fleshhooks, and the shovels, and the basins, all the vessels of
the

{altar}; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers

' skins, and put to the staves of it.

altar And the hangings of the court, and the hanging
for

the door of the gate of the court, which [is] by the tabernacle
and

by the {altar} round about, and their cords, and all the
instruments

of their service, and all that is made for them: s

o shall they serve.

altar Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering

out of the woman's hand, and shall wave the offering before the

LORD, and offer it upon the {altar}:

altar And the priest shall take an handful of the

offering, [even] the memorial thereof, and burn [it] upon the

{altar}, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water.

altar And it came to pass on the day that Moses had
fully

set up the tabernacle, and had anointed it, and sanctified it,
and

all the instruments thereof, both the {altar} and all the vessels

thereof, and had anointed them, and sanctified them;

altar And the princes offered for dedicating of the
altar

in the day that it was anointed, even the princes offered their

offering before the {altar}.

altar And the princes offered for dedicating of the

{altar} in the day that it was anointed, even the princes offered

their offering before the altar.

altar And the LORD said unto Moses, They shall offer

their offering, each prince on his day, for the dedicating of the

{altar}.

altar This [was] the dedication of the {altar}, in the

day when it was anointed, by the princes of Israel: twelve
chargers

of silver, twelve silver bowls, twelve spoons of gold:

altar And all the oxen for the sacrifice of the peace

offerings [were] twenty and four bullocks, the rams sixty, the he

goats sixty, the lambs of the first year sixty. This [was] the

dedication of the {altar}, after that it was anointed.

altar The censers of these sinners against their own

souls, let them make them broad plates [for] a covering of the

{altar}: for they offered them before the LORD, therefore they
are

hallowed: and they shall be a sign unto the children of Isra

el.

altar And Eleazar the priest took the brazen censers,

wherewith they that were burnt had offered; and they were made
broad

[plates for] a covering of the {altar}:

altar And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and
put

fire therein from off the {altar}, and put on incense, and go

quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them:
for

there is wrath gone out from the LORD; the plague is begun

.

altar And they shall keep thy charge, and the charge
of

all the tabernacle: only they shall not come nigh the vessels of
the

sanctuary and the {altar}, that neither they, nor ye also, die.

altar And ye shall keep the charge of the sanctuary,
and

the charge of the {altar}: that there be no wrath any more upon
the

children of Israel.

altar Therefore thou and thy sons with thee shall keep

your priest's office for every thing of the {altar}, and within
the

veil; and ye shall serve: I have given your priest's office [unto

you as] a service of gift: and the stranger that cometh

nigh shall be put to death.

altar But the firstling of a cow, or the firstling
of a

sheep, or the firstling of a goat, thou shalt not redeem; they
[are]

holy: thou shalt sprinkle their blood upon the {altar}, and shalt

burn their fat [for] an offering made by fire, for a

sweet savour unto the LORD.

altar And Balak did as Balaam had spoken; and Balak
and

Balaam offered on [every] {altar} a bullock and a ram.

altar And God met Balaam: and he said unto him, I have

prepared seven altars, and I have offered upon [every] {altar} a

bullock and a ram.

altar And he brought him into the field of Zophim, to

the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars, and offered a bullock
and

a ram on [every] {altar}.

altar And Balak did as Balaam had said, and offered a

bullock and a ram on [every] {altar}.

altar And thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, the

flesh and the blood, upon the {altar} of the LORD thy God: and
the

blood of thy sacrifices shall be poured out upon the altar of the

LORD thy God, and thou shalt eat the flesh.

altar And thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, the

flesh and the blood, upon the altar of the LORD thy God: and the

blood of thy sacrifices shall be poured out upon the {altar} of
the

LORD thy God, and thou shalt eat the flesh.

altar Thou shalt not plant thee a grove of any trees

near unto the {altar} of the LORD thy God, which thou shalt make

thee.

altar And the priest shall take the basket out of
thine

hand, and set it down before the {altar} of the LORD thy God.

altar And there shalt thou build an {altar} unto the
LORD

thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt not lift up [any] iron

[tool] upon them.

altar And there shalt thou build an altar unto the
LORD

thy God, an {altar} of stones: thou shalt not lift up [any] iron

[tool] upon them.

altar Thou shalt build the {altar} of the LORD thy
God of

whole stones: and thou shalt offer burnt offerings thereon unto
the

LORD thy God:

altar They shall teach Jacob thy judgments, and
Israel

thy law: they shall put incense before thee, and whole burnt

sacrifice upon thine {altar}.

