lord <EZE32 -14> Then will I make their waters deep, and cause their rivers to run like oil, saith the {Lord} GOD.

lord <EZE32 -15> When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate, and the country shall be destitute of that whereof it was full, when I shall smite all them that dwell therein, then shall they know that I [am] the {LORD}.

lord <EZE32 -16> This [is] the lamentation wherewith they shall lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall lament for her, [even] for Egypt, and for all her multitude, saith the {Lord} GOD.

lord <EZE32 -17> It came to pass also in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth [day] of the month, [that] the word of the {LORD} came unto me, saying,

lord <EZE32 -31> Pharaoh shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, [even] Pharaoh and all his army slain by the sword, saith the {Lord} GOD.

lord <EZE32 -32> For I have caused my terror in the land of the living: and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised with [them that are] slain with the sword, [even] Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the {Lord} GOD.

lord <EZE33 -1> Again the word of the {LORD} came unto me, saying,

lord <EZE33 -11> Say unto them, [As] I live, saith the {Lord} GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

lord <EZE33 -17> Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the {Lord} is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal.

lord <EZE33 -20> Yet ye say, The way of the {Lord} is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways.

lord <EZE33 -22> Now the hand of the {LORD} was upon me in the evening, afore he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb.

lord <EZE33 -23> Then the word of the {LORD} came unto me, saying,

lord <EZE33 -25> Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land?

lord <EZE33 -27> Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; [As] I live, surely they that [are] in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that [is] in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that [be] in the forts a

nd in the caves shall die of the pestilence.

lord <EZE33 -29> Then shall they know that I [am] the {LORD}, when I have laid the land most desolate because of all their abominations which they have committed.

lord <EZE33 -30> Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that com

eth forth from the {LORD}.

lord <EZE34 -1> And the word of the {LORD} came unto me, saying,

lord <EZE34 -2> Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the {Lord} GOD unto the shepherds; Woe [be] to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

lord <EZE34 -7> Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the {LORD};

lord <EZE34 -8> As] I live, saith the {Lord} GOD, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because [there was] no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves,

 and fed not my flock;

lord <EZE34 -9> Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the {LORD};

lord <EZE34 -10> Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; Behold, I [am] against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock

from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.

lord <EZE34 -11> For thus saith the {Lord} GOD; Behold, I, [even] I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.

lord <EZE34 -15> I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the {Lord} GOD.

lord <EZE34 -17> And [as for] you, O my flock, thus saith the {Lord} GOD; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats.

lord <EZE34 -20> Therefore thus saith the {Lord} GOD unto them; Behold, I, [even] I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle.

lord <EZE34 -24> And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the {LORD} have spoken [it].

lord <EZE34 -24> And I the {LORD} will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken [it].

lord <EZE34 -27> And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I [am] the {LORD}, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of th

e hand of those that served themselves of them.

lord <EZE34 -30> Thus shall they know that I the {LORD} their God [am] with them, and [that] they, [even] the house of Israel, [are] my people, saith the Lord GOD.

lord <EZE34 -30> Thus shall they know that I the LORD their God [am] with them, and [that] they, [even] the house of Israel, [are] my people, saith the {Lord} GOD.

lord <EZE34 -31> And ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, [are] men, [and] I [am] your God, saith the {Lord} GOD.

lord <EZE35 -1> Moreover the word of the {LORD} came unto me, saying,

lord <EZE35 -3> And say unto it, Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, I [am] against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.

lord <EZE35 -4> I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I [am] the {LORD}.

lord <EZE35 -6> Therefore, [as] I live, saith the {Lord} GOD, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee.

lord <EZE35 -9> I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I [am] the {LORD}.

lord <EZE35 -10> Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the {LORD} was there:

lord <EZE35 -11> Therefore, [as] I live, saith the {Lord} GOD, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee.

lord <EZE35 -12> And thou shalt know that I [am] the {LORD}, [and that] I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.

lord <EZE35 -14> Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.

lord <EZE35 -15> As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, [even] all of it: and they shall know that I [am] the {LORD}.

lord <EZE36 -1> Also, thou son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the {LORD}:

lord <EZE36 -2> Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession:

lord <EZE36 -3> Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; Because they have made [you] desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, an

d [are] an infamy of the people:

lord <EZE36 -4> Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the {Lord} GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a

prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that [are] round about;

lord <EZE36 -4> Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the {Lord} GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a

prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that [are] round about;

lord <EZE36 -5> Therefore thus saith the {Lord} GOD; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all [their] heart, with des

piteful minds, to cast it out for a prey.

lord <EZE36 -6> Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the sh

ame of the heathen:

lord <EZE36 -7> Therefore thus saith the {Lord} GOD; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that [are] about you, they shall bear their shame.

lord <EZE36 -11> And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better [unto you] than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I [am] the {LORD}.

lord <EZE36 -13> Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; Because they say unto you, Thou [land] devourest up men, and hast bereaved thy nations;

lord <EZE36 -14> Therefore thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nations any more, saith the {Lord} GOD.

lord <EZE36 -15> Neither will I cause [men] to hear in thee the shame of the heathen any more, neither shalt thou bear the reproach of the people any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nations to fall any more, saith the {Lord} GOD.

lord <EZE36 -16> Moreover the word of the {LORD} came unto me, saying,

lord <EZE36 -20> And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These [are] the people of the {LORD}, and are gone forth out of his land.

lord <EZE36 -22> Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; I do not [this] for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.

lord <EZE36 -23> And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I [am] the {LORD}, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their ey

es.

lord <EZE36 -23> And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I [am] the LORD, saith the {Lord} GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their ey

es.

lord <EZE36 -32> Not for your sakes do I [this], saith the {Lord} GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.

lord <EZE36 -33> Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause [you] to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.

lord <EZE36 -36> Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the {LORD} build the ruined [places, and] plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken [it], and I will do [it].

lord <EZE36 -36> Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined [places, and] plant that that was desolate: I the {LORD} have spoken [it], and I will do [it].

lord <EZE36 -37> Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; I will yet [for] this be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do [it] for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.

lord <EZE36 -38> As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I [am] the {LORD}.

lord <EZE37 -1> The hand of the {LORD} was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which [was] full of bones,

lord <EZE37 -1> The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the {LORD}, and set me down in the midst of the valley which [was] full of bones,

lord <EZE37 -3> And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O {Lord} GOD, thou knowest.

lord <EZE37 -4> Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the {LORD}.

lord <EZE37 -5> Thus saith the {Lord} GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:

lord <EZE37 -6> And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I [am] the {LORD}.

lord <EZE37 -9> Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

lord <EZE37 -12> Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

lord <EZE37 -13> And ye shall know that I [am] the {LORD}, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,

lord <EZE37 -14> And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken [it], and performed [it], saith the {LORD}.

lord <EZE37 -14> And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the {LORD} have spoken [it], and performed [it], saith the LORD.

lord <EZE37 -15> The word of the {LORD} came again unto me, saying,

lord <EZE37 -19> Say unto them, Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which [is] in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, [even] with the stick of Judah, and make them one stic

k, and they shall be one in mine hand.

lord <EZE37 -21> And say unto them, Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

lord <EZE37 -28> And the heathen shall know that I the {LORD} do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

lord <EZE38 -1> And the word of the {LORD} came unto me, saying,

lord <EZE38 -3> And say, Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

lord <EZE38 -10> Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; It shall also come to pass, [that] at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:

lord <EZE38 -14> Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know [it]?

lord <EZE38 -17> Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; [Art] thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days [many] years that I would bring thee against them?

lord <EZE38 -18> And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the {Lord} GOD, [that] my fury shall come up in my face.

lord <EZE38 -21> And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the {Lord} GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother.

lord <EZE38 -23> Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I [am] the {LORD}.

lord <EZE39 -1> Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

lord <EZE39 -5> Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken [it], saith the {Lord} GOD.

lord <EZE39 -6> And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I [am] the {LORD}.

lord <EZE39 -7> So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not [let them] pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I [am] the {LORD}, the Holy One in Israel.

lord <EZE39 -8> Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the {Lord} GOD; this [is] the day whereof I have spoken.

lord <EZE39 -10> So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down [any] out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the {Lord} GOD.

lord <EZE39 -13> Yea, all the people of the land shall bury [them]; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the {Lord} GOD.

lord <EZE39 -17> And, thou son of man, thus saith the {Lord} GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, [even] a great

sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.

lord <EZE39 -20> Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the {Lord} GOD.

lord <EZE39 -22> So the house of Israel shall know that I [am] the {LORD} their God from that day and forward.

lord <EZE39 -25> Therefore thus saith the {Lord} GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;

lord <EZE39 -28> Then shall they know that I [am] the {LORD} their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.

lord <EZE39 -29> Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the {Lord} GOD.

lord <EZE40 -1> In the five and twentieth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth [day] of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was smitten, in the selfsame day the hand of the {LORD} was upon me, and brought me

thither.

lord <EZE40 -46> And the chamber whose prospect [is] toward the north [is] for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the altar: these [are] the sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi, which come near to the {LORD} to minister unto him.

lord <EZE41 -22> The altar of wood [was] three cubits high, and the length thereof two cubits; and the corners thereof, and the length thereof, and the walls thereof, [were] of wood: and he said unto me, This [is] the table that [is] before the {LORD}.

lord <EZE42 -13> Then said he unto me, The north chambers [and] the south chambers, which [are] before the separate place, they [be] holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the {LORD} shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the mo

st holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place [is] holy.

lord <EZE43 -4> And the glory of the {LORD} came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect [is] toward the east.

lord <EZE43 -5> So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the {LORD} filled the house.

lord <EZE43 -18> And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the {Lord} GOD; These [are] the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.

lord <EZE43 -19> And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the {Lord} GOD, a young bullock for a sin offering.

lord <EZE43 -24> And thou shalt offer them before the LORD, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up [for] a burnt offering unto the {LORD}.

lord <EZE43 -24> And thou shalt offer them before the {LORD}, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up [for] a burnt offering unto the LORD.

lord <EZE43 -27> And when these days are expired, it shall be, [that] upon the eighth day, and [so] forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the {Lord} GOD.

lord <EZE44 -2> Then said the {LORD} unto me; This gate shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter in by it; because the LORD, the God of Israel, hath entered in by it, therefore it shall be shut.

lord <EZE44 -2> Then said the LORD unto me; This gate shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter in by it; because the {LORD}, the God of Israel, hath entered in by it, therefore it shall be shut.

lord <EZE44 -3> It is] for the prince; the prince, he shall sit in it to eat bread before the {LORD}; he shall enter by the way of the porch of [that] gate, and shall go out by the way of the same.

lord <EZE44 -4> Then brought he me the way of the north gate before the house: and I looked, and, behold, the glory of the {LORD} filled the house of the LORD: and I fell upon my face.

lord <EZE44 -4> Then brought he me the way of the north gate before the house: and I looked, and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house of the {LORD}: and I fell upon my face.

lord <EZE44 -5> And the LORD said unto me, Son of man, mark well, and behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears all that I say unto thee concerning all the ordinances of the house of the {LORD}, and all the laws thereof; and mark well the entering

in of the house, with every going forth of the sanctuary.

lord <EZE44 -5> And the {LORD} said unto me, Son of man, mark well, and behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears all that I say unto thee concerning all the ordinances of the house of the LORD, and all the laws thereof; and mark well the entering

in of the house, with every going forth of the sanctuary.

lord <EZE44 -6> And thou shalt say to the rebellious, [even] to the house of Israel, Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; O ye house of Israel, let it suffice you of all your abominations,

lord <EZE44 -9> Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that [is] among the children of Israel.

lord <EZE44 -12> Because they ministered unto them before their idols, and caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquity; therefore have I lifted up mine hand against them, saith the {Lord} GOD, and they shall bear their iniquity.

lord <EZE44 -15> But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me the fat

and the blood, saith the {Lord} GOD:

lord <EZE44 -27> And in the day that he goeth into the sanctuary, unto the inner court, to minister in the sanctuary, he shall offer his sin offering, saith the {Lord} GOD.

lord <EZE45 -1> Moreover, when ye shall divide by lot the land for inheritance, ye shall offer an oblation unto the {LORD}, an holy portion of the land: the length [shall be] the length of five and twenty thousand [reeds], and the breadth [shall be] ten t

housand. This [shall be] holy in all the borders thereof round about.

lord <EZE45 -4> The holy [portion] of the land shall be for the priests the ministers of the sanctuary, which shall come near to minister unto the {LORD}: and it shall be a place for their houses, and an holy place for the sanctuary.

lord <EZE45 -9> Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; Let it suffice you, O princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute judgment and justice, take away your exactions from my people, saith the Lord GOD.

lord <EZE45 -9> Thus saith the Lord GOD; Let it suffice you, O princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute judgment and justice, take away your exactions from my people, saith the {Lord} GOD.

lord <EZE45 -15> And one lamb out of the flock, out of two hundred, out of the fat pastures of Israel; for a meat offering, and for a burnt offering, and for peace offerings, to make reconciliation for them, saith the {Lord} GOD.

lord <EZE45 -18> Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; In the first [month], in the first [day] of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish, and cleanse the sanctuary:

lord <EZE45 -23> And seven days of the feast he shall prepare a burnt offering to the {LORD}, seven bullocks and seven rams without blemish daily the seven days; and a kid of the goats daily [for] a sin offering.

