and he sware, {saying},

tribe:

saying <DEU1 -5> On this side Jordan, in the land of Moab, began
Moses to declare this law, {saying},
saying <DEU1 -6> The LORD our God spake unto us in Horeb,
{saying},
Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount:
saying <DEU1 -9> And I spake unto you at that time, {saying}, I
am
not able to bear you myself alone:
saying <DEU1 -16> And I charged your judges at that time,
{saying},
Hear [the causes] between your brethren, and judge righteously
between [every] man and his brother, and the stranger [that is]
with
him.
saying <DEU1 -23> And the {saying} pleased me well: and I took
twelve men of you, one of a tribe:
saying <DEU1 -28> Whither shall we go up? our brethren have
discouraged our heart, {saying}, The people [is] greater and
taller
than we; the cities [are] great and walled up to heaven; and
moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakims there.
saying <DEU1 -34> And the LORD heard the voice of your words, and
was wroth, and sware, {saying},
saying <DEU1 -37> Also the LORD was angry with me for your sakes,
{saying}, Thou also shalt not go in thither.
saying <DEU2 -2> And the LORD spake unto me, {saying},
saying <DEU2 -4> And command thou the people, {saying}, Ye [are]
to
pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau,
which
dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed
unto yourselves therefore:
saying <DEU2 -17> That the LORD spake unto me, {saying},
saying <DEU2 -26> And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of
Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace,
{saying},
saying <DEU3 -18> And I commanded you at that time, {saying}, The
LORD your God hath given you this land to possess it: ye shall
pass
over armed before your brethren the children of Israel, all [that
are] meet for the war.
saying <DEU3 -21> And I commanded Joshua at that time, {saying},
Thine eyes have seen all that the LORD your God hath done unto
these
two kings: so shall the LORD do unto all the kingdoms whither
thou
passest.
saying <DEU3 -23> And I besought the LORD at that time, {saying},
saying <DEU5 -5> I stood between the LORD and you at that time,
to
show you the word of the LORD: for ye were afraid by reason of
the
fire, and went not up into the mount;) {saying},
saying <DEU6 -20> And] when thy son asketh thee in time to come,
{saying}, What [mean] the testimonies, and the statutes, and the
judgments, which the LORD our God hath commanded you?
saying <DEU9 -4> Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the
LORD
thy God hath cast them out from before thee, {saying}, For my
righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land:
but
for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive t
hem out from before thee.
saying <DEU9 -13> Furthermore the LORD spake unto me, {saying}, I
have seen this people, and, behold, it [is] a stiffnecked people:
saying <DEU9 -23> Likewise when the LORD sent you from
Kadeshbarnea,
{saying}, Go up and possess the land which I have given you;
then ye
rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God, and ye
believed him not, nor hearkened to his voice.
saying <DEU12 -30> Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared
by
following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee;
and
that thou inquire not after their gods, {saying}, How did these
nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.
saying <DEU13 -2> And the sign or the wonder come to pass,
whereof
he spake unto thee, {saying}, Let us go after other gods, which
thou
hast not known, and let us serve them;
saying <DEU13 -6> If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy
son,
or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which
[is]
as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, {saying}, Let us go and
serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, n
or thy fathers;
saying <DEU13 -12> If thou shalt hear [say] in one of thy cities,
which the LORD thy God hath given thee to dwell there, {saying},
saying <DEU13 -13> Certain] men, the children of Belial, are gone
out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their
city, {saying}, Let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not
known;
saying <DEU15 -9> Beware that there be not a thought in thy
wicked
heart, {saying}, The seventh year, the year of release, is at
hand;
and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest
him
nought; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and i
t be sin unto thee.
saying <DEU15 -11> For the poor shall never cease out of the
land:
therefore I command thee, {saying}, Thou shalt open thine hand
wide
unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.
saying <DEU18 -16> According to all that thou desiredst of the
LORD
thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, {saying}, Let me not
hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this
great fire any more, that I die not.
saying <DEU19 -7> Wherefore I command thee, {saying}, Thou shalt
separate three cities for thee.
saying <DEU20 -5> And the officers shall speak unto the people,
{saying}, What man [is there] that hath built a new house, and
hath
not dedicated it? let him go and return to his house, lest he
die in
the battle, and another man dedicate it.
saying <DEU22 -17> And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech
[against her], {saying}, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet
these [are the tokens of] my daughter's virginity. And they shall
spread the cloth before the elders of the city.
saying <DEU27 -1> And Moses with the elders of Israel commanded
the
people, {saying}, Keep all the commandments which I command you
this
day.
saying <DEU27 -9> And Moses and the priests the Levites spake
unto
all Israel, {saying}, Take heed, and hearken, O Israel; this day
thou art become the people of the LORD thy God.
saying <DEU27 -11> And Moses charged the people the same day,
{saying},
saying <DEU29 -19> And it come to pass, when he heareth the
words of
this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, {saying}, I shall
have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to
add
drunkenness to thirst:
saying <DEU31 -10> And Moses commanded them, {saying}, At the
end of
[every] seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in
the
feast of tabernacles,
saying <DEU31 -25> That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare
the
ark of the covenant of the LORD, {saying},
saying <DEU32 -48> And the LORD spake unto Moses that selfsame
day,
{saying},
saying <DEU34 -4> And the LORD said unto him, This [is] the land
which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, {saying},
I
will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see [it] with
thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.
saying <JOS1 -1> Now after the death of Moses the servant of the
LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of
Nun, Moses' minister, {saying},
saying <JOS1 -10> Then Joshua commanded the officers of the
people,
{saying},
saying <JOS1 -11> Pass through the host, and command the people,
{saying}, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall
pass
over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD
your
God giveth you to possess it.
saying <JOS1 -12> And to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and
to
half the tribe of Manasseh, spake Joshua, {saying},
saying <JOS1 -13> Remember the word which Moses the servant of
the
LORD commanded you, {saying}, The LORD your God hath given you
rest,
and hath given you this land.
saying <JOS1 -16> And they answered Joshua, {saying}, All that
thou
commandest us we will do, and whithersoever thou sendest us, we
will
go.
saying <JOS2 -1> And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim
two
men to spy secretly, {saying}, Go view the land, even Jericho.
And
they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and
lodged
there.
saying <JOS2 -2> And it was told the king of Jericho, {saying},
Behold, there came men in hither to night of the children of
Israel
to search out the country.
saying <JOS2 -3> And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab,
{saying},
Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into
thine house: for they be come to search out all the country.
saying <JOS3 -3> And they commanded the people, {saying}, When ye
see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the priests
the Levites bearing it, then ye shall remove from your place,
and go
after it.
saying <JOS3 -6> And Joshua spake unto the priests, {saying},
Take
up the ark of the covenant, and pass over before the people. And
they took up the ark of the covenant, and went before the people.
saying <JOS3 -8> And thou shalt command the priests that bear the
ark of the covenant, {saying}, When ye are come to the brink of
the
water of Jordan, ye shall stand still in Jordan.
saying <JOS4 -1> And it came to pass, when all the people were
clean
passed over Jordan, that the LORD spake unto Joshua, {saying},
saying <JOS4 -3> And command ye them, {saying}, Take you hence
out
of the midst of Jordan, out of the place where the priests' feet
stood firm, twelve stones, and ye shall carry them over with you,
and leave them in the lodging place, where ye shall lodge
this night.
saying <JOS4 -6> That this may be a sign among you, [that] when
your
children ask [their fathers] in time to come, {saying}, What
[mean]
ye by these stones?
saying <JOS4 -15> And the LORD spake unto Joshua, {saying},
saying <JOS4 -17> Joshua therefore commanded the priests,
{saying},
Come ye up out of Jordan.
saying <JOS4 -21> And he spake unto the children of Israel,
saying,
When your children shall ask their fathers in time to come,
{saying}, What [mean] these stones?
saying <JOS4 -21> And he spake unto the children of Israel,
{saying}, When your children shall ask their fathers in time to
come, saying, What [mean] these stones?
saying <JOS4 -22> Then ye shall let your children know, {saying},
Israel came over this Jordan on dry land.
saying <JOS6 -10> And Joshua had commanded the people, {saying},
Ye
shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither
shall
[any] word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you
shout;
then shall ye shout.
saying <JOS6 -26> And Joshua adjured [them] at that time,
{saying},
Cursed [be] the man before the LORD, that riseth up and buildeth
this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his
firstborn, and in his youngest [son] shall he set up the gat
es of it.
saying <JOS7 -2> And Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which
[is]
beside Bethaven, on the east side of Bethel, and spake unto them,
{saying}, Go up and view the country. And the men went up and
viewed
Ai.
saying <JOS8 -4> And he commanded them, {saying}, Behold, ye
shall
lie in wait against the city, [even] behind the city: go not very
far from the city, but be ye all ready:
saying <JOS9 -11> Wherefore our elders and all the inhabitants of
our country spake to us, {saying}, Take victuals with you for the
journey, and go to meet them, and say unto them, We [are] your
servants: therefore now make ye a league with us.
saying <JOS9 -22> And Joshua called for them, and he spake unto
them, saying, Wherefore have ye beguiled us, {saying}, We [are]
very
far from you; when ye dwell among us?
saying <JOS9 -22> And Joshua called for them, and he spake unto
them, {saying}, Wherefore have ye beguiled us, saying, We [are]
very
far from you; when ye dwell among us?
saying <JOS10 -3> Wherefore Adonizedek king of Jerusalem sent
unto
Hoham king of Hebron, and unto Piram king of Jarmuth, and unto
Japhia king of Lachish, and unto Debir king of Eglon, {saying},
saying <JOS10 -6> And the men of Gibeon sent unto Joshua to the
camp
to Gilgal, {saying}, Slack not thy hand from thy servants; come
up
to us quickly, and save us, and help us: for all the kings of the
Amorites that dwell in the mountains are gathered tog
ether against us.
saying <JOS10 -17> And it was told Joshua, {saying}, The five
kings
are found hid in a cave at Makkedah.
saying <JOS14 -9> And Moses sware on that day, {saying}, Surely
the
land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance,
and
thy children's for ever, because thou hast wholly followed the
LORD
my God.
saying <JOS17 -4> And they came near before Eleazar the priest,
and
before Joshua the son of Nun, and before the princes, {saying},
The
LORD commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among our
brethren.
Therefore according to the commandment of the LORD h
e gave them an inheritance among the brethren of their father.
saying <JOS17 -14> And the children of Joseph spake unto Joshua,
{saying}, Why hast thou given me [but] one lot and one portion to
inherit, seeing I [am] a great people, forasmuch as the LORD hath
blessed me hitherto?
saying <JOS17 -17> And Joshua spake unto the house of Joseph,
[even]
to Ephraim and to Manasseh, {saying}, Thou [art] a great people,
and
hast great power: thou shalt not have one lot [only]:
saying <JOS18 -8> And the men arose, and went away: and Joshua
charged them that went to describe the land, {saying}, Go and
walk
through the land, and describe it, and come again to me, that I
may
here cast lots for you before the LORD in Shiloh.
saying <JOS20 -1> The LORD also spake unto Joshua, {saying},
saying <JOS20 -2> Speak to the children of Israel, {saying},
Appoint
out for you cities of refuge, whereof I spake unto you by the
hand
of Moses:
saying <JOS21 -2> And they spake unto them at Shiloh in the land
of
Canaan, {saying}, The LORD commanded by the hand of Moses to
give us
cities to dwell in, with the suburbs thereof for our cattle.
saying <JOS22 -8> And he spake unto them, {saying}, Return with
much
riches unto your tents, and with very much cattle, with silver,
and
with gold, and with brass, and with iron, and with very much
raiment: divide the spoil of your enemies with your breth
ren.
saying <JOS22 -15> And they came unto the children of Reuben,
and to
the children of Gad, and to the half tribe of Manasseh, unto the
land of Gilead, and they spake with them, {saying},
saying <JOS22 -24> And if we have not [rather] done it for fear
of
[this] thing, saying, In time to come your children might speak
unto
our children, {saying}, What have ye to do with the LORD God of
Israel?
saying <JOS22 -24> And if we have not [rather] done it for fear
of
[this] thing, {saying}, In time to come your children might speak
unto our children, saying, What have ye to do with the LORD God
of
Israel?
saying <JUG1 -1> Now after the death of Joshua it came to pass,
that
the children of Israel asked the LORD, {saying}, Who shall go up
for
us against the Canaanites first, to fight against them?
saying <JUG4 -6> And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam
out of Kedeshnaphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the LORD God
of
Israel commanded, [{saying}], Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and
take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Napht
ali and of the children of Zebulun?
saying <JUG5 -1> Then sang Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam
on
that day, {saying},
saying <JUG6 -13> And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the
LORD
be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where [be] all
his
miracles which our fathers told us of, {saying}, Did not the LORD
bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsak
en us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.
saying <JUG6 -32> Therefore on that day he called him Jerubbaal,
{saying}, Let Baal plead against him, because he hath thrown down
his altar.
saying <JUG7 -2> And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that
[are] with thee [are] too many for me to give the Midianites into
their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, {saying},
Mine
own hand hath saved me.
saying <JUG7 -3> Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the
people, {saying}, Whosoever [is] fearful and afraid, let him
return
and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the
people
twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thou
sand.
saying <JUG7 -24> And Gideon sent messengers throughout all mount
Ephraim, {saying}, Come down against the Midianites, and take
before
them the waters unto Bethbarah and Jordan. Then all the men of
Ephraim gathered themselves together, and took the waters
unto Bethbarah and Jordan.
saying <JUG8 -9> And he spake also unto the men of Penuel,
{saying},
When I come again in peace, I will break down this tower.
saying <JUG8 -15> And he came unto the men of Succoth, and said,
Behold Zebah and Zalmunna with whom ye did upbraid me, {saying},
[Are] the hands of Zebah and Zalmunna now in thine hand, that we
should give bread unto thy men [that are] weary?

saying <JUG15 -13> And they spake unto him, {saying}, No; but we

I do
for my son?

[is]
this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of
the living God?
saying <1SA17 -27> And the people answered him after this manner,
{saying}, So shall it be done to the man that killeth him.

On
this manner spake David.

thee: now therefore, I pray thee, take heed to thyself until the
morning, and abide in a secret [place], and hide thyself:
saying <1SA19 -11> Saul also sent messengers unto David's house,

the

saying <1SA26 -19> Now therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the
king
hear the words of his servant. If the LORD have stirred thee up

children of men, cursed [be] they before the LORD; for they ha
ve driven me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of the
LORD, {saying}, Go, serve other gods.

are that none [touch] the young man Absalom.
saying <2SA19 -8> Then the king arose, and sat in the gate. And

fled
every man to his tent.
saying <2SA19 -9> And all the people were at strife throughout
all
the tribes of Israel, {saying}, The king saved us out of the
hand of
our enemies, and he delivered us out of the hand of the
Philistines;

saying <2SA19 -11> And king David sent to Zadok and to Abiathar
the

of all Israel is come to the king, [even] to his hous
e.
saying <2SA19 -11> And king David sent to Zadok and to Abiathar
the

are
ye the last to bring the king back to his house? seeing the
speech
of all Israel is come to the king, [even] to his hous
e.

speak
in old time, saying, They shall surely ask [counsel] at Abel:
and so
they ended [the matter].
saying <2SA21 -17> But Abishai the son of Zeruiah succoured him,

went
up as the LORD commanded.

horsemen,
and fifty men to run before him.
saying <1KI1 -6> And his father had not displeased him at any
time
in {saying}, Why hast thou done so? and he also [was a] very

[man]; and [his mother] bare him after Absalom.