altar Then Joshua built an {altar} unto the LORD God
of

Israel in mount Ebal,

altar As Moses the servant of the LORD commanded the

children of Israel, as it is written in the book of the law of

Moses, an {altar} of whole stones, over which no man hath lift up

[any] iron: and they offered thereon burnt offerings unto the

LORD, and sacrificed peace offerings.

altar And Joshua made them that day hewers of wood and

drawers of water for the congregation, and for the {altar} of the

LORD, even unto this day, in the place which he should choose.

altar And when they came unto the borders of Jordan,

that [are] in the land of Canaan, the children of Reuben and the

children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh built there an
altar

by Jordan, a great {altar} to see to.

altar And when they came unto the borders of Jordan,

that [are] in the land of Canaan, the children of Reuben and the

children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh built there an

{altar} by Jordan, a great altar to see to.

altar And the children of Israel heard say, Behold,
the

children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of

Manasseh have built an {altar} over against the land of Canaan,
in

the borders of Jordan, at the passage of the children o

f Israel.

altar Thus saith the whole congregation of the LORD,

What trespass [is] this that ye have committed against the God of

Israel, to turn away this day from following the LORD, in that ye

have builded you an {altar}, that ye might rebel this day

against the LORD?

altar Notwithstanding, if the land of your possession

[be] unclean, [then] pass ye over unto the land of the
possession of

the LORD, wherein the LORD'S tabernacle dwelleth, and take

possession among us: but rebel not against the LORD, nor rebe

l against us, in building you an {altar} beside the altar of the

LORD our God.

altar Notwithstanding, if the land of your possession

[be] unclean, [then] pass ye over unto the land of the
possession of

the LORD, wherein the LORD'S tabernacle dwelleth, and take

possession among us: but rebel not against the LORD, nor rebe

l against us, in building you an altar beside the {altar} of the

LORD our God.

altar That we have built us an {altar} to turn from

following the LORD, or if to offer thereon burnt offering or meat

offering, or if to offer peace offerings thereon, let the LORD

himself require [it];

altar Therefore we said, Let us now prepare to build
us

an {altar}, not for burnt offering, nor for sacrifice:

altar Therefore said we, that it shall be, when they

should [so] say to us or to our generations in time to come,
that we

may say [again], Behold the pattern of the {altar} of the LORD,

which our fathers made, not for burnt offerings, nor for

sacrifices; but it [is] a witness between us and you.

altar God forbid that we should rebel against the
LORD,

and turn this day from following the LORD, to build an {altar}
for

burnt offerings, for meat offerings, or for sacrifices, beside
the

altar of the LORD our God that [is] before his tabern

acle.

altar God forbid that we should rebel against the
LORD,

and turn this day from following the LORD, to build an altar for

burnt offerings, for meat offerings, or for sacrifices, beside
the

{altar} of the LORD our God that [is] before his tabern

acle.

altar And the children of Reuben and the children of
Gad

called the {altar} [Ed]: for it [shall be] a witness between us
that

the LORD [is] God.

altar Then Gideon built an {altar} there unto the
LORD,

and called it Jehovahshalom: unto this day it [is] yet in Ophrah
of

the Abiezrites.

altar And it came to pass the same night, that the
LORD

said unto him, Take thy father's young bullock, even the second

bullock of seven years old, and throw down the {altar} of Baal
that

thy father hath, and cut down the grove that [is] by it:

altar And build an {altar} unto the LORD thy God upon
the

top of this rock, in the ordered place, and take the second
bullock,

and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the grove which thou

shalt cut down.

altar And when the men of the city arose early in the

morning, behold, the {altar} of Baal was cast down, and the grove

was cut down that [was] by it, and the second bullock was offered

upon the altar [that was] built.

altar And when the men of the city arose early in the

morning, behold, the altar of Baal was cast down, and the grove
was

cut down that [was] by it, and the second bullock was offered
upon

the {altar} [that was] built.

altar Then the men of the city said unto Joash, Bring
out

thy son, that he may die: because he hath cast down the {altar}
of

Baal, and because he hath cut down the grove that [was] by it.

altar And Joash said unto all that stood against him,

Will ye plead for Baal? will ye save him? he that will plead for

him, let him be put to death whilst [it is yet] morning: if he
[be]

a god, let him plead for himself, because [one] hath cast

down his {altar}.

altar Therefore on that day he called him Jerubbaal,

saying, Let Baal plead against him, because he hath thrown down
his

{altar}.