lord <EZE46 -1> Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened.

lord <EZE46 -3> Likewise the people of the land shall worship at the door of this gate before the {LORD} in the sabbaths and in the new moons.

lord <EZE46 -4> And the burnt offering that the prince shall offer unto the {LORD} in the sabbath day [shall be] six lambs without blemish, and a ram without blemish.

lord <EZE46 -9> But when the people of the land shall come before the {LORD} in the solemn feasts, he that entereth in by the way of the north gate to worship shall go out by the way of the south gate; and he that entereth by the way of the south gate sha

ll go forth by the way of the north gate: he shall not return by the way of the gate whereby he came in, but shall go forth over against it.

lord <EZE46 -12> Now when the prince shall prepare a voluntary burnt offering or peace offerings voluntarily unto the {LORD}, [one] shall then open him the gate that looketh toward the east, and he shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings,

as he did on the sabbath day: then he shall go forth; and after his going forth [one] shall shut the gate.

lord <EZE46 -13> Thou shalt daily prepare a burnt offering unto the {LORD} [of] a lamb of the first year without blemish: thou shalt prepare it every morning.

lord <EZE46 -14> And thou shalt prepare a meat offering for it every morning, the sixth part of an ephah, and the third part of an hin of oil, to temper with the fine flour; a meat offering continually by a perpetual ordinance unto the {LORD}.

lord <EZE46 -16> Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; If the prince give a gift unto any of his sons, the inheritance thereof shall be his sons'; it [shall be] their possession by inheritance.

lord <EZE47 -13> Thus saith the {Lord} GOD; This [shall be] the border, whereby ye shall inherit the land according to the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph [shall have two] portions.

lord <EZE47 -23> And it shall come to pass, [that] in what tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give [him] his inheritance, saith the {Lord} GOD.

lord <EZE48 -9> The oblation that ye shall offer unto the {LORD} [shall be] of five and twenty thousand in length, and of ten thousand in breadth.

lord <EZE48 -10> And for them, [even] for the priests, shall be [this] holy oblation; toward the north five and twenty thousand [in length], and toward the west ten thousand in breadth, and toward the east ten thousand in breadth, and toward the south fiv

e and twenty thousand in length: and the sanctuary of the {LORD} shall be in the midst thereof.

lord <EZE48 -14> And they shall not sell of it, neither exchange, nor alienate the firstfruits of the land: for [it is] holy unto the {LORD}.

lord <EZE48 -29> This [is] the land which ye shall divide by lot unto the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these [are] their portions, saith the {Lord} GOD.

lord <EZE48 -35> It was] round about eighteen thousand [measures]: and the name of the city from [that] day [shall be], The {LORD} [is] there.

lord <DAN1 -2> And the {Lord} gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God: which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.

lord <DAN1 -10> And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my {lord} the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which [are] of your sort? then shall ye make [me] endan

ger my head to the king.

lord <DAN2 -10> The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can show the king's matter: therefore [there is] no king, {lord}, nor ruler, [that] asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.

lord <DAN2 -47> The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth [it is], that your God [is] a God of gods, and a {Lord} of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret.

lord <DAN4 -19> Then Daniel, whose name [was] Belteshazzar, was astonied for one hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spake, and said, Belteshazzar, let not the dream, or the interpretation thereof, trouble thee. Belteshazzar answered and said, M

y {lord}, the dream [be] to them that hate thee, and the interpretation thereof to thine enemies.

lord <DAN4 -24> This [is] the interpretation, O king, and this [is] the decree of the most High, which is come upon my {lord} the king:

lord <DAN5 -23> But hast lifted up thyself against the {Lord} of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver,

and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath [is], and whose [are] all thy ways, hast thou not glorified:

lord <DAN9 -2> In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the {LORD} came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.

lord <DAN9 -3> And I set my face unto the {Lord} God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:

lord <DAN9 -4> And I prayed unto the {LORD} my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;

lord <DAN9 -4> And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O {Lord}, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;

lord <DAN9 -7> O {Lord}, righteousness [belongeth] unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, [that are] near, and [that are] far off, through all the countries

whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.

lord <DAN9 -8> O {Lord}, to us [belongeth] confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee.

lord <DAN9 -9> To the {Lord} our God [belong] mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;

lord <DAN9 -10> Neither have we obeyed the voice of the {LORD} our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.

lord <DAN9 -13> As [it is] written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the {LORD} our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.

lord <DAN9 -14> Therefore hath the {LORD} watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the LORD our God [is] righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice.

lord <DAN9 -14> Therefore hath the LORD watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the {LORD} our God [is] righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice.

lord <DAN9 -15> And now, O {Lord} our God, that hast brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten thee renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.

lord <DAN9 -16> O {Lord}, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people [ar

e become] a reproach to all [that are] about us.

lord <DAN9 -19> O {Lord}, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.

lord <DAN9 -19> O Lord, hear; O {Lord}, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.

lord <DAN9 -19> O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O {Lord}, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.

lord <DAN9 -20> And whiles I [was] speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the {LORD} my God for the holy mountain of my God;

lord <DAN10 -16> And, behold, [one] like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my {lord}, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strengt

h.

lord <DAN10 -17> For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my {lord}? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.

lord <DAN10 -17> For how can the servant of this my {lord} talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.

lord <DAN10 -19> And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace [be] unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my {lord} speak; for thou hast strengthened me.

lord <DAN12 -8> And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my {Lord}, what [shall be] the end of these [things]?

lord <HOS1 -1> The word of the {LORD} that came unto Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, [and] Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.

lord <HOS1 -2> The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, [departing] from the {LORD}.

lord <HOS1 -2> The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the {LORD} said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, [departing] from the LORD.

lord <HOS1 -2> The beginning of the word of the {LORD} by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, [departing] from the LORD.

lord <HOS1 -4> And the {LORD} said unto him, Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little [while], and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and will cause to cease the kingdom of the house of Israel.

lord <HOS1 -7> But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the {LORD} their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.

lord <HOS2 -13> And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim, wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and she went after her lovers, and forgat me, saith the {LORD}.

lord <HOS2 -16> And it shall be at that day, saith the {LORD}, [that] thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali.

lord <HOS2 -20> I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the {LORD}.

lord <HOS2 -21> And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith the {LORD}, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth;

lord <HOS3 -1> Then said the LORD unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of [her] friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the {LORD} toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine.

lord <HOS3 -1> Then said the {LORD} unto me, Go yet, love a woman beloved of [her] friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD toward the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine.

lord <HOS3 -5> Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the {LORD} their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.

lord <HOS3 -5> Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the {LORD} and his goodness in the latter days.

lord <HOS4 -1> Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the {LORD} hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because [there is] no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.

lord <HOS4 -1> Hear the word of the {LORD}, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because [there is] no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.

lord <HOS4 -10> For they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not increase: because they have left off to take heed to the {LORD}.

lord <HOS4 -15> Though thou, Israel, play the harlot, [yet] let not Judah offend; and come not ye unto Gilgal, neither go ye up to Bethaven, nor swear, The {LORD} liveth.

lord <HOS4 -16> For Israel slideth back as a backsliding heifer: now the {LORD} will feed them as a lamb in a large place.

lord <HOS5 -4> They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms [is] in the midst of them, and they have not known the {LORD}.

lord <HOS5 -6> They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the {LORD}; but they shall not find [him]; he hath withdrawn himself from them.

lord <HOS5 -7> They have dealt treacherously against the {LORD}: for they have begotten strange children: now shall a month devour them with their portions.

lord <HOS6 -1> Come, and let us return unto the {LORD}: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

lord <HOS6 -3> Then shall we know, [if] we follow on to know the {LORD}: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter [and] former rain unto the earth.

lord <HOS7 -10> And the pride of Israel testifieth to his face: and they do not return to the {LORD} their God, nor seek him for all this.

lord <HOS8 -1> Set] the trumpet to thy mouth. [He shall come] as an eagle against the house of the {LORD}, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law.

lord <HOS8 -13> They sacrifice flesh [for] the sacrifices of mine offerings, and eat [it; but] the {LORD} accepteth them not; now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins: they shall return to Egypt.

lord <HOS9 -4> They shall not offer wine [offerings] to the {LORD}, neither shall they be pleasing unto him: their sacrifices [shall be] unto them as the bread of mourners; all that eat thereof shall be polluted: for their bread for their soul shall not c

ome into the house of the LORD.

lord <HOS9 -4> They shall not offer wine [offerings] to the LORD, neither shall they be pleasing unto him: their sacrifices [shall be] unto them as the bread of mourners; all that eat thereof shall be polluted: for their bread for their soul shall not com

e into the house of the {LORD}.

lord <HOS9 -5> What will ye do in the solemn day, and in the day of the feast of the {LORD}?

lord <HOS9 -14> Give them, O {LORD}: what wilt thou give? give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.

lord <HOS10 -3> For now they shall say, We have no king, because we feared not the {LORD}; what then should a king do to us?

lord <HOS10 -12> Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for [it is] time to seek the {LORD}, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

lord <HOS11 -10> They shall walk after the {LORD}: he shall roar like a lion: when he shall roar, then the children shall tremble from the west.

lord <HOS11 -11> They shall tremble as a bird out of Egypt, and as a dove out of the land of Assyria: and I will place them in their houses, saith the {LORD}.

lord <HOS12 -2> The {LORD} hath also a controversy with Judah, and will punish Jacob according to his ways; according to his doings will he recompense him.

lord <HOS12 -5> Even the {LORD} God of hosts; the LORD [is] his memorial.

lord <HOS12 -5> Even the LORD God of hosts; the {LORD} [is] his memorial.

lord <HOS12 -9> And I [that am] the {LORD} thy God from the land of Egypt will yet make thee to dwell in tabernacles, as in the days of the solemn feast.

lord <HOS12 -13> And by a prophet the {LORD} brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.

lord <HOS12 -14> Ephraim provoked [him] to anger most bitterly: therefore shall he leave his blood upon him, and his reproach shall his {Lord} return unto him.

lord <HOS13 -4> Yet I [am] the {LORD} thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for [there is] no saviour beside me.

lord <HOS13 -15> Though he be fruitful among [his] brethren, an east wind shall come, the wind of the {LORD} shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall spoil the treasure of all pleasan

t vessels.

lord <HOS14 -1> O Israel, return unto the {LORD} thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.

lord <HOS14 -2> Take with you words, and turn to the {LORD}: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive [us] graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.

lord <HOS14 -9> Who [is] wise, and he shall understand these [things]? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the {LORD} [are] right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.

lord <JOE1 -1> The word of the {LORD} that came to Joel the son of Pethuel.

lord <JOE1 -9> The meat offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of the {LORD}; the priests, the LORD'S ministers, mourn.

lord <JOE1 -14> Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders [and] all the inhabitants of the land [into] the house of the {LORD} your God, and cry unto the LORD.

lord <JOE1 -14> Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders [and] all the inhabitants of the land [into] the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the {LORD}.

lord <JOE1 -15> Alas for the day! for the day of the {LORD} [is] at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.

lord <JOE1 -19> O {LORD}, to thee will I cry: for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field.

lord <JOE2 -1> Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the {LORD} cometh, for [it is] nigh at hand;

lord <JOE2 -11> And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp [is] very great: for [he is] strong that executeth his word: for the day of the {LORD} [is] great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

lord <JOE2 -11> And the {LORD} shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp [is] very great: for [he is] strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD [is] great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

lord <JOE2 -12> Therefore also now, saith the {LORD}, turn ye [even] to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:

lord <JOE2 -13> And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the {LORD} your God: for he [is] gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

lord <JOE2 -14> Who knoweth [if] he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; [even] a meat offering and a drink offering unto the {LORD} your God?

lord <JOE2 -17> Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O {LORD}, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say amon

g the people, Where [is] their God?

lord <JOE2 -17> Let the priests, the ministers of the {LORD}, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say amon

g the people, Where [is] their God?

lord <JOE2 -18> Then will the {LORD} be jealous for his land, and pity his people.

lord <JOE2 -19> Yea, the {LORD} will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:

lord <JOE2 -21> Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the {LORD} will do great things.

lord <JOE2 -23> Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the {LORD} your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first [month].

lord <JOE2 -26> And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the {LORD} your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

lord <JOE2 -27> And ye shall know that I [am] in the midst of Israel, and [that] I [am] the {LORD} your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

lord <JOE2 -31> The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the {LORD} come.

lord <JOE2 -32> And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the {LORD} shall call.

lord <JOE2 -32> And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the {LORD} shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

lord <JOE2 -32> And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the {LORD} hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

lord <JOE3 -8> And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the {LORD} hath spoken [it].

lord <JOE3 -11> Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O {LORD}.

lord <JOE3 -14> Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the {LORD} [is] near in the valley of decision.

lord <JOE3 -16> The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the {LORD} [will be] the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.

lord <JOE3 -16> The {LORD} also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD [will be] the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.

lord <JOE3 -17> So shall ye know that I [am] the {LORD} your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.

lord <JOE3 -18> And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the {LORD}, and s

hall water the valley of Shittim.

lord <JOE3 -21> For I will cleanse their blood [that] I have not cleansed: for the {LORD} dwelleth in Zion.