mother
of Solomon, {saying}, Hast thou not heard that Adonijah the son
of
Haggith doth reign, and David our lord knoweth [it] not?
saying <1KI1 -13> Go and get thee in unto king David, and say
unto
him, Didst not thou, my lord, O king, swear unto thine handmaid,
{saying}, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he
shall sit upon my throne? why then doth Adonijah reign?
saying <1KI1 -17> And she said unto him, My lord, thou swarest by
the LORD thy God unto thine handmaid, [{saying}], Assuredly
Solomon
thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne.
saying <1KI1 -23> And they told the king, {saying}, Behold Nathan
the prophet. And when he was come in before the king, he bowed
himself before the king with his face to the ground.
saying <1KI1 -30> Even as I sware unto thee by the LORD God of
Israel, {saying}, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me,
and he shall sit upon my throne in my stead; even so will I
certainly do this day.
saying <1KI1 -47> And moreover the king's servants came to bless
our
lord king David, {saying}, God make the name of Solomon better
than
thy name, and make his throne greater than thy throne. And the
king
bowed himself upon the bed.
saying <1KI1 -51> And it was told Solomon, {saying}, Behold,
Adonijah feareth king Solomon: for, lo, he hath caught hold on
the
horns of the altar, saying, Let king Solomon swear unto me to day
that he will not slay his servant with the sword.
saying <1KI1 -51> And it was told Solomon, saying, Behold,
Adonijah
feareth king Solomon: for, lo, he hath caught hold on the horns
of
the altar, {saying}, Let king Solomon swear unto me to day that
he
will not slay his servant with the sword.
saying <1KI2 -1> Now the days of David drew nigh that he should
die;
and he charged Solomon his son, {saying},
saying <1KI2 -4> That the LORD may continue his word which he
spake
concerning me, {saying}, If thy children take heed to their way,
to
walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their
soul, there shall not fail thee (said he) a man on the
throne of Israel.
saying <1KI2 -8> And, behold, [thou hast] with thee Shimei the
son
of Gera, a Benjamite of Bahurim, which cursed me with a grievous
curse in the day when I went to Mahanaim: but he came down to
meet
me at Jordan, and I sware to him by the LORD, {saying},
I will not put thee to death with the sword.
saying <1KI2 -23> Then king Solomon sware by the LORD, {saying},
God
do so to me, and more also, if Adonijah have not spoken this word
against his own life.
saying <1KI2 -29> And it was told king Solomon that Joab was fled
unto the tabernacle of the LORD; and, behold, [he is] by the
altar.
Then Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, {saying}, Go, fall
upon him.
saying <1KI2 -30> And Benaiah came to the tabernacle of the LORD,
and said unto him, Thus saith the king, Come forth. And he said,
Nay; but I will die here. And Benaiah brought the king word
again,
{saying}, Thus said Joab, and thus he answered me.
saying <1KI2 -38> And Shimei said unto the king, The {saying}
[is]
good: as my lord the king hath said, so will thy servant do. And
Shimei dwelt in Jerusalem many days.
saying <1KI2 -39> And it came to pass at the end of three years,
that two of the servants of Shimei ran away unto Achish son of
Maachah king of Gath. And they told Shimei, {saying}, Behold, thy
servants [be] in Gath.
saying <1KI2 -42> And the king sent and called for Shimei, and
said
unto him, Did I not make thee to swear by the LORD, and protested
unto thee, {saying}, Know for a certain, on the day thou goest
out,
and walkest abroad any whither, that thou shalt surel
y die? and thou saidst unto me, The word [that] I have heard [is]
good.
saying <1KI5 -2> And Solomon sent to Hiram, {saying},
saying <1KI5 -5> And, behold, I purpose to build an house unto
the
name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spake unto David my father,
{saying}, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room,
he
shall build an house unto my name.
saying <1KI5 -8> And Hiram sent to Solomon, {saying}, I have
considered the things which thou sentest to me for: [and] I will
do
all thy desire concerning timber of cedar, and concerning timber
of
fir.
saying <1KI6 -11> And the word of the LORD came to Solomon,
{saying},
saying <1KI8 -15> And he said, Blessed [be] the LORD God of
Israel,
which spake with his mouth unto David my father, and hath with
his
hand fulfilled [it], {saying},
saying <1KI8 -25> Therefore now, LORD God of Israel, keep with
thy
servant David my father that thou promisedst him, {saying}, There
shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of
Israel; so that thy children take heed to their way, that th
ey walk before me as thou hast walked before me.
saying <1KI8 -47> Yet] if they shall bethink themselves in the
land
whither they were carried captives, and repent, and make
supplication unto thee in the land of them that carried them
captives, {saying}, We have sinned, and have done perversely, we
have
committed wickedness;
saying <1KI8 -55> And he stood, and blessed all the congregation
of
Israel with a loud voice, {saying},
saying <1KI9 -5> Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom
upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father,
{saying},
There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.
saying <1KI12 -3> That they sent and called him. And Jeroboam and
all the congregation of Israel came, and spake unto Rehoboam,
{saying},
saying <1KI12 -7> And they spake unto him, {saying}, If thou
wilt be
a servant unto this people this day, and wilt serve them, and
answer
them, and speak good words to them, then they will be thy
servants
for ever.
saying <1KI12 -9> And he said unto them, What counsel give ye
that
we may answer this people, who have spoken to me, {saying}, Make
the
yoke which thy father did put upon us lighter?
saying <1KI12 -10> And the young men that were grown up with him
spake unto him, {saying}, Thus shalt thou speak unto this people
that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but
make thou [it] lighter unto us; thus shalt thou say unto th
em, My little [finger] shall be thicker than my father's loins.
saying <1KI12 -10> And the young men that were grown up with him
spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt thou speak unto this people
that
spake unto thee, {saying}, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but
make
thou [it] lighter unto us; thus shalt thou say unto th
em, My little [finger] shall be thicker than my father's loins.
saying <1KI12 -12> So Jeroboam and all the people came to
Rehoboam
the third day, as the king had appointed, {saying}, Come to me
again
the third day.
saying <1KI12 -14> And spake to them after the counsel of the
young
men, {saying}, My father made your yoke heavy, and I will add to
your yoke: my father [also] chastised you with whips, but I will
chastise you with scorpions.
saying <1KI12 -15> Wherefore the king hearkened not unto the
people;
for the cause was from the LORD, that he might perform his
{saying},
which the LORD spake by Ahijah the Shilonite unto Jeroboam the
son
of Nebat.
saying <1KI12 -16> So when all Israel saw that the king hearkened
not unto them, the people answered the king, {saying}, What
portion
have we in David? neither [have we] inheritance in the son of
Jesse:
to your tents, O Israel: now see to thine own house,
David. So Israel departed unto their tents.
saying <1KI12 -22> But the word of God came unto Shemaiah the
man of
God, {saying},
saying <1KI12 -23> Speak unto Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, king
of
Judah, and unto all the house of Judah and Benjamin, and to the
remnant of the people, {saying},
saying <1KI13 -3> And he gave a sign the same day, {saying}, This
[is] the sign which the LORD hath spoken; Behold, the altar
shall be
rent, and the ashes that [are] upon it shall be poured out.
saying <1KI13 -4> And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard
the
{saying} of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in
Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay
hold
on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him,
dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.
saying <1KI13 -4> And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard
the
saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in
Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, {saying}, Lay
hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him,
dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.
saying <1KI13 -9> For so was it charged me by the word of the
LORD,
{saying}, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the
same
way that thou camest.
saying <1KI13 -18> He said unto him, I [am] a prophet also as
thou
[art]; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD,
{saying},
Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread
and
drink water. [But] he lied unto him.
saying <1KI13 -21> And he cried unto the man of God that came
from
Judah, {saying}, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast
disobeyed the mouth of the LORD, and hast not kept the
commandment
which the LORD thy God commanded thee,
saying <1KI13 -27> And he spake to his sons, {saying}, Saddle me
the
ass. And they saddled [him].
saying <1KI13 -30> And he laid his carcase in his own grave; and
they mourned over him, [{saying}], Alas, my brother!
saying <1KI13 -31> And it came to pass, after he had buried him,
that he spake to his sons, {saying}, When I am dead, then bury
me in
the sepulchre wherein the man of God [is] buried; lay my bones
beside his bones:
saying <1KI13 -32> For the {saying} which he cried by the word of
the LORD against the altar in Bethel, and against all the houses
of
the high places which [are] in the cities of Samaria, shall
surely
come to pass.
saying <1KI15 -18> Then Asa took all the silver and the gold
[that
were] left in the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the
treasures of the king's house, and delivered them into the hand
of
his servants: and king Asa sent them to Benhadad, the son o
f Tabrimon, the son of Hezion, king of Syria, that dwelt at
Damascus, {saying},
saying <1KI15 -29> And it came to pass, when he reigned, [that]
he
smote all the house of Jeroboam; he left not to Jeroboam any that
breathed, until he had destroyed him, according unto the
{saying} of
the LORD, which he spake by his servant Ahijah the Sh
ilonite:
saying <1KI16 -1> Then the word of the LORD came to Jehu the son
of
Hanani against Baasha, {saying},
saying <1KI17 -2> And the word of the LORD came unto him,
{saying},
saying <1KI17 -8> And the word of the LORD came unto him,
{saying},
saying <1KI17 -15> And she went and did according to the
{saying} of
Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat [many] days.
saying <1KI18 -1> And it came to pass [after] many days, that the
word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, {saying}, Go,
show thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth.
saying <1KI18 -26> And they took the bullock which was given
them,
and they dressed [it], and called on the name of Baal from
morning
even until noon, {saying}, O Baal, hear us. But [there was] no
voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the alt
ar which was made.
saying <1KI18 -31> And Elijah took twelve stones, according to
the
number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of
the
LORD came, {saying}, Israel shall be thy name:
saying <1KI19 -2> Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah,
{saying}, So let the gods do [to me], and more also, if I make
not
thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time.
saying <1KI20 -4> And the king of Israel answered and said, My
lord,
O king, according to thy {saying}, I [am] thine, and all that I
have.
saying <1KI20 -5> And the messengers came again, and said, Thus
speaketh Benhadad, saying, Although I have sent unto thee,
{saying},
Thou shalt deliver me thy silver, and thy gold, and thy wives,
and
thy children;
saying <1KI20 -5> And the messengers came again, and said, Thus
speaketh Benhadad, {saying}, Although I have sent unto thee,
saying,
Thou shalt deliver me thy silver, and thy gold, and thy wives,
and
thy children;
saying <1KI20 -13> And, behold, there came a prophet unto Ahab
king
of Israel, {saying}, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou seen all this
great multitude? behold, I will deliver it into thine hand this
day;
and thou shalt know that I [am] the LORD.
saying <1KI20 -17> And the young men of the princes of the
provinces
went out first; and Benhadad sent out, and they told him,
{saying},
There are men come out of Samaria.
saying <1KI21 -2> And Ahab spake unto Naboth, {saying}, Give me
thy
vineyard, that I may have it for a garden of herbs, because it
[is]
near unto my house: and I will give thee for it a better vineyard
than it; [or], if it seem good to thee, I will give t
hee the worth of it in money.
saying <1KI21 -9> And she wrote in the letters, {saying},
Proclaim a
fast, and set Naboth on high among the people:
saying <1KI21 -10> And set two men, sons of Belial, before him,
to
bear witness against him, {saying}, Thou didst blaspheme God and
the
king. And [then] carry him out, and stone him, that he may die.
saying <1KI21 -13> And there came in two men, children of Belial,
and sat before him: and the men of Belial witnessed against him,
[even] against Naboth, in the presence of the people, {saying},
Naboth did blaspheme God and the king. Then they carried him
forth out of the city, and stoned him with stones, that he died.
saying <1KI21 -14> Then they sent to Jezebel, {saying}, Naboth is
stoned, and is dead.
saying <1KI21 -17> And the word of the LORD came to Elijah the
Tishbite, {saying},
saying <1KI21 -19> And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus
saith
the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? And thou
shalt speak unto him, {saying}, Thus saith the LORD, In the place
where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick th
y blood, even thine.
saying <1KI21 -19> And thou shalt speak unto him, {saying}, Thus
saith the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? And
thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, In the
place
where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick th
y blood, even thine.
saying <1KI21 -23> And of Jezebel also spake the LORD, {saying},
The
dogs shall eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel.
saying <1KI21 -28> And the word of the LORD came to Elijah the
Tishbite, {saying},
saying <1KI22 -12> And all the prophets prophesied so, {saying},
Go
up to Ramothgilead, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver [it]
into the king's hand.
saying <1KI22 -13> And the messenger that was gone to call
Micaiah
spake unto him, {saying}, Behold now, the words of the prophets
[declare] good unto the king with one mouth: let thy word, I pray
thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak [that whi
ch is] good.
saying <1KI22 -31> But the king of Syria commanded his thirty and
two captains that had rule over his chariots, {saying}, Fight
neither with small nor great, save only with the king of Israel.
saying <1KI22 -36> And there went a proclamation throughout the
host
about the going down of the sun, {saying}, Every man to his city,
and every man to his own country.
saying <2KI2 -22> So the waters were healed unto this day,
according
to the {saying} of Elisha which he spake.
saying <2KI3 -7> And he went and sent to Jehoshaphat the king of
Judah, {saying}, The king of Moab hath rebelled against me: wilt
thou go with me against Moab to battle? And he said, I will go
up: I
[am] as thou [art], my people as thy people, [and] my ho
rses as thy horses.
saying <2KI4 -1> Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of
the
sons of the prophets unto Elisha, {saying}, Thy servant my
husband
is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and
the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to
be bondmen.
saying <2KI4 -31> And Gehazi passed on before them, and laid the
staff upon the face of the child; but [there was] neither voice,
nor
hearing. Wherefore he went again to meet him, and told him,
{saying}, The child is not awaked.
saying <2KI5 -4> And [one] went in, and told his lord, {saying},
Thus and thus said the maid that [is] of the land of Israel.
saying <2KI5 -6> And he brought the letter to the king of Israel,
{saying}, Now when this letter is come unto thee, behold, I have
[therewith] sent Naaman my servant to thee, that thou mayest
recover
him of his leprosy.
saying <2KI5 -8> And it was [so], when Elisha the man of God had
heard that the king of Israel had rent his clothes, that he sent
to
the king, {saying}, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let him
come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophe
t in Israel.
saying <2KI5 -10> And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, {saying},
Go
and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to
thee, and thou shalt be clean.
saying <2KI5 -14> Then went he down, and dipped himself seven
times
in Jordan, according to the {saying} of the man of God: and his
flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he
was
clean.
saying <2KI5 -22> And he said, All [is] well. My master hath sent
me, {saying}, Behold, even now there be come to me from mount
Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets: give them, I
pray
thee, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments.
saying <2KI6 -8> Then the king of Syria warred against Israel,
and
took counsel with his servants, {saying}, In such and such a
place
[shall be] my camp.
saying <2KI6 -9> And the man of God sent unto the king of Israel,
{saying}, Beware that thou pass not such a place; for thither the
Syrians are come down.
saying <2KI6 -13> And he said, Go and spy where he [is], that I
may
send and fetch him. And it was told him, {saying}, Behold, [he
is]
in Dothan.
saying <2KI6 -26> And as the king of Israel was passing by upon
the
wall, there cried a woman unto him, {saying}, Help, my lord, O
king.
saying <2KI7 -10> So they came and called unto the porter of the
city: and they told them, {saying}, We came to the camp of the
Syrians, and, behold, [there was] no man there, neither voice of
man, but horses tied, and asses tied, and the tents as they [w
ere].
saying <2KI7 -12> And the king arose in the night, and said unto
his
servants, I will now show you what the Syrians have done to us.
They
know that we [be] hungry; therefore are they gone out of the
camp to
hide themselves in the field, {saying}, When the
y come out of the city, we shall catch them alive, and get into
the
city.
saying <2KI7 -14> They took therefore two chariot horses; and the
king sent after the host of the Syrians, {saying}, Go and see.
saying <2KI7 -18> And it came to pass as the man of God had
spoken
to the king, {saying}, Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a
measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be to morrow about this
time in the gate of Samaria:
saying <2KI8 -1> Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he
had
restored to life, {saying}, Arise, and go thou and thine
household,
and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the LORD hath
called
for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land
seven years.
saying <2KI8 -2> And the woman arose, and did after the {saying}
of
the man of God: and she went with her household, and sojourned in
the land of the Philistines seven years.
saying <2KI8 -4> And the king talked with Gehazi the servant of
the
man of God, {saying}, Tell me, I pray thee, all the great things
that Elisha hath done.
saying <2KI8 -6> And when the king asked the woman, she told him.
So
the king appointed unto her a certain officer, {saying}, Restore
all
that [was] hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day
that
she left the land, even until now.
saying <2KI8 -7> And Elisha came to Damascus; and Benhadad the
king
of Syria was sick; and it was told him, {saying}, The man of God
is
come hither.
saying <2KI8 -8> And the king said unto Hazael, Take a present in
thine hand, and go, meet the man of God, and inquire of the LORD
by
him, {saying}, Shall I recover of this disease?
saying <2KI8 -9> So Hazael went to meet him, and took a present
with
him, even of every good thing of Damascus, forty camels' burden,
and
came and stood before him, and said, Thy son Benhadad king of
Syria
hath sent me to thee, {saying}, Shall I recover o
f this disease?
saying <2KI9 -12> And they said, [It is] false; tell us now. And
he
said, Thus and thus spake he to me, {saying}, Thus saith the
LORD, I
have anointed thee king over Israel.
saying <2KI9 -13> Then they hasted, and took every man his
garment,
and put [it] under him on the top of the stairs, and blew with
trumpets, {saying}, Jehu is king.
saying <2KI9 -18> So there went one on horseback to meet him, and
said, Thus saith the king, [Is it] peace? And Jehu said, What
hast
thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchman
told,
{saying}, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not
again.
saying <2KI9 -20> And the watchman told, {saying}, He came even
unto
them, and cometh not again: and the driving [is] like the
driving of
Jehu the son of Nimshi; for he driveth furiously.
saying <2KI9 -36> Wherefore they came again, and told him. And he
said, This [is] the word of the LORD, which he spake by his
servant
Elijah the Tishbite, {saying}, In the portion of Jezreel shall
dogs
eat the flesh of Jezebel:
saying <2KI10 -1> And Ahab had seventy sons in Samaria. And Jehu
wrote letters, and sent to Samaria, unto the rulers of Jezreel,
to
the elders, and to them that brought up Ahab's [children],
{saying},
saying <2KI10 -5> And he that [was] over the house, and he that
[was] over the city, the elders also, and the bringers up [of the
children], sent to Jehu, {saying}, We [are] thy servants, and
will
do all that thou shalt bid us; we will not make any king:
do thou [that which is] good in thine eyes.
saying <2KI10 -6> Then he wrote a letter the second time to them,
{saying}, If ye [be] mine, and [if] ye will hearken unto my
voice,
take ye the heads of the men your master's sons, and come to me
to
Jezreel by to morrow this time. Now the king's sons, [b
eing] seventy persons, [were] with the great men of the city,
which
brought them up.
saying <2KI10 -8> And there came a messenger, and told him,
{saying}, They have brought the heads of the king's sons. And he
said, Lay ye them in two heaps at the entering in of the gate
until
the morning.
saying <2KI10 -17> And when he came to Samaria, he slew all that
remained unto Ahab in Samaria, till he had destroyed him,
according
to the {saying} of the LORD, which he spake to Elijah.
saying <2KI11 -5> And he commanded them, {saying}, This [is] the
thing that ye shall do; A third part of you that enter in on the
sabbath shall even be keepers of the watch of the king's house;
saying <2KI14 -6> But the children of the murderers he slew not:
according unto that which is written in the book of the law of
Moses, wherein the LORD commanded, {saying}, The fathers shall
not
be put to death for the children, nor the children be put to
death for the fathers; but every man shall be put to death for
his
own sin.
saying <2KI14 -8> Then Amaziah sent messengers to Jehoash, the
son
of Jehoahaz son of Jehu, king of Israel, {saying}, Come, let us
look
one another in the face.
saying <2KI14 -9> And Jehoash the king of Israel sent to Amaziah
king of Judah, saying, The thistle that [was] in Lebanon sent to
the
cedar that [was] in Lebanon, {saying}, Give thy daughter to my
son
to wife: and there passed by a wild beast that [was] i
n Lebanon, and trode down the thistle.
saying <2KI14 -9> And Jehoash the king of Israel sent to Amaziah
king of Judah, {saying}, The thistle that [was] in Lebanon sent
to
the cedar that [was] in Lebanon, saying, Give thy daughter to my
