thus {Thus} the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. thus {Thus} did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he. thus {Thus} were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father. thus And unto Sarah he said, Behold, I have given thy brother a thousand [pieces] of silver: behold, he [is] to thee a covering of the eyes, unto all that [are] with thee, and with all [other]: {thus} she was reproved. thus {Thus} they made a covenant at Beersheba: then Abimelech rose up, and Phichol the chief captain of his host, and they returned into the land of the Philistines. thus And it came to pass, when he saw the earring and bracelets upon his sister's hands, and when he heard the words of Rebekah his sister, saying, {Thus} spake the man unto me; that he came unto the man; and, behold, he stood by the camels at the well. thus And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If [it be] so, why [am] I {thus}? And she went to inquire of the LORD. thus Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: {thus} Esau despised [his] birthright. thus If he said thus, The speckled shall be thy wages; then all the cattle bare speckled: and if he said {thus}, The ringstreaked shall be thy hire; then bare all the cattle ringstreaked. thus If he said {thus}, The speckled shall be thy wages; then all the cattle bare speckled: and if he said thus, The ringstreaked shall be thy hire; then bare all the cattle ringstreaked. thus {Thus} God hath taken away the cattle of your father, and given [them] to me. thus {Thus}] I was; in the day the drought consumed me, and the frost by night; and my sleep departed from mine eyes. thus {Thus} have I been twenty years in thy house; I served thee fourteen years for thy two daughters, and six years for thy cattle: and thou hast changed my wages ten times. thus And he commanded them, saying, {Thus} shall ye speak unto my lord Esau; Thy servant Jacob saith thus, I have sojourned with Laban, and stayed there until now: thus And he commanded them, saying, Thus shall ye speak unto my lord Esau; Thy servant Jacob saith {thus}, I have sojourned with Laban, and stayed there until now: thus {Thus} dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau [is] Edom. thus And all his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him; but he refused to be comforted; and he said, For I will go down into the grave unto my son mourning. {Thus} his father wept for him. thus Then Joseph commanded to fill their sacks with corn, and to restore every man's money into his sack, and to give them provision for the way: and {thus} did he unto them. thus Haste ye, and go up to my father, and say unto him, {Thus} saith thy son Joseph, God hath made me lord of all Egypt: come down unto me, tarry not: thus And God said unto Moses, I And God said moreover unto Moses, {Thus} shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this [is] my name for ever, and this [is] my memorial unto all generations. thus And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, {Thus} saith the LORD, Israel [is] my son, [even] my firstborn: thus And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, {Thus} saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness. thus And the taskmasters of the people went out, and their officers, and they spake to the people, saying, {Thus} saith Pharaoh, I will not give you straw. thus Then the officers of the children of Israel came and cried unto Pharaoh, saying, Wherefore dealest thou {thus} with thy servants? thus {Thus} saith the LORD, In this thou shalt know that I [am] the LORD: behold, I will smite with the rod that [is] in mine hand upon the waters which [are] in the river, and they shall be turned to blood. thus And the LORD spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, {Thus} saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me. thus And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; lo, he cometh forth to the water; and say unto him, {Thus} saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me. thus Then the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, and tell him, {Thus} saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me. thus And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and say unto him, {Thus} saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me. thus And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, {Thus} saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me. thus And Moses said, {Thus} saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt: thus And {thus} shall ye eat it; [with] your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it [is] the LORD'S passover. thus {Thus} did all the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they. thus And they said unto Moses, Because [there were] no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt {thus} with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt? thus {Thus} the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore. thus And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, {Thus} shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel; thus And the LORD said unto Moses, {Thus} thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven. thus Two tenons [shall there be] in one board, set in order one against another: {thus} shalt thou make for all the boards of the tabernacle. thus And they shall be coupled together beneath, and they shall be coupled together above the head of it unto one ring: {thus} shall it be for them both; they shall be for the two corners. thus And {thus} shalt thou do unto Aaron, and to his sons, according to all [things] which I have commanded thee: seven days shalt thou consecrate them. thus And he said unto them, {Thus} saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, [and] go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his nei ghbour. thus One board had two tenons, equally distant one from another: {thus} did he make for all the boards of the tabernacle. thus And they were coupled beneath, and coupled together at the head thereof, to one ring: {thus} he did to both of them in both the corners. thus {Thus} was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they. thus {Thus} did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he. thus {Thus} shall ye separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that [is] among them. thus {Thus} shall Aaron come into the holy [place]: with a young bullock for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering. thus But {thus} do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden: thus According to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered by the hand of Moses, every one according to his service, and according to his burden: {thus} were they numbered of him, as the LORD commanded Moses. thus And {thus} shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: Sprinkle water of purifying upon them, and let them shave all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and [so] make themselves clean. thus {Thus} shalt thou separate the Levites from among the children of Israel: and the Levites shall be mine. thus But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. {Thus} shalt thou do unto the Levites touching their charge. thus {Thus} [were] the journeyings of the children of Israel according to their armies, when they set forward. thus And if thou deal {thus} with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of hand, if I have found favour in thy sight; and let me not see my wretchedness. thus {Thus} shall it be done for one bullock, or for one ram, or for a lamb, or a kid. thus {Thus} speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the LORD, [even] a tenth [part] of the tithe. thus {Thus} ye also shall offer an heave offering unto the LORD of all your tithes, which ye receive of the children of Israel; and ye shall give thereof the LORD'S heave offering to Aaron the priest. thus And Moses sent messengers from Kadesh unto the king of Edom, {Thus} saith thy brother Israel, Thou knowest all the travail that hath befallen us: thus {Thus} Edom refused to give Israel passage through his border: wherefore Israel turned away from him. thus {Thus} Israel dwelt in the land of the Amorites. thus And they came to Balaam, and said to him, {Thus} saith Balak the son of Zippor, Let nothing, I pray thee, hinder thee from coming unto me: thus And the LORD put a word in Balaam's mouth, and said, Return unto Balak, and {thus} thou shalt speak. thus And the LORD met Balaam, and put a word in his mouth, and said, Go again unto Balak, and say {thus}. thus {Thus} did your fathers, when I sent them from Kadeshbarnea to see the land. thus But {thus} shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire. thus {Thus} I fell down before the LORD forty days and forty nights, as I fell down [at the first]; because the LORD had said he would destroy you. thus {Thus} shalt thou do unto all the cities [which are] very far off from thee, which [are] not of the cities of these nations. thus Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath the LORD done {thus} unto this land? what [meaneth] the heat of this great anger? thus Do ye {thus} requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? [is] not he thy father [that] hath bought thee? hath he not made thee, and established thee? thus And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said {thus}, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they [were]: thus And ye shall compass the city, all [ye] men of war, [and] go round about the city once. {Thus} shalt thou do six days. thus And the LORD said unto Joshua, Get thee up; wherefore liest thou {thus} upon thy face? thus Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against tomorrow: for {thus} saith the LORD God of Israel, [There is] an accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the accursed thing from among you. thus And Achan answered Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the LORD God of Israel, and {thus} and thus have I done: thus And Achan answered Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the LORD God of Israel, and thus and {thus} have I done: thus And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for {thus} shall the LORD do to all your enemies against whom ye fight. thus And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was [{thus}]: even the border of their inheritance on the east side was Atarothaddar, unto Bethhoron the upper; thus {Thus} they gave to the children of Aaron the priest Hebron with her suburbs, [to be] a city of refuge for the slayer; and Libnah with her suburbs, thus These cities were every one with their suburbs round about them: {thus} [were] all these cities. thus {Thus} saith the whole congregation of the LORD, What trespass [is] this that ye have committed against the God of Israel, to turn away this day from following the LORD, in that ye have builded you an altar, that ye might rebel this day a gainst the LORD? thus And Joshua said unto all the people, {Thus} saith the LORD God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, [even] Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods. thus That the LORD sent a prophet unto the children of Israel, which said unto them, {Thus} saith the LORD God of Israel, I brought you up from Egypt, and brought you forth out of the house of bondage; thus And the men of Ephraim said unto him, Why hast thou served us {thus}, that thou calledst us not, when thou wentest to fight with the Midianites? And they did chide with him sharply. thus {Thus} was Midian subdued before the children of Israel, so that they lifted up their heads no more. And the country was in quietness forty years in the days of Gideon. thus {Thus} God rendered the wickedness of Abimelech, which he did unto his father, in slaying his seventy brethren: thus And said unto him, {Thus} saith Jephthah, Israel took not away the land of Moab, nor the land of the children of Ammon: thus And he smote them from Aroer, even till thou come to Minnith, [even] twenty cities, and unto the plain of the vineyards, with a very great slaughter. {Thus} the children of Ammon were