ah Let them not say in their hearts, {Ah}, so would
we

have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.

ah {Ah} sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a

seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have
forsaken

the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger,
they

are gone away backward.

ah Therefore saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the

mighty One of Israel, {Ah}, I will ease me of mine adversaries,
and

avenge me of mine enemies:

ah Then said I, {Ah}, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak:

for I [am] a child.

ah Then said I, {Ah}, Lord GOD! surely thou hast
greatly

deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall have peace;

whereas the sword reacheth unto the soul.

ah Then said I, {Ah}, Lord GOD! behold, the prophets
say

unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have
famine;

but I will give you assured peace in this place.

ah Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning Jehoiakim

the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament for him,

[saying], Ah my brother! or, {Ah} sister! they shall not lament
for

him, [saying], Ah lord! or, Ah his glory!

ah Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning Jehoiakim

the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament for him,

[saying], Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! they shall not lament for

him, [saying], Ah lord! or, {Ah} his glory!

ah Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning Jehoiakim

the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament for him,

[saying], {Ah} my brother! or, Ah sister! they shall not lament
for

him, [saying], Ah lord! or, Ah his glory!

ah Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning Jehoiakim

the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament for him,

[saying], Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! they shall not lament for

him, [saying], {Ah} lord! or, Ah his glory!

ah {Ah} Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven
and

the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, [and] there

nothing too hard for thee:

ah But] thou shalt die in peace: and with the
burnings of

thy fathers, the former kings which were before thee, so shall
they

burn [odours] for thee; and they will lament thee, [saying], {Ah}

lord! for I have pronounced the word, saith the LORD

.

ah Then said I, {Ah} Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath
not

been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not
eaten

of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came

there abominable flesh into my mouth.

ah And it came to pass, while they were slaying them,
and

I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, {Ah}
Lord

GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring
out

of thy fury upon Jerusalem?

ah And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that
Pelatiah

the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried

with a loud voice, and said, {Ah} Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full

end of the remnant of Israel?

ah Then said I, {Ah} Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth
he

not speak parables?

ah I have set the point of the sword against all
their

gates, that [their] heart may faint, and [their] ruins be

multiplied: {ah}! [it is] made bright, [it is] wrapped up for the

ah And they that passed by railed on him, wagging
