now <GEN2 -23> And Adam said, This [is] {now} bone of my bones,
and
flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was
taken
out of Man.
now <GEN3 -1> {Now} the serpent was more subtle than any beast of
the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the
woman,
Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
now <GEN3 -22> And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become
as
one of us, to know good and evil: and {now}, lest he put forth
his
hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for
ever:
now <GEN4 -11> And {now} [art] thou cursed from the earth, which
hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy
hand;
now <GEN10 -1> {Now} these [are] the generations of the sons of
Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after
the
flood.
now <GEN11 -6> And the LORD said, Behold, the people [is] one,
and
they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and {now}
nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to
do.
now <GEN11 -27> {Now} these [are] the generations of Terah: Terah
begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran begat Lot.
now <GEN12 -1> {Now} the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out
of
thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house,
unto
a land that I will show thee:
now <GEN12 -11> And it came to pass, when he was come near to
enter
into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold {now}, I
know
that thou [art] a fair woman to look upon:
now <GEN12 -19> Why saidst thou, She [is] my sister? so I might
have
taken her to me to wife: {now} therefore behold thy wife, take
[her], and go thy way.
now <GEN13 -14> And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was
separated from him, Lift up {now} thine eyes, and look from the
place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and
westward:
now <GEN15 -5> And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look
{now}
toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number
them:
and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
now <GEN16 -1> {Now} Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and
she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name [was] Hagar.
now <GEN16 -2> And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold {now}, the LORD
hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid;
it
may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to
the
voice of Sarai.
now <GEN18 -3> And said, My Lord, if {now} I have found favour in
thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:
now <GEN18 -11> {Now} Abraham and Sarah [were] old [and] well
stricken in age; [and] it ceased to be with Sarah after the
manner
of women.
now <GEN18 -21> I will go down {now}, and see whether they have
done
altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me;
and if
not, I will know.
now <GEN18 -27> And Abraham answered and said, Behold {now}, I
have
taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which [am but] dust and
ashes:
now <GEN18 -31> And he said, Behold {now}, I have taken upon me
to
speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found
there.
And he said, I will not destroy [it] for twenty's sake.
now <GEN19 -2> And he said, Behold {now}, my lords, turn in, I
pray
you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash
your
feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they
said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.
now <GEN19 -8> Behold {now}, I have two daughters which have not
known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do
ye to
them as [is] good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing;
for
therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.
now <GEN19 -9> And they said, Stand back. And they said [again],
This one [fellow] came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a
judge:
{now} will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they
pressed
sore upon the man, [even] Lot, and came near to break
the door.
now <GEN19 -19> Behold {now}, thy servant hath found grace in thy
sight, and thou hast magnified thy mercy, which thou hast showed
unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain,
lest
some evil take me, and I die:
now <GEN19 -20> Behold {now}, this city [is] near to flee unto,
and
it [is] a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, ([is] it not a
little one?) and my soul shall live.
now <GEN20 -7> {Now} therefore restore the man [his] wife; for he
[is] a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live:
and
if thou restore [her] not, know thou that thou shalt surely die,
thou, and all that [are] thine.
now <GEN21 -23> {Now} therefore swear unto me here by God that
thou
wilt not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son's
son: [but] according to the kindness that I have done unto thee,
thou shalt do unto me, and to the land wherein thou hast
sojourned.
now <GEN22 -2> And he said, Take {now} thy son, thine only [son]
Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah;
and
offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains
which
I will tell thee of.
now <GEN22 -12> And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad,
neither do thou any thing unto him: for {now} I know that thou
fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only
[son]
from me.
now <GEN24 -42> And I came this day unto the well, and said, O
LORD
God of my master Abraham, if {now} thou do prosper my way which I
go:
now <GEN24 -49> And {now} if ye will deal kindly and truly with
my
master, tell me: and if not, tell me; that I may turn to the
right
hand, or to the left.
now <GEN25 -12> {Now} these [are] the generations of Ishmael,
Abraham's son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid, bare
unto
Abraham:
now <GEN26 -22> And he removed from thence, and digged another
well;
and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it
Rehoboth;
and he said, For {now} the LORD hath made room for us, and we
shall
be fruitful in the land.
now <GEN26 -28> And they said, We saw certainly that the LORD was
with thee: and we said, Let there be {now} an oath betwixt us,
[even] betwixt us and thee, and let us make a covenant with thee;
now <GEN26 -29> That thou wilt do us no hurt, as we have not
touched
thee, and as we have done unto thee nothing but good, and have
sent
thee away in peace: thou [art] {now} the blessed of the LORD.
now <GEN27 -2> And he said, Behold {now}, I am old, I know not
the
day of my death:
now <GEN27 -3> {Now} therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons,
thy
quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me [some]
venison;
now <GEN27 -8> {Now} therefore, my son, obey my voice according
to
that which I command thee.
now <GEN27 -9> Go {now} to the flock, and fetch me from thence
two
good kids of the goats; and I will make them savoury meat for thy
father, such as he loveth:
now <GEN27 -26> And his father Isaac said unto him, Come near
{now},
and kiss me, my son.
now <GEN27 -36> And he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for
he
hath supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright;
and,
behold, {now} he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast
thou
not reserved a blessing for me?
now <GEN27 -37> And Isaac answered and said unto Esau, Behold, I
have made him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him
for
servants; and with corn and wine have I sustained him: and what
shall I do {now} unto thee, my son?
now <GEN27 -43> {Now} therefore, my son, obey my voice; and
arise,
flee thou to Laban my brother to Haran;
now <GEN29 -32> And Leah conceived, and bare a son, and she
called
his name Reuben: for she said, Surely the LORD hath looked upon
my
affliction; {now} therefore my husband will love me.
now <GEN29 -34> And she conceived again, and bare a son; and
said,
{Now} this time will my husband be joined unto me, because I have
born him three sons: therefore was his name called Levi.
now <GEN29 -35> And she conceived again, and bare a son: and she
said, {Now} will I praise the LORD: therefore she called his name
Judah; and left bearing.
now <GEN30 -20> And Leah said, God hath endued me [with] a good
dowry; {now} will my husband dwell with me, because I have born
him
six sons: and she called his name Zebulun.
