siege <DEU20 -19> When thou shalt besiege a city a long time, in

making war against it to take it, thou shalt not destroy the

trees

thereof by forcing an ax against them: for thou mayest eat of

them,

and thou shalt not cut them down (for the tree of the f

ield [is] man's [life]) to employ [them] in the {siege}:

siege <DEU28 -53> And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body,

the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy

God

hath given thee, in the {siege}, and in the straitness, wherewith

thine enemies shall distress thee:

siege <DEU28 -55> So that he will not give to any of them of the

flesh of his children whom he shall eat: because he hath nothing

left him in the {siege}, and in the straitness, wherewith thine

enemies shall distress thee in all thy gates.

siege <DEU28 -57> And toward her young one that cometh out from

between her feet, and toward her children which she shall bear:

for

she shall eat them for want of all [things] secretly in the

{siege}

and straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall distress th

ee in thy gates.

siege <1KI15 -27> And Baasha the son of Ahijah, of the house of

Issachar, conspired against him; and Baasha smote him at

Gibbethon,

which [belonged] to the Philistines; for Nadab and all Israel

laid

{siege} to Gibbethon.

siege <2CH32 -9> After this did Sennacherib king of Assyria send

his

servants to Jerusalem, (but he [himself laid {siege}] against

Lachish, and all his power with him,) unto Hezekiah king of

Judah,

and unto all Judah that [were] at Jerusalem, saying,

siege <2CH32 -10> Thus saith Sennacherib king of Assyria,

Whereon do

ye trust, that ye abide in the {siege} in Jerusalem?

siege <ISA29 -3> And I will camp against thee round about, and

will

lay {siege} against thee with a mount, and I will raise forts

against thee.

siege <JER19 -9> And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their

sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall eat every

one

the flesh of his friend in the {siege} and straitness, wherewith

their enemies, and they that seek their lives, shall stra

iten them.

siege <EZE4 -2> And lay {siege} against it, and build a fort

against

it, and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it,

and

set [battering] rams against it round about.

siege <EZE4 -3> Moreover take thou unto thee an iron pan, and

set it

[for] a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face

against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay {siege}

against it. This [shall be] a sign to the house of Israe

l.

siege <EZE4 -7> Therefore thou shalt set thy face toward the

{siege}

of Jerusalem, and thine arm [shall be] uncovered, and thou shalt

prophesy against it.

siege <EZE4 -8> And, behold, I will lay bands upon thee, and thou

shalt not turn thee from one side to another, till thou hast

ended

the days of thy {siege}.

siege <EZE5 -2> Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the

midst

of the city, when the days of the {siege} are fulfilled: and thou

shalt take a third part, [and] smite about it with a knife: and a

third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will d

raw out a sword after them.

siege <MIC5 -1> Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of

troops:

he hath laid {siege} against us: they shall smite the judge of

Israel with a rod upon the cheek.

siege <NAH3 -14> Draw thee waters for the {siege}, fortify thy

strong holds: go into clay, and tread the mortar, make strong the

brickkiln.

siege <ZEC12 -2> Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling

unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the

{siege}

both against Judah [and] against Jerusalem.
