briers <JUG8 -7> And Gideon said, Therefore when the LORD hath delivered Zebah and Zalmunna into mine hand, then I will tear your flesh with the thorns of the wilderness and with {briers}.

briers <JUG8 -16> And he took the elders of the city, and thorns of the wilderness and {briers}, and with them he taught the men of Succoth.

briers <ISA5 -6> And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up {briers} and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.

briers <ISA7 -23> And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] every place shall be, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it shall [even] be for {briers} and thorns.

briers <ISA7 -24> With arrows and with bows shall [men] come thither; because all the land shall become {briers} and thorns.

briers <ISA7 -25> And [on] all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of {briers} and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle.

briers <ISA9 -18> For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the {briers} and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up [like] the lifting up of smoke.

briers <ISA10 -17> And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his {briers} in one day;

briers <ISA27 -4> Fury [is] not in me: who would set the {briers} [and] thorns against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together.

briers <ISA32 -13> Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns [and] {briers}; yea, upon all the houses of joy [in] the joyous city:

briers <EZE2 -6> And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though {briers} and thorns [be] with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they [be]

a rebellious house.

briers <HEB6 -8> But that which beareth thorns and {briers} is] rejected, and is] nigh unto cursing; whose end is] to be burned.