now <GEN30 -30> For [it was] little which thou hadst before I
[came], and it is [now] increased unto a multitude; and the LORD
hath blessed thee since my coming: and {now} when shall I provide
for mine own house also?
now <GEN30 -30> For [it was] little which thou hadst before I
[came], and it is [{now}] increased unto a multitude; and the
LORD
hath blessed thee since my coming: and now when shall I provide
for
mine own house also?
now <GEN31 -12> And he said, Lift up {now} thine eyes, and see,
all
the rams which leap upon the cattle [are] ringstreaked, speckled,
and grisled: for I have seen all that Laban doeth unto thee.
now <GEN31 -13> I [am] the God of Bethel, where thou anointedst
the
pillar, [and] where thou vowedst a vow unto me: {now} arise, get
thee out from this land, and return unto the land of thy kindred.
now <GEN31 -16> For all the riches which God hath taken from our
father, that [is] ours, and our children's: {now} then,
whatsoever
God hath said unto thee, do.
now <GEN31 -25> Then Laban overtook Jacob. {Now} Jacob had
pitched
his tent in the mount: and Laban with his brethren pitched in the
mount of Gilead.
now <GEN31 -28> And hast not suffered me to kiss my sons and my
daughters? thou hast {now} done foolishly in [so] doing.
now <GEN31 -30> And {now}, [though] thou wouldest needs be gone,
because thou sore longedst after thy father's house, [yet]
wherefore
hast thou stolen my gods?
now <GEN31 -34> {Now} Rachel had taken the images, and put them
in
the camel's furniture, and sat upon them. And Laban searched all
the
tent, but found [them] not.
now <GEN31 -42> Except the God of my father, the God of Abraham,
and
the fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely thou hadst sent me
away
{now} empty. God hath seen mine affliction and the labour of my
hands, and rebuked [thee] yesternight.
now <GEN31 -44> {Now} therefore come thou, let us make a
covenant, I
and thou; and let it be for a witness between me and thee.
now <GEN32 -4> And he commanded them, saying, Thus shall ye speak
unto my lord Esau; Thy servant Jacob saith thus, I have sojourned
with Laban, and stayed there until {now}:
now <GEN32 -10> I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies,
and
of all the truth, which thou hast showed unto thy servant; for
with
my staff I passed over this Jordan; and {now} I am become two
bands.
now <GEN33 -10> And Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, if {now} I have
found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for
therefore I have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of
God, and thou wast pleased with me.
now <GEN33 -15> And Esau said, Let me {now} leave with thee
[some]
of the folk that [are] with me. And he said, What needeth it?
let me
find grace in the sight of my lord.
now <GEN34 -5> And Jacob heard that he had defiled Dinah his
daughter: {now} his sons were with his cattle in the field: and
Jacob held his peace until they were come.
now <GEN35 -22> And it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that
land,
that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father's concubine: and
Israel heard [it]. {Now} the sons of Jacob were twelve:
now <GEN36 -1> {Now} these [are] the generations of Esau, who
[is]
Edom.
now <GEN37 -3> {Now} Israel loved Joseph more than all his
children,
because he [was] the son of his old age: and he made him a coat
of
[many] colours.
now <GEN37 -20> Come {now} therefore, and let us slay him, and
cast
him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured
him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.
now <GEN37 -32> And they sent the coat of [many] colours, and
they
brought [it] to their father; and said, This have we found: know
{now} whether it [be] thy son's coat or no.
now <GEN41 -33> {Now} therefore let Pharaoh look out a man
discreet
and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt.
now <GEN42 -1> {Now} when Jacob saw that there was corn in Egypt,
Jacob said unto his sons, Why do ye look one upon another?
now <GEN43 -10> For except we had lingered, surely {now} we had
returned this second time.
now <GEN43 -11> And their father Israel said unto them, If [it
must
be] so {now}, do this; take of the best fruits in the land in
your
vessels, and carry down the man a present, a little balm, and a
little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts, and almonds:
now <GEN44 -10> And he said, {Now} also [let] it [be] according
unto
your words: he with whom it is found shall be my servant; and ye
shall be blameless.
now <GEN44 -30> {Now} therefore when I come to thy servant my
father, and the lad [be] not with us; seeing that his life is
bound
up in the lad's life;
now <GEN44 -33> {Now} therefore, I pray thee, let thy servant
abide
instead of the lad a bondman to my lord; and let the lad go up
with
his brethren.
now <GEN45 -5> {Now} therefore be not grieved, nor angry with
yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before
you
to preserve life.
now <GEN45 -8> So {now} [it was] not you [that] sent me hither,
but
God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his
house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.
now <GEN45 -19> {Now} thou art commanded, this do ye; take you
wagons out of the land of Egypt for your little ones, and for
your
wives, and bring your father, and come.
now <GEN46 -30> And Israel said unto Joseph, {Now} let me die,
since
I have seen thy face, because thou [art] yet alive.
now <GEN46 -34> That ye shall say, Thy servants' trade hath been
about cattle from our youth even until {now}, both we, [and] also
our fathers: that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every
shepherd [is] an abomination unto the Egyptians.
now <GEN47 -4> They said moreover unto Pharaoh, For to sojourn in
the land are we come; for thy servants have no pasture for their
flocks; for the famine [is] sore in the land of Canaan: {now}
therefore, we pray thee, let thy servants dwell in the land of
Goshen.
now <GEN47 -29> And the time drew nigh that Israel must die: and
he
called his son Joseph, and said unto him, If {now} I have found
grace in thy sight, put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh,
and
deal kindly and truly with me; bury me not, I pray thee,
in Egypt:
now <GEN48 -5> And {now} thy two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh,
which
were born unto thee in the land of Egypt before I came unto thee
into Egypt, [are] mine; as Reuben and Simeon, they shall be mine.
now <GEN48 -10> {Now} the eyes of Israel were dim for age, [so
that]
he could not see. And he brought them near unto him; and he
kissed
them, and embraced them.