son
to wife: and there passed by a wild beast that [was] i
n Lebanon, and trode down the thistle.
saying <2KI15 -12> This [was] the word of the LORD which he spake
unto Jehu, {saying}, Thy sons shall sit on the throne of Israel
unto
the fourth [generation]. And so it came to pass.
saying <2KI16 -7> So Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglathpileser king
of
Assyria, {saying}, I [am] thy servant and thy son: come up, and
save
me out of the hand of the king of Syria, and out of the hand of
the
king of Israel, which rise up against me.
saying <2KI16 -15> And king Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest,
{saying}, Upon the great altar burn the morning burnt offering,
and
the evening meat offering, and the king's burnt sacrifice, and
his
meat offering, with the burnt offering of all the people o
f the land, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings;
and
sprinkle upon it all the blood of the burnt offering, and all the
blood of the sacrifice: and the brazen altar shall be for me to
inquire [by].
saying <2KI17 -13> Yet the LORD testified against Israel, and
against Judah, by all the prophets, [and by] all the seers,
{saying}, Turn ye from your evil ways, and keep my commandments
[and] my statutes, according to all the law which I commanded
your
fa
thers, and which I sent to you by my servants the prophets.
saying <2KI17 -26> Wherefore they spake to the king of Assyria,
{saying}, The nations which thou hast removed, and placed in the
cities of Samaria, know not the manner of the God of the land:
therefore he hath sent lions among them, and, behold, they slay
them, because they know not the manner of the God of the land.
saying <2KI17 -27> Then the king of Assyria commanded, {saying},
Carry thither one of the priests whom ye brought from thence; and
let them go and dwell there, and let him teach them the manner of
the God of the land.
saying <2KI17 -35> With whom the LORD had made a covenant, and
charged them, {saying}, Ye shall not fear other gods, nor bow
yourselves to them, nor serve them, nor sacrifice to them:
saying <2KI18 -14> And Hezekiah king of Judah sent to the king of
Assyria to Lachish, {saying}, I have offended; return from me:
that
which thou puttest on me will I bear. And the king of Assyria
appointed unto Hezekiah king of Judah three hundred talents
of silver and thirty talents of gold.
saying <2KI18 -28> Then Rabshakeh stood and cried with a loud
voice
in the Jews' language, and spake, {saying}, Hear the word of the
great king, the king of Assyria:
saying <2KI18 -30> Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the
LORD,
{saying}, The LORD will surely deliver us, and this city shall
not
be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.
saying <2KI18 -32> Until I come and take you away to a land like
your own land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread and
vineyards, a land of oil olive and of honey, that ye may live,
and
not die: and hearken not unto Hezekiah, when he persuadeth you,
{saying}, The LORD will deliver us.
saying <2KI18 -36> But the people held their peace, and answered
him
not a word: for the king's commandment was, {saying}, Answer him
not.
saying <2KI19 -9> And when he heard say of Tirhakah king of
Ethiopia, Behold, he is come out to fight against thee: he sent
messengers again unto Hezekiah, {saying},
saying <2KI19 -10> Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah,
{saying}, Let not thy God in whom thou trustest deceive thee,
saying, Jerusalem shall not be delivered into the hand of the
king
of Assyria.
saying <2KI19 -10> Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah,
saying, Let not thy God in whom thou trustest deceive thee,
{saying}, Jerusalem shall not be delivered into the hand of the
king
of Assyria.
saying <2KI19 -20> Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah,
{saying}, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, [That] which thou
hast
prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria I have heard.
saying <2KI20 -2> Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed
unto the LORD, {saying},
saying <2KI20 -4> And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out
into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him,
{saying},
saying <2KI21 -10> And the LORD spake by his servants the
prophets,
{saying},
saying <2KI22 -3> And it came to pass in the eighteenth year of
king
Josiah, [that] the king sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah, the son
of
Meshullam, the scribe, to the house of the LORD, {saying},
saying <2KI22 -10> And Shaphan the scribe showed the king,
{saying},
Hilkiah the priest hath delivered me a book. And Shaphan read it
before the king.
saying <2KI22 -12> And the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, and
Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Achbor the son of Michaiah, and
Shaphan the scribe, and Asahiah a servant of the king's,
{saying},
saying <2KI23 -21> And the king commanded all the people,
{saying},
Keep the passover unto the LORD your God, as [it is] written in
the
book of this covenant.
saying <1CH4 -9> And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren:
and his mother called his name Jabez, {saying}, Because I bare
him
with sorrow.
saying <1CH4 -10> And Jabez called on the God of Israel,
{saying},
Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and
that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep
[me]
from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted hi
m that which he requested.
saying <1CH11 -1> Then all Israel gathered themselves to David
unto
Hebron, {saying}, Behold, we [are] thy bone and thy flesh.
saying <1CH12 -19> And there fell [some] of Manasseh to David,
when
he came with the Philistines against Saul to battle: but they
helped
them not: for the lords of the Philistines upon advisement sent
him
away, {saying}, He will fall to his master Saul to
[the jeopardy of] our heads.
saying <1CH13 -12> And David was afraid of God that day,
{saying},
How shall I bring the ark of God [home] to me?
saying <1CH14 -10> And David inquired of God, {saying}, Shall I
go
up against the Philistines? and wilt thou deliver them into mine
hand? And the LORD said unto him, Go up; for I will deliver them
into thine hand.
saying <1CH16 -18> {Saying}, Unto thee will I give the land of
Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;
saying <1CH16 -22> {Saying}], Touch not mine anointed, and do my
prophets no harm.
saying <1CH17 -3> And it came to pass the same night, that the
word
of God came to Nathan, {saying},
saying <1CH17 -6> Wheresoever I have walked with all Israel,
spake I
a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed
my
people, {saying}, Why have ye not built me an house of cedars?
saying <1CH17 -24> Let it even be established, that thy name may
be
magnified for ever, {saying}, The LORD of hosts [is] the God of
Israel, [even] a God to Israel: and [let] the house of David thy
servant [be] established before thee.
saying <1CH21 -9> And the LORD spake unto Gad, David's seer,
{saying},
saying <1CH21 -10> Go and tell David, {saying}, Thus saith the
LORD,
I offer thee three [things]: choose thee one of them, that I may
do
[it] unto thee.
saying <1CH21 -19> And David went up at the {saying} of Gad,
which
he spake in the name of the LORD.
saying <1CH22 -8> But the word of the LORD came to me, {saying},
Thou hast shed blood abundantly, and hast made great wars: thou
shalt not build an house unto my name, because thou hast shed
much
blood upon the earth in my sight.
saying <1CH22 -17> David also commanded all the princes of
Israel to
help Solomon his son, [{saying}],
saying <2CH2 -3> And Solomon sent to Huram the king of Tyre,
{saying}, As thou didst deal with David my father, and didst send
him cedars to build him an house to dwell therein, [even so deal
with me].
saying <2CH5 -13> It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and
singers [were] as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising
and
thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up [their] voice with the
trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised
the LORD, [{saying}], For [he is] good; for his mercy [endureth]
for ever: that [then] the house was filled with a cloud, [even]
the
house of the LORD;
saying <2CH6 -4> And he said, Blessed [be] the LORD God of
Israel,
who hath with his hands fulfilled [that] which he spake with his
mouth to my father David, {saying},
saying <2CH6 -16> Now therefore, O LORD God of Israel, keep with
thy
servant David my father that which thou hast promised him,
{saying},
There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit upon the
throne
of Israel; yet so that thy children take heed to t
heir way to walk in my law, as thou hast walked before me.
saying <2CH6 -37> Yet [if] they bethink themselves in the land
whither they are carried captive, and turn and pray unto thee in
the
land of their captivity, {saying}, We have sinned, we have done
amiss, and have dealt wickedly;
saying <2CH7 -3> And when all the children of Israel saw how the
fire came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they
bowed
themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and
worshipped, and praised the LORD, [{saying}], For [he is
] good; for his mercy [endureth] for ever.
saying <2CH7 -18> Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdom,
according as I have covenanted with David thy father, {saying},
There shall not fail thee a man [to be] ruler in Israel.
saying <2CH10 -3> And they sent and called him. So Jeroboam and
all
Israel came and spake to Rehoboam, {saying},
saying <2CH10 -6> And king Rehoboam took counsel with the old men
that had stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived,
{saying}, What counsel give ye [me] to return answer to this
people?
saying <2CH10 -7> And they spake unto him, {saying}, If thou be
kind
to this people, and please them, and speak good words to them,
they
will be thy servants for ever.
saying <2CH10 -9> And he said unto them, What advice give ye
that we
may return answer to this people, which have spoken to me,
{saying},
Ease somewhat the yoke that thy father did put upon us?
saying <2CH10 -10> And the young men that were brought up with
him
spake unto him, {saying}, Thus shalt thou answer the people that
spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make
thou [it] somewhat lighter for us; thus shalt thou say un
to them, My little [finger] shall be thicker than my father's
loins.
saying <2CH10 -10> And the young men that were brought up with
him
spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt thou answer the people that
spake
unto thee, {saying}, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make
thou
[it] somewhat lighter for us; thus shalt thou say un
to them, My little [finger] shall be thicker than my father's
loins.
saying <2CH10 -12> So Jeroboam and all the people came to
Rehoboam
on the third day, as the king bade, {saying}, Come again to me on
the third day.
saying <2CH10 -14> And answered them after the advice of the
young
men, {saying}, My father made your yoke heavy, but I will add
thereto: my father chastised you with whips, but I [will chastise
you] with scorpions.
saying <2CH10 -16> And when all Israel [saw] that the king would
not
hearken unto them, the people answered the king, {saying}, What
portion have we in David? and [we have] none inheritance in the
son
of Jesse: every man to your tents, O Israel: [and] now
, David, see to thine own house. So all Israel went to their
tents.
saying <2CH11 -2> But the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah the
man
of God, {saying},
saying <2CH11 -3> Speak unto Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of
Judah, and to all Israel in Judah and Benjamin, {saying},
saying <2CH12 -7> And when the LORD saw that they humbled
themselves, the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah, {saying}, They
have humbled themselves; [therefore] I will not destroy them,
but I
will grant them some deliverance; and my wrath shall not be pou
red out upon Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.
saying <2CH16 -2> Then Asa brought out silver and gold out of the
treasures of the house of the LORD and of the king's house, and
sent
to Benhadad king of Syria, that dwelt at Damascus, {saying},
saying <2CH18 -11> And all the prophets prophesied so, {saying},
Go
up to Ramothgilead, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver [it]
into the hand of the king.
saying <2CH18 -12> And the messenger that went to call Micaiah
spake
to him, {saying}, Behold, the words of the prophets [declare]
good
to the king with one assent; let thy word therefore, I pray thee,
be
like one of theirs, and speak thou good.
saying <2CH18 -19> And the LORD said, Who shall entice Ahab king
of
Israel, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one spake
{saying} after this manner, and another saying after that manner.
saying <2CH18 -19> And the LORD said, Who shall entice Ahab king
of
Israel, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one spake
saying after this manner, and another {saying} after that manner.
saying <2CH18 -30> Now the king of Syria had commanded the
captains
of the chariots that [were] with him, {saying}, Fight ye not with
small or great, save only with the king of Israel.
saying <2CH19 -9> And he charged them, {saying}, Thus shall ye
do in
the fear of the LORD, faithfully, and with a perfect heart.
saying <2CH20 -2> Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat,
{saying}, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond
the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they [be] in
Hazazontamar,
which [is] Engedi.
saying <2CH20 -8> And they dwelt therein, and have built thee a
sanctuary therein for thy name, {saying},
saying <2CH20 -37> Then Eliezer the son of Dodavah of Mareshah
prophesied against Jehoshaphat, {saying}, Because thou hast
joined
thyself with Ahaziah, the LORD hath broken thy works. And the
ships
were broken, that they were not able to go to Tarshish.
saying <2CH21 -12> And there came a writing to him from Elijah
the
prophet, {saying}, Thus saith the LORD God of David thy father,
Because thou hast not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat thy
father,
nor in the ways of Asa king of Judah,
saying <2CH25 -4> But he slew not their children, but [did] as
[it
is] written in the law in the book of Moses, where the LORD
commanded, {saying}, The fathers shall not die for the children,
neither shall the children die for the fathers, but every man s
hall die for his own sin.
saying <2CH25 -7> But there came a man of God to him, {saying}, O
king, let not the army of Israel go with thee; for the LORD [is]
not
with Israel, [to wit, with] all the children of Ephraim.
saying <2CH25 -17> Then Amaziah king of Judah took advice, and
sent
to Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, king of Israel,
{saying}, Come, let us see one another in the face.
saying <2CH25 -18> And Joash king of Israel sent to Amaziah king
of
Judah, saying, The thistle that [was] in Lebanon sent to the
cedar
that [was] in Lebanon, {saying}, Give thy daughter to my son to
wife: and there passed by a wild beast that [was] in Leb
anon, and trode down the thistle.
saying <2CH25 -18> And Joash king of Israel sent to Amaziah king
of
Judah, {saying}, The thistle that [was] in Lebanon sent to the
cedar
that [was] in Lebanon, saying, Give thy daughter to my son to
wife:
and there passed by a wild beast that [was] in Leb
anon, and trode down the thistle.
saying <2CH30 -6> So the posts went with the letters from the
king
and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to
the commandment of the king, {saying}, Ye children of Israel,
turn
again unto the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel,
and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of
the hand of the kings of Assyria.
saying <2CH30 -18> For a multitude of the people, [even] many of
Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed
themselves, yet did they eat the passover otherwise than it was
written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, {saying}, The good LORD
pardon every one
saying <2CH32 -4> So there was gathered much people together, who
stopped all the fountains, and the brook that ran through the
midst
of the land, {saying}, Why should the kings of Assyria come, and
find much water?
saying <2CH32 -6> And he set captains of war over the people, and
gathered them together to him in the street of the gate of the
city,
and spake comfortably to them, {saying},
saying <2CH32 -9> After this did Sennacherib king of Assyria send
his servants to Jerusalem, (but he [himself laid siege] against
Lachish, and all his power with him,) unto Hezekiah king of
Judah,
and unto all Judah that [were] at Jerusalem, {saying},
saying <2CH32 -11> Doth not Hezekiah persuade you to give over
yourselves to die by famine and by thirst, {saying}, The LORD our
God shall deliver us out of the hand of the king of Assyria?
saying <2CH32 -12> Hath not the same Hezekiah taken away his high
places and his altars, and commanded Judah and Jerusalem,
{saying},
Ye shall worship before one altar, and burn incense upon it?
saying <2CH32 -17> He wrote also letters to rail on the LORD God
of
Israel, and to speak against him, {saying}, As the gods of the
nations of [other] lands have not delivered their people out of
mine
hand, so shall not the God of Hezekiah deliver his peop
le out of mine hand.
saying <2CH34 -16> And Shaphan carried the book to the king, and
brought the king word back again, {saying}, All that was
committed
to thy servants, they do [it].
saying <2CH34 -18> Then Shaphan the scribe told the king,
{saying},
Hilkiah the priest hath given me a book. And Shaphan read it
before
the king.
saying <2CH34 -20> And the king commanded Hilkiah, and Ahikam the
son of Shaphan, and Abdon the son of Micah, and Shaphan the
scribe,
and Asaiah a servant of the king's, {saying},
saying <2CH35 -21> But he sent ambassadors to him, {saying}, What
have I to do with thee, thou king of Judah? [I come] not against
thee this day, but against the house wherewith I have war: for
God
commanded me to make haste: forbear thee from [meddling w
ith] God, who [is] with me, that he destroy thee not.
saying <2CH36 -22> Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia,
that the word of the LORD [spoken] by the mouth of Jeremiah
might be
accomplished, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of
Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kin
gdom, and [put it] also in writing, {saying},
saying <EZR1 -1> Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia,
that
the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled,
the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he
made
a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and [put
it] also in writing, {saying},
saying <EZR5 -11> And thus they returned us answer, {saying}, We
are
the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and build the house
that was builded these many years ago, which a great king of
Israel
builded and set up.
saying <EZR8 -22> For I was ashamed to require of the king a
band of
soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way:
because we had spoken unto the king, {saying}, The hand of our
God
[is] upon all them for good that seek him; but his power
and his wrath [is] against all them that forsake him.
saying <EZR9 -1> Now when these things were done, the princes
came
to me, {saying}, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the
Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the
lands,
[doing] according to their abominations, [even] of the
Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the
Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.
saying <EZR9 -11> Which thou hast commanded by thy servants the
prophets, {saying}, The land, unto which ye go to possess it, is
an
unclean land with the filthiness of the people of the lands, with
their abominations, which have filled it from one end to
another with their uncleanness.
saying <NEH1 -8> Remember, I beseech thee, the word that thou
commandedst thy servant Moses, {saying}, [If] ye transgress, I
will
scatter you abroad among the nations:
saying <NEH6 -2> That Sanballat and Geshem sent unto me,
{saying},
Come, let us meet together in [some one of] the villages in the
plain of Ono. But they thought to do me mischief.
saying <NEH6 -3> And I sent messengers unto them, {saying}, I
[am]
doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the
work
cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?
saying <NEH6 -7> And thou hast also appointed prophets to preach
of
thee at Jerusalem, {saying}, [There is] a king in Judah: and now
shall it be reported to the king according to these words. Come
now
therefore, and let us take counsel together.
saying <NEH6 -8> Then I sent unto him, {saying}, There are no
such
things done as thou sayest, but thou feignest them out of thine
own
heart.
saying <NEH6 -9> For they all made us afraid, {saying}, Their
hands
shall be weakened from the work, that it be not done. Now
therefore,
[O God], strengthen my hands.
saying <NEH8 -11> So the Levites stilled all the people,
{saying},
Hold your peace, for the day [is] holy; neither be ye grieved.
saying <NEH8 -15> And that they should publish and proclaim in
all
their cities, and in Jerusalem, {saying}, Go forth unto the
mount,
and fetch olive branches, and pine branches, and myrtle branches,
and palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make
booths, as [it is] written.
saying <NEH13 -25> And I contended with them, and cursed them,
and
smote certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them
swear by God, [{saying}], Ye shall not give your daughters unto
their sons, nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for
yourselves.
saying <EST1 -21> And the {saying} pleased the king and the
princes;
and the king did according to the word of Memucan:
saying <JOB4 -16> It stood still, but I could not discern the
form
thereof: an image [was] before mine eyes, [there was] silence,
and I
heard a voice, [{saying}],
saying <JOB8 -18> If he destroy him from his place, then [it]
shall
deny him, [{saying}], I have not seen thee.
saying <JOB15 -23> He wandereth abroad for bread, [{saying}],
Where
[is it]? he knoweth that the day of darkness is ready at his
hand.
saying <JOB24 -15> The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the
twilight, {saying}, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth [his]
face.
saying <JOB33 -8> Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I
have heard the voice of [thy] words, [{saying}],
saying <PSA2 -2> The kings of the earth set themselves, and the
rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his
anointed, [{saying}],
saying <PSA22 -7> All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they
shoot
out the lip, they shake the head, [{saying}],
saying <PSA49 -4> I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will
open
my dark {saying} upon the harp.
saying <PSA71 -11> {Saying}, God hath forsaken him: persecute and
take him; for [there is] none to deliver [him].
saying <PSA105 -11> {Saying}, Unto thee will I give the land of
Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
saying <PSA105 -15> {Saying}], Touch not mine anointed, and do my
prophets no harm.
saying <PSA119 -82> Mine eyes fail for thy word, {saying}, When
wilt
thou comfort me?
saying <PSA137 -3> For there they that carried us away captive
required of us a song; and they that wasted us [required of us]
mirth, [{saying}], Sing us [one] of the songs of Zion.
saying <PRO1 -21> She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in
the
openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words,
[{saying}],
saying <ECC1 -16> I communed with mine own heart, {saying}, Lo,
I am
come to great estate, and have gotten more wisdom than all [they]