lord <AMO1 -2> And he said, The {LORD} will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

lord <AMO1 -3> Thus saith the {LORD}; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment] thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron:

lord <AMO1 -5> I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the {LORD}.

lord <AMO1 -6> Thus saith the {LORD}; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment] thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver [them] up to Edom:

lord <AMO1 -8> And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the {Lord} GOD.

lord <AMO1 -9> Thus saith the {LORD}; For three transgressions of Tyrus, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment] thereof; because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant:

lord <AMO1 -11> Thus saith the {LORD}; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment] thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he k

ept his wrath for ever:

lord <AMO1 -13> Thus saith the {LORD}; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment] thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border:

lord <AMO1 -15> And their king shall go into captivity, he and his princes together, saith the {LORD}.

lord <AMO2 -1> Thus saith the {LORD}; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment] thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:

lord <AMO2 -3> And I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith the {LORD}.

lord <AMO2 -4> Thus saith the {LORD}; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment] thereof; because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, af

ter the which their fathers have walked:

lord <AMO2 -4> Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment] thereof; because they have despised the law of the {LORD}, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, af

ter the which their fathers have walked:

lord <AMO2 -6> Thus saith the {LORD}; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment] thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes;

lord <AMO2 -11> And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. [Is it] not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the {LORD}.

lord <AMO2 -16> And [he that is] courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith the {LORD}.

lord <AMO3 -1> Hear this word that the {LORD} hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,

lord <AMO3 -6> Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the {LORD} hath not done [it]?

lord <AMO3 -7> Surely the {Lord} GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

lord <AMO3 -8> The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the {Lord} GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?

lord <AMO3 -10> For they know not to do right, saith the {LORD}, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.

lord <AMO3 -11> Therefore thus saith the {Lord} GOD; An adversary [there shall be] even round about the land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be spoiled.

lord <AMO3 -12> Thus saith the {LORD}; As the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs, or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus [in] a couch.

lord <AMO3 -13> Hear ye, and testify in the house of Jacob, saith the {Lord} GOD, the God of hosts,

lord <AMO3 -15> And I will smite the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall have an end, saith the {LORD}.

lord <AMO4 -2> The {Lord} GOD hath sworn by his holiness, that, lo, the days shall come upon you, that he will take you away with hooks, and your posterity with fishhooks.

lord <AMO4 -3> And ye shall go out at the breaches, every [cow at that which is] before her; and ye shall cast [them] into the palace, saith the {LORD}.

lord <AMO4 -5> And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim [and] publish the free offerings: for this liketh you, O ye children of Israel, saith the {Lord} GOD.

lord <AMO4 -6> And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the {LORD}.

lord <AMO4 -8> So two [or] three cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the {LORD}.

lord <AMO4 -9> I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured [them]: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the {LORD}.

lord <AMO4 -10> I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned un

to me, saith the {LORD}.

lord <AMO4 -11> I have overthrown [some] of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the {LORD}.

lord <AMO4 -13> For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what [is] his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The {LORD}, The God of hosts, [is] his name.

lord <AMO5 -3> For thus saith the {Lord} GOD; The city that went out [by] a thousand shall leave an hundred, and that which went forth [by] an hundred shall leave ten, to the house of Israel.

lord <AMO5 -4> For thus saith the {LORD} unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:

lord <AMO5 -6> Seek the {LORD}, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour [it], and [there be] none to quench [it] in Bethel.

lord <AMO5 -8> Seek him] that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The {LORD} [is]

his name:

lord <AMO5 -14> Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the {LORD}, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.

lord <AMO5 -15> Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the {LORD} God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

lord <AMO5 -16> Therefore the LORD, the God of hosts, the {Lord}, saith thus; Wailing [shall be] in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to

wailing.

lord <AMO5 -16> Therefore the {LORD}, the God of hosts, the Lord, saith thus; Wailing [shall be] in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to

wailing.

lord <AMO5 -17> And in all vineyards [shall be] wailing: for I will pass through thee, saith the {LORD}.

lord <AMO5 -18> Woe unto you that desire the day of the {LORD}! to what end [is] it for you? the day of the LORD [is] darkness, and not light.

lord <AMO5 -18> Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end [is] it for you? the day of the {LORD} [is] darkness, and not light.

lord <AMO5 -20> Shall] not the day of the {LORD} [be] darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

lord <AMO5 -27> Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the {LORD}, whose name [is] The God of hosts.

lord <AMO6 -8> The {Lord} GOD hath sworn by himself, saith the LORD the God of hosts, I abhor the excellency of Jacob, and hate his palaces: therefore will I deliver up the city with all that is therein.

lord <AMO6 -8> The Lord GOD hath sworn by himself, saith the {LORD} the God of hosts, I abhor the excellency of Jacob, and hate his palaces: therefore will I deliver up the city with all that is therein.

lord <AMO6 -10> And a man's uncle shall take him up, and he that burneth him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say unto him that [is] by the sides of the house, [Is there] yet [any] with thee? and he shall say, No. Then shall he say, Hol

d thy tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the {LORD}.

lord <AMO6 -11> For, behold, the {LORD} commandeth, and he will smite the great house with breaches, and the little house with clefts.

lord <AMO6 -14> But, behold, I will raise up against you a nation, O house of Israel, saith the {LORD} the God of hosts; and they shall afflict you from the entering in of Hemath unto the river of the wilderness.

lord <AMO7 -1> Thus hath the {Lord} GOD showed unto me; and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, [it was] the latter growth after the king's mowings.

lord <AMO7 -2> And it came to pass, [that] when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O {Lord} GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he [is] small.

lord <AMO7 -3> The {LORD} repented for this: It shall not be, saith the LORD.

lord <AMO7 -3> The LORD repented for this: It shall not be, saith the {LORD}.

lord <AMO7 -4> Thus hath the {Lord} GOD showed unto me: and, behold, the Lord GOD called to contend by fire, and it devoured the great deep, and did eat up a part.

lord <AMO7 -4> Thus hath the Lord GOD showed unto me: and, behold, the {Lord} GOD called to contend by fire, and it devoured the great deep, and did eat up a part.

lord <AMO7 -5> Then said I, O {Lord} GOD, cease, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he [is] small.

lord <AMO7 -6> The LORD repented for this: This also shall not be, saith the {Lord} GOD.

lord <AMO7 -6> The {LORD} repented for this: This also shall not be, saith the Lord GOD.

lord <AMO7 -7> Thus he showed me: and, behold, the {Lord} stood upon a wall [made] by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand.

lord <AMO7 -8> And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the {Lord}, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:

lord <AMO7 -8> And the {LORD} said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:

lord <AMO7 -15> And the {LORD} took me as I followed the flock, and the LORD said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.

lord <AMO7 -15> And the LORD took me as I followed the flock, and the {LORD} said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.

lord <AMO7 -16> Now therefore hear thou the word of the {LORD}: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not [thy word] against the house of Isaac.

lord <AMO7 -17> Therefore thus saith the {LORD}; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into

 captivity forth of his land.

lord <AMO8 -1> Thus hath the {Lord} GOD showed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit.

lord <AMO8 -2> And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the {LORD} unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.

lord <AMO8 -3> And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the {Lord} GOD: [there shall be] many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast [them] forth with silence.

lord <AMO8 -7> The {LORD} hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works.

lord <AMO8 -9> And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the {Lord} GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:

lord <AMO8 -11> Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the {LORD}:

lord <AMO8 -11> Behold, the days come, saith the {Lord} GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

lord <AMO8 -12> And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the {LORD}, and shall not find [it].

lord <AMO9 -1> I saw the {Lord} standing upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that fleeth of them shall not flee awa

y, and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered.

lord <AMO9 -5> And the {Lord} GOD of hosts [is] he that toucheth the land, and it shall melt, and all that dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood; and shall be drowned, as [by] the flood of Egypt.

lord <AMO9 -6> It is] he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The {LORD} [is] his name.

lord <AMO9 -7> Are] ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the {LORD}. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?

lord <AMO9 -8> Behold, the eyes of the {Lord} GOD [are] upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD.

lord <AMO9 -8> Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD [are] upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the {LORD}.

lord <AMO9 -12> That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the {LORD} that doeth this.

lord <AMO9 -13> Behold, the days come, saith the {LORD}, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.

lord <AMO9 -15> And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the {LORD} thy God.

lord <OBA1 -1> The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the {LORD}, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle.

lord <OBA1 -1> The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the {Lord} GOD concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle.

lord <OBA1 -4> Though thou exalt [thyself] as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the {LORD}.

lord <OBA1 -8> Shall I not in that day, saith the {LORD}, even destroy the wise [men] out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau?

lord <OBA1 -15> For the day of the {LORD} [is] near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.

lord <OBA1 -18> And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be [any] remaining of the house of Esau; for the {LORD} hath sp

oken [it].

lord <JON1 -1> Now the word of the {LORD} came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,

lord <JON1 -3> But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the {LORD}, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of t

he LORD.

lord <JON1 -3> But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the

 {LORD}.

lord <JON1 -4> But the {LORD} sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken.

lord <JON1 -9> And he said unto them, I [am] an Hebrew; and I fear the {LORD}, the God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry [land].

lord <JON1 -10> Then were the men exceedingly afraid, and said unto him, Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the {LORD}, because he had told them.

lord <JON1 -14> Wherefore they cried unto the {LORD}, and said, We beseech thee, O LORD, we beseech thee, let us not perish for this man's life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for thou, O LORD, hast done as it pleased thee.

lord <JON1 -14> Wherefore they cried unto the LORD, and said, We beseech thee, O LORD, we beseech thee, let us not perish for this man's life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for thou, O {LORD}, hast done as it pleased thee.

lord <JON1 -14> Wherefore they cried unto the LORD, and said, We beseech thee, O {LORD}, we beseech thee, let us not perish for this man's life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for thou, O LORD, hast done as it pleased thee.

lord <JON1 -16> Then the men feared the {LORD} exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice unto the LORD, and made vows.

lord <JON1 -16> Then the men feared the LORD exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice unto the {LORD}, and made vows.

lord <JON1 -17> Now the {LORD} had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

lord <JON2 -1> Then Jonah prayed unto the {LORD} his God out of the fish's belly,

lord <JON2 -2> And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the {LORD}, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, [and] thou heardest my voice.

lord <JON2 -6> I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars [was] about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O {LORD} my God.

lord <JON2 -7> When my soul fainted within me I remembered the {LORD}: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.

lord <JON2 -9> But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay [that] that I have vowed. Salvation [is] of the {LORD}.

lord <JON2 -10> And the {LORD} spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry [land].

lord <JON3 -1> And the word of the {LORD} came unto Jonah the second time, saying,

lord <JON3 -3> So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the {LORD}. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey.

lord <JON4 -2> And he prayed unto the LORD, and said, I pray thee, O {LORD}, [was] not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou [art] a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of grea

t kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.

lord <JON4 -2> And he prayed unto the {LORD}, and said, I pray thee, O LORD, [was] not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou [art] a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of grea

t kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.

lord <JON4 -3> Therefore now, O {LORD}, take, I beseech thee, my life from me; for [it is] better for me to die than to live.

lord <JON4 -4> Then said the {LORD}, Doest thou well to be angry?

lord <JON4 -6> And the {LORD} God prepared a gourd, and made [it] to come up over Jonah, that it might be a shadow over his head, to deliver him from his grief. So Jonah was exceeding glad of the gourd.

lord <JON4 -10> Then said the {LORD}, Thou hast had pity on the gourd, for the which thou hast not laboured, neither madest it grow; which came up in a night, and perished in a night:

lord <MIC1 -1> The word of the {LORD} that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, [and] Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.

lord <MIC1 -2> Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the {Lord} from his holy temple.

lord <MIC1 -2> Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the {Lord} GOD be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.

lord <MIC1 -3> For, behold, the {LORD} cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.

lord <MIC1 -12> For the inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the {LORD} unto the gate of Jerusalem.

lord <MIC2 -3> Therefore thus saith the {LORD}; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time [is] evil.

lord <MIC2 -5> Therefore thou shalt have none that shall cast a cord by lot in the congregation of the {LORD}.

lord <MIC2 -7> O [thou that art] named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the {LORD} straitened? [are] these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?

lord <MIC2 -13> The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the {LORD} on the head of them.

lord <MIC3 -4> Then shall they cry unto the {LORD}, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings.

lord <MIC3 -5> Thus saith the {LORD} concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.

lord <MIC3 -8> But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the {LORD}, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.

lord <MIC3 -11> The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the {LORD}, and say, [Is] not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.

lord <MIC3 -11> The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, [Is] not the {LORD} among us? none evil can come upon us.

lord <MIC4 -1> But in the last days it shall come to pass, [that] the mountain of the house of the {LORD} shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.

lord <MIC4 -2> And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the {LORD}, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the w

ord of the LORD from Jerusalem.

lord <MIC4 -2> And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the wor

d of the {LORD} from Jerusalem.

lord <MIC4 -4> But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make [them] afraid: for the mouth of the {LORD} of hosts hath spoken [it].

lord <MIC4 -5> For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the {LORD} our God for ever and ever.

lord <MIC4 -6> In that day, saith the {LORD}, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted;

lord <MIC4 -7> And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the {LORD} shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.

lord <MIC4 -10> Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go [even] to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there t

he {LORD} shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.