now <GEN50 -4> And when the days of his mourning were past,
Joseph
spake unto the house of Pharaoh, saying, If {now} I have found
grace
in your eyes, speak, I pray you, in the ears of Pharaoh, saying,
now <GEN50 -5> My father made me swear, saying, Lo, I die: in my
grave which I have digged for me in the land of Canaan, there
shalt
thou bury me. {Now} therefore let me go up, I pray thee, and
bury my
father, and I will come again.
now <GEN50 -17> So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee
now, the trespass of thy brethren, and their sin; for they did
unto
thee evil: and {now}, we pray thee, forgive the trespass of the
servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when t
hey spake unto him.
now <GEN50 -17> So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee
{now}, the trespass of thy brethren, and their sin; for they did
unto thee evil: and now, we pray thee, forgive the trespass of
the
servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when t
hey spake unto him.
now <GEN50 -21> {Now} therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you,
and
your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto
them.
now <EXO1 -1> {Now} these [are] the names of the children of
Israel,
which came into Egypt; every man and his household came with
Jacob.
now <EXO1 -8> {Now} there arose up a new king over Egypt, which
knew
not Joseph.
now <EXO2 -15> {Now} when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to
slay Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in
the land of Midian: and he sat down by a well.
now <EXO2 -16> {Now} the priest of Midian had seven daughters:
and
they came and drew [water], and filled the troughs to water their
father's flock.
now <EXO3 -1> {Now} Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in
law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside
of
the desert, and came to the mountain of God, [even] to Horeb.
now <EXO3 -3> And Moses said, I will {now} turn aside, and see
this
great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
now <EXO3 -9> {Now} therefore, behold, the cry of the children of
Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression
wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.
now <EXO3 -10> Come {now} therefore, and I will send thee unto
Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of
Israel out of Egypt.
now <EXO3 -18> And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou
shalt
come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and
ye
shall say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met with us:
and {now} let us go, we beseech thee, three days' jour
ney into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our
God.
now <EXO4 -6> And the LORD said furthermore unto him, Put {now}
thine hand into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom:
and
when he took it out, behold, his hand [was] leprous as snow.
now <EXO4 -12> {Now} therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth,
and
teach thee what thou shalt say.
now <EXO5 -5> And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land
{now}
[are] many, and ye make them rest from their burdens.
now <EXO5 -18> Go therefore {now}, [and] work; for there shall no
straw be given you, yet shall ye deliver the tale of bricks.
now <EXO6 -1> Then the LORD said unto Moses, {Now} shalt thou see
what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let
them
go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.
now <EXO7 -11> Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the
sorcerers: {now} the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like
manner with their enchantments.
now <EXO9 -15> For {now} I will stretch out my hand, that I may
smite thee and thy people with pestilence; and thou shalt be cut
off
from the earth.
now <EXO9 -18> Behold, to morrow about this time I will cause it
to
rain a very grievous hail, such as hath not been in Egypt since
the
foundation thereof even until {now}.
now <EXO9 -19> Send therefore {now}, [and] gather thy cattle, and
all that thou hast in the field; [for upon] every man and beast
which shall be found in the field, and shall not be brought home,
the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die.
now <EXO10 -11> Not so: go {now} ye [that are] men, and serve the
LORD; for that ye did desire. And they were driven out from
Pharaoh's presence.
now <EXO10 -17> {Now} therefore forgive, I pray thee, my sin only
this once, and entreat the LORD your God, that he may take away
from
me this death only.
now <EXO11 -2> Speak {now} in the ears of the people, and let
every
man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour,
jewels of silver, and jewels of gold.
now <EXO12 -40> {Now} the sojourning of the children of Israel,
who
dwelt in Egypt, [was] four hundred and thirty years.
now <EXO16 -36> {Now} an omer [is] the tenth [part] of an ephah.
now <EXO18 -11> {Now} I know that the LORD [is] greater than all
gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly [he was] above
them.
now <EXO18 -19> Hearken {now} unto my voice, I will give thee
counsel, and God shall be with thee: Be thou for the people to
God-ward, that thou mayest bring the causes unto God:
now <EXO19 -5> {Now} therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed,
and
keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me
above
all people: for all the earth [is] mine:
now <EXO21 -1> {Now} these [are] the judgments which thou shalt
set
before them.
now <EXO29 -38> {Now} this [is that] which thou shalt offer upon
the
altar; two lambs of the first year day by day continually.
now <EXO32 -10> {Now} therefore let me alone, that my wrath may
wax
hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of
thee a great nation.
now <EXO32 -30> And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses
said
unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and {now} I will go
up
unto the LORD; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your
sin.
now <EXO32 -32> Yet {now}, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and
if
not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast
written.
now <EXO32 -34> Therefore {now} go, lead the people unto [the
place]
of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel shall go
before
thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin
upon them.
now <EXO33 -5> For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the
children of Israel, Ye [are] a stiffnecked people: I will come up
into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore
{now} put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to
do unto thee.
now <EXO33 -13> {Now} therefore, I pray thee, if I have found
grace
in thy sight, show me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I
may
find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation [is] thy
people.
now <EXO33 -13> Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found
grace in
thy sight, show me {now} thy way, that I may know thee, that I
may
find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation [is] thy
people.
now <EXO34 -9> And he said, If {now} I have found grace in thy
sight, O Lord, let my Lord, I pray thee, go among us; for it
[is] a
stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and
take us
for thine inheritance.
now <NUM11 -6> But {now} our soul [is] dried away: [there is]
nothing at all, beside this manna, [before] our eyes.
now <NUM11 -23> And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD'S hand
waxed short? thou shalt see {now} whether my word shall come to
pass
unto thee or not.
now <NUM12 -3> {Now} the man Moses [was] very meek, above all the
men which [were] upon the face of the earth.)
now <NUM12 -6> And he said, Hear {now} my words: If there be a
prophet among you, [I] the LORD will make myself known unto him
in a
vision, [and] will speak unto him in a dream.
now <NUM12 -13> And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, Heal her
{now}, O God, I beseech thee.
now <NUM13 -20> And what the land [is], whether it [be] fat or
lean,
whether there be wood therein, or not. And be ye of good courage,
and bring of the fruit of the land. {Now} the time [was] the
time of
the firstripe grapes.
now <NUM13 -22> And they ascended by the south, and came unto
Hebron; where Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak,
[were]. ({Now} Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.