that have been before me in Jerusalem: yea, my heart had great
experience of wisdom and knowledge.
saying <SON5 -2> I sleep, but my heart waketh: [it is] the voice
of
my beloved that knocketh, [{saying}], Open to me, my sister, my
love, my dove, my undefiled: for my head is filled with dew,
[and]
my locks with the drops of the night.
saying <ISA3 -6> When a man shall take hold of his brother of the
house of his father, [{saying}], Thou hast clothing, be thou our
ruler, and [let] this ruin [be] under thy hand:
saying <ISA3 -7> In that day shall he swear, {saying}, I will
not be
an healer; for in my house [is] neither bread nor clothing: make
me
not a ruler of the people.
saying <ISA4 -1> And in that day seven women shall take hold of
one
man, {saying}, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own
apparel:
only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.
saying <ISA6 -8> Also I heard the voice of the Lord, {saying},
Whom
shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here [am] I;
send
me.
saying <ISA7 -2> And it was told the house of David, {saying},
Syria
is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart was moved, and the
heart
of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind.
saying <ISA7 -5> Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah,
have taken evil counsel against thee, {saying},
saying <ISA7 -10> Moreover the LORD spake again unto Ahaz,
{saying},
saying <ISA8 -5> The LORD spake also unto me again, {saying},
saying <ISA8 -11> For the LORD spake thus to me with a strong
hand,
and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this
people,
{saying},
saying <ISA14 -8> Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, [and] the
cedars of Lebanon, [{saying}], Since thou art laid down, no
feller
is come up against us.
saying <ISA14 -16> They that see thee shall narrowly look upon
thee,
[and] consider thee, [{saying}, Is] this the man that made the
earth
to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
saying <ISA14 -24> The LORD of hosts hath sworn, {saying},
Surely as
I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed,
[so] shall it stand:
saying <ISA16 -14> But now the LORD hath spoken, {saying}, Within
three years, as the years of an hireling, and the glory of Moab
shall be contemned, with all that great multitude; and the
remnant
[shall be] very small [and] feeble.
saying <ISA18 -2> That sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in
vessels of bulrushes upon the waters, [{saying}], Go, ye swift
messengers, to a nation scattered and peeled, to a people
terrible
from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden
down, whose land the rivers have spoiled!
saying <ISA19 -25> Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, {saying},
Blessed [be] Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands,
and
Israel mine inheritance.
saying <ISA20 -2> At the same time spake the LORD by Isaiah the
son
of Amoz, {saying}, Go and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins,
and put off thy shoe from thy foot. And he did so, walking naked
and
barefoot.
saying <ISA23 -4> Be thou ashamed, O Zidon: for the sea hath
spoken,
[even] the strength of the sea, {saying}, I travail not, nor
bring
forth children, neither do I nourish up young men, [nor] bring up
virgins.
saying <ISA29 -11> And the vision of all is become unto you as
the
words of a book that is sealed, which [men] deliver to one that
is
learned, {saying}, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I
cannot;
for it [is] sealed:
saying <ISA29 -12> And the book is delivered to him that is not
learned, {saying}, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not
learned.
saying <ISA30 -21> And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee,
{saying}, This [is] the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the
right hand, and when ye turn to the left.
saying <ISA36 -15> Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the
LORD,
{saying}, The LORD will surely deliver us: this city shall not be
delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.
saying <ISA36 -18> Beware] lest Hezekiah persuade you, {saying},
The
LORD will deliver us. Hath any of the gods of the nations
delivered
his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?
saying <ISA36 -21> But they held their peace, and answered him
not a
word: for the king's commandment was, {saying}, Answer him not.
saying <ISA37 -9> And he heard say concerning Tirhakah king of
Ethiopia, He is come forth to make war with thee. And when he
heard
[it], he sent messengers to Hezekiah, {saying},
saying <ISA37 -10> Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah,
saying, Let not thy God, in whom thou trustest, deceive thee,
{saying}, Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king
of
Assyria.
saying <ISA37 -10> Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah,
{saying}, Let not thy God, in whom thou trustest, deceive thee,
saying, Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of
Assyria.
saying <ISA37 -15> And Hezekiah prayed unto the LORD, {saying},
saying <ISA37 -21> Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent unto
Hezekiah,
{saying}, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Whereas thou hast
prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria:
saying <ISA38 -4> Then came the word of the LORD to Isaiah,
{saying},
saying <ISA41 -7> So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith,
[and]
he that smootheth [with] the hammer him that smote the anvil,
{saying}, It [is] ready for the soldering: and he fastened it
with
nails, [that] it should not be moved.
saying <ISA41 -13> For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right
hand,
{saying} unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
saying <ISA44 -28> That saith of Cyrus, [He is] my shepherd, and
shall perform all my pleasure: even {saying} to Jerusalem, Thou
shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.
saying <ISA45 -14> Thus saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and
merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall
come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come
after
thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fal
l down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee,
[{saying}], Surely God [is] in thee; and [there is] none else,
[there is] no God.
saying <ISA46 -10> Declaring the end from the beginning, and from
ancient times [the things] that are not [yet] done, {saying}, My
counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
saying <ISA56 -3> Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath
joined himself to the LORD, speak, {saying}, The LORD hath
utterly
separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold,
I
[am] a dry tree.
saying <ISA63 -11> Then he remembered the days of old, Moses,
[and]
his people, [{saying}], Where [is] he that brought them up out of
the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where [is] he that put
his
holy Spirit within him?
saying <JER1 -4> Then the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <JER1 -11> Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying}, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of
an
almond tree.
saying <JER1 -13> And the word of the LORD came unto me the
second
time, {saying}, What seest thou? And I said, I see a seething
pot;
and the face thereof [is] toward the north.
saying <JER2 -1> Moreover the word of the LORD came to me,
{saying},
saying <JER2 -2> Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, {saying},
Thus
saith the LORD; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the
love
of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness,
in
a land [that was] not sown.
saying <JER2 -27> {Saying} to a stock, Thou [art] my father; and
to
a stone, Thou hast brought me forth: for they have turned [their]
back unto me, and not [their] face: but in the time of their
trouble
they will say, Arise, and save us.
saying <JER4 -10> Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! surely thou hast
greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, {saying}, Ye shall
have
peace; whereas the sword reacheth unto the soul.
saying <JER4 -31> For I have heard a voice as of a woman in
travail,
[and] the anguish as of her that bringeth forth her first child,
the
voice of the daughter of Zion, [that] bewaileth herself, [that]
spreadeth her hands, [{saying}], Woe [is] me now! for
my soul is wearied because of murderers.
saying <JER5 -20> Declare this in the house of Jacob, and
publish it
in Judah, {saying},
saying <JER6 -14> They have healed also the hurt [of the
daughter]
of my people slightly, {saying}, Peace, peace; when [there is] no
peace.
saying <JER6 -17> Also I set watchmen over you, [{saying}],
Hearken
to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.
saying <JER7 -1> The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD,
{saying},
saying <JER7 -4> Trust ye not in lying words, {saying}, The
temple
of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD,
[are]
these.
saying <JER7 -23> But this thing commanded I them, {saying},
Obey my
voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and
walk
ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well
unto you.
saying <JER8 -6> I hearkened and heard, [but] they spake not
aright:
no man repented him of his wickedness, {saying}, What have I
done?
every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the
battle.
saying <JER8 -11> For they have healed the hurt of the daughter
of
my people slightly, {saying}, Peace, peace; when [there is] no
peace.
saying <JER11 -1> The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD,
{saying},
saying <JER11 -4> Which I commanded your fathers in the day
[that] I
brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron
furnace,
{saying}, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I
command you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be yo
ur God:
saying <JER11 -6> Then the LORD said unto me, Proclaim all these
words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem,
{saying}, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do them.
saying <JER11 -7> For I earnestly protested unto your fathers in
the
day [that] I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, [even]
unto
this day, rising early and protesting, {saying}, Obey my voice.
saying <JER11 -19> But I [was] like a lamb [or] an ox [that] is
brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised
devices against me, [{saying}], Let us destroy the tree with the
fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the livi
ng, that his name may be no more remembered.
saying <JER11 -21> Therefore thus saith the LORD of the men of
Anathoth, that seek thy life, {saying}, Prophesy not in the name
of
the LORD, that thou die not by our hand:
saying <JER13 -3> And the word of the LORD came unto me the
second
time, {saying},
saying <JER13 -8> Then the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <JER16 -1> The word of the LORD came also unto me,
{saying},
saying <JER18 -1> The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD,
{saying},
saying <JER18 -5> Then the word of the LORD came to me, {saying},
saying <JER18 -11> Now therefore go to, speak to the men of
Judah,
and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, {saying}, Thus saith the
LORD;
Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a device against
you:
return ye now every one from his evil way, and make y
our ways and your doings good.
saying <JER20 -10> For I heard the defaming of many, fear on
every
side. Report, [say they], and we will report it. All my familiars
watched for my halting, [{saying}], Peradventure he will be
enticed,
and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take o
ur revenge on him.
saying <JER20 -15> Cursed [be] the man who brought tidings to my
father, {saying}, A man child is born unto thee; making him very
glad.
saying <JER21 -1> The word which came unto Jeremiah from the
LORD,
when king Zedekiah sent unto him Pashur the son of Melchiah, and
Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, {saying},
saying <JER22 -18> Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning
Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament
for
him, [{saying}], Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! they shall not
lament
for him, [saying], Ah lord! or, Ah his glory!
saying <JER22 -18> Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning
Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament
for
him, [saying], Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! they shall not
lament
for him, [{saying}], Ah lord! or, Ah his glory!
saying <JER23 -25> I have heard what the prophets said, that
prophesy lies in my name, {saying}, I have dreamed, I have
dreamed.
saying <JER23 -33> And when this people, or the prophet, or a
priest, shall ask thee, {saying}, What [is] the burden of the
LORD?
thou shalt then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake
you,
saith the LORD.
saying <JER23 -38> But since ye say, The burden of the LORD;
therefore thus saith the LORD; Because ye say this word, The
burden
of the LORD, and I have sent unto you, {saying}, Ye shall not
say,
The burden of the LORD;
saying <JER24 -4> Again the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <JER25 -2> The which Jeremiah the prophet spake unto all
the
people of Judah, and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem,
{saying},
saying <JER26 -1> In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the
son
of Josiah king of Judah came this word from the LORD, {saying},
saying <JER26 -8> Now it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an
end
of speaking all that the LORD had commanded [him] to speak unto
all
the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people
took him, {saying}, Thou shalt surely die.
saying <JER26 -9> Why hast thou prophesied in the name of the
LORD,
{saying}, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be
desolate without an inhabitant? And all the people were gathered
against Jeremiah in the house of the LORD.
saying <JER26 -11> Then spake the priests and the prophets unto
the
princes and to all the people, {saying}, This man [is] worthy to
die; for he hath prophesied against this city, as ye have heard
with
your ears.
saying <JER26 -12> Then spake Jeremiah unto all the princes and
to
all the people, {saying}, The LORD sent me to prophesy against
this
house and against this city all the words that ye have heard.
saying <JER26 -17> Then rose up certain of the elders of the
land,
and spake to all the assembly of the people, {saying},
saying <JER26 -18> Micah the Morasthite prophesied in the days of
Hezekiah king of Judah, and spake to all the people of Judah,
{saying}, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Zion shall be plowed
[like]
a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain
of the house as the high places of a forest.
saying <JER27 -1> In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the
son
of Josiah king of Judah came this word unto Jeremiah from the
LORD,
{saying},
saying <JER27 -9> Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor
to
your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor
to
your sorcerers, which speak unto you, {saying}, Ye shall not
serve
the king of Babylon:
saying <JER27 -12> I spake also to Zedekiah king of Judah
according
to all these words, {saying}, Bring your necks under the yoke of
the
king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live.
saying <JER27 -14> Therefore hearken not unto the words of the
prophets that speak unto you, {saying}, Ye shall not serve the
king
of Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.
saying <JER27 -16> Also I spake to the priests and to all this
people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Hearken not to the words of
your prophets that prophesy unto you, {saying}, Behold, the
vessels
of the LORD'S house shall now shortly be brought again from
Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.
saying <JER27 -16> Also I spake to the priests and to all this
people, {saying}, Thus saith the LORD; Hearken not to the words
of
your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the
vessels of
the LORD'S house shall now shortly be brought again from
Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.
saying <JER28 -1> And it came to pass the same year, in the
beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth
year, [and] in the fifth month, [that] Hananiah the son of Azur
the
prophet, which [was] of Gibeon, spake unto me in the house of t
he LORD, in the presence of the priests and of all the people,
{saying},
saying <JER28 -2> Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel, {saying}, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.
saying <JER28 -11> And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the
people, {saying}, Thus saith the LORD; Even so will I break the
yoke
of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations
within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremi
ah went his way.
saying <JER28 -12> Then the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah
[the
prophet], after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke
from
off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, {saying},
saying <JER28 -13> Go and tell Hananiah, {saying}, Thus saith the
LORD; Thou hast broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make for
them yokes of iron.
saying <JER29 -3> By the hand of Elasah the son of Shaphan, and
Gemariah the son of Hilkiah, (whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent
unto
Babylon to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon) {saying},
saying <JER29 -22> And of them shall be taken up a curse by all
the
captivity of Judah which [are] in Babylon, {saying}, The LORD
make
thee like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whom the king of Babylon
roasted
in the fire;
saying <JER29 -24> Thus] shalt thou also speak to Shemaiah the
Nehelamite, {saying},
saying <JER29 -25> Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel, {saying}, Because thou hast sent letters in thy name unto
all the people that [are] at Jerusalem, and to Zephaniah the son
of
Maaseiah the priest, and to all the priests, saying,
saying <JER29 -25> Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel, saying, Because thou hast sent letters in thy name unto
all
the people that [are] at Jerusalem, and to Zephaniah the son of
Maaseiah the priest, and to all the priests, {saying},
saying <JER29 -28> For therefore he sent unto us [in] Babylon,
{saying}, This [captivity is] long: build ye houses, and dwell
[in
them]; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them.
saying <JER29 -30> Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah,
{saying},
saying <JER29 -31> Send to all them of the captivity, {saying},
Thus
saith the LORD concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite; Because that
Shemaiah hath prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he
caused
you to trust in a lie:
saying <JER30 -1> The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD,
{saying},
saying <JER30 -2> Thus speaketh the LORD God of Israel, {saying},
Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.
saying <JER30 -17> For I will restore health unto thee, and I
will
heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called
thee an
Outcast, [{saying}], This [is] Zion, whom no man seeketh after.
saying <JER31 -3> The LORD hath appeared of old unto me,
[{saying}],
Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with
lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
saying <JER31 -34> And they shall teach no more every man his
neighbour, and every man his brother, {saying}, Know the LORD:
for
they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest
of
them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, a
nd I will remember their sin no more.
saying <JER32 -3> For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up,
{saying}, Wherefore dost thou prophesy, and say, Thus saith the
LORD, Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of
Babylon, and he shall take it;
saying <JER32 -6> And Jeremiah said, The word of the LORD came
unto
me, {saying},
saying <JER32 -7> Behold, Hanameel the son of Shallum thine uncle
shall come unto thee, {saying}, Buy thee my field that [is] in
Anathoth: for the right of redemption [is] thine to buy [it].
saying <JER32 -13> And I charged Baruch before them, {saying},
saying <JER32 -16> Now when I had delivered the evidence of the
purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed unto the LORD,
{saying},
saying <JER32 -26> Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah,
{saying},
saying <JER33 -1> Moreover the word of the LORD came unto
Jeremiah
the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the
prison, {saying},
saying <JER33 -19> And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah,
{saying},
saying <JER33 -23> Moreover the word of the LORD came to
Jeremiah,
{saying},
saying <JER33 -24> Considerest thou not what this people have
spoken, {saying}, The two families which the LORD hath chosen, he
hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that
they should be no more a nation before them.
saying <JER34 -1> The word which came unto Jeremiah from the
LORD,
when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and all his army, and all
the
kingdoms of the earth of his dominion, and all the people, fought
against Jerusalem, and against all the cities thereof,
{saying},
saying <JER34 -5> But] thou shalt die in peace: and with the
burnings of thy fathers, the former kings which were before thee,
so
shall they burn [odours] for thee; and they will lament thee,
[{saying}], Ah lord! for I have pronounced the word, saith the
LORD.
saying <JER34 -12> Therefore the word of the LORD came to
Jeremiah
from the LORD, {saying},
saying <JER34 -13> Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; I
made a
covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth
out
of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondmen, {saying},
saying <JER35 -1> The word which came unto Jeremiah from the
LORD in
the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, {saying},
saying <JER35 -6> But they said, We will drink no wine: for
Jonadab
the son of Rechab our father commanded us, {saying}, Ye shall
drink
no wine, [neither ye], nor your sons for ever:
saying <JER35 -12> Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah,
{saying},
saying <JER35 -15> I have sent also unto you all my servants the
prophets, rising up early and sending [them], {saying}, Return ye
now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go
not
after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the
land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have
not
inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me.
saying <JER36 -1> And it came to pass in the fourth year of
Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, [that] this word came
unto Jeremiah from the LORD, {saying},
saying <JER36 -5> And Jeremiah commanded Baruch, {saying}, I [am]
shut up; I cannot go into the house of the LORD:
saying <JER36 -14> Therefore all the princes sent Jehudi the son
of
Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, unto Baruch,
{saying}, Take in thine hand the roll wherein thou hast read in
the
ears of the people, and come. So Baruch the son of Neri
ah took the roll in his hand, and came unto them.
saying <JER36 -17> And they asked Baruch, {saying}, Tell us now,
How
didst thou write all these words at his mouth?
saying <JER36 -27> Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah,
after
that the king had burned the roll, and the words which Baruch
wrote
at the mouth of Jeremiah, {saying},
saying <JER36 -29> And thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah,
Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast burned this roll, saying, Why hast
thou written therein, {saying}, The king of Babylon shall
certainly
come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease fr
om thence man and beast?
saying <JER36 -29> And thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah,
Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast burned this roll, {saying}, Why
hast
thou written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly
come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease fr
om thence man and beast?
saying <JER37 -3> And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of
Shelemiah and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest to the
prophet Jeremiah, {saying}, Pray now unto the LORD our God for
us.
saying <JER37 -6> Then came the word of the LORD unto the prophet
Jeremiah, {saying},
saying <JER37 -9> Thus saith the LORD; Deceive not yourselves,
{saying}, The Chaldeans shall surely depart from us: for they
shall
not depart.
saying <JER37 -13> And when he was in the gate of Benjamin, a
captain of the ward [was] there, whose name [was] Irijah, the
son of
Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah; and he took Jeremiah the prophet,
{saying}, Thou fallest away to the Chaldeans.
saying <JER37 -19> Where [are] now your prophets which prophesied
unto you, {saying}, The king of Babylon shall not come against
you,
nor against this land?
saying <JER38 -1> Then Shephatiah the son of Mattan, and Gedaliah
the son of Pashur, and Jucal the son of Shelemiah, and Pashur the
son of Malchiah, heard the words that Jeremiah had spoken unto
all
the people, {saying},
saying <JER38 -8> Ebedmelech went forth out of the king's house,
and
spake to the king, {saying},
saying <JER38 -10> Then the king commanded Ebedmelech the
Ethiopian,
{saying}, Take from hence thirty men with thee, and take up
Jeremiah
the prophet out of the dungeon, before he die.
saying <JER38 -16> So Zedekiah the king sware secretly unto
Jeremiah, {saying}, [As] the LORD liveth, that made us this soul,
I
will not put thee to death, neither will I give thee into the
hand
of these men that seek thy life.
saying <JER39 -11> Now Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon gave charge
concerning Jeremiah to Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard,
{saying},
saying <JER39 -15> Now the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah,
while he was shut up in the court of the prison, {saying},
saying <JER39 -16> Go and speak to Ebedmelech the Ethiopian,
{saying}, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;
Behold, I
will bring my words upon this city for evil, and not for good;
and
they shall be [accomplished] in that day before thee.
saying <JER40 -9> And Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of
Shaphan
sware unto them and to their men, {saying}, Fear not to serve the
Chaldeans: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and
it
shall be well with you.
saying <JER40 -15> Then Johanan the son of Kareah spake to
Gedaliah
in Mizpah secretly, {saying}, Let me go, I pray thee, and I will
slay Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and no man shall know [it]:
wherefore should he slay thee, that all the Jews which are
gathered unto thee should be scattered, and the remnant in Judah
perish?
saying <JER42 -14> {Saying}, No; but we will go into the land of
Egypt, where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the
trumpet,
nor have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell:
saying <JER42 -20> For ye dissembled in your hearts, when ye
sent me
unto the LORD your God, {saying}, Pray for us unto the LORD our
God;
and according unto all that the LORD our God shall say, so
declare
unto us, and we will do [it].
saying <JER43 -2> Then spake Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, and
Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men, {saying} unto
Jeremiah, Thou speakest falsely: the LORD our God hath not sent
thee
to say, Go not into Egypt to sojourn there:
saying <JER43 -8> Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah in
Tahpanhes, {saying},
saying <JER44 -1> The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all
the
Jews which dwell in the land of Egypt, which dwell at Migdol,
and at
Tahpanhes, and at Noph, and in the country of Pathros, {saying},
saying <JER44 -4> Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants the
prophets, rising early and sending [them], {saying}, Oh, do not
this
abominable thing that I hate.
saying <JER44 -15> Then all the men which knew that their wives
had
burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by,
a
great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of
Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, {saying},
saying <JER44 -20> Then Jeremiah said unto all the people, to the
men, and to the women, and to all the people which had given him
[that] answer, {saying},
saying <JER44 -25> Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel,
{saying}; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths,
and
fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows
that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of he
aven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely
accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows.
saying <JER44 -25> Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel,
saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and
fulfilled with your hand, {saying}, We will surely perform our
vows
that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of he
aven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely
accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows.
saying <JER44 -26> Therefore hear ye the word of the LORD, all
Judah
that dwell in the land of Egypt; Behold, I have sworn by my great
name, saith the LORD, that my name shall no more be named in the
mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, {sa
ying}, The Lord GOD liveth.
saying <JER45 -1> The word that Jeremiah the prophet spake unto
Baruch the son of Neriah, when he had written these words in a
book
at the mouth of Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the
son of
Josiah king of Judah, {saying},
saying <JER48 -39> They shall howl, [{saying}], How is it broken
down! how hath Moab turned the back with shame! so shall Moab be
a
derision and a dismaying to all them about him.
saying <JER49 -4> Wherefore gloriest thou in the valleys, thy
flowing valley, O backsliding daughter? that trusted in her
treasures, [{saying}], Who shall come unto me?
saying <JER49 -14> I have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an
ambassador is sent unto the heathen, [{saying}], Gather ye
together,
and come against her, and rise up to the battle.
saying <JER49 -34> The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the
prophet against Elam in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah
king
of Judah, {saying},
saying <JER50 -5> They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces
thitherward, [{saying}], Come, and let us join ourselves to the
LORD
in a perpetual covenant [that] shall not be forgotten.
saying <JER51 -14> The LORD of hosts hath sworn by himself,
[{saying}], Surely I will fill thee with men, as with
caterpillars;
and they shall lift up a shout against thee.
saying <LAM2 -15> All that pass by clap [their] hands at thee;
they
hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, [{saying},
Is]
this the city that [men] call The perfection of beauty, The joy
of
the whole earth?
saying <EZE3 -12> Then the spirit took me up, and I heard behind
me
a voice of a great rushing, [{saying}], Blessed [be] the glory of
the LORD from his place.
saying <EZE3 -16> And it came to pass at the end of seven days,
that
the word of the LORD came unto me, {saying},
saying <EZE6 -1> And the word of the LORD came unto me, {saying},
saying <EZE7 -1> Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE9 -1> He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice,
{saying}, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near,
even every man [with] his destroying weapon in his hand.
saying <EZE9 -11> And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which
[had] the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, {saying}, I
have
done as thou hast commanded me.
saying <EZE10 -6> And it came to pass, [that] when he had
commanded
the man clothed with linen, {saying}, Take fire from between the
wheels, from between the cherubims; then he went in, and stood
beside the wheels.
saying <EZE11 -14> Again the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE12 -1> The word of the LORD also came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE12 -8> And in the morning came the word of the LORD
unto
me, {saying},
saying <EZE12 -17> Moreover the word of the LORD came to me,
{saying},
saying <EZE12 -21> And the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE12 -22> Son of man, what [is] that proverb [that] ye
have
in the land of Israel, {saying}, The days are prolonged, and
every
vision faileth?
saying <EZE12 -26> Again the word of the LORD came to me,
{saying},
saying <EZE13 -1> And the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE13 -6> They have seen vanity and lying divination,
{saying}, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and
they
have made [others] to hope that they would confirm the word.
saying <EZE13 -10> Because, even because they have seduced my
people, {saying}, Peace; and [there was] no peace; and one built
up
a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered [mortar]:
saying <EZE14 -2> And the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE14 -12> The word of the LORD came again to me,
{saying},
saying <EZE15 -1> And the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE16 -1> Again the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE16 -44> Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall
use
[this] proverb against thee, {saying}, As [is] the mother, [so
is]
her daughter.
saying <EZE17 -1> And the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE17 -11> Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE18 -1> The word of the LORD came unto me again,
{saying},
saying <EZE18 -2> What mean ye, that ye use this proverb
concerning
the land of Israel, {saying}, The fathers have eaten sour grapes,
and the children's teeth are set on edge?
saying <EZE20 -2> Then came the word of the LORD unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE20 -5> And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In
the
day when I chose Israel, and lifted up mine hand unto the seed of
the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land
of
Egypt, when I lifted up mine hand unto them, {saying}
, I [am] the LORD your God;
saying <EZE20 -45> Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE21 -1> And the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE21 -8> Again the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE21 -18> The word of the LORD came unto me again,
{saying},
saying <EZE22 -1> Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE22 -17> And the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE22 -23> And the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE22 -28> And her prophets have daubed them with
untempered
[mortar], seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, {saying},
Thus
saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not spoken.
saying <EZE23 -1> The word of the LORD came again unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE24 -1> Again in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in
the tenth [day] of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE24 -15> Also the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE24 -20> Then I answered them, The word of the LORD
came
unto me, {saying},
saying <EZE25 -1> The word of the LORD came again unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE26 -1> And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in
the
first [day] of the month, [that] the word of the LORD came unto
me,
{saying},
saying <EZE27 -1> The word of the LORD came again unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE27 -32> And in their wailing they shall take up a
lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, [{saying}], What
[city
is] like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?
saying <EZE28 -1> The word of the LORD came again unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE28 -11> Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE28 -20> Again the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE29 -1> In the tenth year, in the tenth [month], in the
twelfth [day] of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE29 -17> And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth
year, in the first [month], in the first [day] of the month, the
word of the LORD came unto me, {saying},
saying <EZE30 -1> The word of the LORD came again unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE30 -20> And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in
the
first [month], in the seventh [day] of the month, [that] the
word of
the LORD came unto me, {saying},
saying <EZE31 -1> And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in
the
third [month], in the first [day] of the month, [that] the word
of
the LORD came unto me, {saying},
saying <EZE32 -1> And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the
twelfth month, in the first [day] of the month, [that] the word
of
the LORD came unto me, {saying},
saying <EZE32 -17> It came to pass also in the twelfth year, in
the
fifteenth [day] of the month, [that] the word of the LORD came
unto
me, {saying},
saying <EZE33 -1> Again the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE33 -10> Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the
house of Israel; Thus ye speak, {saying}, If our transgressions
and
our sins [be] upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we
then
live?
saying <EZE33 -21> And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our
captivity, in the tenth [month], in the fifth [day] of the month,
[that] one that had escaped out of Jerusalem came unto me,
{saying},
The city is smitten.
saying <EZE33 -23> Then the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE33 -24> Son of man, they that inhabit those wastes of
the
land of Israel speak, {saying}, Abraham was one, and he inherited
the land: but we [are] many; the land is given us for
inheritance.
saying <EZE33 -30> Also, thou son of man, the children of thy
people
still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of
the
houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother,
{saying}, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that
cometh forth from the LORD.
saying <EZE34 -1> And the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE35 -1> Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE35 -12> And thou shalt know that I [am] the LORD, [and
that] I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken
against the mountains of Israel, {saying}, They are laid
desolate,
they are given us to consume.
saying <EZE36 -16> Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE37 -15> The word of the LORD came again unto me,
{saying},
saying <EZE37 -18> And when the children of thy people shall
speak
unto thee, {saying}, Wilt thou not show us what thou [meanest] by
these?
saying <EZE38 -1> And the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <DAN4 -8> But at the last Daniel came in before me, whose
name [was] Belteshazzar, according to the name of my god, and in
whom [is] the spirit of the holy gods: and before him I told the
dream, [{saying}],
saying <DAN4 -23> And whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy
one
coming down from heaven, and {saying}, Hew the tree down, and
destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the
earth,
even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass o
f the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and [let]
his
portion [be] with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass
over him;
saying <DAN4 -31> While the word [was] in the king's mouth, there
fell a voice from heaven, [{saying}], O king Nebuchadnezzar, to
thee
it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee.
saying <AMO2 -12> But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and
commanded the prophets, {saying}, Prophesy not.
saying <AMO3 -1> Hear this word that the LORD hath spoken against
you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I
brought
up from the land of Egypt, {saying},
saying <AMO7 -10> Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to
Jeroboam
king of Israel, {saying}, Amos hath conspired against thee in the
midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all
his
words.
saying <AMO8 -5> {Saying}, When will the new moon be gone, that
we
may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat,
making
the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the
balances
by deceit?
saying <JON1 -1> Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the
son of
Amittai, {saying},
saying <JON3 -1> And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the
second
time, {saying},
saying <JON3 -7> And he caused [it] to be proclaimed and
published
through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles,
{saying},
Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let
them
not feed, nor drink water:
saying <JON4 -2> And he prayed unto the LORD, and said, I pray
thee,
O LORD, [was] not this my {saying}, when I was yet in my country?
Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou
[art] a
gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of gr
eat kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.
saying <MIC2 -11> If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do
lie, [{saying}], I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong
drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.
saying <HAG1 -1> In the second year of Darius the king, in the
sixth
month, in the first day of the month, came the word of the LORD
by
Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel,
governor of
Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high
priest, {saying},
saying <HAG1 -2> Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, {saying}, This
people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD'S house
should be built.
saying <HAG1 -3> Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the
prophet, {saying},
saying <HAG1 -13> Then spake Haggai the LORD'S messenger in the
LORD'S message unto the people, {saying}, I [am] with you, saith
the
LORD.
saying <HAG2 -1> In the seventh [month], in the one and twentieth
[day] of the month, came the word of the LORD by the prophet
Haggai,
{saying},
saying <HAG2 -2> Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel,
governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high
priest, and to the residue of the people, {saying},
saying <HAG2 -10> In the four and twentieth [day] of the ninth
[month], in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD
by
Haggai the prophet, {saying},
saying <HAG2 -11> Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ask now the
priests
[concerning] the law, {saying},
saying <HAG2 -20> And again the word of the LORD came unto
Haggai in
the four and twentieth [day] of the month, {saying},
saying <HAG2 -21> Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah,
{saying},
I will shake the heavens and the earth;
saying <ZEC1 -1> In the eighth month, in the second year of
Darius,
came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah,
the
son of Iddo the prophet, {saying},
saying <ZEC1 -4> Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former
prophets have cried, {saying}, Thus saith the LORD of hosts;
Turn ye
now from your evil ways, and [from] your evil doings: but they
did
not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the LORD.
saying <ZEC1 -7> Upon the four and twentieth day of the eleventh
month, which [is] the month Sebat, in the second year of Darius,
came the word of the LORD unto Zechariah, the son of Berechiah,
the
son of Iddo the prophet, {saying},
saying <ZEC1 -14> So the angel that communed with me said unto
me,
Cry thou, {saying}, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I am jealous
for
Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.
saying <ZEC1 -17> Cry yet, {saying}, Thus saith the LORD of
hosts;
My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the
LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.
saying <ZEC1 -21> Then said I, What come these to do? And he
spake,
{saying}, These [are] the horns which have scattered Judah, so
that
no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to
cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up [t
heir] horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.
saying <ZEC2 -4> And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man,
{saying}, Jerusalem shall be inhabited [as] towns without walls
for
the multitude of men and cattle therein:
saying <ZEC3 -4> And he answered and spake unto those that stood
before him, {saying}, Take away the filthy garments from him. And
unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass
from
thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
saying <ZEC3 -6> And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua,
{saying},
saying <ZEC4 -4> So I answered and spake to the angel that talked
with me, {saying}, What [are] these, my lord?
saying <ZEC4 -6> Then he answered and spake unto me, {saying},
This
[is] the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might,
nor
by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
saying <ZEC4 -6> Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This
[is] the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, {saying}, Not by
might,
nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
saying <ZEC4 -8> Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me,
{saying},
saying <ZEC6 -8> Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me,
{saying},
Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my
spirit in the north country.
saying <ZEC6 -9> And the word of the LORD came unto me, {saying},
saying <ZEC6 -12> And speak unto him, {saying}, Thus speaketh the
LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name [is] The BRANCH;
and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the
temple
of the LORD:
saying <ZEC6 -12> And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the
LORD
of hosts, {saying}, Behold the man whose name [is] The BRANCH;
and
he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple
of
the LORD:
saying <ZEC7 -3> And] to speak unto the priests which [were] in
the
house of the LORD of hosts, and to the prophets, {saying},
Should I
weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these
so
many years?
saying <ZEC7 -4> Then came the word of the LORD of hosts unto me,
{saying},
saying <ZEC7 -5> Speak unto all the people of the land, and to
the
priests, {saying}, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and
seventh [month], even those seventy years, did ye at all fast
unto
me, [even] to me?
saying <ZEC7 -8> And the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah,
{saying},
saying <ZEC7 -9> Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, {saying},
Execute
true judgment, and show mercy and compassions every man to his
brother:
saying <ZEC8 -1> Again the word of the LORD of hosts came [to
me],
{saying},
saying <ZEC8 -18> And the word of the LORD of hosts came unto me,
{saying},
saying <ZEC8 -21> And the inhabitants of one [city] shall go to
another, {saying}, Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD,
and
to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also.
saying <ZEC8 -23> Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days [it