altar For it came to pass, when the flame went up
toward

heaven from off the {altar}, that the angel of the LORD ascended
in

the flame of the altar. And Manoah and his wife looked on [it],
and

fell on their faces to the ground.

altar For it came to pass, when the flame went up
toward

heaven from off the altar, that the angel of the LORD ascended in

the flame of the {altar}. And Manoah and his wife looked on [it],

and fell on their faces to the ground.

altar And it came to pass on the morrow, that the
people

rose early, and built there an {altar}, and offered burnt
offerings

and peace offerings.

altar <1SA2 -28> And did I choose him out of all the tribes of

Israel [to be] my priest, to offer upon mine {altar}, to burn

incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the
house

of thy father all the offerings made by fire of the children of

Israel?

altar <1SA2 -33> And the man of thine, [whom] I shall not cut off

from mine {altar}, [shall be] to consume thine eyes, and to
grieve

thine heart: and all the increase of thine house shall die in the

flower of their age.

altar <1SA7 -17> And his return [was] to Ramah; for there [was]
his

house; and there he judged Israel; and there he built an {altar}

unto the LORD.

altar <1SA14 -35> And Saul built an altar unto the LORD: the same

was the first {altar} that he built unto the LORD.

altar <1SA14 -35> And Saul built an {altar} unto the LORD: the
same

was the first altar that he built unto the LORD.

altar <2SA24 -18> And Gad came that day to David, and said unto
him,

Go up, rear an {altar} unto the LORD in the threshingfloor of

Araunah the Jebusite.

altar <2SA24 -21> And Araunah said, Wherefore is my lord the king

come to his servant? And David said, To buy the threshingfloor of

thee, to build an {altar} unto the LORD, that the plague may be

stayed from the people.

altar <2SA24 -25> And David built there an {altar} unto the LORD,

and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the LORD was

entreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from Israel.

altar <1KI1 -50> And Adonijah feared because of Solomon, and
arose,

and went, and caught hold on the horns of the {altar}.

altar <1KI1 -51> And it was told Solomon, saying, Behold,
Adonijah

feareth king Solomon: for, lo, he hath caught hold on the horns
of

the {altar}, saying, Let king Solomon swear unto me to day that
he

will not slay his servant with the sword.

altar <1KI1 -53> So king Solomon sent, and they brought him down

from the {altar}. And he came and bowed himself to king Solomon:
and

Solomon said unto him, Go to thine house.

altar <1KI2 -28> Then tidings came to Joab: for Joab had turned

after Adonijah, though he turned not after Absalom. And Joab fled

unto the tabernacle of the LORD, and caught hold on the horns of
the

{altar}.

altar <1KI2 -29> And it was told king Solomon that Joab was fled

unto the tabernacle of the LORD; and, behold, [he is] by the

{altar}. Then Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, saying,
Go,

fall upon him.

altar <1KI3 -4> And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there;
for

that [was] the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did

Solomon offer upon that {altar}.

altar <1KI6 -20> And the oracle in the forepart [was] twenty
cubits

in length, and twenty cubits in breadth, and twenty cubits in the

height thereof: and he overlaid it with pure gold; and [so]
covered

the {altar} [which was of] cedar.

altar <1KI6 -22> And the whole house he overlaid with gold,
until he

had finished all the house: also the whole {altar} that [was] by
the

oracle he overlaid with gold.

altar <1KI7 -48> And Solomon made all the vessels that
[pertained]

unto the house of the LORD: the {altar} of gold, and the table of

gold, whereupon the showbread [was],

altar <1KI8 -22> And Solomon stood before the {altar} of the
LORD in

the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth
his

hands toward heaven:

altar <1KI8 -31> If any man trespass against his neighbour, and
an

oath be laid upon him to cause him to swear, and the oath come

before thine {altar} in this house:

altar <1KI8 -54> And it was [so], that when Solomon had made an
end

of praying all this prayer and supplication unto the LORD, he
arose

from before the {altar} of the LORD, from kneeling on his knees
with

his hands spread up to heaven.

altar <1KI8 -64> The same day did the king hallow the middle of
the

court that [was] before the house of the LORD for there he
offered

burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace

offerings: because the brazen {altar} that [was] before th

e LORD [was] too little to receive the burnt offerings, and meat

offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings.

altar <1KI9 -25> And three times in a year did Solomon offer
burnt

offerings and peace offerings upon the altar which he built unto
the

LORD, and he burnt incense upon the {altar} that [was] before the

LORD. So he finished the house.

burnt

offerings and peace offerings upon the {altar} which he built
unto

the LORD, and he burnt incense upon the altar that [was] before
the

LORD. So he finished the house.