)
now <NUM14 -15> {Now} [if] thou shalt kill [all] this people as
one
man, then the nations which have heard the fame of thee will
speak,
saying,
now <NUM14 -17> And {now}, I beseech thee, let the power of my
LORD
be great, according as thou hast spoken, saying,
now <NUM14 -19> Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this
people
according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast
forgiven
this people, from Egypt even until {now}.
now <NUM14 -22> Because all those men which have seen my glory,
and
my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have
tempted me {now} these ten times, and have not hearkened to my
voice;
now <NUM14 -25> {Now} the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwelt in
the
valley.) To morrow turn you, and get you into the wilderness by
the
way of the Red sea.
now <NUM14 -41> And Moses said, Wherefore {now} do ye transgress
the
commandment of the LORD? but it shall not prosper.
now <NUM16 -1> {Now} Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath,
the
son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On,
the
son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took [men]:
now <NUM16 -49> {Now} they that died in the plague were fourteen
thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the
matter
of Korah.
now <NUM20 -10> And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation
together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear {now}, ye
rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock?
now <NUM22 -4> And Moab said unto the elders of Midian, {Now}
shall
this company lick up all [that are] round about us, as the ox
licketh up the grass of the field. And Balak the son of Zippor
[was]
king of the Moabites at that time.
now <NUM22 -6> Come {now} therefore, I pray thee, curse me this
people; for they [are] too mighty for me: peradventure I shall
prevail, [that] we may smite them, and [that] I may drive them
out
of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest [is] blesse
d, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.
now <NUM22 -11> Behold, [there is] a people come out of Egypt,
which
covereth the face of the earth: come {now}, curse me them;
peradventure I shall be able to overcome them, and drive them
out.
now <NUM22 -19> {Now} therefore, I pray you, tarry ye also here
this
night, that I may know what the LORD will say unto me more.
now <NUM22 -22> And God's anger was kindled because he went: and
the
angel of the LORD stood in the way for an adversary against him.
{Now} he was riding upon his ass, and his two servants [were]
with
him.
now <NUM22 -29> And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast
mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for {now}
would
I kill thee.
now <NUM22 -33> And the ass saw me, and turned from me these
three
times: unless she had turned from me, surely {now} also I had
slain
thee, and saved her alive.
now <NUM22 -34> And Balaam said unto the angel of the LORD, I
have
sinned; for I knew not that thou stoodest in the way against me:
{now} therefore, if it displease thee, I will get me back again.
now <NUM22 -38> And Balaam said unto Balak, Lo, I am come unto
thee:
have I {now} any power at all to say any thing? the word that God
putteth in my mouth, that shall I speak.
now <NUM24 -11> Therefore {now} flee thou to thy place: I
thought to
promote thee unto great honour; but, lo, the LORD hath kept thee
back from honour.
now <NUM24 -14> And {now}, behold, I go unto my people: come
[therefore, and] I will advertise thee what this people shall do
to
thy people in the latter days.
now <NUM24 -17> I shall see him, but not {now}: I shall behold
him,
but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre
shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab,
and
destroy all the children of Sheth.
now <NUM25 -14> {Now} the name of the Israelite that was slain,
[even] that was slain with the Midianitish woman, [was] Zimri,
the
son of Salu, a prince of a chief house among the Simeonites.
now <NUM31 -17> {Now} therefore kill every male among the little
ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.
now <NUM31 -43> {Now} the half [that pertained unto] the
congregation was three hundred thousand and thirty thousand [and]
seven thousand and five hundred sheep,
now <NUM32 -1> {Now} the children of Reuben and the children of
Gad
had a very great multitude of cattle: and when they saw the land
of
Jazer, and the land of Gilead, that, behold, the place [was] a
place
for cattle;
now <DEU2 -13> {Now} rise up, [said I], and get you over the
brook
Zered. And we went over the brook Zered.
now <DEU4 -1> {Now} therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the
statutes
and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do [them],
that ye
may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of
your
fathers giveth you.
now <DEU4 -32> For ask {now} of the days that are past, which
were
before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth,
and
[ask] from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there
hath
been [any such thing] as this great thing [is], or
hath been heard like it?
now <DEU5 -25> {Now} therefore why should we die? for this great
fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the LORD our God
any
more, then we shall die.
now <DEU6 -1> {Now} these [are] the commandments, the statutes,
and
the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you,
that
ye might do [them] in the land whither ye go to possess it:
now <DEU10 -12> And {now}, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God
require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his
ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy
heart and with all thy soul,
now <DEU10 -22> Thy fathers went down into Egypt with threescore
and
ten persons; and {now} the LORD thy God hath made thee as the
stars
of heaven for multitude.
now <DEU26 -10> And {now}, behold, I have brought the
firstfruits of
the land, which thou, O LORD, hast given me. And thou shalt set
it
before the LORD thy God, and worship before the LORD thy God:
now <DEU31 -19> {Now} therefore write ye this song for you, and
teach it the children of Israel: put it in their mouths, that
this
song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel.
now <DEU31 -21> And it shall come to pass, when many evils and
troubles are befallen them, that this song shall testify against
them as a witness; for it shall not be forgotten out of the
mouths
of their seed: for I know their imagination which they go ab
out, even {now}, before I have brought them into the land which I
sware.
now <DEU32 -39> See {now} that I, [even] I, [am] he, and [there
is]
no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal:
neither [is there any] that can deliver out of my hand.
now <JOS1 -1> {Now} after the death of Moses the servant of the
LORD
it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun,
Moses' minister, saying,
now <JOS1 -2> Moses my servant is dead; {now} therefore arise, go
over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which
I
do give to them, [even] to the children of Israel.
now <JOS2 -12> {Now} therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the
LORD, since I have showed you kindness, that ye will also show
kindness unto my father's house, and give me a true token:
now <JOS3 -12> {Now} therefore take you twelve men out of the
tribes
of Israel, out of every tribe a man.
now <JOS5 -5> {Now} all the people that came out were
circumcised:
but all the people [that were] born in the wilderness by the way
as
they came forth out of Egypt, [them] they had not circumcised.
