew them, and boiled their flesh with the
instruments of the oxen, and gave unto the people, and they did
eat. Then he arose, and went after Elijah, and ministered unto
him.

back <1KI22 -26> And the king of Israel said, Take Micaiah, and
carry him {back} unto Amon the governor of the city, and to

chariots perceived that it [was] not the king of Israel, that
they turned {back} from pursuing him.

back <2KI1 -5> And when the messengers turned back unto him, he
said unto them, Why are ye now turned {back}?

back <2KI1 -5> And when the messengers turned {back} unto him,
he said unto them, Why are ye now turned back?

them.

back <2KI8 -29> And king Joram went {back} to be healed in
Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him at Ramah,
when he fought against Hazael king of Syria. And Ahaziah the son
of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Joram the son of Ahab
in

Jezreel, because he was sick.

back <2KI15 -20> And Menahem exacted the money of Israel, [even]
of all the mighty men of wealth, of each man fifty shekels of
silver, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria
turned {back}, and stayed not there in the land.

back <2KI19 -28> Because thy rage against me and thy tumult is
come up into mine ears, therefore I will put my hook in thy nose,
and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee {back} by the
way by which thou camest.

back <2KI20 -9> And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of
the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he hath spoken:
shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go {back} ten
degrees?

back <1CH21 -20> And Ornan turned {back}, and saw the angel; and
his four sons with him hid themselves. Now Ornan was threshing
wheat.

back <2CH13 -14> And when Judah looked {back}, behold, the
battle [was] before and behind: and they cried unto the LORD,
and the priests sounded with the trumpets.

back <2CH18 -25> Then the king of Israel said, Take ye Micaiah,
and carry him {back} to Amon the governor of the city, and to
Joash the king's son;

back <2CH18 -32> For it came to pass, that, when the captains of
the chariots perceived that it was not the king of Israel, they
turned {back} again from pursuing him.

out again through the people from Beersheba to mount Ephraim,
and brought them {back} unto the LORD God of their fathers.

back <2CH25 -13> But the soldiers of the army which Amaziah sent
{back}, that they should not go with him to battle, fell upon
the cities of Judah, from Samaria even unto Bethhoron, and smote
three thousand of them, and took much spoil.

back <2CH34 -16> And Shaphan carried the book to the king, and
brought the king word {back} again, saying, All that was
committed to thy servants, they do [it].

back Then went I up in the night by the brook, and
viewed the wall, and turned {back}, and entered by the gate of
the valley, and [so] returned.

back Neither have I gone {back} from the commandment
of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my
necessary [food].

back He holdeth {back} the face of his throne, [and]
spreadeth his cloud upon it.

back He keepeth {back} his soul from the pit, and
his life from perishing by the sword.

back To bring {back} his soul from the pit, to be
enlightened with the light of the living.

back Because they turned {back} from him, and would
not consider any of his ways:

back He mocketh at fear, and is not affrighted;
neither turneth he {back} from the sword.

back When mine enemies are turned {back}, they shall
fall and perish at thy presence.

back Oh that the salvation of Israel [were come] out
of Zion! when the LORD bringeth {back} the captivity of his
people, Jacob shall rejoice, [and] Israel shall be glad.

back Keep {back} thy servant also from presumptuous
[sins]; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be
upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

back Therefore shalt thou make them turn their
{back}, [when] thou shalt make ready [thine arrows] upon thy
strings against the face of them.

back Let them be confounded and put to shame that
seek after my soul: let them be turned {back} and brought to
confusion that devise my hurt.

back Thou makest us to turn {back} from the enemy:
and they which hate us spoil for themselves.

back Our heart is not turned {back}, neither have
our steps declined from thy way;

back Every one of them is gone {back}: they are
altogether become filthy; [there is] none that doeth good, no,
not one.

back Oh that the salvation of Israel [were come] out
of Zion! When God bringeth {back} the captivity of his people,
Jacob shall rejoice, [and] Israel shall be glad.