shall come to pass], that ten men shall take hold out of all
languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of
him
that is a Jew, {saying}, We will go with you: for we have hea
rd [that] God [is] with you.
saying <MAT1 -20> But while he thought on these things, behold,
the
angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, {saying}, Joseph,
thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for
that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
saying <MAT1 -22> Now all this was done, that it might be
fulfilled
which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, {saying},
saying <MAT2 -2> {Saying}, Where is he that is born King of the
Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to
worship
him.
saying <MAT2 -13> And when they were departed, behold, the angel
of
the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, {saying}, Arise, and
take
the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou
there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the
young child to destroy him.
saying <MAT2 -15> And was there until the death of Herod: that it
might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet,
{saying}, Out of Egypt have I called my son.
saying <MAT2 -17> Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by
Jeremy
the prophet, {saying},
saying <MAT2 -20> {Saying}, Arise, and take the young child and
his
mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which
sought the young child's life.
saying <MAT3 -2> And {saying}, Repent ye: for the kingdom of
heaven
is at hand.
saying <MAT3 -3> For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet
Esaias, {saying}, The voice of one crying in the wilderness,
Prepare
ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
saying <MAT3 -14> But John forbad him, {saying}, I have need to
be
baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
saying <MAT3 -17> And lo a voice from heaven, {saying}, This is
my
beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
saying <MAT4 -14> That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by
Esaias the prophet, {saying},
saying <MAT5 -2> And he opened his mouth, and taught them,
{saying},
saying <MAT6 -31> Therefore take no thought, {saying}, What
shall we
eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be
clothed?
saying <MAT8 -2> And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped
him,
{saying}, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
saying <MAT8 -3> And Jesus put forth [his] hand, and touched him,
{saying}, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was
cleansed.
saying <MAT8 -6> And {saying}, Lord, my servant lieth at home
sick
of the palsy, grievously tormented.
saying <MAT8 -17> That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by
Esaias the prophet, {saying}, Himself took our infirmities, and
bare
[our] sicknesses.
saying <MAT8 -25> And his disciples came to [him], and awoke him,
{saying}, Lord, save us: we perish.
saying <MAT8 -27> But the men marvelled, {saying}, What manner of
man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
saying <MAT8 -29> And, behold, they cried out, {saying}, What
have
we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither
to
torment us before the time?
saying <MAT8 -31> So the devils besought him, {saying}, If thou
cast
us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.
saying <MAT9 -14> Then came to him the disciples of John,
{saying},
Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?
saying <MAT9 -18> While he spake these things unto them, behold,
there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, {saying}, My
daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her,
and
she shall live.
saying <MAT9 -27> And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men
followed him, crying, and {saying}, [Thou] son of David, have
mercy
on us.
saying <MAT9 -29> Then touched he their eyes, {saying},
According to
your faith be it unto you.
saying <MAT9 -30> And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly
charged them, {saying}, See [that] no man know [it].
saying <MAT9 -33> And when the devil was cast out, the dumb
spake:
and the multitudes marvelled, {saying}, It was never so seen in
Israel.
saying <MAT10 -5> These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded
them,
{saying}, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into [any]
city
of the Samaritans enter ye not:
saying <MAT10 -7> And as ye go, preach, {saying}, The kingdom of
heaven is at hand.
saying <MAT11 -17> And {saying}, We have piped unto you, and ye
have
not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented.
saying <MAT12 -10> And, behold, there was a man which had [his]
hand
withered. And they asked him, {saying}, Is it lawful to heal on
the
sabbath days? that they might accuse him.
saying <MAT12 -17> That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by
Esaias the prophet, {saying},
saying <MAT12 -38> Then certain of the scribes and of the
Pharisees
answered, {saying}, Master, we would see a sign from thee.
saying <MAT13 -3> And he spake many things unto them in parables,
{saying}, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;
saying <MAT13 -24> Another parable put he forth unto them,
{saying},
The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good
seed in
his field:
saying <MAT13 -31> Another parable put he forth unto them,
{saying},
The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a
man took, and sowed in his field:
saying <MAT13 -35> That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by
the prophet, {saying}, I will open my mouth in parables; I will
utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of
the
world.
saying <MAT13 -36> Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went
into
the house: and his disciples came unto him, {saying}, Declare
unto
us the parable of the tares of the field.
saying <MAT14 -15> And when it was evening, his disciples came to
him, {saying}, This is a desert place, and the time is now past;
send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and
buy
themselves victuals.
saying <MAT14 -26> And when the disciples saw him walking on the
sea, they were troubled, {saying}, It is a spirit; and they cried
out for fear.
saying <MAT14 -27> But straightway Jesus spake unto them,
{saying},
Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
saying <MAT14 -30> But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was
afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, {saying}, Lord, save me.
saying <MAT14 -33> Then they that were in the ship came and
worshipped him, {saying}, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.
saying <MAT15 -1> Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which
were of Jerusalem, {saying},
saying <MAT15 -4> For God commanded, {saying}, Honour thy father
and
mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the
death.
saying <MAT15 -7> Ye] hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of
you,
{saying},
saying <MAT15 -12> Then came his disciples, and said unto him,
Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard
this
{saying}?
saying <MAT15 -22> And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the
same coasts, and cried unto him, {saying}, Have mercy on me, O
Lord,
[thou] son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a
devil.
saying <MAT15 -23> But he answered her not a word. And his
disciples
came and besought him, {saying}, Send her away; for she crieth
after
us.
saying <MAT15 -25> Then came she and worshipped him, {saying},
Lord,
help me.
saying <MAT16 -7> And they reasoned among themselves, {saying},
[It
is] because we have taken no bread.
saying <MAT16 -13> When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea
Philippi, he asked his disciples, {saying}, Whom do men say that
I
the Son of man am?
saying <MAT16 -22> Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him,
{saying}, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.
saying <MAT17 -9> And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus
charged them, {saying}, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son
of
man be risen again from the dead.
saying <MAT17 -10> And his disciples asked him, {saying}, Why
then
say the scribes that Elias must first come?
saying <MAT17 -14> And when they were come to the multitude,
there
came to him a [certain] man, kneeling down to him, and {saying},
saying <MAT17 -25> He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the
house, Jesus prevented him, {saying}, What thinkest thou, Simon?
of
whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their
own
children, or of strangers?
saying <MAT18 -1> At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus,
{saying}, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
saying <MAT18 -26> The servant therefore fell down, and
worshipped
him, {saying}, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee
all.
saying <MAT18 -28> But the same servant went out, and found one
of
his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid
hands on him, and took [him] by the throat, {saying}, Pay me that
thou owest.
saying <MAT18 -29> And his fellowservant fell down at his feet,
and
besought him, {saying}, Have patience with me, and I will pay
thee
all.
saying <MAT19 -3> The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him,
and {saying} unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his
wife
for every cause?
saying <MAT19 -11> But he said unto them, All [men] cannot
receive
this {saying}, save [they] to whom it is given.
saying <MAT19 -22> But when the young man heard that {saying}, he
went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
saying <MAT19 -25> When his disciples heard [it], they were
exceedingly amazed, {saying}, Who then can be saved?
saying <MAT20 -12> {Saying}, These last have wrought [but] one
hour,
and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the
burden
and heat of the day.
saying <MAT20 -30> And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way
side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, {saying},
Have mercy on us, O Lord, [thou] son of David.
saying <MAT20 -31> And the multitude rebuked them, because they
should hold their peace: but they cried the more, {saying}, Have
mercy on us, O Lord, [thou] son of David.
saying <MAT21 -2> {Saying} unto them, Go into the village over
against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a
colt
with her: loose [them], and bring [them] unto me.
saying <MAT21 -4> All this was done, that it might be fulfilled
which was spoken by the prophet, {saying},
saying <MAT21 -9> And the multitudes that went before, and that
followed, cried, {saying}, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed
[is]
he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.
saying <MAT21 -10> And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the
city
was moved, {saying}, Who is this?
saying <MAT21 -15> And when the chief priests and scribes saw the
wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the
temple,
and {saying}, Hosanna to the son of David; they were sore
displeased,
saying <MAT21 -20> And when the disciples saw [it], they
marvelled,
{saying}, How soon is the fig tree withered away!
saying <MAT21 -25> The baptism of John, whence was it? from
heaven,
or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, {saying}, If we
shall
say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then
believe
him?
saying <MAT21 -37> But last of all he sent unto them his son,
{saying}, They will reverence my son.
saying <MAT22 -4> Again, he sent forth other servants, {saying},
Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my
oxen and [my] fatlings [are] killed, and all things [are] ready:
come unto the marriage.
saying <MAT22 -16> And they sent out unto him their disciples
with
the Herodians, {saying}, Master, we know that thou art true, and
teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any
[man]:
for thou regardest not the person of men.
saying <MAT22 -24> {Saying}, Master, Moses said, If a man die,
having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise
up
seed unto his brother.
saying <MAT22 -31> But as touching the resurrection of the dead,
have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, {saying},
saying <MAT22 -35> Then one of them, [which was] a lawyer, asked
[him a question], tempting him, and {saying},
saying <MAT22 -42> {Saying}, What think ye of Christ? whose son
is
he? They say unto him, [The son] of David.
saying <MAT22 -43> He saith unto them, How then doth David in
spirit
call him Lord, {saying},
saying <MAT23 -2> {Saying}, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in
Moses' seat:
saying <MAT24 -3> And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the
disciples came unto him privately, {saying}, Tell us, when shall
these things be? and what [shall be] the sign of thy coming, and
of
the end of the world?
saying <MAT24 -5> For many shall come in my name, {saying}, I am
Christ; and shall deceive many.
saying <MAT25 -9> But the wise answered, {saying}, [Not so]; lest
there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that
sell, and buy for yourselves.
saying <MAT25 -11> Afterward came also the other virgins,
{saying},
Lord, Lord, open to us.
saying <MAT25 -20> And so he that had received five talents came
and
brought other five talents, {saying}, Lord, thou deliveredst
unto me
five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents
more.
saying <MAT25 -37> Then shall the righteous answer him, {saying},
Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed [thee]? or thirsty,
and
gave [thee] drink?
saying <MAT25 -44> Then shall they also answer him, {saying},
Lord,
when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or
naked,
or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
saying <MAT25 -45> Then shall he answer them, {saying}, Verily I
say
unto you, Inasmuch as ye did [it] not to one of the least of
these,
ye did [it] not to me.
saying <MAT26 -8> But when his disciples saw [it], they had
indignation, {saying}, To what purpose [is] this waste?
saying <MAT26 -17> Now the first [day] of the [feast of]
unleavened
bread the disciples came to Jesus, {saying} unto him, Where wilt
thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?
saying <MAT26 -27> And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave
[it] to them, {saying}, Drink ye all of it;
saying <MAT26 -39> And he went a little farther, and fell on his
face, and prayed, {saying}, O my Father, if it be possible, let
this
cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou [wilt].
saying <MAT26 -42> He went away again the second time, and
prayed,
{saying}, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me,
except
I drink it, thy will be done.
saying <MAT26 -44> And he left them, and went away again, and
prayed
the third time, {saying} the same words.
saying <MAT26 -48> Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign,
{saying}, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him
fast.
saying <MAT26 -65> Then the high priest rent his clothes,
{saying},
He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses?
behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.
saying <MAT26 -68> {Saying}, Prophesy unto us, thou Christ, Who
is
he that smote thee?
saying <MAT26 -69> Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a
damsel
came unto him, {saying}, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee.
saying <MAT26 -70> But he denied before [them] all, {saying}, I
know
not what thou sayest.
saying <MAT26 -74> Then began he to curse and to swear,
[{saying}],
I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew.
saying <MAT27 -4> {Saying}, I have sinned in that I have betrayed
the innocent blood. And they said, What [is that] to us? see thou
[to that].
saying <MAT27 -9> Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by
Jeremy
the prophet, {saying}, And they took the thirty pieces of silver,
the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of
Israel did value;
saying <MAT27 -11> And Jesus stood before the governor: and the
governor asked him, {saying}, Art thou the King of the Jews? And
Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest.
saying <MAT27 -19> When he was set down on the judgment seat, his
wife sent unto him, {saying}, Have thou nothing to do with that
just
man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because
of
him.
saying <MAT27 -23> And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he
done? But they cried out the more, {saying}, Let him be
crucified.
saying <MAT27 -24> When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing,
but [that] rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed
[his]
hands before the multitude, {saying}, I am innocent of the blood
of
this just person: see ye [to it].
saying <MAT27 -29> And when they had platted a crown of thorns,
they
put [it] upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they
bowed
the knee before him, and mocked him, {saying}, Hail, King of the
Jews!
saying <MAT27 -40> And {saying}, Thou that destroyest the temple,
and buildest [it] in three days, save thyself. If thou be the
Son of
God, come down from the cross.
saying <MAT27 -46> And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a
loud
voice, {saying}, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My
God,
my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
saying <MAT27 -54> Now when the centurion, and they that were
with
him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that
were
done, they feared greatly, {saying}, Truly this was the Son of
God.
saying <MAT27 -63> {Saying}, Sir, we remember that that deceiver
said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.
saying <MAT28 -9> And as they went to tell his disciples, behold,
Jesus met them, {saying}, All hail. And they came and held him by
the feet, and worshipped him.
saying <MAT28 -13> {Saying}, Say ye, His disciples came by night,
and stole him [away] while we slept.
saying <MAT28 -15> So they took the money, and did as they were
taught: and this {saying} is commonly reported among the Jews
until
this day.
saying <MAT28 -18> And Jesus came and spake unto them, {saying},
All
power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
saying <MAR1 -7> And preached, {saying}, There cometh one
mightier
than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to
stoop
down and unloose.
saying <MAR1 -11> And there came a voice from heaven, {saying}],
Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
saying <MAR1 -15> And {saying}, The time is fulfilled, and the
kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
saying <MAR1 -24> {Saying}, Let us] alone; what have we to do
with
thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know
thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.
saying <MAR1 -25> And Jesus rebuked him, {saying}, Hold thy
peace,
and come out of him.
saying <MAR1 -27> And they were all amazed, insomuch that they
questioned among themselves, {saying}, What thing is this? what
new
doctrine is] this? for with authority commandeth he even the
unclean
spirits, and they do obey him.
saying <MAR1 -40> And there came a leper to him, beseeching him,
and
kneeling down to him, and {saying} unto him, If thou wilt, thou
canst make me clean.
saying <MAR2 -12> And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and
went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed,
and
glorified God, {saying}, We never saw it on this fashion.
saying <MAR3 -11> And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell
down
before him, and cried, {saying}, Thou art the Son of God.
saying <MAR3 -33> And he answered them, {saying}, Who is my
mother,
or my brethren?
saying <MAR5 -9> And he asked him, What is] thy name? And he
answered, {saying}, My name is] Legion: for we are many.
saying <MAR5 -12> And all the devils besought him, {saying},
Send us
into the swine, that we may enter into them.
saying <MAR5 -23> And besought him greatly, {saying}, My little
daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee], come and lay
thy
hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.
saying <MAR6 -2> And when the sabbath day was come, he began to
teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him] were astonished,
{saying}, From whence hath this man] these things? and what
wisdom
is] this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works
are wrought by his hands?
saying <MAR6 -25> And she came in straightway with haste unto the
king, and asked, {saying}, I will that thou give me by and by in
a
charger the head of John the Baptist.
saying <MAR7 -29> And he said unto her, For this {saying} go thy
way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.
saying <MAR7 -37> And were beyond measure astonished, {saying},
He
hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and
the
dumb to speak.
saying <MAR8 -15> And he charged them, {saying}, Take heed,
beware
of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of] the leaven of Herod.
saying <MAR8 -16> And they reasoned among themselves, {saying},
It
is] because we have no bread.
saying <MAR8 -26> And he sent him away to his house, {saying},
Neither go into the town, nor tell it] to any in the town.
saying <MAR8 -27> And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the
towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his
disciples,
{saying} unto them, Whom do men say that I am?
saying <MAR8 -32> And he spake that {saying} openly. And Peter
took
him, and began to rebuke him.
saying <MAR8 -33> But when he had turned about and looked on his
disciples, he rebuked Peter, {saying}, Get thee behind me, Satan:
for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things
that be of men.
saying <MAR9 -7> And there was a cloud that overshadowed them:
and a
voice came out of the cloud, {saying}, This is my beloved Son:
hear
him.
saying <MAR9 -10> And they kept that {saying} with themselves,
questioning one with another what the rising from the dead should
mean.
saying <MAR9 -11> And they asked him, {saying}, Why say the
scribes
that Elias must first come?
saying <MAR9 -25> When Jesus saw that the people came running
together, he rebuked the foul spirit, {saying} unto him, Thou]
dumb
and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no
more
into him.
saying <MAR9 -32> But they understood not that {saying}, and were
afraid to ask him.
saying <MAR9 -38> And John answered him, {saying}, Master, we saw
one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and
we
forbad him, because he followeth not us.
saying <MAR10 -22> And he was sad at that {saying}, and went away
grieved: for he had great possessions.
saying <MAR10 -26> And they were astonished out of measure,
{saying}
among themselves, Who then can be saved?
saying <MAR10 -33> {Saying}], Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and
the
Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto
the
scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver
him
to the Gentiles:
saying <MAR10 -35> And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come
unto him, {saying}, Master, we would that thou shouldest do for
us
whatsoever we shall desire.
saying <MAR10 -49> And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be
called. And they call the blind man, {saying} unto him, Be of
good
comfort, rise; he calleth thee.
saying <MAR11 -9> And they that went before, and they that
followed,
cried, {saying}, Hosanna; Blessed is] he that cometh in the name
of
the Lord:
saying <MAR11 -17> And he taught, {saying} unto them, Is it not
written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of
prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.
saying <MAR11 -31> And they reasoned with themselves, {saying},
If
we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not
believe
him?
saying <MAR12 -6> Having yet therefore one son, his wellbeloved,
he