now <JOS5 -14> And he said, Nay; but [as] captain of the host of
the
LORD am I {now} come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth,
and
did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his
servant?
now <JOS6 -1> {Now} Jericho was straitly shut up because of the
children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.
now <JOS7 -19> And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray
thee, glory to the LORD God of Israel, and make confession unto
him;
and tell me {now} what thou hast done; hide [it] not from me.
now <JOS8 -11> And all the people, [even the people] of war that
[were] with him, went up, and drew nigh, and came before the
city,
and pitched on the north side of Ai: {now} [there was] a valley
between them and Ai.
now <JOS9 -6> And they went to Joshua unto the camp at Gilgal,
and
said unto him, and to the men of Israel, We be come from a far
country: {now} therefore make ye a league with us.
now <JOS9 -11> Wherefore our elders and all the inhabitants of
our
country spake to us, saying, Take victuals with you for the
journey,
and go to meet them, and say unto them, We [are] your servants:
therefore {now} make ye a league with us.
now <JOS9 -12> This our bread we took hot [for] our provision
out of
our houses on the day we came forth to go unto you; but {now},
behold, it is dry, and it is mouldy:
now <JOS9 -17> And the children of Israel journeyed, and came
unto
their cities on the third day. {Now} their cities [were] Gibeon,
and
Chephirah, and Beeroth, and Kirjathjearim.
now <JOS9 -19> But all the princes said unto all the
congregation,
We have sworn unto them by the LORD God of Israel: {now}
therefore
we may not touch them.
now <JOS9 -23> {Now} therefore ye [are] cursed, and there shall
none
of you be freed from being bondmen, and hewers of wood and
drawers
of water for the house of my God.
now <JOS9 -25> And {now}, behold, we [are] in thine hand: as it
seemeth good and right unto thee to do unto us, do.
now <JOS10 -1> {Now} it came to pass, when Adonizedek king of
Jerusalem had heard how Joshua had taken Ai, and had utterly
destroyed it; as he had done to Jericho and her king, so he had
done
to Ai and her king; and how the inhabitants of Gibeon had made
peace with Israel, and were among them;
now <JOS12 -1> {Now} these [are] the kings of the land, which the
children of Israel smote, and possessed their land on the other
side
Jordan toward the rising of the sun, from the river Arnon unto
mount
Hermon, and all the plain on the east:
now <JOS13 -1> {Now} Joshua was old [and] stricken in years; and
the
LORD said unto him, Thou art old [and] stricken in years, and
there
remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.
now <JOS13 -7> {Now} therefore divide this land for an
inheritance
unto the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Manasseh,
now <JOS14 -10> And now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as
he
said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake this
word unto Moses, while [the children of] Israel wandered in the
wilderness: and {now}, lo, I [am] this day fourscore and f
ive years old.
now <JOS14 -10> And {now}, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive,
as
he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake
this
word unto Moses, while [the children of] Israel wandered in the
wilderness: and now, lo, I [am] this day fourscore and f
ive years old.
now <JOS14 -11> As yet I [am as] strong this day as [I was] in
the
day that Moses sent me: as my strength [was] then, even so [is]
my
strength {now}, for war, both to go out, and to come in.
now <JOS14 -12> {Now} therefore give me this mountain, whereof
the
LORD spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the
Anakims [were] there, and [that] the cities [were] great [and]
fenced: if so be the LORD [will be] with me, then I shall be ab
le to drive them out, as the LORD said.
now <JOS17 -8> {Now}] Manasseh had the land of Tappuah: but
Tappuah
on the border of Manasseh [belonged] to the children of Ephraim;
now <JOS18 -21> {Now} the cities of the tribe of the children of
Benjamin according to their families were Jericho, and
Bethhoglah,
and the valley of Keziz.
now <JOS22 -4> And now the LORD your God hath given rest unto
your
brethren, as he promised them: therefore {now} return ye, and get
you unto your tents, [and] unto the land of your possession,
which
Moses the servant of the LORD gave you on the other sid
e Jordan.
now <JOS22 -4> And {now} the LORD your God hath given rest unto
your
brethren, as he promised them: therefore now return ye, and get
you
unto your tents, [and] unto the land of your possession, which
Moses
the servant of the LORD gave you on the other sid
e Jordan.
now <JOS22 -7> {Now} to the [one] half of the tribe of Manasseh
Moses had given [possession] in Bashan: but unto the [other] half
thereof gave Joshua among their brethren on this side Jordan
westward. And when Joshua sent them away also unto their tents,
then he blessed them,
now <JOS22 -26> Therefore we said, Let us {now} prepare to build
us
an altar, not for burnt offering, nor for sacrifice:
now <JOS22 -31> And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest said
unto
the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the
children of Manasseh, This day we perceive that the LORD [is]
among
us, because ye have not committed this trespass against
the LORD: {now} ye have delivered the children of Israel out of
the
hand of the LORD.
now <JOS24 -14> {Now} therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in
sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers
served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye
the LORD.
now <JOS24 -23> {Now} therefore put away, [said he], the strange
gods which [are] among you, and incline your heart unto the LORD
God
of Israel.
now <JUG1 -1> {Now} after the death of Joshua it came to pass,
that
the children of Israel asked the LORD, saying, Who shall go up
for
us against the Canaanites first, to fight against them?
now <JUG1 -8> {Now} the children of Judah had fought against
Jerusalem, and had taken it, and smitten it with the edge of the
sword, and set the city on fire.
now <JUG1 -10> And Judah went against the Canaanites that dwelt
in
Hebron: ({now} the name of Hebron before [was] Kirjatharba:) and
they slew Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai.
now <JUG1 -23> And the house of Joseph sent to descry Bethel.