subdued before the children of Israel. thus And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Why askest thou {thus} after my name, seeing it [is] secret? thus And he said unto them, {Thus} and thus dealeth Micah with me, and hath hired me, and I am his priest. thus And he said unto them, Thus and {thus} dealeth Micah with me, and hath hired me, and I am his priest. thus [{Thus}] they enclosed the Benjamites round about, [and] chased them, [and] trode them down with ease over against Gibeah toward thesunrising. thus <1SA2 -27> And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, {Thus} saith the LORD, Did I plainly appear unto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh's house? thus <1SA9 -9> Beforetime in Israel, when a man went to inquire of God, {thus} he spake, Come, and let us go to the seer: for [he that is] now [called] a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.) thus <1SA10 -18> And said unto the children of Israel, {Thus} saith the LORD God of Israel, I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all kingdoms, [and] of them that oppressed you: thus <1SA11 -9> And they said unto the messengers that came, {Thus} shall ye say unto the men of Jabeshgilead, To morrow, by [that time] the sun be hot, ye shall have help. And the messengers came and showed [it] to the men of Jabesh; and they were glad. thus <1SA14 -9> If they say {thus} unto us, Tarry until we come to you; then we will stand still in our place, and will not go up unto them. thus <1SA14 -10> But if they say {thus}, Come up unto us; then we will go up: for the LORD hath delivered them into our hand: and this [shall be] a sign unto us. thus <1SA15 -2> {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, I remember [that] which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid [wait] for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt. thus <1SA18 -25> And Saul said, {Thus} shall ye say to David, The king desireth not any dowry, but an hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to be avenged of the king's enemies. But Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines. thus <1SA20 -7> If he say {thus}, [It is] well; thy servant shall have peace: but if he be very wroth, [then] be sure that evil is determined by him. thus <1SA20 -22> But if I say {thus} unto the young man, Behold, the arrows [are] beyond thee; go thy way: for the LORD hath sent thee away. thus <1SA25 -6> And {thus} shall ye say to him that liveth [in prosperity], Peace [be] both to thee, and peace [be] to thine house, and peace [be] unto all that thou hast. thus <1SA26 -18> And he said, Wherefore doth my lord {thus} pursue after his servant? for what have I done? or what evil [is] in mine hand? thus <2SA6 -22> And I will yet be more vile than {thus}, and will be base in mine own sight: and of the maidservants which thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honour. thus <2SA7 -5> Go and tell my servant David, {Thus} saith the LORD, Shalt thou build me an house for me to dwell in? thus <2SA7 -8> Now therefore so shalt thou say unto my servant David, {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, from following the sheep, to be ruler over my people, over Israel: thus <2SA11 -25> Then David said unto the messenger, {Thus} shalt thou say unto Joab, Let not this thing displease thee, for the sword devoureth one as well as another: make thy battle more strong against the city, and overthrow it: and encourage thou him . thus <2SA12 -7> And Nathan said to David, Thou [art] the man. {Thus} saith the LORD God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul; thus <2SA12 -11> {Thus} saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give [them] unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun. thus <2SA12 -31> And he brought forth the people that [were] therein, and put [them] under saws, and under harrows of iron, and under axes of iron, and made them pass through the brickkiln: and {thus} did he unto all the cities of the children of Ammon. S o David and all the people returned unto Jerusalem. thus <2SA15 -26> But if he {thus} say, I have no delight in thee; behold, [here am] I, let him do to me as seemeth good unto him. thus <2SA16 -7> And {thus} said Shimei when he cursed, Come out, come out, thou bloody man, and thou man of Belial: thus <2SA17 -15> Then said Hushai unto Zadok and to Abiathar the priests, {Thus} and thus did Ahithophel counsel Absalom and the elders of Israel; and thus and thus have I counselled. thus <2SA17 -15> Then said Hushai unto Zadok and to Abiathar the priests, Thus and thus did Ahithophel counsel Absalom and the elders of Israel; and {thus} and thus have I counselled. thus <2SA17 -15> Then said Hushai unto Zadok and to Abiathar the priests, Thus and thus did Ahithophel counsel Absalom and the elders of Israel; and thus and {thus} have I counselled. thus <2SA17 -15> Then said Hushai unto Zadok and to Abiathar the priests, Thus and {thus} did Ahithophel counsel Absalom and the elders of Israel; and thus and thus have I counselled. thus <2SA17 -21> And it came to pass, after they were departed, that they came up out of the well, and went and told king David, and said unto David, Arise, and pass quickly over the water: for {thus} hath Ahithophel counselled against you. thus <2SA18 -14> Then said Joab, I may not tarry {thus} with thee. And he took three darts in his hand, and thrust them through the heart of Absalom, while he [was] yet alive in the midst of the oak. thus <2SA18 -33> And the king was much moved, and went up to the chamber over the gate, and wept: and as he went, {thus} he said, O my son Absalom, my son, my son Absalom! would God I had died for thee, O Absalom, my son, my son! thus <2SA24 -12> Go and say unto David, {Thus} saith the LORD, I offer thee three [things]; choose thee one of them, that I may [do it] unto thee. thus <1KI1 -48> And also {thus} said the king, Blessed [be] the LORD God of Israel, which hath given [one] to sit on my throne this day, mine eyes even seeing [it]. thus <1KI2 -30> And Benaiah came to the tabernacle of the LORD, and said unto him, Thus saith the king, Come forth. And he said, Nay; but I will die here. And Benaiah brought the king word again, saying, {Thus} said Joab, and thus he answered me. thus <1KI2 -30> And Benaiah came to the tabernacle of the LORD, and said unto him, {Thus} saith the king, Come forth. And he said, Nay; but I will die here. And Benaiah brought the king word again, saying, Thus said Joab, and thus he answered me. thus <1KI2 -30> And Benaiah came to the tabernacle of the LORD, and said unto him, Thus saith the king, Come forth. And he said, Nay; but I will die here. And Benaiah brought the king word again, saying, Thus said Joab, and {thus} he answered me. thus <1KI3 -22> And the other woman said, Nay; but the living [is] my son, and the dead [is] thy son. And this said, No; but the dead [is] thy son, and the living [is] my son. {Thus} they spake before the king. thus <1KI5 -11> And Solomon gave Hiram twenty thousand measures of wheat [for] food to his household, and twenty measures of pure oil: {thus} gave Solomon to Hiram year by year. thus <1KI9 -8> And at this house, [which] is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath the LORD done {thus} unto this land, and to this house? thus <1KI11 -31> And he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for {thus} saith the LORD, the God of Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee: thus <1KI12 -10> And the young men that were grown up with him spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt thou speak unto this people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou [it] lighter unto us; {thus} shalt thou say unto them , My little [finger] shall be thicker than my father's loins. thus <1KI12 -10> And the young men that were grown up with him spake unto him, saying, {Thus} shalt thou speak unto this people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou [it] lighter unto us; thus shalt thou say unto them , My little [finger] shall be thicker than my father's loins. thus <1KI12 -24> {Thus} saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren the children of Israel: return every man to his house; for this thing is from me. They hearkened therefore to the word of the LORD, and returned to depart, accordi ng to the word of the LORD. thus <1KI13 -2> And he cried against the altar in the word of the LORD, and said, O altar, altar, {thus} saith the LORD; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places tha t burn incense upon thee, and men's bones shall be burnt upon thee. thus <1KI13 -21> And he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, {Thus} saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the LORD, and hast not kept the commandment which the LORD thy God commanded thee, thus <1KI14 -5> And the LORD said unto Ahijah, Behold, the wife of Jeroboam cometh to ask a thing of thee for her son; for he [is] sick: {thus} and thus shalt thou say unto her: for it shall be, when she cometh in, that she shall feign herself [to be] ano ther [woman]. thus <1KI14 -5> And the LORD said unto Ahijah, Behold, the wife of Jeroboam cometh to ask a thing of thee for her son; for he [is] sick: thus and {thus} shalt thou say unto her: for it shall be, when she cometh in, that she shall feign herself [to be] ano ther [woman]. thus <1KI14 -7> Go, tell Jeroboam, {Thus} saith the LORD God of Israel, Forasmuch as I exalted thee from among the people, and made thee prince over my people Israel, thus <1KI16 -12> {Thus} did Zimri destroy all the house of Baasha, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake against Baasha by Jehu the prophet, thus <1KI17 -14> For {thus} saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day [that] the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth. thus <1KI20 -2> And he sent messengers to Ahab king of Israel into the city, and said unto him, {Thus} saith Benhadad, thus <1KI20 -5> And the messengers came again, and said, {Thus} speaketh Benhadad, saying, Although I have sent unto thee, saying, Thou shalt deliver me thy silver, and thy gold, and thy wives, and thy children; thus <1KI20 -13> And, behold, there came a prophet unto Ahab king of Israel, saying, {Thus} saith the LORD, Hast thou seen all this great multitude? behold, I will deliver it into thine hand this day; and thou shalt know that I [am] the LORD. thus <1KI20 -14> And Ahab said, By whom? And he said, {Thus} saith the LORD, [Even] by the young men of the princes of the provinces. Then he said, Who shall order the battle? And he answered, Thou. thus <1KI20 -28> And there came a man of God, and spake unto the king of Israel, and said, {Thus} saith the LORD, Because the Syrians have said, The LORD [is] God of the hills, but he [is] not God of the valleys, therefore will I deliver all this great mu ltitude into thine hand, and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD. thus <1KI20 -42> And he said unto him, {Thus} saith the LORD, Because thou hast let go out of [thy] hand a man whom I appointed to utter destruction, therefore thy life shall go for his life, and thy people for his people. thus <1KI21 -19> And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, {Thus} saith the LORD, In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood, even thine. thus <1KI21 -19> And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, {Thus} saith the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood, even thine. thus <1KI22 -11> And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron: and he said, {Thus} saith the LORD, With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until thou have consumed them. thus <1KI22 -27> And say, {Thus} saith the king, Put this [fellow] in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I come in peace. thus <2KI1 -4> Now therefore {thus} saith the LORD, Thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. And Elijah departed. thus <2KI1 -6> And they said unto him, There came a man up to meet us, and said unto us, Go, turn again unto the king that sent you, and say unto him, {Thus} saith the LORD, [Is it] not because [there is] not a