sent him also last unto them, {saying}, They will reverence my
son.
saying <MAR12 -18> Then come unto him the Sadducees, which say
there
is no resurrection; and they asked him, {saying},
saying <MAR12 -26> And as touching the dead, that they rise:
have ye
not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto
him,
{saying}, I am] the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the
God of Jacob?
saying <MAR13 -6> For many shall come in my name, {saying}, I am
Christ]; and shall deceive many.
saying <MAR14 -44> And he that betrayed him had given them a
token,
{saying}, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he; take him, and
lead him] away safely.
saying <MAR14 -57> And there arose certain, and bare false
witness
against him, {saying},
saying <MAR14 -60> And the high priest stood up in the midst, and
asked Jesus, {saying}, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which]
these witness against thee?
saying <MAR14 -68> But he denied, {saying}, I know not, neither
understand I what thou sayest. And he went out into the porch;
and
the cock crew.
saying <MAR14 -71> But he began to curse and to swear, {saying}],
I
know not this man of whom ye speak.
saying <MAR15 -4> And Pilate asked him again, {saying}, Answerest
thou nothing? behold how many things they witness against thee.
saying <MAR15 -9> But Pilate answered them, {saying}, Will ye
that I
release unto you the King of the Jews?
saying <MAR15 -29> And they that passed by railed on him, wagging
their heads, and {saying}, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple,
and
buildest it] in three days,
saying <MAR15 -34> And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud
voice, {saying}, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being
interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
saying <MAR15 -36> And one ran and filled a sponge full of
vinegar,
and put it] on a reed, and gave him to drink, {saying}, Let
alone;
let us see whether Elias will come to take him down.
saying <LUK1 -24> And after those days his wife Elisabeth
conceived,
and hid herself five months, {saying},
saying <LUK1 -29> And when she saw him], she was troubled at his
{saying}, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this
should
be.
saying <LUK1 -63> And he asked for a writing table, and wrote,
{saying}, His name is John. And they marvelled all.
saying <LUK1 -66> And all they that heard them] laid them] up in
their hearts, {saying}, What manner of child shall this be! And
the
hand of the Lord was with him.
saying <LUK1 -67> And his father Zacharias was filled with the
Holy
Ghost, and prophesied, {saying},
saying <LUK2 -13> And suddenly there was with the angel a
multitude
of the heavenly host praising God, and {saying},
saying <LUK2 -17> And when they had seen it], they made known
abroad
the {saying} which was told them concerning this child.
saying <LUK2 -50> And they understood not the {saying} which he
spake unto them.
saying <LUK3 -4> As it is written in the book of the words of
Esaias
the prophet, {saying}, The voice of one crying in the wilderness,
Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
saying <LUK3 -10> And the people asked him, {saying}, What shall
we
do then?
saying <LUK3 -14> And the soldiers likewise demanded of him,
{saying}, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do
violence
to no man, neither accuse any] falsely; and be content with your
wages.
saying <LUK3 -16> John answered, {saying} unto them] all, I
indeed
baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the
latchet
of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you
with
the Holy Ghost and with fire:
saying <LUK4 -4> And Jesus answered him, {saying}, It is written,
That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
saying <LUK4 -34> {Saying}, Let us] alone; what have we to do
with
thee, thou] Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I
know
thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.
saying <LUK4 -35> And Jesus rebuked him, {saying}, Hold thy
peace,
and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the
midst,
he came out of him, and hurt him not.
saying <LUK4 -36> And they were all amazed, and spake among
themselves, {saying}, What a word is] this! for with authority
and
power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.
saying <LUK4 -41> And devils also came out of many, crying out,
and
{saying}, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them]
suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.
saying <LUK5 -8> When Simon Peter saw it], he fell down at Jesus'
knees, {saying}, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.
saying <LUK5 -12> And it came to pass, when he was in a certain
city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his]
face, and besought him, {saying}, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst
make me clean.
saying <LUK5 -13> And he put forth his] hand, and touched him,
{saying}, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy
departed from him.
saying <LUK5 -21> And the scribes and the Pharisees began to
reason,
{saying}, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive
sins, but God alone?
saying <LUK5 -26> And they were all amazed, and they glorified
God,
and were filled with fear, {saying}, We have seen strange things
to
day.
saying <LUK5 -30> But their scribes and Pharisees murmured
against
his disciples, {saying}, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans
and
sinners?
saying <LUK7 -4> And when they came to Jesus, they besought him
instantly, {saying}, That he was worthy for whom he should do
this:
saying <LUK7 -6> Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now
not
far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, {saying}
unto
him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou
shouldest enter under my roof:
saying <LUK7 -16> And there came a fear on all: and they
glorified
God, {saying}, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and,
That
God hath visited his people.
saying <LUK7 -19> And John calling unto him] two of his disciples
sent them] to Jesus, {saying}, Art thou he that should come? or
look
we for another?
saying <LUK7 -20> When the men were come unto him, they said,
John
Baptist hath sent us unto thee, {saying}, Art thou he that should
come? or look we for another?
saying <LUK7 -32> They are like unto children sitting in the
marketplace, and calling one to another, and {saying}, We have
piped
unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to you, and ye
have not wept.
saying <LUK7 -39> Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw
it], he spake within himself, {saying}, This man, if he were a
prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is]
that
toucheth him: for she is a sinner.
saying <LUK8 -9> And his disciples asked him, {saying}, What
might
this parable be?
saying <LUK8 -24> And they came to him, and awoke him, {saying},
Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind
and
the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.
saying <LUK8 -25> And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And
they being afraid wondered, {saying} one to another, What manner
of
man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they
obey him.
saying <LUK8 -30> And Jesus asked him, {saying}, What is thy
name?
And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.
saying <LUK8 -38> Now the man out of whom the devils were
departed
besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away,
{saying},
saying <LUK8 -49> While he yet spake, there cometh one from the
ruler of the synagogue's house], {saying} to him, Thy daughter is
dead; trouble not the Master.
saying <LUK8 -50> But when Jesus heard it], he answered him,
{saying}, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
saying <LUK8 -54> And he put them all out, and took her by the
hand,
and called, {saying}, Maid, arise.
saying <LUK9 -18> And it came to pass, as he was alone praying,
his
disciples were with him: and he asked them, {saying}, Whom say
the
people that I am?
saying <LUK9 -22> {Saying}, The Son of man must suffer many
things,
and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and
be
slain, and be raised the third day.
saying <LUK9 -35> And there came a voice out of the cloud,
{saying},
This is my beloved Son: hear him.
saying <LUK9 -38> And, behold, a man of the company cried out,
{saying}, Master, I beseech thee, look upon my son: for he is
mine
only child.
saying <LUK9 -45> But they understood not this {saying}, and it
was
hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask
him of that saying.
saying <LUK9 -45> But they understood not this saying, and it was
hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask
him of that {saying}.
saying <LUK10 -17> And the seventy returned again with joy,
{saying}, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy
name.
saying <LUK10 -25> And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and
tempted him, {saying}, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal
life?
saying <LUK11 -45> Then answered one of the lawyers, and said
unto
him, Master, thus {saying} thou reproachest us also.
saying <LUK12 -16> And he spake a parable unto them, {saying},
The
ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
saying <LUK12 -17> And he thought within himself, {saying}, What
shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
saying <LUK13 -25> When once the master of the house is risen up,
and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to
knock at the door, {saying}, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he
shall
answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
saying <LUK13 -31> The same day there came certain of the
Pharisees,
{saying} unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will
kill thee.
saying <LUK14 -3> And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and
Pharisees, {saying}, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day?
saying <LUK14 -5> And answered them, {saying}, Which of you shall
have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway
pull him out on the sabbath day?
saying <LUK14 -7> And he put forth a parable to those which were
bidden, when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms;
{saying}
unto them,
saying <LUK14 -30> {Saying}, This man began to build, and was not
able to finish.
saying <LUK15 -2> And the Pharisees and scribes murmured,
{saying},
This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.
saying <LUK15 -3> And he spake this parable unto them, {saying},
saying <LUK15 -6> And when he cometh home, he calleth together
his]
friends and neighbours, {saying} unto them, Rejoice with me; for
I
have found my sheep which was lost.
saying <LUK15 -9> And when she hath found it], she calleth her]
friends and her] neighbours together, {saying}, Rejoice with me;
for
I have found the piece which I had lost.
saying <LUK17 -4> And if he trespass against thee seven times in
a
day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, {saying}, I
repent; thou shalt forgive him.
saying <LUK18 -2> {Saying}, There was in a city a judge, which
feared not God, neither regarded man:
saying <LUK18 -3> And there was a widow in that city; and she
came
unto him, {saying}, Avenge me of mine adversary.
saying <LUK18 -13> And the publican, standing afar off, would not
lift up so much as his] eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his
breast,
{saying}, God be merciful to me a sinner.
saying <LUK18 -18> And a certain ruler asked him, {saying}, Good
Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
saying <LUK18 -34> And they understood none of these things: and
this {saying} was hid from them, neither knew they the things
which
were spoken.
saying <LUK18 -38> And he cried, {saying}, Jesus, thou] son of
David, have mercy on me.
saying <LUK18 -41> {Saying}, What wilt thou that I shall do unto
thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.
saying <LUK19 -7> And when they saw it], they all murmured,
{saying}, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a
sinner.
saying <LUK19 -14> But his citizens hated him, and sent a message
after him, {saying}, We will not have this man] to reign over us.
saying <LUK19 -16> Then came the first, {saying}, Lord, thy pound
hath gained ten pounds.
saying <LUK19 -18> And the second came, {saying}, Lord, thy pound
hath gained five pounds.
saying <LUK19 -20> And another came, {saying}, Lord, behold, here
is] thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin:
saying <LUK19 -30> {Saying}, Go ye into the village over against
you]; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied,
whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither].
saying <LUK19 -38> {Saying}, Blessed be] the King that cometh in
the
name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
saying <LUK19 -42> {Saying}, If thou hadst known, even thou, at
least in this thy day, the things which belong] unto thy peace!
but
now they are hid from thine eyes.
saying <LUK19 -46> {Saying} unto them, It is written, My house is
the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
saying <LUK20 -2> And spake unto him, {saying}, Tell us, by what
authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee
this
authority?
saying <LUK20 -5> And they reasoned with themselves, {saying},
If we
shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him
not?
saying <LUK20 -14> But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned
among themselves, {saying}, This is the heir: come, let us kill
him,
that the inheritance may be ours.
saying <LUK20 -21> And they asked him, {saying}, Master, we know
that thou sayest and teachest rightly, neither acceptest thou the
person of any], but teachest the way of God truly:
saying <LUK20 -28> {Saying}, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any
man's brother die, having a wife, and he die without children,
that
his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his
brother.
saying <LUK21 -7> And they asked him, {saying}, Master, but when
shall these things be? and what sign will there be] when these
things shall come to pass?
saying <LUK21 -8> And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived:
for many shall come in my name, {saying}, I am Christ]; and the
time
draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
saying <LUK22 -8> And he sent Peter and John, {saying}, Go and
prepare us the passover, that we may eat.
saying <LUK22 -19> And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake
it], and gave unto them, {saying}, This is my body which is given
for you: this do in remembrance of me.
saying <LUK22 -20> Likewise also the cup after supper, {saying},
This cup is] the new testament in my blood, which is shed for
you.
saying <LUK22 -42> {Saying}, Father, if thou be willing, remove
this
cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
saying <LUK22 -57> And he denied him, {saying}, Woman, I know him
not.
saying <LUK22 -59> And about the space of one hour after another
confidently affirmed, {saying}, Of a truth this fellow] also was
with him: for he is a Galilaean.
saying <LUK22 -64> And when they had blindfolded him, they struck
him on the face, and asked him, {saying}, Prophesy, who is it
that
smote thee?
saying <LUK22 -66> And as soon as it was day, the elders of the
people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and
led
him into their council, {saying},
saying <LUK23 -2> And they began to accuse him, saying, We found
this fellow] perverting the nation, and forbidding to give
tribute
to Caesar, {saying} that he himself is Christ a King.
saying <LUK23 -2> And they began to accuse him, {saying}, We
found
this fellow] perverting the nation, and forbidding to give
tribute
to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King.
saying <LUK23 -3> And Pilate asked him, {saying}, Art thou the
King
of the Jews? And he answered him and said, Thou sayest it].
saying <LUK23 -5> And they were the more fierce, {saying}, He
stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning
from Galilee to this place.
saying <LUK23 -18> And they cried out all at once, {saying}, Away
with this man], and release unto us Barabbas:
saying <LUK23 -21> But they cried, {saying}, Crucify him],
crucify
him.
saying <LUK23 -35> And the people stood beholding. And the rulers
also with them derided him], {saying}, He saved others; let him
save
himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.
saying <LUK23 -37> And {saying}, If thou be the king of the Jews,
save thyself.
saying <LUK23 -39> And one of the malefactors which were hanged
railed on him, {saying}, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
saying <LUK23 -40> But the other answering rebuked him, {saying},
Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
saying <LUK23 -47> Now when the centurion saw what was done, he
glorified God, {saying}, Certainly this was a righteous man.
saying <LUK24 -7> {Saying}, The Son of man must be delivered into
the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise
again.
saying <LUK24 -23> And when they found not his body, they came,
{saying}, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said
that he was alive.
saying <LUK24 -29> But they constrained him, {saying}, Abide with
us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he
went
in to tarry with them.
saying <LUK24 -34> {Saying}, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath
appeared to Simon.
saying <JOH1 -15> John bare witness of him, and cried, {saying},
This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred
before me: for he was before me.
saying <JOH1 -26> John answered them, {saying}, I baptize with
water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;
saying <JOH1 -32> And John bare record, {saying}, I saw the
Spirit
descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.
saying <JOH4 -31> In the mean while his disciples prayed him,
{saying}, Master, eat.
saying <JOH4 -37> And herein is that {saying} true, One soweth,
and
another reapeth.
saying <JOH4 -39> And many of the Samaritans of that city
believed
on him for the {saying} of the woman, which testified, He told me
all that ever I did.
saying <JOH4 -42> And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not
because of thy {saying}: for we have heard him] ourselves, and
know
that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.
saying <JOH4 -51> And as he was now going down, his servants met
him, and told him], {saying}, Thy son liveth.
saying <JOH6 -52> The Jews therefore strove among themselves,
{saying}, How can this man give us his] flesh to eat?
saying <JOH6 -60> Many therefore of his disciples, when they had
heard this], said, This is an hard {saying}; who can hear it?
saying <JOH7 -15> And the Jews marvelled, {saying}, How knoweth
this
man letters, having never learned?
saying <JOH7 -28> Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught,
{saying}, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not
come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.
saying <JOH7 -36> What manner of] {saying} is this that he said,
Ye
shall seek me, and shall not find me]: and where I am, thither]
ye
cannot come?
saying <JOH7 -37> In the last day, that great day] of the feast,
Jesus stood and cried, {saying}, If any man thirst, let him come
unto me, and drink.
saying <JOH7 -40> Many of the people therefore, when they heard
this
{saying}, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.
saying <JOH8 -12> Then spake Jesus again unto them, {saying}, I
am
the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in
darkness, but shall have the light of life.
saying <JOH8 -51> Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep
my
{saying}, he shall never see death.
saying <JOH8 -52> Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that
thou
hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest,
If
a man keep my {saying}, he shall never taste of death.
saying <JOH8 -55> Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and
if
I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you:
but I
know him, and keep his {saying}.
saying <JOH9 -2> And his disciples asked him, {saying}, Master,
who
did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
saying <JOH9 -19> And they asked them, {saying}, Is this your
son,
who ye say was born blind? how then doth he now see?
saying <JOH10 -33> The Jews answered him, {saying}, For a good
work
we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou,
being a
man, makest thyself God.
saying <JOH11 -3> Therefore his sisters sent unto him, {saying},
Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.
saying <JOH11 -28> And when she had so said, she went her way,
and
called Mary her sister secretly, {saying}, The Master is come,
and
calleth for thee.
saying <JOH11 -31> The Jews then which were with her in the
house,
and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily
and
went out, followed her, {saying}, She goeth unto the grave to
weep
there.
saying <JOH11 -32> Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and
saw
him, she fell down at his feet, {saying} unto him, Lord, if thou
hadst been here, my brother had not died.
saying <JOH12 -21> The same came therefore to Philip, which was
of
Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, {saying}, Sir, we would
see
Jesus.
saying <JOH12 -23> And Jesus answered them, {saying}, The hour is
come, that the Son of man should be glorified.
saying <JOH12 -28> Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a
voice
from heaven, {saying}], I have both glorified it], and will
glorify
it] again.
saying <JOH12 -38> That the {saying} of Esaias the prophet might
be
fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report?
and
to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?
saying <JOH15 -20> Remember the word that I said unto you, The
servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me,
they will also persecute you; if they have kept my {saying}, they
will keep yours also.
saying <JOH18 -9> That the {saying} might be fulfilled, which he
spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none.
saying <JOH18 -22> And when he had thus spoken, one of the
officers
which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, {saying},
Answerest thou the high priest so?
saying <JOH18 -32> That the {saying} of Jesus might be fulfilled,
which he spake, signifying what death he should die.
saying <JOH18 -40> Then cried they all again, {saying}, Not this
man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber.
saying <JOH19 -6> When the chief priests therefore and officers
saw
him, they cried out, {saying}, Crucify him], crucify him]. Pilate
saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him]: for I find no
fault
in him.
saying <JOH19 -8> When Pilate therefore heard that {saying}, he
was
the more afraid;
saying <JOH19 -12> And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release
him: but the Jews cried out, {saying}, If thou let this man go,
thou
art not Caesar's friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh
against Caesar.
saying <JOH19 -13> When Pilate therefore heard that {saying}, he
brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place
that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha.
saying <JOH21 -23> Then went this {saying} abroad among the
brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not
unto
him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come,
what is that] to thee?
saying <ACT1 -6> When they therefore were come together, they
asked
of him, {saying}, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the
kingdom to Israel?
saying <ACT2 -7> And they were all amazed and marvelled, {saying}
one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
saying <ACT2 -12> And they were all amazed, and were in doubt,
{saying} one to another, What meaneth this?
saying <ACT2 -40> And with many other words did he testify and
exhort, {saying}, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