lord <MIC4 -12> But they know not the thoughts of the {LORD}, neither understand they his counsel: for he shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor.

lord <MIC4 -13> Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the {LORD}, and their substance unto the Lord of the w

hole earth.

lord <MIC4 -13> Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the {Lord} of the w

hole earth.

lord <MIC5 -4> And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the {LORD}, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.

lord <MIC5 -4> And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the {LORD} his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.

lord <MIC5 -7> And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from the {LORD}, as the showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man, nor waiteth for the sons of men.

lord <MIC5 -10> And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the {LORD}, that I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee, and I will destroy thy chariots:

lord <MIC6 -1> Hear ye now what the {LORD} saith; Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice.

lord <MIC6 -2> Hear ye, O mountains, the LORD'S controversy, and ye strong foundations of the earth: for the {LORD} hath a controversy with his people, and he will plead with Israel.

lord <MIC6 -5> O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal; that ye may know the righteousness of the {LORD}.

lord <MIC6 -6> Wherewith shall I come before the {LORD}, [and] bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?

lord <MIC6 -7> Will the {LORD} be pleased with thousands of rams, [or] with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn [for] my transgression, the fruit of my body [for] the sin of my soul?

lord <MIC6 -8> He hath showed thee, O man, what [is] good; and what doth the {LORD} require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

lord <MIC7 -7> Therefore I will look unto the {LORD}; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

lord <MIC7 -8> Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the {LORD} [shall be] a light unto me.

lord <MIC7 -9> I will bear the indignation of the {LORD}, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, [and] I shall behold his righteousness.

lord <MIC7 -10> Then [she that is] mine enemy shall see [it], and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the {LORD} thy God? mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.

lord <MIC7 -17> They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the {LORD} our God, and shall fear because of thee.

lord <NAH1 -2> God [is] jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the {LORD} revengeth, and [is] furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth [wrath] for his enemies.

lord <NAH1 -2> God [is] jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and [is] furious; the {LORD} will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth [wrath] for his enemies.

lord <NAH1 -2> God [is] jealous, and the {LORD} revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and [is] furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth [wrath] for his enemies.

lord <NAH1 -3> The {LORD} [is] slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit [the wicked]: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds [are] the dust of his feet.

lord <NAH1 -3> The LORD [is] slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit [the wicked]: the {LORD} hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds [are] the dust of his feet.

lord <NAH1 -7> The {LORD} [is] good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

lord <NAH1 -9> What do ye imagine against the {LORD}? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.

lord <NAH1 -11> There is [one] come out of thee, that imagineth evil against the {LORD}, a wicked counsellor.

lord <NAH1 -12> Thus saith the {LORD}; Though [they be] quiet, and likewise many, yet thus shall they be cut down, when he shall pass through. Though I have afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no more.

lord <NAH1 -14> And the {LORD} hath given a commandment concerning thee, [that] no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image: I will make thy grave; for thou art vile.

lord <NAH2 -2> For the {LORD} hath turned away the excellency of Jacob, as the excellency of Israel: for the emptiers have emptied them out, and marred their vine branches.

lord <NAH2 -13> Behold, I [am] against thee, saith the {LORD} of hosts, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour thy young lions: and I will cut off thy prey from the earth, and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be hea

rd.

lord <NAH3 -5> Behold, I [am] against thee, saith the {LORD} of hosts; and I will discover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will show the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame.

lord <HAB1 -2> O {LORD}, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! [even] cry out unto thee [of] violence, and thou wilt not save!

lord <HAB1 -12> Art] thou not from everlasting, O LORD my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O {LORD}, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.

lord <HAB1 -12> Art] thou not from everlasting, O {LORD} my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O LORD, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.

lord <HAB2 -2> And the {LORD} answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make [it] plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

lord <HAB2 -13> Behold, [is it] not of the {LORD} of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity?

lord <HAB2 -14> For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the {LORD}, as the waters cover the sea.

lord <HAB2 -20> But the {LORD} [is] in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.

lord <HAB3 -2> O LORD, I have heard thy speech, [and] was afraid: O {LORD}, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.

lord <HAB3 -2> O {LORD}, I have heard thy speech, [and] was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.

lord <HAB3 -8> Was the {LORD} displeased against the rivers? [was] thine anger against the rivers? [was] thy wrath against the sea, that thou didst ride upon thine horses [and] thy chariots of salvation?

lord <HAB3 -18> Yet I will rejoice in the {LORD}, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

lord <HAB3 -19> The {LORD} God [is] my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' [feet], and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

lord <ZEP1 -1> The word of the {LORD} which came unto Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hizkiah, in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah.

lord <ZEP1 -2> I will utterly consume all [things] from off the land, saith the {LORD}.

lord <ZEP1 -3> I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumblingblocks with the wicked; and I will cut off man from off the land, saith the {LORD}.

lord <ZEP1 -5> And them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship [and] that swear by the {LORD}, and that swear by Malcham;

lord <ZEP1 -6> And them that are turned back from the LORD; and [those] that have not sought the {LORD}, nor inquired for him.

lord <ZEP1 -6> And them that are turned back from the {LORD}; and [those] that have not sought the LORD, nor inquired for him.

lord <ZEP1 -7> Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the {LORD} [is] at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.

lord <ZEP1 -7> Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD [is] at hand: for the {LORD} hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.

lord <ZEP1 -7> Hold thy peace at the presence of the {Lord} GOD: for the day of the LORD [is] at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.

lord <ZEP1 -10> And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the {LORD}, [that there shall be] the noise of a cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the hills.

lord <ZEP1 -12> And it shall come to pass at that time, [that] I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The {LORD} will not do good, neither will he do evil.

lord <ZEP1 -14> The great day of the {LORD} [is] near, [it is] near, and hasteth greatly, [even] the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.

lord <ZEP1 -14> The great day of the LORD [is] near, [it is] near, and hasteth greatly, [even] the voice of the day of the {LORD}: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.

lord <ZEP1 -17> And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the {LORD}: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.

lord <ZEP2 -2> Before the decree bring forth, [before] the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the {LORD} come upon you, before the day of the LORD'S anger come upon you.

lord <ZEP2 -3> Seek ye the {LORD}, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.

lord <ZEP2 -5> Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation of the Cherethites! the word of the {LORD} [is] against you; O Canaan, the land of the Philistines, I will even destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant.

lord <ZEP2 -7> And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed thereupon: in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening: for the {LORD} their God shall visit them, and turn away their captivity.

lord <ZEP2 -9> Therefore [as] I live, saith the {LORD} of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, [even] the breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people sh

all spoil them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them.

lord <ZEP2 -10> This shall they have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified [themselves] against the people of the {LORD} of hosts.

lord <ZEP2 -11> The {LORD} [will be] terrible unto them: for he will famish all the gods of the earth; and [men] shall worship him, every one from his place, [even] all the isles of the heathen.

lord <ZEP3 -2> She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in the {LORD}; she drew not near to her God.

lord <ZEP3 -5> The just {LORD} [is] in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.

lord <ZEP3 -8> Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the {LORD}, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination [is] to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, [even] all my fierce anger: for al

l the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

lord <ZEP3 -9> For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the {LORD}, to serve him with one consent.

lord <ZEP3 -12> I will also leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of the {LORD}.

lord <ZEP3 -15> The {LORD} hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, [even] the LORD, [is] in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.

lord <ZEP3 -15> The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, [even] the {LORD}, [is] in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.

lord <ZEP3 -17> The {LORD} thy God in the midst of thee [is] mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

lord <ZEP3 -20> At that time will I bring you [again], even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the {LORD}.

lord <HAG1 -1> In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the {LORD} by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high

 priest, saying,

lord <HAG1 -2> Thus speaketh the {LORD} of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD'S house should be built.

lord <HAG1 -3> Then came the word of the {LORD} by Haggai the prophet, saying,

lord <HAG1 -5> Now therefore thus saith the {LORD} of hosts; Consider your ways.

lord <HAG1 -7> Thus saith the {LORD} of hosts; Consider your ways.

lord <HAG1 -8> Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the {LORD}.

lord <HAG1 -9> Ye looked for much, and, lo, [it came] to little; and when ye brought [it] home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the {LORD} of hosts. Because of mine house that [is] waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.

lord <HAG1 -12> Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him, and

the people did fear before the {LORD}.

lord <HAG1 -12> Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the {LORD} their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him, a

nd the people did fear before the LORD.

lord <HAG1 -12> Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the {LORD} their God had sent him, a

nd the people did fear before the LORD.

lord <HAG1 -13> Then spake Haggai the LORD'S messenger in the LORD'S message unto the people, saying, I [am] with you, saith the {LORD}.

lord <HAG1 -14> And the {LORD} stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the h

ouse of the LORD of hosts, their God,

lord <HAG1 -14> And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the hou

se of the {LORD} of hosts, their God,

lord <HAG2 -1> In the seventh [month], in the one and twentieth [day] of the month, came the word of the {LORD} by the prophet Haggai, saying,

lord <HAG2 -4> Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the {LORD}; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I [am] with you, saith the LORD of hosts:

lord <HAG2 -4> Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the {LORD}, and work: for I [am] with you, saith the LORD of hosts:

lord <HAG2 -4> Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I [am] with you, saith the {LORD} of hosts:

lord <HAG2 -6> For thus saith the {LORD} of hosts; Yet once, it [is] a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry [land];

lord <HAG2 -7> And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the {LORD} of hosts.

lord <HAG2 -8> The silver [is] mine, and the gold [is] mine, saith the {LORD} of hosts.

lord <HAG2 -9> The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the {LORD} of hosts.

lord <HAG2 -9> The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the {LORD} of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.

lord <HAG2 -10> In the four and twentieth [day] of the ninth [month], in the second year of Darius, came the word of the {LORD} by Haggai the prophet, saying,

lord <HAG2 -11> Thus saith the {LORD} of hosts; Ask now the priests [concerning] the law, saying,

lord <HAG2 -14> Then answered Haggai, and said, So [is] this people, and so [is] this nation before me, saith the {LORD}; and so [is] every work of their hands; and that which they offer there [is] unclean.

lord <HAG2 -15> And now, I pray you, consider from this day and upward, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the {LORD}:

lord <HAG2 -17> I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye [turned] not to me, saith the {LORD}.

lord <HAG2 -20> And again the word of the {LORD} came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth [day] of the month, saying,

lord <HAG2 -23> In that day, saith the {LORD} of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts.

lord <HAG2 -23> In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the {LORD} of hosts.

lord <HAG2 -23> In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith the {LORD}, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee, saith the LORD of hosts.

lord <ZEC1 -1> In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the {LORD} unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,

lord <ZEC1 -2> The {LORD} hath been sore displeased with your fathers.

lord <ZEC1 -3> Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the {LORD} of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.

lord <ZEC1 -3> Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the {LORD} of hosts.

lord <ZEC1 -3> Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the {LORD} of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.

lord <ZEC1 -4> Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the {LORD} of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and [from] your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the LORD.

lord <ZEC1 -4> Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and [from] your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the {LORD}.

lord <ZEC1 -6> But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers? and they returned and said, Like as the {LORD} of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doi

ngs, so hath he dealt with us.

lord <ZEC1 -7> Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh month, which [is] the month Sebat, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the {LORD} unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, the son of Iddo the prophet, saying,

lord <ZEC1 -9> Then said I, O my {lord}, what [are] these? And the angel that talked with me said unto me, I will show thee what these [be].

lord <ZEC1 -10> And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These [are they] whom the {LORD} hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.

lord <ZEC1 -11> And they answered the angel of the {LORD} that stood among the myrtle trees, and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.

lord <ZEC1 -12> Then the angel of the LORD answered and said, O {LORD} of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years?

lord <ZEC1 -12> Then the angel of the {LORD} answered and said, O LORD of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years?

lord <ZEC1 -13> And the {LORD} answered the angel that talked with me [with] good words [and] comfortable words.

lord <ZEC1 -14> So the angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the {LORD} of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.

lord <ZEC1 -16> Therefore thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the {LORD} of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.

lord <ZEC1 -16> Therefore thus saith the {LORD}; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.

lord <ZEC1 -17> Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the {LORD} of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.

lord <ZEC1 -17> Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the {LORD} shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.

lord <ZEC1 -20> And the {LORD} showed me four carpenters.

lord <ZEC2 -5> For I, saith the {LORD}, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

lord <ZEC2 -6> Ho, ho, [come forth], and flee from the land of the north, saith the {LORD}: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.

lord <ZEC2 -6> Ho, ho, [come forth], and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the {LORD}.

lord <ZEC2 -8> For thus saith the {LORD} of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

lord <ZEC2 -9> For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the {LORD} of hosts hath sent me.

lord <ZEC2 -10> Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the {LORD}.

lord <ZEC2 -11> And many nations shall be joined to the {LORD} in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.

lord <ZEC2 -11> And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the {LORD} of hosts hath sent me unto thee.

lord <ZEC2 -12> And the {LORD} shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.

lord <ZEC2 -13> Be silent, O all flesh, before the {LORD}: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.

lord <ZEC3 -1> And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the {LORD}, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.

lord <ZEC3 -2> And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the {LORD} that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: [is] not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

lord <ZEC3 -2> And the {LORD} said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: [is] not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

lord <ZEC3 -2> And the LORD said unto Satan, The {LORD} rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: [is] not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

lord <ZEC3 -5> And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the {LORD} stood by.