back When I cry [unto thee], then shall mine enemies
turn {back}: this I know; for God [is] for me.

back Let them be turned {back} for a reward of their
shame that say, Aha, aha.

back The children of Ephraim, [being] armed, [and]
carrying bows, turned {back} in the day of battle.

back Yea, they turned {back} and tempted God, and
limited the Holy One of Israel.

back But turned {back}, and dealt unfaithfully like
their fathers: they were turned aside like a deceitful bow.

back So will not we go {back} from thee: quicken us,
and we will call upon thy name.

back To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of
Korah. LORD, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast
brought {back} the captivity of Jacob.

back The sea saw [it], and fled: Jordan was driven
{back}.

back What [ailed] thee, O thou sea, that thou
fleddest? thou Jordan, [that] thou wast driven {back}?

back The plowers plowed upon my {back}: they made
long their furrows.

back Let them all be confounded and turned {back}
that hate Zion.

back In the lips of him that hath understanding
wisdom is found: but a rod [is] for the {back} of him that is
void of understanding.

back Judgments are prepared for scorners, and
stripes for the {back} of fools.

back A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and
a rod for the fool's {back}.

back For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who
shall disannul [it]? and his hand [is] stretched out, and who
shall turn it {back}?

back Yet he also [is] wise, and will bring evil, and
will not call {back} his words: but will arise against the house
of the evildoers, and against the help of them that work
iniquity.

back Because thy rage against me, and thy tumult, is
come up into mine ears, therefore will I put my hook in thy nose,
and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee {back} by the
way by which thou camest.

back Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but
thou hast in love to my soul [delivered it] from the pit of
corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy {back}.

back They shall be turned {back}, they shall be
greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the
molten images, Ye [are] our gods.

back I will say to the north, Give up; and to the
south, Keep not {back}: bring my sons from far, and my daughters
from the ends of the earth;

back The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not
rebellious, neither turned away {back}.

back I gave my {back} to the smiters, and my cheeks
to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame
and spitting.

back Saying to a stock, Thou [art] my father; and to
a stone, Thou hast brought me forth: for they have turned
[their] {back} unto me, and not [their] face: but in the time of
their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us.

back For this gird you with sackcloth, lament and howl:
for the fierce anger of the LORD is not turned {back} from us.

back For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens
above be black: because I have spoken [it], I have purposed [it],
and will not repent, neither will I turn {back} from it.

back Thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall
thoroughly glean the remnant of Israel as a vine: turn {back}
thine hand as a grapegatherer into the baskets.

back Why [then] is this people of Jerusalem slidden
{back} by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they
refuse to return.

back They are turned {back} to the iniquities of
their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went
after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the
house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their
father

s.

back I will scatter them as with an east wind before
the enemy; I will show them the {back}, and not the face, in the
day of their calamity.

back Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Behold, I
will turn {back} the weapons of war that [are] in your hands,
wherewith ye fight against the king of Babylon, and [against]
the Chaldeans, which besiege you without the walls, and I will
assembl

e them into the midst of this city.

back And they have turned unto me the {back}, and
not the face: though I taught them, rising up early and teaching
[them], yet they have not hearkened to receive instruction.

back And, behold, all the women that are left in the
king of Judah's house [shall be] brought forth to the king of

in the mire, [and] they are turned away {back}.

back Now while he was not yet gone {back}, [he said],
Go back also to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan,
whom the king of Babylon hath made governor over the cities of
Judah, and dwell with him among the people: or go wheresoever it

seemeth convenient unto thee to go. So the captain of the guard
gave him victuals and a reward, and let him go.

back Now while he was not yet gone back, [he said],
Go {back} also to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan,

Judah, and dwell with him among the people: or go wheresoever it

seemeth convenient unto thee to go. So the captain of the guard
gave him victuals and a reward, and let him go.