altar <1KI12 -32> And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth
month,

on the fifteenth day of the month, like unto the feast that [is]
in

Judah, and he offered upon the {altar}. So did he in Bethel,

sacrificing unto the calves that he had made: and he plac

ed in Bethel the priests of the high places which he had made.

altar <1KI12 -33> So he offered upon the altar which he had made
in

Bethel the fifteenth day of the eighth month, [even] in the month

which he had devised of his own heart; and ordained a feast unto
the

children of Israel: and he offered upon the {altar},

and burnt incense.

altar <1KI12 -33> So he offered upon the {altar} which he had
made

in Bethel the fifteenth day of the eighth month, [even] in the
month

which he had devised of his own heart; and ordained a feast unto
the

children of Israel: and he offered upon the altar,

and burnt incense.

altar <1KI13 -1> And, behold, there came a man of God out of
Judah

by the word of the LORD unto Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the

{altar} to burn incense.

altar <1KI13 -2> And he cried against the {altar} in the word of
the

LORD, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the LORD; Behold, a
child

shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon
thee

shall he offer the priests of the high places th

at burn incense upon thee, and men's bones shall be burnt upon
thee.

altar <1KI13 -2> And he cried against the altar in the word of
the

LORD, and said, O altar, {altar}, thus saith the LORD; Behold, a

child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and

upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places th

at burn incense upon thee, and men's bones shall be burnt upon
thee.

altar <1KI13 -2> And he cried against the altar in the word of
the

LORD, and said, O {altar}, altar, thus saith the LORD; Behold, a

child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and

upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places th

at burn incense upon thee, and men's bones shall be burnt upon
thee.

altar <1KI13 -3> And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This
[is]

the sign which the LORD hath spoken; Behold, the {altar} shall be

rent, and the ashes that [are] upon it shall be poured out.

altar <1KI13 -4> And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard
the

saying of the man of God, which had cried against the {altar} in

Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay
hold

on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, d

ried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.

altar <1KI13 -4> And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard
the

saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in

Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the {altar}, saying, Lay

hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, d

ried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.

altar <1KI13 -5> The altar also was rent, and the ashes poured
out

from the {altar}, according to the sign which the man of God had

given by the word of the LORD.

altar <1KI13 -5> The {altar} also was rent, and the ashes poured
out

from the altar, according to the sign which the man of God had
given

by the word of the LORD.

altar <1KI13 -32> For the saying which he cried by the word of
the

LORD against the {altar} in Bethel, and against all the houses of

the high places which [are] in the cities of Samaria, shall
surely

come to pass.

altar <1KI16 -32> And he reared up an {altar} for Baal in the
house

of Baal, which he had built in Samaria.

altar <1KI18 -26> And they took the bullock which was given them,

and they dressed [it], and called on the name of Baal from
morning

even until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us. But [there was] no
voice,

nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the {altar

} which was made.

altar <1KI18 -30> And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near

unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired
the

{altar} of the LORD [that was] broken down.

altar <1KI18 -32> And with the stones he built an {altar} in the

name of the LORD: and he made a trench about the altar, as great
as

would contain two measures of seed.

altar <1KI18 -32> And with the stones he built an altar in the
name

of the LORD: and he made a trench about the {altar}, as great as

would contain two measures of seed.

altar <1KI18 -35> And the water ran round about the {altar}; and
he

filled the trench also with water.

altar <2KI11 -11> And the guard stood, every man with his
weapons in

his hand, round about the king, from the right corner of the
temple

to the left corner of the temple, [along] by the {altar} and the

temple.

altar <2KI12 -9> But Jehoiada the priest took a chest, and bored
a

hole in the lid of it, and set it beside the {altar}, on the
right

side as one cometh into the house of the LORD: and the priests
that

kept the door put therein all the money [that was] br

ought into the house of the LORD.

altar <2KI16 -10> And king Ahaz went to Damascus to meet

Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, and saw an altar that [was] at

Damascus: and king Ahaz sent to Urijah the priest the fashion of
the

{altar}, and the pattern of it, according to all the workmanship
t

hereof.

altar <2KI16 -10> And king Ahaz went to Damascus to meet

Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, and saw an {altar} that [was] at

Damascus: and king Ahaz sent to Urijah the priest the fashion of
the

altar, and the pattern of it, according to all the workmanship t

hereof.

altar <2KI16 -11> And Urijah the priest built an {altar}
according

to all that king Ahaz had sent from Damascus: so Urijah the
priest

made [it] against king Ahaz came from Damascus.