({Now}
the name of the city before [was] Luz.)
now <JUG3 -1> {Now} these [are] the nations which the LORD left,
to
prove Israel by them, [even] as many [of Israel] as had not known
all the wars of Canaan;
now <JUG4 -11> {Now} Heber the Kenite, [which was] of the
children
of Hobab the father in law of Moses, had severed himself from the
Kenites, and pitched his tent unto the plain of Zaanaim, which
[is]
by Kedesh.
now <JUG6 -13> And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD
be
with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where [be] all his
miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD
bring us up from Egypt? but {now} the LORD hath forsaken
us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.
now <JUG6 -17> And he said unto him, If {now} I have found grace
in
thy sight, then show me a sign that thou talkest with me.
now <JUG6 -39> And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be
hot
against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray
thee, but this once with the fleece; let it {now} be dry only
upon
the fleece, and upon all the ground let there be dew.
now <JUG7 -3> {Now} therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the
people, saying, Whosoever [is] fearful and afraid, let him return
and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the
people
twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousan
d.
now <JUG8 -2> And he said unto them, What have I done {now} in
comparison of you? [Is] not the gleaning of the grapes of Ephraim
better than the vintage of Abiezer?
now <JUG8 -6> And the princes of Succoth said, [Are] the hands of
Zebah and Zalmunna {now} in thine hand, that we should give bread
unto thine army?
now <JUG8 -10> {Now} Zebah and Zalmunna [were] in Karkor, and
their
hosts with them, about fifteen thousand [men], all that were
left of
all the hosts of the children of the east: for there fell an
hundred
and twenty thousand men that drew sword.
now <JUG8 -15> And he came unto the men of Succoth, and said,
Behold
Zebah and Zalmunna with whom ye did upbraid me, saying, [Are] the
hands of Zebah and Zalmunna {now} in thine hand, that we should
give
bread unto thy men [that are] weary?
now <JUG9 -16> {Now} therefore, if ye have done truly and
sincerely,
in that ye have made Abimelech king, and if ye have dealt well
with
Jerubbaal and his house, and have done unto him according to the
deserving of his hands;
now <JUG9 -32> {Now} therefore up by night, thou and the people
that
[is] with thee, and lie in wait in the field:
now <JUG9 -38> Then said Zebul unto him, Where [is] {now} thy
mouth,
wherewith thou saidst, Who [is] Abimelech, that we should serve
him?
[is] not this the people that thou hast despised? go out, I pray
now, and fight with them.
now <JUG9 -38> Then said Zebul unto him, Where [is] now thy
mouth,
wherewith thou saidst, Who [is] Abimelech, that we should serve
him?
[is] not this the people that thou hast despised? go out, I pray
{now}, and fight with them.
now <JUG11 -1> {Now} Jephthah the Gileadite was a mighty man of
valour, and he [was] the son of an harlot: and Gilead begat
Jephthah.
now <JUG11 -7> And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, Did
not
ye hate me, and expel me out of my father's house? and why are ye
come unto me {now} when ye are in distress?
now <JUG11 -8> And the elders of Gilead said unto Jephthah,
Therefore we turn again to thee {now}, that thou mayest go with
us,
and fight against the children of Ammon, and be our head over all
the inhabitants of Gilead.
now <JUG11 -13> And the king of the children of Ammon answered
unto
the messengers of Jephthah, Because Israel took away my land,
when
they came up out of Egypt, from Arnon even unto Jabbok, and unto
Jordan: {now} therefore restore those [lands] again pea
ceably.
now <JUG11 -23> So {now} the LORD God of Israel hath dispossessed
the Amorites from before his people Israel, and shouldest thou
possess it?
now <JUG11 -25> And {now} [art] thou any thing better than Balak
the
son of Zippor, king of Moab? did he ever strive against Israel,
or
did he ever fight against them,
now <JUG12 -6> Then said they unto him, Say {now} Shibboleth:
and he
said Sibboleth: for he could not frame to pronounce [it] right.
Then
they took him, and slew him at the passages of Jordan: and there
fell at that time of the Ephraimites forty and two t
housand.
now <JUG13 -3> And the angel of the LORD appeared unto the woman,
and said unto her, Behold {now}, thou [art] barren, and bearest
not:
but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son.
now <JUG13 -4> {Now} therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not
wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean [thing]:
now <JUG13 -7> But he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive,
and
bear a son; and {now} drink no wine nor strong drink, neither eat
any unclean [thing]: for the child shall be a Nazarite to God
from
the womb to the day of his death.
now <JUG13 -12> And Manoah said, {Now} let thy words come to
pass.
How shall we order the child, and [how] shall we do unto him?
now <JUG14 -2> And he came up, and told his father and his
mother,
and said, I have seen a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the
Philistines: {now} therefore get her for me to wife.
now <JUG14 -12> And Samson said unto them, I will {now} put
forth a
riddle unto you: if ye can certainly declare it me within the
seven
days of the feast, and find [it] out, then I will give you thirty
sheets and thirty change of garments:
now <JUG15 -3> And Samson said concerning them, {Now} shall I be
more blameless than the Philistines, though I do them a
displeasure.
now <JUG15 -18> And he was sore athirst, and called on the LORD,
and
said, Thou hast given this great deliverance into the hand of thy
servant: and {now} shall I die for thirst, and fall into the
hand of
the uncircumcised?
now <JUG16 -9> {Now} [there were] men lying in wait, abiding with
her in the chamber. And she said unto him, The Philistines [be]
upon
thee, Samson. And he brake the withs, as a thread of tow is
broken
when it toucheth the fire. So his strength was not kn
own.
now <JUG16 -10> And Delilah said unto Samson, Behold, thou hast
mocked me, and told me lies: {now} tell me, I pray thee,
wherewith
thou mightest be bound.
now <JUG16 -27> {Now} the house was full of men and women; and
all
the lords of the Philistines [were] there; and [there were] upon
the
roof about three thousand men and women, that beheld while Samson
made sport.
now <JUG17 -3> And when he had restored the eleven hundred
[shekels]
of silver to his mother, his mother said, I had wholly dedicated
the
silver unto the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a graven
image
and a molten image: {now} therefore I will resto
re it unto thee.
now <JUG17 -13> Then said Micah, {Now} know I that the LORD will
do
me good, seeing I have a Levite to [my] priest.
now <JUG18 -14> Then answered the five men that went to spy out
the
country of Laish, and said unto their brethren, Do ye know that
there is in these houses an ephod, and teraphim, and a graven
image,
and a molten image? {now} therefore consider what ye h
ave to do.