lord <ZEC3 -6> And the angel of the {LORD} protested unto Joshua, saying,

lord <ZEC3 -7> Thus saith the {LORD} of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.

lord <ZEC3 -9> For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone [shall be] seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the {LORD} of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

lord <ZEC3 -10> In that day, saith the {LORD} of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.

lord <ZEC4 -4> So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What [are] these, my {lord}?

lord <ZEC4 -5> Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my {lord}.

lord <ZEC4 -6> Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This [is] the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the {LORD} of hosts.

lord <ZEC4 -6> Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This [is] the word of the {LORD} unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

lord <ZEC4 -8> Moreover the word of the {LORD} came unto me, saying,

lord <ZEC4 -9> The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the {LORD} of hosts hath sent me unto you.

lord <ZEC4 -10> For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel [with] those seven; they [are] the eyes of the {LORD}, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

lord <ZEC4 -13> And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these [be]? And I said, No, my {lord}.

lord <ZEC4 -14> Then said he, These [are] the two anointed ones, that stand by the {Lord} of the whole earth.

lord <ZEC5 -4> I will bring it forth, saith the {LORD} of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timbe

r thereof and the stones thereof.

lord <ZEC6 -4> Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What [are] these, my {lord}?

lord <ZEC6 -5> And the angel answered and said unto me, These [are] the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the {Lord} of all the earth.

lord <ZEC6 -9> And the word of the {LORD} came unto me, saying,

lord <ZEC6 -12> And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the {LORD} of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name [is] The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:

lord <ZEC6 -12> And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name [is] The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the {LORD}:

lord <ZEC6 -13> Even he shall build the temple of the {LORD}; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

lord <ZEC6 -14> And the crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of the {LORD}.

lord <ZEC6 -15> And they [that are] far off shall come and build in the temple of the {LORD}, and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. And [this] shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God.

lord <ZEC6 -15> And they [that are] far off shall come and build in the temple of the LORD, and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. And [this] shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of the {LORD} your God.

lord <ZEC6 -15> And they [that are] far off shall come and build in the temple of the LORD, and ye shall know that the {LORD} of hosts hath sent me unto you. And [this] shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God.

lord <ZEC7 -1> And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, [that] the word of the {LORD} came unto Zechariah in the fourth [day] of the ninth month, [even] in Chisleu;

lord <ZEC7 -2> When they had sent unto the house of God Sherezer and Regemmelech, and their men, to pray before the {LORD},

lord <ZEC7 -3> And] to speak unto the priests which [were] in the house of the {LORD} of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?

lord <ZEC7 -4> Then came the word of the {LORD} of hosts unto me, saying,

lord <ZEC7 -7> Should ye] not [hear] the words which the {LORD} hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when [men] inhabited the south and the plain?

lord <ZEC7 -8> And the word of the {LORD} came unto Zechariah, saying,

lord <ZEC7 -9> Thus speaketh the {LORD} of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and show mercy and compassions every man to his brother:

lord <ZEC7 -12> Yea, they made their hearts [as] an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the {LORD} of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts.

lord <ZEC7 -12> Yea, they made their hearts [as] an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the {LORD} of hosts.

lord <ZEC7 -13> Therefore it is come to pass, [that] as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the {LORD} of hosts:

lord <ZEC8 -1> Again the word of the {LORD} of hosts came [to me], saying,

lord <ZEC8 -2> Thus saith the {LORD} of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury.

lord <ZEC8 -3> Thus saith the {LORD}; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.

lord <ZEC8 -3> Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the {LORD} of hosts the holy mountain.

lord <ZEC8 -4> Thus saith the {LORD} of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age.

lord <ZEC8 -6> Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith the {LORD} of hosts.

lord <ZEC8 -6> Thus saith the {LORD} of hosts; If it be marvellous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in these days, should it also be marvellous in mine eyes? saith the LORD of hosts.

lord <ZEC8 -7> Thus saith the {LORD} of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country;

lord <ZEC8 -9> Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which [were] in the day [that] the foundation of the house of the {LORD} of hosts was laid, that the temple might b

e built.

lord <ZEC8 -9> Thus saith the {LORD} of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which [were] in the day [that] the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple might b

e built.

lord <ZEC8 -11> But now I [will] not [be] unto the residue of this people as in the former days, saith the {LORD} of hosts.

lord <ZEC8 -14> For thus saith the LORD of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the {LORD} of hosts, and I repented not:

lord <ZEC8 -14> For thus saith the {LORD} of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the LORD of hosts, and I repented not:

lord <ZEC8 -17> And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these [are things] that I hate, saith the {LORD}.

lord <ZEC8 -18> And the word of the {LORD} of hosts came unto me, saying,

lord <ZEC8 -19> Thus saith the {LORD} of hosts; The fast of the fourth [month], and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the tru

th and peace.

lord <ZEC8 -20> Thus saith the {LORD} of hosts; [It shall] yet [come to pass], that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities:

lord <ZEC8 -21> And the inhabitants of one [city] shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD, and to seek the {LORD} of hosts: I will go also.

lord <ZEC8 -21> And the inhabitants of one [city] shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the {LORD}, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also.

lord <ZEC8 -22> Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the {LORD}.

lord <ZEC8 -22> Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the {LORD} of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD.

lord <ZEC8 -23> Thus saith the {LORD} of hosts; In those days [it shall come to pass], that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard

 [that] God [is] with you.

lord <ZEC9 -1> The burden of the word of the {LORD} in the land of Hadrach, and Damascus [shall be] the rest thereof: when the eyes of man, as of all the tribes of Israel, [shall be] toward the LORD.

lord <ZEC9 -1> The burden of the word of the LORD in the land of Hadrach, and Damascus [shall be] the rest thereof: when the eyes of man, as of all the tribes of Israel, [shall be] toward the {LORD}.

lord <ZEC9 -4> Behold, the {Lord} will cast her out, and he will smite her power in the sea; and she shall be devoured with fire.

lord <ZEC9 -14> And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the {Lord} GOD shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south.

lord <ZEC9 -14> And the {LORD} shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the Lord GOD shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south.

lord <ZEC9 -15> The {LORD} of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, [and] make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, [and] as the corners of the altar.

lord <ZEC9 -16> And the {LORD} their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they [shall be as] the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land.

lord <ZEC10 -1> Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; [so] the {LORD} shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.

lord <ZEC10 -1> Ask ye of the {LORD} rain in the time of the latter rain; [so] the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.

lord <ZEC10 -3> Mine anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: for the {LORD} of hosts hath visited his flock the house of Judah, and hath made them as his goodly horse in the battle.

lord <ZEC10 -5> And they shall be as mighty [men], which tread down [their enemies] in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the {LORD} [is] with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.

lord <ZEC10 -6> And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I [am] the {LORD} their God, and

 will hear them.

lord <ZEC10 -7> And [they of] Ephraim shall be like a mighty [man], and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see [it], and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the {LORD}.

lord <ZEC10 -12> And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the {LORD}.

lord <ZEC10 -12> And I will strengthen them in the {LORD}; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the LORD.

lord <ZEC11 -4> Thus saith the {LORD} my God; Feed the flock of the slaughter;

lord <ZEC11 -5> Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed [be] the {LORD}; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.

lord <ZEC11 -6> For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the {LORD}: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbour's hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deli

ver [them].

lord <ZEC11 -11> And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it [was] the word of the {LORD}.

lord <ZEC11 -13> And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty [pieces] of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the {LORD}.

lord <ZEC11 -13> And the {LORD} said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty [pieces] of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.

lord <ZEC11 -15> And the {LORD} said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.

lord <ZEC12 -1> The burden of the word of the {LORD} for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.

lord <ZEC12 -1> The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the {LORD}, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.

lord <ZEC12 -4> In that day, saith the {LORD}, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.

lord <ZEC12 -5> And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem [shall be] my strength in the {LORD} of hosts their God.

lord <ZEC12 -7> The {LORD} also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify [themselves] against Judah.

lord <ZEC12 -8> In that day shall the {LORD} defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David [shall be] as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.

lord <ZEC12 -8> In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David [shall be] as God, as the angel of the {LORD} before them.

lord <ZEC13 -2> And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the {LORD} of hosts, [that] I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of

the land.

lord <ZEC13 -3> And it shall come to pass, [that] when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the {LORD}: and his father and his mother that bega

t him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.

lord <ZEC13 -7> Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man [that is] my fellow, saith the {LORD} of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

lord <ZEC13 -8> And it shall come to pass, [that] in all the land, saith the {LORD}, two parts therein shall be cut off [and] die; but the third shall be left therein.

lord <ZEC13 -9> And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It [is] my people: and they shall say, The {LORD

} [is] my God.

lord <ZEC14 -1> Behold, the day of the {LORD} cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

lord <ZEC14 -3> Then shall the {LORD} go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

lord <ZEC14 -5> And ye shall flee [to] the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the {LORD} my God shall come

, [and] all the saints with thee.

lord <ZEC14 -7> But it shall be one day which shall be known to the {LORD}, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, [that] at evening time it shall be light.

lord <ZEC14 -9> And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one {LORD}, and his name one.

lord <ZEC14 -9> And the {LORD} shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

lord <ZEC14 -12> And this shall be the plague wherewith the {LORD} will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their t

ongue shall consume away in their mouth.

lord <ZEC14 -13> And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] a great tumult from the {LORD} shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.

lord <ZEC14 -16> And it shall come to pass, [that] every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the {LORD} of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

lord <ZEC14 -17> And it shall be, [that] whoso will not come up of [all] the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the {LORD} of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

lord <ZEC14 -18> And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that [have] no [rain]; there shall be the plague, wherewith the {LORD} will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

lord <ZEC14 -20> In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE {LORD}; and the pots in the LORD'S house shall be like the bowls before the altar.

lord <ZEC14 -21> Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the {LORD

} of hosts.

lord <ZEC14 -21> Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the {LORD} of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the LOR

D of hosts.

lord <MAL1 -1> The burden of the word of the {LORD} to Israel by Malachi.

lord <MAL1 -2> I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? [Was] not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the {LORD}: yet I loved Jacob,

lord <MAL1 -2> I have loved you, saith the {LORD}. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? [Was] not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,

lord <MAL1 -4> Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the {LORD} of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against

whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.

lord <MAL1 -4> Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against wh

om the {LORD} hath indignation for ever.

lord <MAL1 -5> And your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, The {LORD} will be magnified from the border of Israel.

lord <MAL1 -6> A son honoureth [his] father, and a servant his master: if then I [be] a father, where [is] mine honour? and if I [be] a master, where [is] my fear? saith the {LORD} of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein ha

ve we despised thy name?

lord <MAL1 -7> Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the {LORD} [is] contemptible.

lord <MAL1 -8> And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, [is it] not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, [is it] not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the {LORD} of hosts.

lord <MAL1 -9> And now, I pray you, beseech God that he will be gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard your persons? saith the {LORD} of hosts.

lord <MAL1 -10> Who [is there] even among you that would shut the doors [for nought]? neither do ye kindle [fire] on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the {LORD} of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.

lord <MAL1 -11> For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name [shall be] great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense [shall be] offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name [shall be] great among the heathe

n, saith the {LORD} of hosts.

lord <MAL1 -12> But ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of the {LORD} [is] polluted; and the fruit thereof, [even] his meat, [is] contemptible.

lord <MAL1 -13> Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness [is it]! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the {LORD} of hosts; and ye brought [that which was] torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith t

he LORD.

lord <MAL1 -13> Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness [is it]! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought [that which was] torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the

 {LORD}.

lord <MAL1 -14> But cursed [be] the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the {Lord} a corrupt thing: for I [am] a great King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name [is] dreadful among the heathen.

lord <MAL1 -14> But cursed [be] the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and sacrificeth unto the Lord a corrupt thing: for I [am] a great King, saith the {LORD} of hosts, and my name [is] dreadful among the heathen.

lord <MAL2 -2> If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay [it] to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the {LORD} of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay [it

] to heart.

lord <MAL2 -4> And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the {LORD} of hosts.

lord <MAL2 -7> For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he [is] the messenger of the {LORD} of hosts.

lord <MAL2 -8> But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the {LORD} of hosts.

lord <MAL2 -11> Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the {LORD} which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god.

lord <MAL2 -12> The LORD will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto the {LORD} of hosts.

lord <MAL2 -12> The {LORD} will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto the LORD of hosts.

lord <MAL2 -13> And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the {LORD} with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth [it] with good will at your hand.

lord <MAL2 -14> Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the {LORD} hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet [is] she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.

lord <MAL2 -16> For the {LORD}, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for [one] covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.

lord <MAL2 -16> For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for [one] covereth violence with his garment, saith the {LORD} of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.

lord <MAL2 -17> Ye have wearied the {LORD} with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied [him]? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil [is] good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where [is] the God of judgment?

lord <MAL2 -17> Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied [him]? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil [is] good in the sight of the {LORD}, and he delighteth in them; or, Where [is] the God of judgment?

lord <MAL3 -1> Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the {Lord}, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of host

s.

lord <MAL3 -1> Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the {LORD} of host

s.

lord <MAL3 -3> And he shall sit [as] a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the {LORD} an offering in righteousness.