altar <2KI16 -12> And when the king was come from Damascus, the
king

saw the altar: and the king approached to the {altar}, and
offered

thereon.

altar <2KI16 -12> And when the king was come from Damascus, the
king

saw the {altar}: and the king approached to the altar, and
offered

thereon.

altar <2KI16 -13> And he burnt his burnt offering and his meat

offering, and poured his drink offering, and sprinkled the blood
of

his peace offerings, upon the {altar}.

altar <2KI16 -14> And he brought also the brazen altar, which
[was]

before the LORD, from the forefront of the house, from between
the

{altar} and the house of the LORD, and put it on the north side
of

the altar.

altar <2KI16 -14> And he brought also the brazen {altar}, which

[was] before the LORD, from the forefront of the house, from
between

the altar and the house of the LORD, and put it on the north
side of

the altar.

altar <2KI16 -14> And he brought also the brazen altar, which
[was]

before the LORD, from the forefront of the house, from between
the

altar and the house of the LORD, and put it on the north side of
the

{altar}.

altar <2KI16 -15> And king Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest,
saying,

Upon the great {altar} burn the morning burnt offering, and the

evening meat offering, and the king's burnt sacrifice, and his
meat

offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of

the land, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings;
and

sprinkle upon it all the blood of the burnt offering, and all the

blood of the sacrifice: and the brazen altar shall be for me to

inquire [by].

altar <2KI16 -15> And king Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest,
saying,

Upon the great altar burn the morning burnt offering, and the

evening meat offering, and the king's burnt sacrifice, and his
meat

offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of t

he land, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings; and

sprinkle upon it all the blood of the burnt offering, and all the

blood of the sacrifice: and the brazen {altar} shall be for me to

inquire [by].

altar <2KI18 -22> But if ye say unto me, We trust in the LORD our

God: [is] not that he, whose high places and whose altars
Hezekiah

hath taken away, and hath said to Judah and Jerusalem, Ye shall

worship before this {altar} in Jerusalem?

altar <2KI23 -9> Nevertheless the priests of the high places came

not up to the {altar} of the LORD in Jerusalem, but they did eat
of

the unleavened bread among their brethren.

altar <2KI23 -15> Moreover the altar that [was] at Bethel, [and]
the

high place which Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to
sin,

had made, both that {altar} and the high place he brake down, and

burned the high place, [and] stamped [it] small to p

owder, and burned the grove.

altar <2KI23 -15> Moreover the {altar} that [was] at Bethel,
[and]

the high place which Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel
to

sin, had made, both that altar and the high place he brake down,
and

burned the high place, [and] stamped [it] small to p

owder, and burned the grove.

altar <2KI23 -16> And as Josiah turned himself, he spied the

sepulchres that [were] there in the mount, and sent, and took the

bones out of the sepulchres, and burned [them] upon the {altar},
and

polluted it, according to the word of the LORD which the ma

n of God proclaimed, who proclaimed these words.

altar <2KI23 -17> Then he said, What title [is] that that I see?
And

the men of the city told him, [It is] the sepulchre of the man of

God, which came from Judah, and proclaimed these things that thou

hast done against the {altar} of Bethel.

altar <1CH6 -49> But Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of

the burnt offering, and on the {altar} of incense, [and were

appointed] for all the work of the [place] most holy, and to
make an

atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the serva

nt of God had commanded.

altar <1CH6 -49> But Aaron and his sons offered upon the {altar}
of

the burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, [and were

appointed] for all the work of the [place] most holy, and to
make an

atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the serva

nt of God had commanded.

altar <1CH16 -40> To offer burnt offerings unto the LORD upon the

{altar} of the burnt offering continually morning and evening,
and

[to do] according to all that is written in the law of the LORD,

which he commanded Israel;

altar <1CH21 -18> Then the angel of the LORD commanded Gad to
say to

David, that David should go up, and set up an {altar} unto the
LORD

in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

altar <1CH21 -22> Then David said to Ornan, Grant me the place of

[this] threshingfloor, that I may build an {altar} therein unto
the

LORD: thou shalt grant it me for the full price: that the plague
may

be stayed from the people.

altar <1CH21 -26> And David built there an altar unto the LORD,
and

offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called upon the

LORD; and he answered him from heaven by fire upon the {altar} of

burnt offering.

altar <1CH21 -26> And David built there an {altar} unto the LORD,

and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called upon
the

LORD; and he answered him from heaven by fire upon the altar of

burnt offering.