God in Israel, [that] thou sendest to inquir e of Baalzebub the god of Ekron? therefore thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. thus <2KI1 -11> Again also he sent unto him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said unto him, O man of God, {thus} hath the king said, Come down quickly. thus <2KI1 -16> And he said unto him, {Thus} saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to inquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron, [is it] not because [there is] no God in Israel to inquire of his word? therefore thou shalt not come down off th at bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. thus <2KI2 -21> And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, {Thus} saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren [land]. thus <2KI3 -16> And he said, {Thus} saith the LORD, Make this valley full of ditches. thus <2KI3 -17> For {thus} saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts. thus <2KI4 -43> And his servitor said, What, should I set this before an hundred men? He said again, Give the people, that they may eat: for {thus} saith the LORD, They shall eat, and shall leave [thereof]. thus <2KI5 -4> And [one] went in, and told his lord, saying, {Thus} and thus said the maid that [is] of the land of Israel. thus <2KI5 -4> And [one] went in, and told his lord, saying, Thus and {thus} said the maid that [is] of the land of Israel. thus <2KI7 -1> Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; {Thus} saith the LORD, To morrow about this time [shall] a measure of fine flour [be sold] for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria. thus <2KI9 -3> Then take the box of oil, and pour [it] on his head, and say, {Thus} saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not. thus <2KI9 -6> And he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said unto him, {Thus} saith the LORD God of Israel, I have anointed thee king over the people of the LORD, [even] over Israel. thus <2KI9 -12> And they said, [It is] false; tell us now. And he said, {Thus} and thus spake he to me, saying, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel. thus <2KI9 -12> And they said, [It is] false; tell us now. And he said, Thus and thus spake he to me, saying, {Thus} saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel. thus <2KI9 -12> And they said, [It is] false; tell us now. And he said, Thus and {thus} spake he to me, saying, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel. thus <2KI9 -18> So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, {Thus} saith the king, [Is it] peace? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not a gain. thus <2KI9 -19> Then he sent out a second on horseback, which came to them, and said, {Thus} saith the king, [Is it] peace? And Jehu answered, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. thus <2KI10 -28> {Thus} Jehu destroyed Baal out of Israel. thus <2KI16 -16> {Thus} did Urijah the priest, according to all that king Ahaz commanded. thus <2KI18 -19> And Rabshakeh said unto them, Speak ye now to Hezekiah, {Thus} saith the great king, the king of Assyria, What confidence [is] this wherein thou trustest? thus <2KI18 -29> {Thus} saith the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive you: for he shall not be able to deliver you out of his hand: thus <2KI18 -31> Hearken not to Hezekiah: for {thus} saith the king of Assyria, Make [an agreement] with me by a present, and come out to me, and [then] eat ye every man of his own vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his cistern: thus <2KI19 -3> And they said unto him, {Thus} saith Hezekiah, This day [is] a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and [there is] not strength to bring forth. thus <2KI19 -6> And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say to your master, {Thus} saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words which thou hast heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. thus <2KI19 -6> And Isaiah said unto them, {Thus} shall ye say to your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words which thou hast heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. thus <2KI19 -10> {Thus} shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God in whom thou trustest deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria. thus <2KI19 -20> Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, {Thus} saith the LORD God of Israel, [That] which thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria I have heard. thus <2KI19 -32> Therefore {thus} saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shield, nor cast a bank against it. thus <2KI20 -1> In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, {Thus} saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live. thus <2KI20 -5> Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, {Thus} saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the L ORD. thus <2KI21 -12> Therefore {thus} saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I [am] bringing [such] evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle. thus <2KI22 -15> And she said unto them, {Thus} saith the LORD God of Israel, Tell the man that sent you to me. thus <2KI22 -16> {Thus} saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, [even] all the words of the book which the king of Judah hath read: thus <2KI22 -18> But to the king of Judah which sent you to inquire of the LORD, {thus} shall ye say to him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, [As touching] the words which thou hast heard; thus <2KI22 -18> But to the king of Judah which sent you to inquire of the LORD, thus shall ye say to him, {Thus} saith the LORD God of Israel, [As touching] the words which thou hast heard; thus <1CH15 -28> {Thus} all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, and with sound of the cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, making a noise with psalteries and harps. thus <1CH17 -4> Go and tell David my servant, {Thus} saith the LORD, Thou shalt not build me an house to dwell in: thus <1CH17 -7> Now therefore thus shalt thou say unto my servant David, {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, [even] from following the sheep, that thou shouldest be ruler over my people Israel: thus <1CH17 -7> Now therefore {thus} shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, [even] from following the sheep, that thou shouldest be ruler over my people Israel: thus <1CH18 -6> Then David put [garrisons] in Syriadamascus; and the Syrians became David's servants, [and] brought gifts. {Thus} the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went. thus <1CH18 -13> And he put garrisons in Edom; and all the Edomites became David's servants. {Thus} the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went. thus <1CH21 -10> Go and tell David, saying, {Thus} saith the LORD, I offer thee three [things]: choose thee one of them, that I may do [it] unto thee. thus <1CH21 -11> So Gad came to David, and said unto him, {Thus} saith the LORD, Choose thee thus <1CH24 -4> And there were more chief men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar; and [{thus}] were they divided. Among the sons of Eleazar [there were] sixteen chief men of the house of [their] fathers, and eight among the sons of I thamar according to the house of their fathers. thus <1CH24 -5> {Thus} were they divided by lot, one sort with another; for the governors of the sanctuary, and governors [of the house] of God, were of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar. thus <1CH29 -26> {Thus} David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel. thus <2CH4 -18> {Thus} Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance: for the weight of the brass could not be found out. thus <2CH5 -1> {Thus} all the work that Solomon made for the house of the LORD was finished: and Solomon brought in [all] the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of the house of God. thus <2CH7 -11> {Thus} Solomon finished the house of the LORD, and the king's house: and all that came into Solomon's heart to make in the house of the LORD, and in his own house, he prosperously effected. thus <2CH7 -21> And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall say, Why hath the LORD done {thus} unto this land, and unto this house? thus <2CH10 -10> And the young men that were brought up with him spake unto him, saying, {Thus} shalt thou answer the people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou [it] somewhat lighter for us; thus shalt thou say unto them, My little [finger] shall be thicker than my father's loins. thus <2CH10 -10> And the young men that were brought up with him spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt thou answer the people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou [it] somewhat lighter for us; {thus} shalt thou say unto them, My little [finger] shall be thicker than my father's loins. thus <2CH11 -4> {Thus} saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren: return every man to his house: for this thing is done of me. And they obeyed the words of the LORD, and returned from going against Jeroboam. thus <2CH12 -5> Then came Shemaiah the prophet to Rehoboam, and [to] the princes of Judah, that were gathered together to Jerusalem because of Shishak, and said unto them, {Thus} saith the LORD, Ye have forsaken me, and therefore have I also left you in t he hand of Shishak. thus <2CH13 -18> {Thus} the children of Israel were brought under at that time, and the children of Judah prevailed, because they relied upon the LORD God of their fathers. thus <2CH18 -10> And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah had made him horns of iron, and said, {Thus} saith the LORD, With these thou shalt push Syria until they be consumed. thus <2CH18 -26> And say, {Thus} saith the king, Put this [fellow] in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I return in peace. thus <2CH19 -9> And he charged them, saying, {Thus} shall ye do in the fear of the LORD, faithfully, and with a perfect heart. thus <2CH20 -15> And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, {Thus} saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle [is] not yours, but God's. thus <2CH21 -12> And there came a writing to him from Elijah the prophet, saying, {Thus} saith the LORD God of David thy father, Because thou hast not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat thy father, nor in the ways of Asa king of Judah, thus <2CH24 -11> Now it came to pass, that at what time the chest was brought unto the king's office by the hand of the Levites, and when they saw that [there was] much money, the king's scribe and the high priest's officer came and emptied the chest, and took it, and carried it to his place again. {Thus} they did day by day, and gathered money in abundance. thus <2CH24 -20> And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, which stood above the people, and said unto them, {Thus} saith God, Why transgress ye the commandments of the LORD, that ye cannot prosper? because ye have forsaken the LORD, he hath also forsaken you. thus <2CH24 -22> {Thus} Joash the king remembered not the kindness which Jehoiada his father had done to him, but slew his son. And when he died, he said, The LORD look upon [it], and require [it]. thus <2CH31 -20> And {thus} did Hezekiah throughout all Judah, and wrought [that which was] good and right and truth before the LORD his God. thus <2CH32 -10> {Thus} saith Sennacherib king of Assyria, Whereon do ye trust, that ye abide in the siege in Jerusalem? thus <2CH32 -22> {Thus} the LORD saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all [other], and guided them on every side. thus <2CH34 -23> And she answered them, {Thus} saith the LORD God of Israel, Tell ye the man that sent you to me, thus <2CH34 -24> {Thus} saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, [even] all the curses that are written in the book which they have read before the king of Judah: thus <2CH34 -26> And as for the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the LORD, so shall ye say unto him, {Thus} saith the LORD God of