now <JUG19 -9> And when the man rose up to depart, he, and his
concubine, and his servant, his father in law, the damsel's
father,
said unto him, Behold, {now} the day draweth toward evening, I
pray
you tarry all night: behold, the day groweth to an end,
lodge here, that thine heart may be merry; and to morrow get you
early on your way, that thou mayest go home.
now <JUG19 -18> And he said unto him, We [are] passing from
Bethlehemjudah toward the side of mount Ephraim; from thence
[am] I:
and I went to Bethlehemjudah, but I [am {now}] going to the
house of
the LORD; and there [is] no man that receiveth me to hous
e.
now <JUG19 -22> [{Now}] as they were making their hearts merry,
behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the
house
round about, [and] beat at the door, and spake to the master of
the
house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that c
ame into thine house, that we may knowhim.
now <JUG19 -24> Behold, [here is] my daughter a maiden, and his
concubine; them I will bring out {now}, and humble ye them, and
do
with them what seemeth good unto you: but unto this man do not so
vile a thing.
now <JUG20 -3> ({Now} the children of Benjamin heard that the
children of Israel were gone up to Mizpeh.) Then said the
children
of Israel, Tell [us], how was thiswickedness?
now <JUG20 -9> But {now} this [shall be] the thing which we will
do
to Gibeah; [we will go up] by lot against it;
now <JUG20 -13> {Now} therefore deliver [us] the men, the
children
of Belial, which [are] in Gibeah, that we may put them to death,
and
put away evil from Israel. But the children of Benjamin would not
hearken to the voice of their brethren the children o
f Israel:
now <JUG20 -38> {Now} there was an appointed sign between the
men of
Israel and the liers in wait, that they should make a great flame
with smoke rise up out of the city.
now <JUG21 -1> {Now} the men of Israel had sworn in Mizpeh,
saying,
There shall not any of us give his daughter unto Benjamin to
wife.
now <RUT1 -1> {Now} it came to pass in the days when the judges
ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of
Bethlehemjudah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and
his
wife, and his two sons.
now <RUT2 -2> And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me
{now}
go to the field, and glean ears of corn after [him] in whose
sight I
shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.
now <RUT2 -7> And she said, I pray you, let me glean and gather
after the reapers among the sheaves: so she came, and hath
continued
even from the morning until {now}, that she tarried a little in
the
house.
now <RUT3 -2> And {now} [is] not Boaz of our kindred, with whose
maidens thou wast? Behold, he winnoweth barley to night in the
threshingfloor.
now <RUT3 -11> And {now}, my daughter, fear not; I will do to
thee
all that thou requirest: for all the city of my people doth know
that thou [art] a virtuous woman.
now <RUT3 -12> And {now} it is true that I [am thy] near kinsman:
howbeit there is a kinsman nearer than I.
now <RUT4 -7> {Now} this [was the manner] in former time in
Israel
concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all
things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave [it] to his
neighbour:
and this [was] a testimony in Israel.
now <RUT4 -18> {Now} these [are] the generations of Pharez:
Pharez
begat Hezron,
now <1SA1 -1> {Now} there was a certain man of Ramathaimzophim,
of
mount Ephraim, and his name [was] Elkanah, the son of Jeroham,
the
son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite:
now <1SA1 -9> So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh,
and
after they had drunk. {Now} Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a
post
of the temple of the LORD.
now <1SA1 -13> {Now} Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her
lips
moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had
been drunken.
now <1SA2 -12> {Now} the sons of Eli [were] sons of Belial; they
knew not the LORD.
now <1SA2 -16> And [if] any man said unto him, Let them not fail
to
burn the fat presently, and [then] take [as much] as thy soul
desireth; then he would answer him, [Nay]; but thou shalt give
[it
me] {now}: and if not, I will take [it] by force.
now <1SA2 -22> {Now} Eli was very old, and heard all that his
sons
did unto all Israel; and how they lay with the women that
assembled
[at] the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
now <1SA2 -30> Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said
indeed
[that] thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk
before me
for ever: but {now} the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them
that
honour me I will honour, and they that despise m
e shall be lightly esteemed.
now <1SA3 -7> {Now} Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was
the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him.
now <1SA4 -1> And the word of Samuel came to all Israel. {Now}
Israel went out against the Philistines to battle, and pitched
beside Ebenezer: and the Philistines pitched in Aphek.
now <1SA4 -15> {Now} Eli was ninety and eight years old; and his
eyes were dim, that he could not see.
now <1SA6 -7> {Now} therefore make a new cart, and take two milch
kine, on which there hath come no yoke, and tie the kine to the
cart, and bring their calves home from them:
now <1SA8 -2> {Now} the name of his firstborn was Joel; and the
name
of his second, Abiah: [they were] judges in Beersheba.
now <1SA8 -5> And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy
sons
walk not in thy ways: {now} make us a king to judge us like all
the
nations.
now <1SA8 -9> {Now} therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit
yet
protest solemnly unto them, and show them the manner of the king
that shall reign over them.
now <1SA9 -1> {Now} there was a man of Benjamin, whose name [was]
Kish, the son of Abiel, the son of Zeror, the son of Bechorath,
the
son of Aphiah, a Benjamite, a mighty man of power.
now <1SA9 -3> And the asses of Kish Saul's father were lost. And
Kish said to Saul his son, Take {now} one of the servants with
thee,
and arise, go seek the asses.
now <1SA9 -6> And he said unto him, Behold {now}, [there is] in
this
city a man of God, and [he is] an honourable man; all that he
saith
cometh surely to pass: now let us go thither; peradventure he can
show us our way that we should go.
now <1SA9 -6> And he said unto him, Behold now, [there is] in
this
city a man of God, and [he is] an honourable man; all that he
saith
cometh surely to pass: {now} let us go thither; peradventure he
can
show us our way that we should go.
now <1SA9 -9> Beforetime in Israel, when a man went to inquire of
God, thus he spake, Come, and let us go to the seer: for [he that
is] {now} [called] a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.)
now <1SA9 -12> And they answered them, and said, He is; behold,
[he
is] before you: make haste {now}, for he came to day to the city;
for [there is] a sacrifice of the people to day in the high
place:
now <1SA9 -13> As soon as ye be come into the city, ye shall
straightway find him, before he go up to the high place to eat:
for
the people will not eat until he come, because he doth bless the
sacrifice; [and] afterwards they eat that be bidden. {Now} th
erefore get you up; for about this time ye shall find him.