made

in the wilderness, and the {altar} of the burnt offering, [were]
at

that season in the high place at Gibeon.

altar <1CH22 -1> Then David said, This [is] the house of the LORD

God, and this [is] the {altar} of the burnt offering for Israel.

altar <1CH28 -18> And for the {altar} of incense refined gold by

weight; and gold for the pattern of the chariot of the cherubims,

that spread out [their wings], and covered the ark of the
covenant

of the LORD.

altar <2CH1 -5> Moreover the brazen {altar}, that Bezaleel the
son

of Uri, the son of Hur, had made, he put before the tabernacle of

the LORD: and Solomon and the congregation sought unto it.

altar <2CH1 -6> And Solomon went up thither to the brazen {altar}

before the LORD, which [was] at the tabernacle of the
congregation,

and offered a thousand burnt offerings upon it.

altar <2CH4 -1> Moreover he made an {altar} of brass, twenty
cubits

the length thereof, and twenty cubits the breadth thereof, and
ten

cubits the height thereof.

altar <2CH4 -19> And Solomon made all the vessels that [were for]

the house of God, the golden {altar} also, and the tables whereon

the showbread [was set];

altar <2CH5 -12> Also the Levites [which were] the singers, all
of

them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their

brethren, [being] arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and

psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the {altar}, and

with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:)

altar <2CH6 -12> And he stood before the {altar} of the LORD in
the

presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his

hands:

altar <2CH6 -22> If a man sin against his neighbour, and an oath
be

laid upon him to make him swear, and the oath come before thine

{altar} in this house;

altar <2CH7 -7> Moreover Solomon hallowed the middle of the court

that [was] before the house of the LORD: for there he offered
burnt

offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the brazen

{altar} which Solomon had made was not able to receive

the burnt offerings, and the meat offerings, and the fat.

altar <2CH7 -9> And in the eighth day they made a solemn
assembly:

for they kept the dedication of the {altar} seven days, and the

feast seven days.

altar <2CH8 -12> Then Solomon offered burnt offerings unto the
LORD

on the {altar} of the LORD, which he had built before the porch,

altar <2CH15 -8> And when Asa heard these words, and the
prophecy of

Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable
idols

out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities

which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed t

he {altar} of the LORD, that [was] before the porch of the LORD.

altar <2CH23 -10> And he set all the people, every man having his

weapon in his hand, from the right side of the temple to the left

side of the temple, along by the {altar} and the temple, by the
king

round about.

altar <2CH26 -16> But when he was strong, his heart was lifted
up to

[his] destruction: for he transgressed against the LORD his God,
and

went into the temple of the LORD to burn incense upon the
{altar} of

incense.

altar <2CH26 -19> Then Uzziah was wroth, and [had] a censer in
his

hand to burn incense: and while he was wroth with the priests,
the

leprosy even rose up in his forehead before the priests in the
house

of the LORD, from beside the incense {altar}.

altar <2CH29 -18> Then they went in to Hezekiah the king, and
said,

We have cleansed all the house of the LORD, and the {altar} of
burnt

offering, with all the vessels thereof, and the showbread table,

with all the vessels thereof.

altar <2CH29 -19> Moreover all the vessels, which king Ahaz in
his

reign did cast away in his transgression, have we prepared and

sanctified, and, behold, they [are] before the {altar} of the
LORD.

altar <2CH29 -21> And they brought seven bullocks, and seven
rams,

and seven lambs, and seven he goats, for a sin offering for the

kingdom, and for the sanctuary, and for Judah. And he commanded
the

priests the sons of Aaron to offer [them] on the {altar}

of the LORD.

altar <2CH29 -22> So they killed the bullocks, and the priests

received the blood, and sprinkled [it] on the altar: likewise,
when

they had killed the rams, they sprinkled the blood upon the
{altar}:

they killed also the lambs, and they sprinkled the bloo

d upon the altar.

altar <2CH29 -22> So they killed the bullocks, and the priests

received the blood, and sprinkled [it] on the altar: likewise,
when

they had killed the rams, they sprinkled the blood upon the
altar:

they killed also the lambs, and they sprinkled the blood

upon the {altar}.

altar <2CH29 -22> So they killed the bullocks, and the priests

received the blood, and sprinkled [it] on the {altar}: likewise,

when they had killed the rams, they sprinkled the blood upon the

altar: they killed also the lambs, and they sprinkled the bloo

d upon the altar.

altar <2CH29 -24> And the priests killed them, and they made

reconciliation with their blood upon the {altar}, to make an

atonement for all Israel: for the king commanded [that] the burnt

offering and the sin offering [should be made] for all Israel.