Israel [concerning] the words which thou hast heard; thus <2CH36 -23> {Thus} saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the LORD God of heaven given me; and he hath charged me to build him an house in Jerusalem, which [is] in Judah. Who [is there] among you of all his people? The LORD hi s God [be] with him, and let him go up. thus {Thus} saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which [is] in Judah. thus At the same time came to them Tatnai, governor on this side the river, and Shetharboznai, and their companions, and said {thus} unto them, Who hath commanded you to build this house, and to make up this wall? thus They sent a letter unto him, wherein was written {thus}; Unto Darius the king, all peace. thus Then asked we those elders, [and] said unto them {thus}, Who commanded you to build this house, and to make up these walls? thus And {thus} they returned us answer, saying, We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and build the house that was builded these many years ago, which a great king of Israel builded and set up. thus And there was found at Achmetha, in the palace that [is] in the province of the Medes, a roll, and therein [was] a record {thus} written: thus Also I shook my lap, and said, So God shake out every man from his house, and from his labour, that performeth not this promise, even {thus} be he shaken out, and emptied. And all the congregation said, Amen, and praised the LORD. And the people did according to this promise. thus Did not your fathers {thus}, and did not our God bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city? yet ye bring more wrath upon Israel by profaning the sabbath. thus {Thus} cleansed I them from all strangers, and appointed the wards of the priests and the Levites, every one in his business; thus Likewise] shall the ladies of Persia and Media say this day unto all the king's princes, which have heard of the deed of the queen. {Thus} [shall there arise] too much contempt and wrath. thus Then {thus} came [every] maiden unto the king; whatsoever she desired was given her to go with her out of the house of the women unto the king's house. thus And let this apparel and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king's most noble princes, that they may array the man [withal] whom the king delighteth to honour, and bring him on horseback through the street of the city, and proclai m before him, {Thus} shall it be done to the man whom the king delighteth to honour. thus Then took Haman the apparel and the horse, and arrayed Mordecai, and brought him on horseback through the street of the city, and proclaimed before him, {Thus} shall it be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honour. thus {Thus} the Jews smote all their enemies with the stroke of the sword, and slaughter, and destruction, and did what they would unto those that hated them. thus And it was so, when the days of [their] feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings [according] to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons h ave sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. {Thus} did Job continually. thus Behold, all ye yourselves have seen [it]; why then are ye {thus} altogether vain? thus {Thus} I was as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth [are] no reproofs. thus {Thus} will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. thus If I say, I will speak {thus}; behold, I should offend [against] the generation of thy children. thus {Thus} my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins. thus {Thus} they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass. thus {Thus} they provoked [him] to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them. thus {Thus} were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions. thus Behold, that {thus} shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass. thus For the LORD spake {thus} to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying, thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt. thus For {thus} hath the Lord said unto me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he seeth. thus For {thus} hath the Lord said unto me, Within a year, according to the years of an hireling, and all the glory of Kedar shall fail: thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD of hosts, Go, get thee unto this treasurer, [even] unto Shebna, which [is] over the house, [and say], thus When {thus} it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, [there shall be] as the shaking of an olive tree, [and] as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done. thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner [stone], a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale. thus Wherefore {thus} saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon: thus For {thus} saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not. thus For {thus} hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, [he] will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: s o shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof. thus And Rabshakeh said unto them, Say ye now to Hezekiah, {Thus} saith the great king, the king of Assyria, What confidence [is] this wherein thou trustest? thus {Thus} saith the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive you: for he shall not be able to deliver you. thus Hearken not to Hezekiah: for {thus} saith the king of Assyria, Make [an agreement] with me [by] a present, and come out to me: and eat ye every one of his vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his own c istern; thus And they said unto him, {Thus} saith Hezekiah, This day [is] a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and [there is] not strength to bring forth. thus And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, {Thus} saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. thus And Isaiah said unto them, {Thus} shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. thus {Thus} shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God, in whom thou trustest, deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria. thus Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent unto Hezekiah, saying, {Thus} saith the LORD God of Israel, Whereas thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria: thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank against it. thus In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, {Thus} saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live. thus Go, and say to Hezekiah, {Thus} saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. thus {Thus} saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: thus But now {thus} saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called [thee] by thy name; thou [art] mine. thus {Thus} saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry [is] in the ships. thus {Thus} saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters; thus {Thus} saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, [which] will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen. thus {Thus} saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I [am] the first, and I [am] the last; and beside me [there is] no God. thus {Thus} saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I [am] the LORD that maketh all [things]; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; thus {Thus} saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; thus {Thus} saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me. thus {Thus} saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fal l down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, [saying], Surely God [is] in thee; and [there is] none else, [there is] no God. thus For {thus} saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I [am] the LORD; and [there is] none else. thus {Thus} shall they be unto thee with whom thou hast laboured, [even] thy merchants, from thy youth: they shall wander every one to his quarter; none shall save thee. thus {Thus} saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I [am] the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way [that] thou shouldest go. thus {Thus} saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, [and] his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is fait hful, [and] the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee. thus {Thus} saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate he ritages; thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in [their] arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon [their] shoulders. thus But {thus} saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children. thus {Thus} saith the LORD, Where [is] the bill of your mother's divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors [is it] to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is yo ur mother put away. thus {Thus} saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God [that] pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, [even] the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again: thus For {thus} saith the LORD, Ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money. thus For {thus} saith the Lord GOD, My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause. thus {Thus} saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation [is] near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed. thus For {thus} saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose [the things] that please me, and take hold of my covenant; thus For {thus} saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name [is] Holy; I dwell in the high and holy [place], with him also [that is] of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the h eart of the contrite ones. thus {Thus} saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and [one] saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing [is] in it: so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy them all. thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed: thus {Thus} saith the LORD, The heaven [is] my throne, and the earth [is] my footstool: where [is] the house that ye build unto me? and where [is] the place of my rest? thus For {thus} saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon [her] sides, and be dandled upon [her] knees. thus Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, {Thus} saith the LORD; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land [that was] not sown. thus {Thus} saith the LORD, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain? thus For {thus} saith the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns. thus For {thus} hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end. thus And the prophets shall become wind, and the word [is] not in them: {thus} shall it be done unto them. thus Wherefore {thus} saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them. thus For {thus} hath the LORD of hosts said, Hew ye down trees, and cast a mount against Jerusalem: this [is] the city to be visited; she [is] wholly oppression in the midst of her. thus {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, They shall thoroughly glean the remnant of Israel as a vine: turn back thine hand as a grapegatherer into the baskets. thus {Thus} saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where [is] the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk [therein]. thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish. thus {Thus} saith the LORD, Behold, a people cometh from the north country, and a great nation shall be raised from the sides of the earth. thus {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place. thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenc hed. thus {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh. thus Moreover thou shalt say unto them, {Thus} saith the LORD; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not return? thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will melt them, and try them; for how shall I do for the daughter of my people? thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, [even] this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink. thus {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, Consider ye, and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for cunning [women], that they may come: thus Speak, {Thus} saith the LORD, Even the carcases of men shall fall as dung upon the open field, and as the handful after the harvestman, and none shall gather [them]. thus {Thus} saith the LORD, Let not the wise [man] glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty [man] glory in his might, let not the rich [man] glory in his riches: thus {Thus} saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. thus {Thus} shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, [even] they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens. thus For {thus} saith the LORD, Behold, I will sling out the inhabitants of the land at this once, and will distress them, that they may find [it so]. thus And say thou unto them, {Thus} saith the LORD God of Israel; Cursed [be] the man that obeyeth not the words of this covenant, thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them. thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD of the men of Anathoth, that seek thy life, saying, Prophesy not in the name of the LORD, that thou die not by our hand: thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine: thus {Thus} saith the LORD against all mine evil neighbours, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah from among them. thus {Thus} saith the LORD unto me, Go and get thee a linen girdle, and put it upon thy loins, and put it not in water. thus {Thus} saith the LORD, After this manner will I mar the pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem. thus Therefore thou shalt speak unto them this word; {Thus} saith the LORD God of Israel, Every bottle shall be filled with wine: and they shall say unto thee, Do we not certainly know that every bottle shall be filled with wine? thus Then shalt thou say unto them, {Thus} saith the LORD, Behold, I will fill all the inhabitants of this land, even the kings that sit upon David's throne, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, with drunken ness. thus Thus saith the LORD unto this people, {Thus} have they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet, therefore the LORD doth not accept them; he will now remember their iniquity, and visit their sins. thus {Thus} saith the LORD unto this people, Thus have they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet, therefore the LORD doth not accept them; he will now remember their iniquity, and visit their sins. thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed. thus And it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, {Thus} saith the LORD; Such as [are] for death, to death; and such as [are] for the sword, to the sword; and such as [are] for the fami ne, to the famine; and such as [are] for the captivity, to the captivity. thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, [and] thou shalt stand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them. thus For {thus} saith the LORD concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bare them, and concerning their fathers that begat them in this land; thus For {thus} saith the LORD, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them: for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith the LORD, [even] lovingkindness and mercies. thus For {thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your eyes, and in your days, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride. thus {Thus} saith the LORD; Cursed [be] the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. thus {Thus} said the LORD unto me; Go and stand in the gate of the children of the people, whereby the kings of Judah come in, and by the which they go out, and in all the gates of Jerusalem; thus {Thus} saith the LORD; Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the sabbath day, nor bring [it] in by the gates of Jerusalem; thus Now therefore go to, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, {Thus} saith the LORD; Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a device against you: return ye now every one from his evil way, and make you r ways and your doings good. thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD; Ask ye now among the heathen, who hath heard such things: the virgin of Israel hath done a very horrible thing. thus Yet, LORD, thou knowest all their counsel against me to slay [me]: forgive not their iniquity, neither blot out their sin from thy sight, but let them be overthrown before thee; deal [{thus}] with them in the time of thine anger. thus {Thus} saith the LORD, Go and get a potter's earthen bottle, and [take] of the ancients of the people, and of the ancients of the priests; thus And say, Hear ye the word of the LORD, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem; {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingle. thus And shalt say unto them, {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts; Even so will I break this people and this city, as [one] breaketh a potter's vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and they shall bury [them] in Tophet, till [there be] no place to bury. thus {Thus} will I do unto this place, saith the LORD, and to the inhabitants thereof, and [even] make this city as Tophet: thus {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon this city and upon all her towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it, because they have hardened their necks, that they might not hear my words. thus For {thus} saith the LORD, Behold, I will make thee a terror to thyself, and to all thy friends: and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and thine eyes shall behold [it]: and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Ba bylon, and he shall carry them captive into Babylon, and shall slay them with the sword. thus Then said Jeremiah unto them, {Thus} shall ye say to Zedekiah: thus {Thus} saith the LORD God of Israel; Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that [are] in your hands, wherewith ye fight against the king of Babylon, and [against] the Chaldeans, which besiege you without the walls, and I will assembl e them into the midst of this city. thus And unto this people thou shalt say, {Thus} saith the LORD; Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death. thus O house of David, {thus} saith the LORD; Execute judgment in the morning, and deliver [him that is] spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my fury go out like fire, and burn that none can quench [it], because of the evil of your d oings. thus {Thus} saith the LORD; Go down to the house of the king of Judah, and speak there this word, thus {Thus} saith the LORD; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this pla ce. thus For {thus} saith the LORD unto the king's house of Judah; Thou [art] Gilead unto me, [and] the head of Lebanon: [yet] surely I will make thee a wilderness, [and] cities [which] are not inhabited. thus And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbour, Wherefore hath the LORD done {thus} unto this great city? thus For {thus} saith the LORD touching Shallum the son of Josiah king of Judah, which reigned instead of Josiah his father, which went forth out of this place; He shall not return thither any more: thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament for him, [saying], Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! they shall not lament for him, [saying], Ah lord! or, Ah his glory! thus {Thus} saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless, a man [that] shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah. thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD. thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land. thus {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, [and] not out of the mouth of the LORD. thus {Thus} shall ye say every one to his neighbour, and every one to his brother, What hath the LORD answered? and, What hath the LORD spoken? thus {Thus} shalt thou say to the prophet, What hath the LORD answered thee? and, What hath the LORD spoken? thus But since ye say, The burden of the LORD; therefore {thus} saith the LORD; Because ye say this word, The burden of the LORD, and I have sent unto you, saying, Ye shall not say, The burden of the LORD; thus {Thus} saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for [their] good. thus And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely {thus} saith the LORD, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the lan d of Egypt: thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD of hosts; Because ye have not heard my words, thus For {thus} saith the LORD God of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it. thus Therefore thou shalt say unto them, {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Drink ye, and be drunken, and spue, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you. thus And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thine hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts; Ye shall certainly drink. thus {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. thus {Thus} saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD'S house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD'S house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word: thus And thou shalt say unto them, {Thus} saith the LORD; If ye will not hearken to me, to walk in my law, which I have set before you, thus Micah the Morasthite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and spake to all the people of Judah, saying, {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts; Zion shall be plowed [like] a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain o f the house as the high places of a forest. thus Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him at all to death? did he not fear the LORD, and besought the LORD, and the LORD repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? {Thus} might we procure great evil against our souls. thus {Thus} saith the LORD to me; Make thee bonds and yokes, and put them upon thy neck, thus And command them to say unto their masters, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; {Thus} shall ye say unto your masters; thus And command them to say unto their masters, {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say unto your masters; thus Also I spake to the priests and to all this people, saying, {Thus} saith the LORD; Hearken not to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the LORD'S house shall now shortly be brought again from B abylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you. thus For {thus} saith the LORD of hosts concerning the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the residue of the vessels that remain in this city, thus Yea, {thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that remain [in] the house of the LORD, and [in] the house of the king of Judah and of Jerusalem; thus {Thus} speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon. thus And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, {Thus} saith the LORD; Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way. thus Go and tell Hananiah, saying, {Thus} saith the LORD; Thou hast broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make for them yokes of iron. thus For {thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the fiel d also. thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the LORD. thus {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon; thus For {thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that [be] in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. thus For {thus} saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place. thus Know] that {thus} saith the LORD of the king that sitteth upon the throne of David, and of all the people that dwelleth in this city, [and] of your brethren that are not gone forth with you into captivity; thus {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil. thus {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, of Ahab the son of Kolaiah, and of Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, which prophesy a lie unto you in my name; Behold, I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall slay them before your eyes; thus {Thus}] shalt thou also speak to Shemaiah the Nehelamite, saying, thus {Thus} speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, Because thou hast sent letters in thy name unto all the people that [are] at Jerusalem, and to Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, and to all the priests, saying, thus Send to all them of the captivity, saying, {Thus} saith the LORD concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite; Because that Shemaiah hath prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he caused you to trust in a lie: thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD; Behold, I will punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite, and his seed: he shall not have a man to dwell among this people; neither shall he behold the good that I will do for my people, saith the LORD; because he ha th taught rebellion against the LORD. thus {Thus} speaketh the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book. thus For {thus} saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. thus For {thus} saith the LORD, Thy bruise [is] incurable, [and] thy wound [is] grievous. thus {Thus} saith the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have mercy on his dwellingplaces; and the city shall be builded upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof. thus {Thus} saith the LORD, The people [which were] left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; [even] Israel, when I went to cause him to rest. thus For {thus} saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel. thus {Thus} saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, [and] bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they [were] not. thus {Thus} saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy. thus I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself [{thus}]; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed [to the yoke]: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou [art] the LORD my God. thus {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, [and] mountain of holiness. thus {Thus} saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, [and] the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts [is] his name: thus {Thus} saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD. thus For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up, saying, Wherefore dost thou prophesy, and say, {Thus} saith the LORD, Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it; thus {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Take these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days. thus For {thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land. thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and he shall take it: thus And now therefore {thus} saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning this city, whereof ye say, It shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence; thus For {thus} saith the LORD; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them. thus {Thus} saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD [is] his name; thus For {thus} saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword; thus {Thus} saith the LORD; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say [shall be] desolate without man and without beast, [even] in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without i nhabitant, and without beast, thus {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing [their] flocks to lie down. thus For {thus} saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel; thus {Thus} saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season; thus Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? {thus} they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them. thus {Thus} saith the LORD; If my covenant [be] not with day and night, [and if] I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth; thus Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, {Thus} saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire: thus {Thus} saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire: thus Yet hear the word of the LORD, O Zedekiah king of Judah; {Thus} saith the LORD of thee, Thou shalt not die by the sword: thus {Thus} saith the LORD, the God of Israel; I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondmen, saying, thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD; Ye have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, saith the LORD, to the sword, to the pestilence, and t o the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth. thus {Thus} have we obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab our father in all that he hath charged us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, nor our daughters; thus {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will ye not receive instruction to hearken to my words? saith the LORD. thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have no t heard; and I have called unto them, but they have not answered. thus And Jeremiah said unto the house of the Rechabites, {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Because ye have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your father, and kept all his precepts, and done according unto all that he hath comm anded you: thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not want a man to stand before me for ever. thus And thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, {Thus} saith the LORD; Thou hast burned this roll, saying, Why hast thou written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast? thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD of Jehoiakim king of Judah; He shall have none to sit upon the throne of David: and his dead body shall be cast out in the day to the heat, and in the night to the frost. thus Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; {Thus} shall ye say to the king of Judah, that sent you unto me to inquire of me; Behold, Pharaoh's army, which is come forth to help you, shall return to Egypt into their own land. thus {Thus} saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say to the king of Judah, that sent you unto me to inquire of me; Behold, Pharaoh's army, which is come forth to help you, shall return to Egypt into their own land. thus {Thus} saith the LORD; Deceive not yourselves, saying, The Chaldeans shall surely depart from us: for they shall not depart. thus Then Zedekiah the king commanded that they should commit Jeremiah into the court of the prison, and that they should give him daily a piece of bread out of the bakers' street, until all the bread in the city were spent. {Thus} Jeremiah re mained in the court of the prison. thus {Thus} saith the LORD, He that remaineth in this city shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence: but he that goeth forth to the Chaldeans shall live; for he shall have his life for a prey, and shall live. thus {Thus} saith the LORD, This city shall surely be given into the hand of the king of Babylon's army, which shall take it. thus Therefore the princes said unto the king, We beseech thee, let this man be put to death: for {thus} he weakeneth the hands of the men of war that remain in this city, and the hands of all the people, in speaking such words unto them: for t his man seeketh not the welfare of this people, but the hurt. thus Then said Jeremiah unto Zedekiah, {Thus} saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; If thou wilt assuredly go forth unto the king of Babylon's princes, then thy soul shall live, and this city shall not be burned with fire; and t hou shalt live, and thine house: thus Go and speak to Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, saying, {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring my words upon this city for evil, and not for good; and they shall be [accomplished] in that day before thee. thus And said unto them, {Thus} saith the LORD, the God of Israel, unto whom ye sent me to present your supplication before him; thus And now therefore hear the word of the LORD, ye remnant of Judah; {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; If ye wholly set your faces to enter into Egypt, and go to sojourn there; thus For {thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As mine anger and my fury hath been poured forth upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured forth upon you, when ye shall enter into Egypt: and ye shall be an execr ation, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and ye shall see this place no more. thus So they came into the land of Egypt: for they obeyed not the voice of the LORD: {thus} came they [even] to Tahpanhes. thus And say unto them, {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon these stones that I have hid; and he shall spread his royal pa vilion over them. thus {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Ye have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah; and, behold, this day they [are] a desolation, and no man dwelleth therein, thus Therefore now {thus} saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; Wherefore commit ye [this] great evil against your souls, to cut off from you man and woman, child and suckling, out of Judah, to leave you none to remain; thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will set my face against you for evil, and to cut off all Judah. thus {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heav en, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows. thus {Thus} saith the LORD; Behold, I will give Pharaohhophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of them that seek his life; as I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, his enemy , and that sought his life. thus {Thus} saith the LORD, the God of Israel, unto thee, O Baruch; thus Thus shalt thou say unto him, The LORD saith {thus}; Behold, [that] which I have built will I break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up, even this whole land. thus {Thus} shalt thou say unto him, The LORD saith thus; Behold, [that] which I have built will I break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up, even this whole land. thus {Thus} saith the LORD; Behold, waters rise up out of the north, and shall be an overflowing flood, and shall overflow the land, and all that is therein; the city, and them that dwell therein: then the men shall cry, and all the inhabitants of the land shall howl. thus Against Moab {thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Woe unto Nebo! for it is spoiled: Kiriathaim is confounded [and] taken: Misgab is confounded and dismayed. thus For {thus} saith the LORD; Behold, he shall fly as an eagle, and shall spread his wings over Moab. thus Yet will I bring again the captivity of Moab in the latter days, saith the LORD. {Thus} far [is] the judgment of Moab. thus Concerning the Ammonites, {thus} saith the LORD; Hath Israel no sons? hath he no heir? why [then] doth their king inherit Gad, and his people dwell in his cities? thus Concerning Edom, {thus} saith the LORD of hosts; [Is] wisdom no more in Teman? is counsel perished from the prudent? is their wisdom vanished? thus For {thus} saith the LORD; Behold, they whose judgment [was] not to drink of the cup have assuredly drunken; and [art] thou he [that] shall altogether go unpunished? thou shalt not go unpunished, but thou shalt surely drink [of it]. thus Concerning Kedar, and concerning the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon shall smite, {thus} saith the LORD; Arise ye, go up to Kedar, and spoil the men of the east. thus {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might. thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, as I have punished the king of Assyria. thus {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts; The children of Israel