lord <MAL3 -4> Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the {LORD}, as in the days of old, and as in former years.

lord <MAL3 -5> And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in [his] wages, the widow, and the fatherless,

and that turn aside the stranger [from his right], and fear not me, saith the {LORD} of hosts.

lord <MAL3 -6> For I [am] the {LORD}, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

lord <MAL3 -7> Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept [them]. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the {LORD} of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

lord <MAL3 -10> Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the {LORD} of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be

room] enough [to receive it].

lord <MAL3 -11> And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the {LORD} of hosts.

lord <MAL3 -12> And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the {LORD} of hosts.

lord <MAL3 -13> Your words have been stout against me, saith the {LORD}. Yet ye say, What have we spoken [so much] against thee?

lord <MAL3 -14> Ye have said, It [is] vain to serve God: and what profit [is it] that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the {LORD} of hosts?

lord <MAL3 -16> Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard [it], and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the {LORD}, and that thought upon his name.

lord <MAL3 -16> Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the {LORD} hearkened, and heard [it], and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

lord <MAL3 -16> Then they that feared the {LORD} spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard [it], and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

lord <MAL3 -17> And they shall be mine, saith the {LORD} of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

lord <MAL4 -1> For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the {LORD} of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor br

anch.

lord <MAL4 -3> And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do [this], saith the {LORD} of hosts.

lord <MAL4 -5> Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the {LORD}:

lord <MAT1 -20> But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the {Lord} appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

lord <MAT1 -22> Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the {Lord} by the prophet, saying,

lord <MAT1 -24> Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the {Lord} had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

lord <MAT2 -13> And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the {Lord} appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the yo

ung child to destroy him.

lord <MAT2 -15> And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the {Lord} by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.

lord <MAT2 -19> But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the {Lord} appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,

lord <MAT3 -3> For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the {Lord}, make his paths straight.

lord <MAT4 -7> Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the {Lord} thy God.

lord <MAT4 -10> Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the {Lord} thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

lord <MAT5 -33> Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the {Lord} thine oaths:

lord <MAT7 -21> Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, {Lord}, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

lord <MAT7 -21> Not every one that saith unto me, {Lord}, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

lord <MAT7 -22> Many will say to me in that day, {Lord}, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

lord <MAT7 -22> Many will say to me in that day, Lord, {Lord}, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

lord <MAT8 -2> And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, {Lord}, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

lord <MAT8 -6> And saying, {Lord}, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.

lord <MAT8 -8> The centurion answered and said, {Lord}, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

lord <MAT8 -21> And another of his disciples said unto him, {Lord}, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

lord <MAT8 -25> And his disciples came to [him], and awoke him, saying, {Lord}, save us: we perish.

lord <MAT9 -28> And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, {Lord}.

lord <MAT9 -38> Pray ye therefore the {Lord} of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

lord <MAT10 -24> The disciple is not above [his] master, nor the servant above his {lord}.

lord <MAT10 -25> It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his {lord}. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more [shall they call] them of his household?

lord <MAT11 -25> At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, {Lord} of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

lord <MAT12 -8> For the Son of man is {Lord} even of the sabbath day.

lord <MAT13 -51> Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, {Lord}.

lord <MAT14 -28> And Peter answered him and said, {Lord}, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.

lord <MAT14 -30> But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, {Lord}, save me.

lord <MAT15 -22> And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O {Lord}, [thou] son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

lord <MAT15 -25> Then came she and worshipped him, saying, {Lord}, help me.

lord <MAT15 -27> And she said, Truth, {Lord}: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

lord <MAT16 -22> Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, {Lord}: this shall not be unto thee.

lord <MAT17 -4> Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, {Lord}, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

lord <MAT17 -15> {Lord}, have mercy on my son: for he is a lunatic, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.

lord <MAT18 -21> Then came Peter to him, and said, {Lord}, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

lord <MAT18 -25> But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his {lord} commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

lord <MAT18 -26> The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, {Lord}, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

lord <MAT18 -27> Then the {lord} of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.

lord <MAT18 -31> So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their {lord} all that was done.

lord <MAT18 -32> Then his {lord}, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:

lord <MAT18 -34> And his {lord} was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.

lord <MAT20 -8> So when even was come, the {lord} of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them [their] hire, beginning from the last unto the first.

lord <MAT20 -30> And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O {Lord}, [thou] son of David.

lord <MAT20 -31> And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O {Lord}, [thou] son of David.

lord <MAT20 -33> They say unto him, {Lord}, that our eyes may be opened.

lord <MAT21 -3> And if any [man] say ought unto you, ye shall say, The {Lord} hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.

lord <MAT21 -9> And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed [is] he that cometh in the name of the {Lord}; Hosanna in the highest.

lord <MAT21 -40> When the {lord} therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?

lord <MAT22 -37> Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the {Lord} thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

lord <MAT22 -43> He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him {Lord}, saying,

lord <MAT22 -44> The {Lord} said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?

lord <MAT22 -44> The Lord said unto my {Lord}, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?

lord <MAT22 -45> If David then call him {Lord}, how is he his son?

lord <MAT23 -39> For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed [is] he that cometh in the name of the {Lord}.

lord <MAT24 -42> Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your {Lord} doth come.

lord <MAT24 -45> Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his {lord} hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

lord <MAT24 -46> Blessed [is] that servant, whom his {lord} when he cometh shall find so doing.

lord <MAT24 -48> But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My {lord} delayeth his coming;

lord <MAT24 -50> The {lord} of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for [him], and in an hour that he is not aware of,

lord <MAT25 -11> Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, {Lord}, open to us.

lord <MAT25 -11> Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, {Lord}, Lord, open to us.

lord <MAT25 -19> After a long time the {lord} of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.

lord <MAT25 -20> And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, {Lord}, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

lord <MAT25 -21> His {lord} said unto him, Well done, [thou] good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

lord <MAT25 -21> His lord said unto him, Well done, [thou] good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy {lord}.

lord <MAT25 -22> He also that had received two talents came and said, {Lord}, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.

lord <MAT25 -23> His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy {lord}.

lord <MAT25 -23> His {lord} said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

lord <MAT25 -24> Then he which had received the one talent came and said, {Lord}, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strowed:

lord <MAT25 -26> His {lord} answered and said unto him, [Thou] wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strowed:

lord <MAT25 -37> Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, {Lord}, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed [thee]? or thirsty, and gave [thee] drink?

lord <MAT25 -44> Then shall they also answer him, saying, {Lord}, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

lord <MAT26 -22> And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, {Lord}, is it I?

lord <MAT27 -10> And gave them for the potter's field, as the {Lord} appointed me.

lord <MAT28 -2> And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the {Lord} descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

lord <MAT28 -6> He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the {Lord} lay.

lord <MAR1 -3> The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the {Lord}, make his paths straight.

lord <MAR2 -28> Therefore the Son of man is {Lord} also of the sabbath.

lord <MAR5 -19> Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the {Lord} hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.

lord <MAR7 -28> And she answered and said unto him, Yes, {Lord}: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

lord <MAR9 -24> And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, {Lord}, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

lord <MAR10 -51> And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, {Lord}, that I might receive my sight.

lord <MAR11 -3> And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the {Lord} hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.

lord <MAR11 -9> And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is] he that cometh in the name of the {Lord}:

lord <MAR11 -10> Blessed be] the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the {Lord}: Hosanna in the highest.

lord <MAR12 -9> What shall therefore the {lord} of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others.

lord <MAR12 -29> And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is], Hear, O Israel; The {Lord} our God is one Lord:

lord <MAR12 -29> And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is], Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one {Lord}:

lord <MAR12 -30> And thou shalt love the {Lord} thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is] the first commandment.

lord <MAR12 -36> For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my {Lord}, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

lord <MAR12 -36> For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The {LORD} said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

lord <MAR12 -37> David therefore himself calleth him {Lord}; and whence is he then] his son? And the common people heard him gladly.

lord <MAR13 -20> And except that the {Lord} had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

lord <MAR16 -19> So then after the {Lord} had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

lord <MAR16 -20> And they went forth, and preached every where, the {Lord} working with them], and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

lord <LUK1 -6> And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the {Lord} blameless.

lord <LUK1 -9> According to the custom of the priest's office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the {Lord}.

lord <LUK1 -11> And there appeared unto him an angel of the {Lord} standing on the right side of the altar of incense.

lord <LUK1 -15> For he shall be great in the sight of the {Lord}, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.

lord <LUK1 -16> And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the {Lord} their God.

lord <LUK1 -17> And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the {Lord}.

lord <LUK1 -25> Thus hath the {Lord} dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me], to take away my reproach among men.

lord <LUK1 -46> And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the {Lord},

lord <LUK1 -58> And her neighbours and her cousins heard how the {Lord} had showed great mercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her.

lord <LUK1 -66> And all they that heard them] laid them] up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be! And the hand of the {Lord} was with him.

lord <LUK1 -68> Blessed be] the {Lord} God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,

lord <LUK1 -76> And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the {Lord} to prepare his ways;

lord <LUK2 -9> And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the {Lord} shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

lord <LUK2 -9> And, lo, the angel of the {Lord} came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

lord <LUK2 -22> And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him] to the {Lord};

lord <LUK4 -18> The Spirit of the {Lord} is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty t

hem that are bruised,

lord <LUK4 -19> To preach the acceptable year of the {Lord}.

lord <LUK5 -8> When Simon Peter saw it], he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O {Lord}.

lord <LUK6 -46> And why call ye me, {Lord}, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

lord <LUK6 -46> And why call ye me, Lord, {Lord}, and do not the things which I say?

lord <LUK9 -59> And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, {Lord}, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

lord <LUK9 -61> And another also said, {Lord}, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.

lord <LUK10 -21> In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, {Lord} of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in t

lord <LUK12 -42> And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his] {lord} shall make ruler over his household, to give them their] portion of meat in due season?

lord <LUK12 -43> Blessed is] that servant, whom his {lord} when he cometh shall find so doing.

lord <LUK12 -45> But and if that servant say in his heart, My {lord} delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;

lord <LUK13 -25> When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, {Lord}, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

lord <LUK19 -31> And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him]? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the {Lord} hath need of him.

lord <ACT9 -29> And he spake boldly in the name of the {Lord} Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.

lord <ACT9 -31> Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the {Lord}, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.

lord <ACT9 -35> And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the {Lord}.

lord <ACT9 -42> And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the {Lord}.

lord <ACT10 -4> And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, {Lord}? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.

lord <ACT10 -14> But Peter said, Not so, {Lord}; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.

lord <ACT10 -36> The word which God] sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: he is {Lord} of all:)

lord <ACT10 -48> And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the {Lord}. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

lord <ACT11 -8> But I said, Not so, {Lord}: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth.

lord <ACT11 -16> Then remembered I the word of the {Lord}, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.

lord <ACT11 -17> Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did] unto us, who believed on the {Lord} Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?

lord <ACT11 -20> And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the {Lord} Jesus.

lord <ACT11 -21> And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the {Lord}.

lord <ACT11 -21> And the hand of the {Lord} was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.

lord <ACT11 -23> Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the {Lord}.

lord <ACT11 -24> For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the {Lord}.

lord <ACT12 -7> And, behold, the angel of the {Lord} came upon him], and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his] hands.

lord <ACT12 -11> And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the {Lord} hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from] all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

lord <ACT12 -17> But he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them how the {Lord} had brought him out of the prison. And he said, Go show these things unto James, and to the brethren. And he departed, and went into another

place.

lord <ACT12 -23> And immediately the angel of the {Lord} smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.

lord <ACT13 -2> As they ministered to the {Lord}, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

lord <ACT13 -10> And said, O full of all subtlety and all mischief, thou] child of the devil, thou] enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the {Lord}?

lord <ACT13 -11> And now, behold, the hand of the {Lord} is] upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

lord <ACT13 -12> Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the {Lord}.

lord <ACT13 -47> For so hath the {Lord} commanded us, saying], I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.

lord <ACT13 -48> And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the {Lord}: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

lord <ACT13 -49> And the word of the {Lord} was published throughout all the region.

lord <ACT14 -3> Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the {Lord}, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.

lord <ACT14 -23> And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the {Lord}, on whom they believed.

lord <ACT15 -11> But we believe that through the grace of the {Lord} Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.

lord <ACT15 -17> That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the {Lord}, who doeth all these things.

lord <ACT15 -17> That the residue of men might seek after the {Lord}, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.

lord <ACT15 -26> Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our {Lord} Jesus Christ.

lord <ACT15 -35> Paul also and Barnabas continued in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the {Lord}, with many others also.

lord <ACT15 -36> And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the {Lord}, and see] how they do.

lord <ACT16 -10> And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the {Lord} had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.

lord <ACT16 -14> And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us]: whose heart the {Lord} opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.

lord <ACT16 -15> And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us], saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the {Lord}, come into my house, and abide there]. And she constrained us.

lord <ACT16 -31> And they said, Believe on the {Lord} Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

lord <ACT16 -32> And they spake unto him the word of the {Lord}, and to all that were in his house.

lord <ACT17 -24> God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is {Lord} of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

lord <ACT17 -27> That they should seek the {Lord}, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

lord <ACT18 -8> And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the {Lord} with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.

lord <ACT18 -9> Then spake the {Lord} to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:

lord <ACT18 -25> This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the {Lord}, knowing only the baptism of John.

lord <ACT18 -25> This man was instructed in the way of the {Lord}; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.