altar <2CH29 -27> And Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt
offering

upon the {altar}. And when the burnt offering began, the song of
the

LORD began [also] with the trumpets, and with the instruments

[ordained] by David king of Israel.

altar <2CH32 -12> Hath not the same Hezekiah taken away his high

places and his altars, and commanded Judah and Jerusalem, saying,
Ye

shall worship before one {altar}, and burn incense upon it?

altar <2CH33 -16> And he repaired the {altar} of the LORD, and

sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and

commanded Judah to serve the LORD God of Israel.

altar <2CH35 -16> So all the service of the LORD was prepared the

same day, to keep the passover, and to offer burnt offerings upon

the {altar} of the LORD, according to the commandment of king

Josiah.

altar Then stood up Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his

brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and
his

brethren, and builded the {altar} of the God of Israel, to offer

burnt offerings thereon, as [it is] written in the law of

Moses the man of God.

altar And they set the {altar} upon his bases; for fear

[was] upon them because of the people of those countries: and
they

offered burnt offerings thereon unto the LORD, [even] burnt

offerings morning and evening.

altar That thou mayest buy speedily with this money

bullocks, rams, lambs, with their meat offerings and their drink

offerings, and offer them upon the {altar} of the house of your
God

which [is] in Jerusalem.

altar And we cast the lots among the priests, the

Levites, and the people, for the wood offering, to bring [it]
into

the house of our God, after the houses of our fathers, at times

appointed year by year, to burn upon the {altar} of the LORD o

ur God, as [it is] written in the law:

altar I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I

compass thine {altar}, O LORD:

altar Then will I go unto the {altar} of God, unto
God my

exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my
God.

altar Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices
of

righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then

shall they offer bullocks upon thine {altar}.

altar God [is] the LORD, which hath showed us light:

bind the sacrifice with cords, [even] unto the horns of the
{altar}.

altar Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a

live coal in his hand, [which] he had taken with the tongs from
off

the {altar}:

altar In that day shall there be an {altar} to the
LORD

in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border

thereof to the LORD.

altar By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be

purged; and this [is] all the fruit to take away his sin; when he

maketh all the stones of the {altar} as chalkstones that are
beaten

in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up.

altar But if thou say to me, We trust in the LORD our

God: [is it] not he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah

hath taken away, and said to Judah and to Jerusalem, Ye shall

worship before this {altar}?

altar Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and

make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and

their sacrifices [shall be] accepted upon mine {altar}; for mine

house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

altar All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered
together

unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they
shall

come up with acceptance on mine {altar}, and I will glorify the

house of my glory.

altar The Lord hath cast off his {altar}, he hath
abhorred

his sanctuary, he hath given up into the hand of the enemy the
walls

of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the LORD,
as

in the day of a solemn feast.

altar Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine
eyes

now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way

toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the {altar}

this image of jealousy in the entry.

altar And he brought me into the inner court of the

LORD'S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD,

between the porch and the {altar}, [were] about five and twenty
men,

with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their

faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the
east.

altar And, behold, six men came from the way of the
higher

gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter
weapon

in his hand; and one man among them [was] clothed with linen,
with a

writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in,

and stood beside the brazen {altar}.

altar And the chamber whose prospect [is] toward the

north [is] for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the

{altar}: these [are] the sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi,
which

come near to the LORD to minister unto him.

altar So he measured the court, an hundred cubits
long,

and an hundred cubits broad, foursquare; and the {altar} [that
was]

before the house.

altar The {altar} of wood [was] three cubits high,
and

the length thereof two cubits; and the corners thereof, and the

length thereof, and the walls thereof, [were] of wood: and he
said

unto me, This [is] the table that [is] before the LORD.

altar And these [are] the measures of the altar after

the cubits: The cubit [is] a cubit and an hand breadth; even the

bottom [shall be] a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the
border

thereof by the edge thereof round about [shall be] a span

: and this [shall be] the higher place of the {altar}.

altar And these [are] the measures of the {altar}
after

the cubits: The cubit [is] a cubit and an hand breadth; even the

bottom [shall be] a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the
border

thereof by the edge thereof round about [shall be] a sp

an: and this [shall be] the higher place of the altar.

altar So the altar [shall be] four cubits; and from
the

{altar} and upward [shall be] four horns.

altar So the {altar} [shall be] four cubits; and from

the altar and upward [shall be] four horns.

altar And the {altar} [shall be] twelve [cubits]
long,

twelve broad, square in the four squares thereof.