and the children of Judah [were] oppressed together: and all that took them captives held them fast; they refused to let them go. thus {Thus} saith the LORD; Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in the midst of them that rise up against me, a destroying wind; thus {Thus} the slain shall fall in the land of the Chaldeans, and [they that are] thrust through in her streets. thus For {thus} saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; The daughter of Babylon [is] like a threshingfloor, [it is] time to thresh her: yet a little while, and the time of her harvest shall come. thus Therefore {thus} saith the LORD; Behold, I will plead thy cause, and take vengeance for thee; and I will dry up her sea, and make her springs dry. thus {Thus} saith the LORD of hosts; The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly broken, and her high gates shall be burned with fire; and the people shall labour in vain, and the folk in the fire, and they shall be weary. thus And thou shalt say, Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her: and they shall be weary. {Thus} far [are] the words of Jeremiah. thus And thou shalt say, {Thus} shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her: and they shall be weary. Thus far [are] the words of Jeremiah. thus And the king of Babylon smote them, and put them to death in Riblah in the land of Hamath. {Thus} Judah was carried away captive out of his own land. thus {Thus} [were] their faces: and their wings [were] stretched upward; two [wings] of every one [were] joined one to another, and two covered their bodies. thus For [they are] impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD. thus And go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear. thus But when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shalt say unto them, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; He that heareth, let him hear; and he that forbeareth, let him forbear: for they [are] a rebellious house. thus And the LORD said, Even {thus} shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will drive them. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; This [is] Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries [that are] round about her. thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that [are] round about you, [and] have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations t hat [are] round about you; thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, [am] against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations. thus {Thus} shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the LORD have spoken [it] in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them. thus And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; {Thus} saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, [even] I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Smite with thine hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence. thus He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that remaineth and is besieged shall die by the famine: {thus} will I accomplish my fury upon them. thus Also, thou son of man, {thus} saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come. thus And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; {Thus} saith the LORD; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, [every one of] them. thus And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the LORD; {Thus} have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, [every one of] them. thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they [are] the flesh, and this [city is] the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it. thus Therefore say, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come. thus Therefore say, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. thus Say thou unto them, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; This burden [concerneth] the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel that [are] among them. thus And say unto the people of the land, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, [and] of the land of Israel; They shall eat their bread with carefulness, and drink their water with astonishment, that her land may be desola te from all that is therein, because of the violence of all them that dwell therein. thus Tell them therefore, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision. thus Therefore say unto them, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord GOD. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I [am] against you, saith the Lord GOD. thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend [it] with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in [my] fury to consume [it]. thus {Thus} will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered [mortar], and will say unto you, The wall [is] no [more], neither they that daubed it; thus And say, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the [women] that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive [that come] un to you? thus Wherefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make [them] fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, [even] the souls that ye hunt to make [them] f ly. thus Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols; thus Therefore say unto the house of Israel, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn [yourselves] from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations. thus For {thus} saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast? thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; As the vine tree among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so will I give the inhabitants of Jerusalem. thus And say, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD unto Jerusalem; Thy birth and thy nativity [is] of the land of Canaan; thy father [was] an Amorite, and thy mother an Hittite. thus {Thus} wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment [was of] fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a kingdom. thus My meat also which I gave thee, fine flour, and oil, and honey, [wherewith] I fed thee, thou hast even set it before them for a sweet savour: and [{thus}] it was, saith the Lord GOD. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy abominations, and by the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto them; thus For {thus} saith the Lord GOD; I will even deal with thee as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in breaking the covenant. thus And say, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle with great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar: thus Say thou, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Shall it prosper? shall he not pull up the roots thereof, and cut off the fruit thereof, that it wither? it shall wither in all the leaves of her spring, even without great power or many people to pluck it up by the roots thereof. thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; [As] I live, surely mine oath that he hath despised, and my covenant that he hath broken, even it will I recompense upon his own head. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar, and will set [it]; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant [it] upon an high mountain and eminent: thus Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Are ye come to inquire of me? [As] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be inquired of by you. thus And say unto them, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up mine hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up mine hand unto them, saying, I [am] the LORD your God; thus Therefore, son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and say unto them, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Yet in this your fathers have blasphemed me, in that they have committed a trespass against me. thus Wherefore say unto the house of Israel, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Are ye polluted after the manner of your fathers? and commit ye whoredom after their abominations? thus As for you, O house of Israel, {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter [also], if ye will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy name no more with your gifts, and with your idols. thus And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein. thus And say to the land of Israel, {Thus} saith the LORD; Behold, I [am] against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked. thus Son of man, prophesy, and say, {Thus} saith the LORD; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished: thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, [I say], that ye are come to remembrance, ye sh all be taken with the hand. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this [shall] not [be] the same: exalt [him that is] low, and abase [him that is] high. thus And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say thou, The sword, the sword [is] drawn: for the slaughter [it is] furbished, to consume because of the glit tering: thus Then say thou, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD, The city sheddeth blood in the midst of it, that her time may come, and maketh idols against herself to defile herself. thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Because ye are all become dross, behold, therefore I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem. thus And her prophets have daubed them with untempered [mortar], seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not spoken. thus And the names of them [were] Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bare sons and daughters. {Thus} [were] their names; Samaria [is] Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah. thus {Thus} she committed her whoredoms with them, with all them [that were] the chosen men of Assyria, and with all on whom she doted: with all their idols she defiled herself. thus {Thus} thou calledst to remembrance the lewdness of thy youth, in bruising thy teats by the Egyptians for the paps of thy youth. thus Therefore, O Aholibah, {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy mind is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every side; thus {Thus} will I make thy lewdness to cease from thee, and thy whoredom [brought] from the land of Egypt: so that thou shalt not lift up thine eyes unto them, nor remember Egypt any more. thus For {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will deliver thee into the hand [of them] whom thou hatest, into the hand [of them] from whom thy mind is alienated: thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Thou shalt drink of thy sister's cup deep and large: thou shalt be laughed to scorn and had in derision; it containeth much. thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy lewdness and thy whoredoms. thus For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo, {thus} have they done in the midst of mine house. thus For {thus} saith the Lord GOD; I will bring up a company upon them, and will give them to be removed and spoiled. thus {Thus} will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to do after your lewdness. thus And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Set on a pot, set [it] on, and also pour water into it: thus Wherefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum [is] therein, and whose scum is not gone out of it! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it. thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great. thus Speak unto the house of Israel, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the sword. thus {Thus} Ezekiel is unto you a sign: according to all that he hath done shall ye do: and when this cometh, ye shall know that I [am] the Lord GOD. thus And say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord GOD; {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Juda h, when they went into captivity; thus For {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast clapped [thine] hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of Israel; thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah [is] like unto all the heathen; thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them; thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy [it] for the old hatred; thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast. thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, O Tyrus, and will cause many nations to come up against thee, as the sea causeth his waves to come up. thus For {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring upon Tyrus Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, a king of kings, from the north, with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and companies, and much people. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD to Tyrus; Shall not the isles shake at the sound of thy fall, when the wounded cry, when the slaughter is made in the midst of thee? thus For {thus} saith the Lord GOD; When I shall make thee a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I shall bring up the deep upon thee, and great waters shall cover thee; thus And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, [which art] a merchant of the people for many isles, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I [am] of perfect beauty. thus Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart [is] lifted up, and thou hast said, I [am] a God, I sit [in] the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou [art] a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God: thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God; thus Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. thus And say, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob. thus Speak, and say, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river [is] mine own, and I have made [it] for myself. thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring a sword upon thee, and cut off man and beast out of thee. thus Yet {thus} saith the Lord GOD; At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the people whither they were scattered: thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army. thus Son of man, prophesy and say, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Howl ye, Woe worth the day! thus {Thus} saith the LORD; They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord GOD. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; I will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause [their] images to cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt. thus {Thus} will I execute judgments in Egypt: and they shall know that I [am] the LORD. thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand. thus {Thus} was he fair in his greatness, in the length of his branches: for his root was by great waters. thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast lifted up thyself in height, and he hath shot up his top among the thick boughs, and his heart is lifted up in his height; thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; In the day when he went down to the grave I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all th e trees of the field fainted for him. thus To whom art thou {thus} like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with [them that be] slain by the sword. This [is] Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; I will therefore spread out my net over thee with a company of many people; and they shall bring thee up in my net. thus For {thus} saith the Lord GOD; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee. thus Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; {Thus} ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins [be] upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live? thus Wherefore say unto them, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land? thus Say thou thus unto them, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; [As] I live, surely they that [are] in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that [is] in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that [be] in the forts a nd in the caves shall die of the pestilence. thus Say thou {thus} unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; [As] I live, surely they that [are] in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that [is] in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that [be] in the forts a nd in the caves shall die of the pestilence. thus Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe [be] to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks? thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them. thus For {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, [even] I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out. thus And [as for] you, O my flock, {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats. thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD unto them; Behold, I, [even] I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle. thus {Thus} shall they know that I the LORD their God [am] with them, and [that] they, [even] the house of Israel, [are] my people, saith the Lord GOD. thus And say unto it, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, I [am] against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate. thus {Thus} will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth. thus {Thus} with your mouth ye have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard [them]. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession: thus Therefore prophesy and say, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Because they have made [you] desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, an d [are] an infamy of the people: thus Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; {Thus} saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that [are] round about; thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all [their] heart, with des piteful minds, to cast it out for a prey. thus Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the sh ame of the heathen: thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that [are] about you, they shall bear their shame. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Because they say unto you, Thou [land] devourest up men, and hast bereaved thy nations; thus Therefore say unto the house of Israel, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; I do not [this] for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause [you] to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; I will yet [for] this be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do [it] for them; I will increase them with men like a flock. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: thus Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. thus Therefore prophesy and say unto them, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. thus Say unto them, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which [is] in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, [even] with the stick of Judah, and make them one stic k, and they shall be one in mine hand. thus And say unto them, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: thus And say, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, [that] at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought: thus Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know [it]? thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; [Art] thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days [many] years that I would bring thee against them? thus {Thus} will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I [am] the LORD. thus Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: thus And also the name of the city [shall be] Hamonah. {Thus} shall they cleanse the land. thus And, thou son of man, {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, [even] a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood. thus {Thus} ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD. thus Therefore {thus} saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name; thus And he said unto me, Son of man, {thus} saith the Lord GOD; These [are] the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon. thus And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put [it] on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: {thus} shalt thou cleanse and purge it. thus And thou shalt say to the rebellious, [even] to the house of Israel, {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; O ye house of Israel, let it suffice you of all your abominations, thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that [is] among the children of Israel. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; Let it suffice you, O princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute judgment and justice, take away your exactions from my people, saith the Lord GOD. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; In the first [month], in the first [day] of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish, and cleanse the sanctuary: thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened. thus {Thus} shall they prepare the lamb, and the meat offering, and the oil, every morning [for] a continual burnt offering. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; If the prince give a gift unto any of his sons, the inheritance thereof shall be his sons'; it [shall be] their possession by inheritance. thus {Thus} saith the Lord GOD; This [shall be] the border, whereby ye shall inherit the land according to the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph [shall have two] portions. thus {Thus} Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse. thus Therefore Daniel went in unto Arioch, whom the king had ordained to destroy the wise [men] of Babylon: he went and said {thus} unto him; Destroy not the wise [men] of Babylon: bring me in before the king, and I will show unto the king the interpretation. thus Then Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste, and said {thus} unto him, I have found a man of the captives of Judah, that will make known unto the king the interpretation. thus {Thus} [were] the visions of mine head in my bed; I saw, and behold, a tree in the midst of the earth, and the height thereof [was] great. thus He cried aloud, and said {thus}, Hew down the tree, and cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from his branches: thus Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said {thus} unto him, King Darius, live for ever. thus And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and [it had] three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said {thus} unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. thus {Thus} he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. thus He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; {thus} shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand [on his side], neither be for him. thus {Thus} shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge [and] increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain. thus They have spoken words, swearing falsely in making a covenant: {thus} judgment springeth up as hemlock in the furrows of the field. thus {Thus} saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment] thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron: thus {Thus} saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment] thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver [them] up to Edom: thus {Thus} saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Tyrus, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment] thereof; because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant: thus {Thus} saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment] thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he k ept his wrath for ever: thus {Thus} saith the LORD; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment] thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border: thus {Thus} saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away [the punishment] thereof;