back Then Jeremiah the prophet said unto them, I have
heard [you]; behold, I will pray unto the LORD your God
according to your words; and it shall come to pass, [that]
whatsoever thing the LORD shall answer you, I will declare [it]
unto you; I

will keep nothing {back} from you.

back Wherefore have I seen them dismayed [and] turned
away {back}? and their mighty ones are beaten down, and are fled
apace, and look not back: [for] fear [was] round about, saith
the LORD.

back Wherefore have I seen them dismayed [and] turned
away back? and their mighty ones are beaten down, and are fled
apace, and look not {back}: [for] fear [was] round about, saith
the LORD.

back Also her hired men [are] in the midst of her
like fatted bullocks; for they also are turned {back}, [and] are
fled away together: they did not stand, because the day of their
calamity was come upon them, [and] the time of their visitation

.

back At the noise of the stamping of the hoofs of his
strong [horses], at the rushing of his chariots, [and at] the
rumbling of his wheels, the fathers shall not look {back} to
[their] children for feebleness of hands;

back Cursed [be] he that doeth the work of the LORD
deceitfully, and cursed [be] he that keepeth {back} his sword
from blood.

back They shall howl, [saying], How is it broken
down! how hath Moab turned the {back} with shame! so shall Moab

of Dedan; for I will bring the calamity of Esau upon him, the
time [that] I will visit him.

it prevaileth against them: he hath spread a net for my feet, he
hath turned me {back}: he hath made me desolate [and] faint all
the day.

back He hath cut off in [his] fierce anger all the
horn of Israel: he hath drawn {back} his right hand from before
the enemy, and he burned against Jacob like a flaming fire,
[which] devoureth round about.

back Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou
hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy {back}, therefore bear
thou also thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.

back I the LORD have spoken [it]: it shall come to
pass, and I will do [it]; I will not go {back}, neither will I
spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and
according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord
GOD.

back And I will turn thee {back}, and put hooks into
thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army,
horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts [of
armour, even] a great company [with] bucklers and shields, all
of them h

andling swords:

back After many days thou shalt be visited: in the
latter years thou shalt come into the land [that is] brought
{back} from the sword, [and is] gathered out of many people,
against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste:
but it i

s brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely
all of them.

back And I will turn thee {back}, and leave but the
sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the
north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:

back Then he brought me {back} the way of the gate of
the outward sanctuary which looketh toward the east; and it
[was] shut.

back After this I beheld, and lo another, like a
leopard, which had upon the {back} of it four wings of a fowl;
the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.

back For Israel slideth {back} as a backsliding
heifer: now the LORD will feed them as a lamb in a large place.

back But Nineveh [is] of old like a pool of water: yet
they shall flee away. Stand, stand, [shall they cry]; but none
shall look {back}.

back And them that are turned {back} from the LORD;
and [those] that have not sought the LORD, nor inquired for him.

back At that time will I bring you [again], even in
the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a
praise among all people of the earth, when I turn {back} your
captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD.

back Neither let him which is in the field return
{back} to take his clothes.

back And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for

{back} again for to take up his garment.

turned {back}, and with a loud voice glorified God,

back In that day, he which shall be upon the
housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to
take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not
return {back}.

back From that time] many of his disciples went
{back}, and walked no more with him.

back And when she had thus said, she turned herself
{back}, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.

being privy to it], and brought a certain part, and laid it], at
the apostles' feet.

back But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled
thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep {back} part]
of the price of the land?

back To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust
him] from them, and in their hearts turned {back} again into
Egypt,

back And] how I kept {back} nothing that was
profitable unto you], but have showed you, and have taught you
publicly, and from house to house,

back Let their eyes be darkened that they may not
see, and bow down their {back} alway.

back Now the just shall live by faith: but if any
man] draw {back}, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

back But we are not of them who draw {back} unto
perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

back Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped
down your fields, which is of you kept {back} by fraud, crieth:
and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the
ears of the Lord of sabaoth.