altar And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the

Lord GOD; These [are] the ordinances of the {altar} in the day
when

they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to

sprinkle blood thereon.

altar And on the second day thou shalt offer a kid of

the goats without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall
cleanse

the {altar}, as they did cleanse [it] with the bullock.

altar Seven days shall they purge the {altar} and
purify

it; and they shall consecrate themselves.

altar And when these days are expired, it shall be,

[that] upon the eighth day, and [so] forward, the priests shall
make

your burnt offerings upon the {altar}, and your peace offerings;
and

I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD.

altar And the priest shall take of the blood of the
sin

offering, and put [it] upon the posts of the house, and upon the

four corners of the settle of the {altar}, and upon the posts of
the

gate of the inner court.

altar Afterward he brought me again unto the door of
the

house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of

the house eastward: for the forefront of the house [stood toward]

the east, and the waters came down from under from the

right side of the house, at the south [side] of the {altar}.

altar Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl,
ye

ministers of the {altar}: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye

ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink
offering is

withholden from the house of your God.

altar Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep

between the porch and the {altar}, and let them say, Spare thy

people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the

heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say amo

ng the people, Where [is] their God?

altar And they lay [themselves] down upon clothes laid
to

pledge by every {altar}, and they drink the wine of the condemned

[in] the house of their god.

altar That in the day that I shall visit the

transgressions of Israel upon him I will also visit the altars of

Bethel: and the horns of the {altar} shall be cut off, and fall
to

the ground.

altar I saw the Lord standing upon the {altar}: and he

said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and

cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of
them

with the sword: he that fleeth of them shall not flee aw

ay, and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered.

altar The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they
shall

devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, [and]

make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like
bowls,

[and] as the corners of the {altar}.

altar In that day shall there be upon the bells of
the

horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD'S house

shall be like the bowls before the {altar}.

altar Ye offer polluted bread upon mine {altar}; and ye

say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of
the

LORD [is] contemptible.

altar Who [is there] even among you that would shut
the

doors [for nought]? neither do ye kindle [fire] on mine {altar}
for

nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts,
neither

will I accept an offering at your hand.

altar And this have ye done again, covering the
{altar}

of the LORD with tears, with weeping, and with crying out,
insomuch

that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth [it]
with

good will at your hand.

altar Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the {altar},

and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;

altar Leave there thy gift before the {altar}, and go
thy

way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer
thy

gift.

altar And, Whosoever shall swear by the {altar}, it
is

nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he
is

guilty.

altar Ye] fools and blind: for whether [is] greater,
the

gift, or the {altar} that sanctifieth the gift?

altar Whoso therefore shall swear by the {altar},

sweareth by it, and by all things thereon.

altar That upon you may come all the righteous blood

shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the
blood

of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple
and

the {altar}.

altar And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord

standing on the right side of the {altar} of incense.

altar From the blood of Abel unto the blood of

Zacharias, which perished between the {altar} and the temple:
verily

I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.

altar For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions,
I

found an {altar} with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom

therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.

altar <1CO9 -13> Do ye not know that they which minister about
holy

things live of the things] of the temple? and they which wait at
the

{altar} are partakers with the altar?

altar <1CO9 -13> Do ye not know that they which minister about
holy

things live of the things] of the temple? and they which wait at
the

altar are partakers with the {altar}?

altar <1CO10 -18> Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they
which

eat of the sacrifices partakers of the {altar}?

altar For he of whom these things are spoken
pertaineth

to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the {altar}.

altar We have an {altar}, whereof they have no right
to

eat which serve the tabernacle.

altar Was not Abraham our father justified by works,
when

he had offered Isaac his son upon the {altar}?

altar And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw
under

the {altar} the souls of them that were slain for the word of
God,

and for the testimony which they held:

altar And another angel came and stood at the {altar},

having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much
incense,

that he should offer it] with the prayers of all saints upon the

golden altar which was before the throne.

altar And another angel came and stood at the altar,

having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much
incense,

that he should offer it] with the prayers of all saints upon the

golden {altar} which was before the throne.

altar And the angel took the censer, and filled it with

fire of the {altar}, and cast it] into the earth: and there were

voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

altar And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice

from the four horns of the golden {altar} which is before God,

altar And there was given me a reed like unto a rod:
and

the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and

the {altar}, and them that worship therein.

altar And another angel came out from the {altar},
which

had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had
the

sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the

clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are

fully ripe.

altar And I heard another out of the {altar} say, Even

so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are] thy judgments.