lord <ACT19 -5> When they heard this], they were baptized in the name of the {Lord} Jesus.

lord <ACT19 -10> And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the {Lord} Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

lord <ACT19 -13> Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the {Lord} Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.

lord <ACT19 -17> And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the {Lord} Jesus was magnified.

lord <ACT20 -19> Serving the {Lord} with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:

lord <ACT20 -21> Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our {Lord} Jesus Christ.

lord <ACT20 -24> But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the {Lord} Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

lord <ACT20 -35> I have showed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the {Lord} Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

lord <ACT21 -13> Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the {Lord} Jesus.

lord <ACT21 -14> And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the {Lord} be done.

lord <ACT21 -20> And when they heard it], they glorified the {Lord}, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:

lord <ACT22 -8> And I answered, Who art thou, {Lord}? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest.

lord <ACT22 -10> And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the {Lord} said unto me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do.

lord <ACT22 -10> And I said, What shall I do, {Lord}? And the Lord said unto me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do.

lord <ACT22 -16> And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the {Lord}.

lord <ACT22 -19> And I said, {Lord}, they know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue them that believed on thee:

lord <ACT23 -11> And the night following the {Lord} stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.

lord <ACT25 -26> Of whom I have no certain thing to write unto my {lord}. Wherefore I have brought him forth before you, and specially before thee, O king Agrippa, that, after examination had, I might have somewhat to write.

lord <ACT26 -15> And I said, Who art thou, {Lord}? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.

lord <ACT28 -31> Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the {Lord} Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

lord <ROM1 -3> Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our {Lord}, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;

lord <ROM1 -7> To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be] saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the {Lord} Jesus Christ.

lord <ROM4 -8> Blessed is] the man to whom the {Lord} will not impute sin.

lord <ROM4 -24> But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our {Lord} from the dead;

lord <ROM5 -1> Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our {Lord} Jesus Christ:

lord <ROM5 -11> And not only so], but we also joy in God through our {Lord} Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

lord <ROM5 -21> That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our {Lord}.

lord <ROM6 -11> Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our {Lord}.

lord <ROM6 -23> For the wages of sin is] death; but the gift of God is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our {Lord}.

lord <ROM7 -25> I thank God through Jesus Christ our {Lord}. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

lord <ROM8 -39> Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our {Lord}.

lord <ROM9 -28> For he will finish the work, and cut it] short in righteousness: because a short work will the {Lord} make upon the earth.

lord <ROM9 -29> And as Esaias said before, Except the {Lord} of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha.

lord <ROM10 -9> That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the {Lord} Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

lord <ROM10 -12> For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same {Lord} over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

lord <ROM10 -13> For whosoever shall call upon the name of the {Lord} shall be saved.

lord <ROM10 -16> But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, {Lord}, who hath believed our report?

lord <ROM11 -3> {Lord}, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.

lord <ROM11 -34> For who hath known the mind of the {Lord}? or who hath been his counsellor?

lord <ROM12 -11> Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the {Lord};

lord <ROM12 -19> Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather] give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is] mine; I will repay, saith the {Lord}.

lord <ROM13 -14> But put ye on the {Lord} Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil] the lusts thereof].

lord <ROM14 -6> He that regardeth the day, regardeth it] unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the {Lord} he doth not regard it]. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth no

t, and giveth God thanks.

lord <ROM14 -6> He that regardeth the day, regardeth it] unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it]. He that eateth, eateth to the {Lord}, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth no

t, and giveth God thanks.

lord <ROM14 -6> He that regardeth the day, regardeth it] unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it]. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the {Lord} he eateth no

t, and giveth God thanks.

lord <ROM14 -6> He that regardeth the day, regardeth it] unto the {Lord}; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it]. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth no

t, and giveth God thanks.

lord <ROM14 -8> For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the {Lord}: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

lord <ROM14 -8> For whether we live, we live unto the {Lord}; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

lord <ROM14 -9> For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be {Lord} both of the dead and living.

lord <ROM14 -11> For it is written, As] I live, saith the {Lord}, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

lord <ROM14 -14> I know, and am persuaded by the {Lord} Jesus, that there is] nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is] unclean.

lord <ROM15 -6> That ye may with one mind and] one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our {Lord} Jesus Christ.

lord <ROM15 -11> And again, Praise the {Lord}, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.

lord <ROM15 -30> Now I beseech you, brethren, for the {Lord} Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your] prayers to God for me;

lord <ROM16 -2> That ye receive her in the {Lord}, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also.

lord <ROM16 -8> Greet Amplias my beloved in the {Lord}.

lord <ROM16 -11> Salute Herodion my kinsman. Greet them that be of the household] of Narcissus, which are in the {Lord}.

lord <ROM16 -12> Salute Tryphena and Tryphosa, who labour in the Lord. Salute the beloved Persis, which laboured much in the {Lord}.

lord <ROM16 -12> Salute Tryphena and Tryphosa, who labour in the {Lord}. Salute the beloved Persis, which laboured much in the Lord.

lord <ROM16 -13> Salute Rufus chosen in the {Lord}, and his mother and mine.

lord <ROM16 -18> For they that are such serve not our {Lord} Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

lord <ROM16 -20> And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our {Lord} Jesus Christ be] with you. Amen.

lord <ROM16 -22> I Tertius, who wrote this] epistle, salute you in the {Lord}.

lord <ROM16 -24> The grace of our {Lord} Jesus Christ be] with you all. Amen.

lord <1CO1 -2> Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be] saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our {Lord}, both theirs and ours:

lord <1CO1 -3> Grace be] unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from] the {Lord} Jesus Christ.

lord <1CO1 -7> So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our {Lord} Jesus Christ:

lord <1CO1 -8> Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be] blameless in the day of our {Lord} Jesus Christ.

lord <1CO1 -9> God is] faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our {Lord}.

lord <1CO1 -10> Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our {Lord} Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that] there be no divisions among you; but that] ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

lord <1CO1 -31> That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the {Lord}.

lord <1CO2 -8> Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it], they would not have crucified the {Lord} of glory.

lord <1CO2 -16> For who hath known the mind of the {Lord}, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

lord <1CO3 -5> Who then is Paul, and who is] Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the {Lord} gave to every man?

lord <1CO3 -20> And again, The {Lord} knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

lord <1CO4 -4> For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the {Lord}.

lord <1CO4 -5> Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the {Lord} come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

lord <1CO4 -17> For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the {Lord}, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.

lord <1CO4 -19> But I will come to you shortly, if the {Lord} will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power.

lord <1CO5 -4> In the name of our {Lord} Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

lord <1CO5 -4> In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our {Lord} Jesus Christ,

lord <1CO5 -5> To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the {Lord} Jesus.

lord <1CO6 -11> And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the {Lord} Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

lord <1CO6 -13> Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is] not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the {Lord} for the body.

lord <1CO6 -13> Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is] not for fornication, but for the {Lord}; and the Lord for the body.

lord <1CO6 -14> And God hath both raised up the {Lord}, and will also raise up us by his own power.

lord <1CO6 -17> But he that is joined unto the {Lord} is one spirit.

lord <1CO7 -10> And unto the married I command, yet] not I, but the {Lord}, Let not the wife depart from her] husband:

lord <1CO7 -12> But to the rest speak I, not the {Lord}: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.

lord <1CO7 -17> But as God hath distributed to every man, as the {Lord} hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.

lord <1CO7 -22> For he that is called in the {Lord}, being] a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being] free, is Christ's servant.

lord <1CO7 -25> Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the {Lord} to be faithful.

lord <1CO7 -25> Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the {Lord}: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful.

lord <1CO7 -32> But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the {Lord}:

lord <1CO7 -32> But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the {Lord}, how he may please the Lord:

lord <1CO7 -34> There is difference also] between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the {Lord}, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please

 her] husband.

lord <1CO7 -35> And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the {Lord} without distraction.

lord <1CO7 -39> The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the {Lord}.

lord <1CO8 -6> But to us there is but] one God, the Father, of whom are] all things, and we in him; and one {Lord} Jesus Christ, by whom are] all things, and we by him.

lord <1CO9 -1> Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our {Lord}? are not ye my work in the Lord?

lord <1CO9 -1> Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not ye my work in the {Lord}?

lord <1CO9 -2> If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the {Lord}.

lord <1CO9 -5> Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as] the brethren of the {Lord}, and Cephas?

lord <1CO9 -14> Even so hath the {Lord} ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.

lord <1CO10 -21> Ye cannot drink the cup of the {Lord}, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

lord <1CO10 -22> Do we provoke the {Lord} to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

lord <1CO11 -11> Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the {Lord}.

lord <1CO11 -23> For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the {Lord} Jesus the same] night in which he was betrayed took bread:

lord <1CO11 -23> For I have received of the {Lord} that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same] night in which he was betrayed took bread:

lord <1CO11 -27> Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this] cup of the {Lord}, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

lord <1CO11 -27> Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this] cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the {Lord}.

lord <1CO11 -32> But when we are judged, we are chastened of the {Lord}, that we should not be condemned with the world.

lord <1CO12 -3> Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that] no man can say that Jesus is the {Lord}, but by the Holy Ghost.

lord <1CO12 -5> And there are differences of administrations, but the same {Lord}.

lord <1CO14 -21> In the law it is written, With men of] other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the {Lord}.

lord <1CO14 -37> If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the {Lord}.

lord <1CO15 -31> I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our {Lord}, I die daily.

lord <1CO15 -47> The first man is] of the earth, earthy: the second man is] the {Lord} from heaven.

lord <1CO15 -57> But thanks be] to God, which giveth us the victory through our {Lord} Jesus Christ.

lord <1CO15 -58> Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the {Lord}, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

lord <1CO15 -58> Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the {Lord}.

lord <1CO16 -7> For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the {Lord} permit.

lord <1CO16 -10> Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the {Lord}, as I also do].

lord <1CO16 -19> The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the {Lord}, with the church that is in their house.

lord <1CO16 -22> If any man love not the {Lord} Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.

lord <1CO16 -23> The grace of our {Lord} Jesus Christ be] with you.

lord <2CO1 -2> Grace be] to you and peace from God our Father, and from] the {Lord} Jesus Christ.

lord <2CO1 -3> Blessed be] God, even the Father of our {Lord} Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

lord <2CO1 -14> As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are] ours in the day of the {Lord} Jesus.

lord <2CO2 -12> Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach] Christ's gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the {Lord},

lord <2CO3 -16> Nevertheless when it shall turn to the {Lord}, the veil shall be taken away.

lord <2CO3 -17> Now the {Lord} is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is], there is] liberty.

lord <2CO3 -17> Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the {Lord} is], there is] liberty.

lord <2CO3 -18> But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the {Lord}, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even] as by the Spirit of the Lord.

lord <2CO3 -18> But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even] as by the Spirit of the {Lord}.

lord <2CO4 -5> For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the {Lord}; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

lord <2CO4 -10> Always bearing about in the body the dying of the {Lord} Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

lord <2CO4 -14> Knowing that he which raised up the {Lord} Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us] with you.

lord <2CO5 -6> Therefore we are] always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the {Lord}:

lord <2CO5 -8> We are confident, I say], and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the {Lord}.

lord <2CO5 -11> Knowing therefore the terror of the {Lord}, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

lord <2CO6 -17> Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the {Lord}, and touch not the unclean thing]; and I will receive you,

lord <2CO6 -18> And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the {Lord} Almighty.

lord <2CO8 -5> And this they did], not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the {Lord}, and unto us by the will of God.

lord <2CO8 -9> For ye know the grace of our {Lord} Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

lord <2CO8 -19> And not that] only, but who was also chosen of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same {Lord}, and declaration of] your ready mind:

lord <2CO8 -21> Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the {Lord}, but also in the sight of men.

lord <2CO10 -8> For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the {Lord} hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed:

lord <2CO10 -17> But he that glorieth, let him glory in the {Lord}.

lord <2CO10 -18> For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the {Lord} commendeth.

lord <2CO11 -17> That which I speak, I speak it] not after the {Lord}, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.

lord <2CO11 -31> The God and Father of our {Lord} Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.

lord <2CO12 -1> It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the {Lord}.

lord <2CO12 -8> For this thing I besought the {Lord} thrice, that it might depart from me.

lord <2CO13 -10> Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the {Lord} hath given me to edification, and not to destruction.

lord <2CO13 -14> The grace of the {Lord} Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be] with you all. Amen.

lord <GAL1 -3> Grace be] to you and peace from God the Father, and from] our {Lord} Jesus Christ,

lord <GAL4 -1> Now I say, That] the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be {lord} of all;

lord <GAL5 -10> I have confidence in you through the {Lord}, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.

lord <GAL6 -14> But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our {Lord} Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

lord <GAL6 -17> From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the {Lord} Jesus.

lord <GAL6 -18> Brethren, the grace of our {Lord} Jesus Christ be] with your spirit. Amen.

lord <EPH1 -2> Grace be] to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from] the {Lord} Jesus Christ.

lord <EPH1 -3> Blessed be] the God and Father of our {Lord} Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places] in Christ:

lord <EPH1 -15> Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the {Lord} Jesus, and love unto all the saints,

lord <EPH1 -17> That the God of our {Lord} Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

lord <EPH2 -21> In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the {Lord}:

lord <EPH3 -11> According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our {Lord}:

lord <EPH3 -14> For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our {Lord} Jesus Christ,

lord <EPH4 -1> I therefore, the prisoner of the {Lord}, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

lord <EPH4 -5> One {Lord}, one faith, one baptism,

lord <EPH4 -17> This I say therefore, and testify in the {Lord}, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,

lord <EPH5 -8> For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye] light in the {Lord}: walk as children of light:

lord <EPH5 -10> Proving what is acceptable unto the {Lord}.