saying <ACT3 -25> Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the
covenant which God made with our fathers, {saying} unto Abraham,
And
in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.
saying <ACT4 -16> {Saying}, What shall we do to these men? for
that
indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is] manifest to
all
them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it].
saying <ACT5 -23> {Saying}, The prison truly found we shut with
all
safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but
when
we had opened, we found no man within.
saying <ACT5 -25> Then came one and told them, {saying}, Behold,
the
men whom ye put in prison are standing in the temple, and
teaching
the people.
saying <ACT5 -28> {Saying}, Did not we straitly command you that
ye
should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled
Jerusalem
with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.
saying <ACT6 -5> And the {saying} pleased the whole multitude:
and
they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost,
and
Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and
Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:
saying <ACT7 -26> And the next day he showed himself unto them as
they strove, and would have set them at one again, {saying},
Sirs,
ye are brethren; why do ye wrong one to another?
saying <ACT7 -27> But he that did his neighbour wrong thrust him
away, {saying}, Who made thee a ruler and a judge over us?
saying <ACT7 -29> Then fled Moses at this {saying}, and was a
stranger in the land of Madian, where he begat two sons.
saying <ACT7 -32> {Saying}], I am] the God of thy fathers, the
God
of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then
Moses
trembled, and durst not behold.
saying <ACT7 -35> This Moses whom they refused, {saying}, Who
made
thee a ruler and a judge? the same did God send to be] a ruler
and a
deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the
bush.
saying <ACT7 -40> {Saying} unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before
us:
for as for] this Moses, which brought us out of the land of
Egypt,
we wot not what is become of him.
saying <ACT7 -59> And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God], and
{saying}, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
saying <ACT8 -10> To whom they all gave heed, from the least to
the
greatest, {saying}, This man is the great power of God.
saying <ACT8 -19> {Saying}, Give me also this power, that on
whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.
saying <ACT8 -26> And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip,
{saying}, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth
down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.
saying <ACT9 -4> And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice
{saying} unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
saying <ACT10 -3> He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth
hour
of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and {saying} unto
him,
Cornelius.
saying <ACT10 -26> But Peter took him up, {saying}, Stand up; I
myself also am a man.
saying <ACT11 -3> {Saying}, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised,
and didst eat with them.
saying <ACT11 -4> But Peter rehearsed the matter] from the
beginning, and expounded it] by order unto them, {saying},
saying <ACT11 -7> And I heard a voice {saying} unto me, Arise,
Peter; slay and eat.
saying <ACT11 -18> When they heard these things, they held their
peace, and glorified God, {saying}, Then hath God also to the
Gentiles granted repentance unto life.
saying <ACT12 -7> And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon
him],
and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side,
and raised him up, {saying}, Arise up quickly. And his chains
fell
off from his] hands.
saying <ACT12 -22> And the people gave a shout, {saying}, It is]
the
voice of a god, and not of a man.
saying <ACT13 -15> And after the reading of the law and the
prophets
the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, {saying}, Ye] men
and]
brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say
on.
saying <ACT13 -47> For so hath the Lord commanded us, {saying}],
I
have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest
be
for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
saying <ACT14 -11> And when the people saw what Paul had done,
they
lifted up their voices, {saying} in the speech of Lycaonia, The
gods
are come down to us in the likeness of men.
saying <ACT14 -15> And {saying}, Sirs, why do ye these things? We
also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that
ye
should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made
heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are t
herein:
saying <ACT15 -5> But there rose up certain of the sect of the
Pharisees which believed, {saying}, That it was needful to
circumcise them, and to command them] to keep the law of Moses.
saying <ACT15 -13> And after they had held their peace, James
answered, {saying}, Men and] brethren, hearken unto me:
saying <ACT15 -24> Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which
went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your
souls, {saying}, Ye must] be circumcised, and keep the law: to
whom
we gave no such] commandment:
saying <ACT16 -9> And a vision appeared to Paul in the night;
There
stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, {saying}, Come over
into
Macedonia, and help us.
saying <ACT16 -15> And when she was baptized, and her household,
she
besought us], {saying}, If ye have judged me to be faithful to
the
Lord, come into my house, and abide there]. And she constrained
us.
saying <ACT16 -17> The same followed Paul and us, and cried,
{saying}, These men are the servants of the most high God, which
show unto us the way of salvation.
saying <ACT16 -20> And brought them to the magistrates, {saying},
These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city,
saying <ACT16 -28> But Paul cried with a loud voice, {saying}, Do
thyself no harm: for we are all here.
saying <ACT16 -35> And when it was day, the magistrates sent the
serjeants, {saying}, Let those men go.
saying <ACT16 -36> And the keeper of the prison told this
{saying}
to Paul, The magistrates have sent to let you go: now therefore
depart, and go in peace.
saying <ACT17 -7> Whom Jason hath received: and these all do
contrary to the decrees of Caesar, {saying} that there is another
king, one] Jesus.
saying <ACT17 -19> And they took him, and brought him unto
Areopagus, {saying}, May we know what this new doctrine, whereof
thou speakest, is]?
saying <ACT18 -13> {Saying}, This fellow] persuadeth men to
worship
God contrary to the law.
saying <ACT18 -21> But bade them farewell, {saying}, I must by
all
means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return
again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus.
saying <ACT19 -4> Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the
baptism of repentance, {saying} unto the people, that they should
believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ
Jesus.
saying <ACT19 -13> Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists,
took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name
of
the Lord Jesus, {saying}, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul
preacheth.
saying <ACT19 -21> After these things were ended, Paul purposed
in
the spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to
go
to Jerusalem, {saying}, After I have been there, I must also see
Rome.
saying <ACT19 -26> Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at
Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded
and turned away much people, {saying} that they be no gods, which
are made with hands:
saying <ACT19 -28> And when they heard these sayings], they were
full of wrath, and cried out, {saying}, Great is] Diana of the
Ephesians.
saying <ACT20 -23> Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every
city, {saying} that bonds and afflictions abide me.
saying <ACT21 -14> And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased,
{saying}, The will of the Lord be done.
saying <ACT21 -21> And they are informed of thee, that thou
teachest
all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses,
{saying}
that they ought not to circumcise their] children, neither to
walk
after the customs.
saying <ACT21 -40> And when he had given him licence, Paul stood
on
the stairs, and beckoned with the hand unto the people. And when
there was made a great silence, he spake unto them] in the Hebrew
tongue, {saying},
saying <ACT22 -7> And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice
{saying} unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
saying <ACT22 -18> And saw him {saying} unto me, Make haste, and
get
thee quickly out of Jerusalem: for they will not receive thy
testimony concerning me.
saying <ACT22 -26> When the centurion heard that], he went and
told
the chief captain, {saying}, Take heed what thou doest: for this
man
is a Roman.
saying <ACT23 -9> And there arose a great cry: and the scribes
that
were] of the Pharisees' part arose, and strove, {saying}, We
find no
evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him,
let us not fight against God.
saying <ACT23 -12> And when it was day, certain of the Jews
banded
together, and bound themselves under a curse, {saying} that they
would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.
saying <ACT23 -23> And he called unto him] two centurions,
{saying},
Make ready two hundred soldiers to go to Caesarea, and horsemen
threescore and ten, and spearmen two hundred, at the third hour
of
the night;
saying <ACT24 -2> And when he was called forth, Tertullus began
to
accuse him], {saying}, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great
quietness,
and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy
providence,
saying <ACT24 -9> And the Jews also assented, {saying} that these
things were so.
saying <ACT25 -14> And when they had been there many days, Festus
declared Paul's cause unto the king, {saying}, There is a certain
man left in bonds by Felix:
saying <ACT26 -14> And when we were all fallen to the earth, I
heard
a voice speaking unto me, and {saying} in the Hebrew tongue,
Saul,
Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is] hard for thee to kick
against
the pricks.
saying <ACT26 -22> Having therefore obtained help of God, I
continue
unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, {saying} none
other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say
should
come:
saying <ACT26 -31> And when they were gone aside, they talked
between themselves, {saying}, This man doeth nothing worthy of
death
or of bonds.
saying <ACT27 -24> {Saying}, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought
before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail
with
thee.
saying <ACT27 -33> And while the day was coming on, Paul besought
them] all to take meat, {saying}, This day is the fourteenth day
that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing.
saying <ACT28 -26> {Saying}, Go unto this people, and say,
Hearing
ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see,
and not perceive:
saying <ROM4 -7> {Saying}], Blessed are] they whose iniquities
are
forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
saying <ROM11 -2> God hath not cast away his people which he
foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he
maketh intercession to God against Israel, {saying},
saying <ROM13 -9> For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou
shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false
witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be] any other
commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this {saying}, namely,
Th
ou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
saying <1CO11 -25> After the same manner also he took] the cup,
when
he had supped, {saying}, This cup is the new testament in my
blood:
this do ye, as oft as ye drink it], in remembrance of me.
saying <1CO15 -54> So when this corruptible shall have put on
incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then
shall be brought to pass the {saying} that is written, Death is
swallowed up in victory.
saying <GAL3 -8> And the scripture, foreseeing that God would
justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel
unto
Abraham, {saying}], In thee shall all nations be blessed.
saying <1TI1 -15> This is] a faithful {saying}, and worthy of all
acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save
sinners;
of whom I am chief.
saying <1TI3 -1> This is] a true {saying}, If a man desire the
office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
saying <1TI4 -9> This is] a faithful {saying} and worthy of all
acceptation.
saying <2TI2 -11> It is] a faithful {saying}: For if we be dead
with
him], we shall also live with him]:
saying <2TI2 -18> Who concerning the truth have erred, {saying}
that
the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of
some.
saying <TIT3 -8> This is] a faithful {saying}, and these things I
will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed
in
God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are
good
and profitable unto men.
saying <HEB2 -6> But one in a certain place testified, {saying},
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man,
that
thou visitest him?
saying <HEB2 -12> {Saying}, I will declare thy name unto my
brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto
thee.
saying <HEB4 -7> Again, he limiteth a certain day, {saying} in
David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye
will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
saying <HEB6 -14> {Saying}, Surely blessing I will bless thee,
and
multiplying I will multiply thee.
saying <HEB8 -11> And they shall not teach every man his
neighbour,
and every man his brother, {saying}, Know the Lord: for all shall
know me, from the least to the greatest.
saying <HEB9 -20> {Saying}, This is] the blood of the testament
which God hath enjoined unto you.
saying <HEB12 -26> Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he
hath
promised, {saying}, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but
also heaven.
saying <2PE3 -4> And {saying}, Where is the promise of his
coming?
for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they
were]
from the beginning of the creation.
saying <JUD1 -14> And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam,
prophesied
of these, {saying}, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of
his saints,
saying <REV1 -11> {Saying}, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and
the
last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it] unto
the
seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna,
and
unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis,
and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
saying <REV1 -17> And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead.
And he laid his right hand upon me, {saying} unto me, Fear not;
I am
the first and the last:
saying <REV4 -8> And the four beasts had each of them six wings
about him]; and they were] full of eyes within: and they rest not
day and night, {saying}, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty,
which
was, and is, and is to come.
saying <REV4 -10> The four and twenty elders fall down before him
that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and
ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, {saying},
saying <REV5 -9> And they sung a new song, {saying}, Thou art
worthy
to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast
slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every
kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
saying <REV5 -12> {Saying} with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb
that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and
strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
saying <REV5 -13> And every creature which is in heaven, and on
the
earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all
that
are in them, heard I {saying}, Blessing, and honour, and glory,
and
power, be] unto him that sitteth upon the throne,
and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
saying <REV6 -1> And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals,
and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four
beasts
{saying}, Come and see.
saying <REV6 -10> And they cried with a loud voice, {saying}, How
long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our
blood on them that dwell on the earth?
saying <REV7 -3> {Saying}, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea,
nor
the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their
foreheads.
saying <REV7 -10> And cried with a loud voice, {saying},
Salvation
to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
saying <REV7 -12> {Saying}, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and
wisdom,
and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be] unto our
God
for ever and ever. Amen.
saying <REV7 -13> And one of the elders answered, {saying} unto
me,
What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came
they?
saying <REV8 -13> And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through
the midst of heaven, {saying} with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe,
to
the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the
trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
saying <REV9 -14> {Saying} to the sixth angel which had the
trumpet,
Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river
Euphrates.
saying <REV10 -4> And when the seven thunders had uttered their
voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven
{saying} unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders
uttered, and write them not.
saying <REV11 -1> And there was given me a reed like unto a rod:
and
the angel stood, {saying}, Rise, and measure the temple of God,
and
the altar, and them that worship therein.
saying <REV11 -12> And they heard a great voice from heaven
{saying}
unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a
cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
saying <REV11 -15> And the seventh angel sounded; and there were
great voices in heaven, {saying}, The kingdoms of this world are
become the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall
reign for ever and ever.
saying <REV11 -17> {Saying}, We give thee thanks, O Lord God
Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast
taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
saying <REV12 -10> And I heard a loud voice {saying} in heaven,
Now
is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and
the
power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast
down,
which accused them before our God day and night.
saying <REV13 -4> And they worshipped the dragon which gave power
unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, {saying}, Who is]
like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
saying <REV13 -14> And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by
the
means of] those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of
the beast; {saying} to them that dwell on the earth, that they
should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by
a sword, and did live.
saying <REV14 -7> {Saying} with a loud voice, Fear God, and give
glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship
him
that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of
waters.
saying <REV14 -8> And there followed another angel, {saying},
Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made
all
nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
saying <REV14 -9> And the third angel followed them, {saying}
with a
loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and
receive
his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
saying <REV14 -13> And I heard a voice from heaven {saying} unto
me,
Write, Blessed are] the dead which die in the Lord from
henceforth:
Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and
their works do follow them.
saying <REV14 -18> And another angel came out from the altar,
which
had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had
the
sharp sickle, {saying}, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather
the
clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are
fully ripe.
saying <REV15 -3> And they sing the song of Moses the servant of
God, and the song of the Lamb, {saying}, Great and marvellous
are]
thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are] thy ways, thou
King
of saints.
saying <REV16 -1> And I heard a great voice out of the temple
{saying} to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the
vials
of the wrath of God upon the earth.
saying <REV16 -17> And the seventh angel poured out his vial into
the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of
heaven,
from the throne, {saying}, It is done.
saying <REV17 -1> And there came one of the seven angels which
had
the seven vials, and talked with me, {saying} unto me, Come
hither;
I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore that
sitteth
upon many waters:
saying <REV18 -2> And he cried mightily with a strong voice,
{saying}, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become
the
habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a
cage
of every unclean and hateful bird.
saying <REV18 -4> And I heard another voice from heaven,
{saying},
Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins,
and that ye receive not of her plagues.
saying <REV18 -10> Standing afar off for the fear of her torment,
{saying}, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city!
for
in one hour is thy judgment come.
saying <REV18 -16> And {saying}, Alas, alas, that great city,
that
was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked
with
gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
saying <REV18 -18> And cried when they saw the smoke of her
burning,
{saying}, What city is] like unto this great city!
saying <REV18 -19> And they cast dust on their heads, and cried,
weeping and wailing, {saying}, Alas, alas, that great city,
wherein
were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her
costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
saying <REV18 -21> And a mighty angel took up a stone like a
great
millstone, and cast it] into the sea, {saying}, Thus with
violence
shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found
no
more at all.
saying <REV19 -1> And after these things I heard a great voice of
much people in heaven, {saying}, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory,
and
honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:
saying <REV19 -4> And the four and twenty elders and the four
beasts
fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, {saying},
Amen;
Alleluia.
saying <REV19 -5> And a voice came out of the throne, {saying},
Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both
small and great.
saying <REV19 -6> And I heard as it were the voice of a great
multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of
mighty thunderings, {saying}, Alleluia: for the Lord God
omnipotent
reigneth.
saying <REV19 -17> And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he
cried with a loud voice, {saying} to all the fowls that fly in
the
midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the
supper
of the great God;
saying <REV21 -3> And I heard a great voice out of heaven
{saying},
Behold, the tabernacle of God is] with men, and he will dwell
with
them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with
them, and be] their God.
saying <REV21 -9> And there came unto me one of the seven angels
which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and
talked
with me, {saying}, Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the
Lamb's wife.