lord <EPH5 -17> Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the {Lord} is].

lord <EPH5 -19> Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the {Lord};

lord <EPH5 -20> Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our {Lord} Jesus Christ;

lord <EPH5 -22> Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the {Lord}.

lord <EPH5 -29> For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the {Lord} the church:

lord <EPH6 -1> Children, obey your parents in the {Lord}: for this is right.

lord <EPH6 -4> And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the {Lord}.

lord <EPH6 -7> With good will doing service, as to the {Lord}, and not to men:

lord <EPH6 -8> Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the {Lord}, whether he be] bond or free.

lord <EPH6 -10> Finally, my brethren, be strong in the {Lord}, and in the power of his might.

lord <EPH6 -21> But that ye also may know my affairs, and] how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the {Lord}, shall make known to you all things:

lord <EPH6 -23> Peace be] to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the {Lord} Jesus Christ.

lord <EPH6 -24> Grace be] with all them that love our {Lord} Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

lord <PHP1 -2> Grace be] unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from] the {Lord} Jesus Christ.

lord <PHP1 -14> And many of the brethren in the {Lord}, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.

lord <PHP2 -11> And that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is] {Lord}, to the glory of God the Father.

lord <PHP2 -19> But I trust in the {Lord} Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.

lord <PHP2 -24> But I trust in the {Lord} that I also myself shall come shortly.

lord <PHP2 -29> Receive him therefore in the {Lord} with all gladness; and hold such in reputation:

lord <PHP3 -1> Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the {Lord}. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is] not grievous, but for you it is] safe.

lord <PHP3 -8> Yea doubtless, and I count all things but] loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my {Lord}: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but] dung, that I may win Christ,

lord <PHP3 -20> For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the {Lord} Jesus Christ:

lord <PHP4 -1> Therefore, my brethren, dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the {Lord}, my] dearly beloved.

lord <PHP4 -2> I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the {Lord}.

lord <PHP4 -4> Rejoice in the {Lord} alway: and] again I say, Rejoice.

lord <PHP4 -5> Let your moderation be known unto all men. The {Lord} is] at hand.

lord <PHP4 -10> But I rejoiced in the {Lord} greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.

lord <PHP4 -23> The grace of our {Lord} Jesus Christ be] with you all. Amen.

lord <COL1 -2> To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be] unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the {Lord} Jesus Christ.

lord <COL1 -3> We give thanks to God and the Father of our {Lord} Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

lord <COL1 -10> That ye might walk worthy of the {Lord} unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

lord <COL2 -6> As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the {Lord}, so] walk ye in him:

lord <COL3 -16> Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the {Lord}.

lord <COL3 -17> And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do] all in the name of the {Lord} Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

lord <COL3 -18> Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the {Lord}.

lord <COL3 -20> Children, obey your] parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the {Lord}.

lord <COL3 -23> And whatsoever ye do, do it] heartily, as to the {Lord}, and not unto men;

lord <COL3 -24> Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the {Lord} Christ.

lord <COL3 -24> Knowing that of the {Lord} ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

lord <COL4 -7> All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you, who is] a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the {Lord}:

lord <COL4 -17> And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the {Lord}, that thou fulfil it.

lord <1TH1 -1> Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is] in God the Father and in] the {Lord} Jesus Christ: Grace be] unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

lord <1TH1 -1> Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is] in God the Father and in] the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be] unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the {Lord} Jesus Christ.

lord <1TH1 -3> Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our {Lord} Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;

lord <1TH1 -6> And ye became followers of us, and of the {Lord}, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost:

lord <1TH1 -8> For from you sounded out the word of the {Lord} not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing.

lord <1TH2 -15> Who both killed the {Lord} Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:

lord <1TH2 -19> For what is] our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are] not even ye in the presence of our {Lord} Jesus Christ at his coming?

lord <1TH3 -8> For now we live, if ye stand fast in the {Lord}.

lord <1TH3 -11> Now God himself and our Father, and our {Lord} Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you.

lord <1TH3 -12> And the {Lord} make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men], even as we do] toward you:

lord <1TH3 -13> To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our {Lord} Jesus Christ with all his saints.

lord <1TH4 -1> Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you] by the {Lord} Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so] ye would abound more and more.

lord <1TH4 -2> For ye know what commandments we gave you by the {Lord} Jesus.

lord <1TH4 -6> That no man] go beyond and defraud his brother in any] matter: because that the {Lord} is] the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

lord <1TH4 -15> For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and] remain unto the coming of the {Lord} shall not prevent them which are asleep.

lord <1TH4 -15> For this we say unto you by the word of the {Lord}, that we which are alive and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

lord <1TH4 -16> For the {Lord} himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

lord <1TH4 -17> Then we which are alive and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the {Lord}.

lord <1TH4 -17> Then we which are alive and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the {Lord} in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

lord <1TH5 -2> For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the {Lord} so cometh as a thief in the night.

lord <1TH5 -9> For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our {Lord} Jesus Christ,

lord <1TH5 -12> And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the {Lord}, and admonish you;

lord <1TH5 -23> And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God] your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our {Lord} Jesus Christ.

lord <1TH5 -27> I charge you by the {Lord} that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren.

lord <1TH5 -28> The grace of our {Lord} Jesus Christ be] with you. Amen.

lord <2TH1 -1> Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the {Lord} Jesus Christ:

lord <2TH1 -2> Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the {Lord} Jesus Christ.

lord <2TH1 -7> And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the {Lord} Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

lord <2TH1 -8> In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our {Lord} Jesus Christ:

lord <2TH1 -9> Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the {Lord}, and from the glory of his power;

lord <2TH1 -12> That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the {Lord} Jesus Christ.

lord <2TH1 -12> That the name of our {Lord} Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

lord <2TH2 -1> Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our {Lord} Jesus Christ, and by] our gathering together unto him,

lord <2TH2 -8> And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the {Lord} shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

lord <2TH2 -13> But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the {Lord}, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

lord <2TH2 -14> Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our {Lord} Jesus Christ.

lord <2TH2 -16> Now our {Lord} Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us] everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

lord <2TH3 -1> Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the {Lord} may have free] course, and be glorified, even as it is] with you:

lord <2TH3 -3> But the {Lord} is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you] from evil.

lord <2TH3 -4> And we have confidence in the {Lord} touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.

lord <2TH3 -5> And the {Lord} direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

lord <2TH3 -6> Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our {Lord} Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

lord <2TH3 -12> Now them that are such we command and exhort by our {Lord} Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

lord <2TH3 -16> Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The {Lord} be] with you all.

lord <2TH3 -16> Now the {Lord} of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be] with you all.

lord <2TH3 -18> The grace of our {Lord} Jesus Christ be] with you all. Amen.

lord <1TI1 -1> Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and {Lord} Jesus Christ, which is] our hope; 1:2 Unto Timothy, my] own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and] peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

lord <1TI1 -1> Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is] our hope; 1:2 Unto Timothy, my] own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and] peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our {Lord}.

lord <1TI1 -12> And I thank Christ Jesus our {Lord}, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

lord <1TI1 -14> And the grace of our {Lord} was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

lord <1TI5 -21> I charge thee] before God, and the {Lord} Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.

lord <1TI6 -3> If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even] the words of our {Lord} Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

lord <1TI6 -14> That thou keep this] commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our {Lord} Jesus Christ:

lord <1TI6 -15> Which in his times he shall show, who is] the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and {Lord} of lords;

lord <2TI1 -2> To Timothy, my] dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and] peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our {Lord}.

lord <2TI1 -8> Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our {Lord}, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;

lord <2TI1 -16> The {Lord} give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:

lord <2TI1 -18> The Lord grant unto him that he may find mercy of the {Lord} in that day: and in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus, thou knowest very well.

lord <2TI1 -18> The {Lord} grant unto him that he may find mercy of the Lord in that day: and in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus, thou knowest very well.

lord <2TI2 -7> Consider what I say; and the {Lord} give thee understanding in all things.

lord <2TI2 -14> Of these things put them] in remembrance, charging them] before the {Lord} that they strive not about words to no profit, but] to the subverting of the hearers.

lord <2TI2 -19> Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The {Lord} knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

lord <2TI2 -22> Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the {Lord} out of a pure heart.

lord <2TI2 -24> And the servant of the {Lord} must not strive; but be gentle unto all men], apt to teach, patient,

lord <2TI3 -11> Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them] all the {Lord} delivered me.

lord <2TI4 -1> I charge thee] therefore before God, and the {Lord} Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

lord <2TI4 -8> Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the {Lord}, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

lord <2TI4 -14> Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the {Lord} reward him according to his works:

lord <2TI4 -17> Notwithstanding the {Lord} stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that] all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

lord <2TI4 -18> And the {Lord} shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me] unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be] glory for ever and ever. Amen.

lord <2TI4 -22> The {Lord} Jesus Christ be] with thy spirit. Grace be] with you. Amen.

lord <TIT1 -4> To Titus, mine] own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and] peace, from God the Father and the {Lord} Jesus Christ our Saviour.

lord <PHM1 -3> Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the {Lord} Jesus Christ.

lord <PHM1 -5> Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the {Lord} Jesus, and toward all saints;

lord <PHM1 -16> Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the {Lord}?

lord <PHM1 -20> Yea, brother, let me have joy of thee in the {Lord}: refresh my bowels in the Lord.

lord <PHM1 -20> Yea, brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord: refresh my bowels in the {Lord}.

lord <PHM1 -25> The grace of our {Lord} Jesus Christ be] with your spirit. Amen.

lord <HEB1 -10> And, Thou, {Lord}, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

lord <HEB2 -3> How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the {Lord}, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him];

lord <HEB7 -14> For it is] evident that our {Lord} sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.

lord <HEB7 -21> For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The {Lord} sware and will not repent, Thou art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)

lord <HEB8 -2> A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the {Lord} pitched, and not man.

lord <HEB8 -8> For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the {Lord}, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

lord <HEB8 -9> Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the {Lord}.

lord <HEB8 -10> For this is] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the {Lord}; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

lord <HEB8 -11> And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the {Lord}: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

lord <HEB10 -16> This is] the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the {Lord}, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

lord <HEB10 -30> For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth] unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The {Lord} shall judge his people.

lord <HEB10 -30> For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth] unto me, I will recompense, saith the {Lord}. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

lord <HEB12 -5> And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the {Lord}, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

lord <HEB12 -6> For whom the {Lord} loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

lord <HEB12 -14> Follow peace with all men], and holiness, without which no man shall see the {Lord}:

lord <HEB13 -6> So that we may boldly say, The {Lord} is] my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

lord <HEB13 -20> Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our {Lord} Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

lord <JAM1 -1> James, a servant of God and of the {Lord} Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.

lord <JAM1 -7> For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the {Lord}.

lord <JAM1 -12> Blessed is] the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the {Lord} hath promised to them that love him.

lord <JAM2 -1> My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the {Lord}] of glory, with respect of persons.

lord <JAM2 -1> My brethren, have not the faith of our {Lord} Jesus Christ, the Lord] of glory, with respect of persons.

lord <JAM4 -10> Humble yourselves in the sight of the {Lord}, and he shall lift you up.

lord <JAM4 -15> For that ye ought] to say, If the {Lord} will, we shall live, and do this, or that.

lord <JAM5 -4> Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the {Lord} of sabaoth.

lord <JAM5 -7> Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the {Lord}. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

lord <JAM5 -8> Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the {Lord} draweth nigh.

lord <JAM5 -10> Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the {Lord}, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.

lord <JAM5 -11> Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the {Lord} is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

lord <JAM5 -11> Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the {Lord}; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

lord <JAM5 -14> Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the {Lord}:

lord <JAM5 -15> And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the {Lord} shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

lord <1PE1 -3> Blessed be] the God and Father of our {Lord} Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

lord <1PE1 -25> But the word of the {Lord} endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

lord <1PE2 -3> If so be ye have tasted that the {Lord} is] gracious.

lord <1PE3 -6> Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him {lord}: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.

lord <1PE3 -12> For the eyes of the {Lord} are] over the righteous, and his ears are open] unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is] against them that do evil.

lord <1PE3 -12> For the eyes of the Lord are] over the righteous, and his ears are open] unto their prayers: but the face of the {Lord} is] against them that do evil.

lord <1PE3 -15> But sanctify the {Lord} God in your hearts: and be] ready always to give] an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

lord <2PE1 -2> Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our {Lord},

lord <2PE1 -8> For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall] neither be] barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our {Lord} Jesus Christ.

lord <2PE1 -11> For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our {Lord} and Saviour Jesus Christ.

lord <2PE1 -14> Knowing that shortly I must put off this] my tabernacle, even as our {Lord} Jesus Christ hath showed me.

lord <2PE1 -16> For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our {Lord} Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

lord <2PE2 -1> But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the {Lord} that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

lord <2PE2 -9> The {Lord} knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

lord <2PE2 -11> Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the {Lord}.

lord <2PE2 -20> For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the {Lord} and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

lord <2PE3 -2> That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the {Lord} and Saviour:

lord <2PE3 -8> But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is] with the {Lord} as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

lord <2PE3 -9> The {Lord} is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