now <1SA9 -15> {Now} the LORD had told Samuel in his ear a day
before Saul came, saying,
now <1SA10 -19> And ye have this day rejected your God, who
himself
saved you out of all your adversities and your tribulations; and
ye
have said unto him, [Nay], but set a king over us. {Now}
therefore
present yourselves before the LORD by your tribes, a
nd by your thousands.
now <1SA12 -2> And {now}, behold, the king walketh before you:
and I
am old and grayheaded; and, behold, my sons [are] with you: and I
have walked before you from my childhood unto this day.
now <1SA12 -7> {Now} therefore stand still, that I may reason
with
you before the LORD of all the righteous acts of the LORD, which
he
did to you and to your fathers.
now <1SA12 -10> And they cried unto the LORD, and said, We have
sinned, because we have forsaken the LORD, and have served Baalim
and Ashtaroth: but {now} deliver us out of the hand of our
enemies,
and we will serve thee.
now <1SA12 -13> {Now} therefore behold the king whom ye have
chosen,
[and] whom ye have desired! and, behold, the LORD hath set a king
over you.
now <1SA12 -16> {Now} therefore stand and see this great thing,
which the LORD will do before your eyes.
now <1SA13 -12> Therefore said I, The Philistines will come down
{now} upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto
the
LORD: I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering.
now <1SA13 -13> And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done
foolishly:
thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which he
commanded thee: for {now} would the LORD have established thy
kingdom upon Israel for ever.
now <1SA13 -14> But {now} thy kingdom shall not continue: the
LORD
hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath
commanded him [to be] captain over his people, because thou hast
not
kept [that] which the LORD commanded thee.
now <1SA13 -19> {Now} there was no smith found throughout all the
land of Israel: for the Philistines said, Lest the Hebrews make
[them] swords or spears:
now <1SA14 -1> {Now} it came to pass upon a day, that Jonathan
the
son of Saul said unto the young man that bare his armour, Come,
and
let us go over to the Philistines' garrison, that [is] on the
other
side. But he told not his father.
now <1SA14 -17> Then said Saul unto the people that [were] with
him,
Number {now}, and see who is gone from us. And when they had
numbered, behold, Jonathan and his armourbearer [were] not
[there].
now <1SA14 -30> How much more, if haply the people had eaten
freely
to day of the spoil of their enemies which they found? for had
there
not been {now} a much greater slaughter among the Philistines?
now <1SA14 -49> {Now} the sons of Saul were Jonathan, and Ishui,
and
Melchishua: and the names of his two daughters [were these]; the
name of the firstborn Merab, and the name of the younger Michal:
now <1SA15 -1> Samuel also said unto Saul, The LORD sent me to
anoint thee [to be] king over his people, over Israel: {now}
therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the LORD.
now <1SA15 -3> {Now} go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all
that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman,
infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.
now <1SA15 -25> {Now} therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and
turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD.
now <1SA15 -30> Then he said, I have sinned: [yet] honour me
{now},
I pray thee, before the elders of my people, and before Israel,
and
turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD thy God.
now <1SA16 -12> And he sent, and brought him in. {Now} he [was]
ruddy, [and] withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to
look
to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this [is] he.
now <1SA16 -15> And Saul's servants said unto him, Behold {now},
an
evil spirit from God troubleth thee.
now <1SA16 -16> Let our lord {now} command thy servants, [which
are]
before thee, to seek out a man, [who is] a cunning player on an
harp: and it shall come to pass, when the evil spirit from God is
upon thee, that he shall play with his hand, and thou sh
alt be well.
now <1SA16 -17> And Saul said unto his servants, Provide me
{now} a
man that can play well, and bring [him] to me.
now <1SA17 -1> {Now} the Philistines gathered together their
armies
to battle, and were gathered together at Shochoh, which
[belongeth]
to Judah, and pitched between Shochoh and Azekah, in Ephesdammin.
now <1SA17 -12> {Now} David [was] the son of that Ephrathite of
Bethlehemjudah, whose name [was] Jesse; and he had eight sons:
and
the man went among men [for] an old man in the days of Saul.
now <1SA17 -17> And Jesse said unto David his son, Take {now} for
thy brethren an ephah of this parched [corn], and these ten
loaves,
and run to the camp to thy brethren;
now <1SA17 -19> {Now} Saul, and they, and all the men of Israel,
[were] in the valley of Elah, fighting with the Philistines.
now <1SA17 -29> And David said, What have I {now} done? [Is
there]
not a cause?
now <1SA18 -22> And Saul commanded his servants, [saying],
Commune
with David secretly, and say, Behold, the king hath delight in
thee,
and all his servants love thee: {now} therefore be the king's
son in
law.
now <1SA19 -2> But Jonathan Saul's son delighted much in David:
and
Jonathan told David, saying, Saul my father seeketh to kill thee:
{now} therefore, I pray thee, take heed to thyself until the
morning, and abide in a secret [place], and hide thyself:
now <1SA20 -29> And he said, Let me go, I pray thee; for our
family
hath a sacrifice in the city; and my brother, he hath commanded
me
[to be there]: and {now}, if I have found favour in thine eyes,
let
me get away, I pray thee, and see my brethren. There
fore he cometh not unto the king's table.
now <1SA20 -31> For as long as the son of Jesse liveth upon the
ground, thou shalt not be established, nor thy kingdom. Wherefore
{now} send and fetch him unto me, for he shall surely die.
now <1SA20 -36> And he said unto his lad, Run, find out {now} the
arrows which I shoot. [And] as the lad ran, he shot an arrow
beyond
him.
now <1SA21 -3> {Now} therefore what is under thine hand? give
[me]
five [loaves of] bread in mine hand, or what there is present.
now <1SA21 -7> {Now} a certain man of the servants of Saul [was]
there that day, detained before the LORD; and his name [was]
Doeg,
an Edomite, the chiefest of the herdmen that [belonged] to Saul.
now <1SA22 -6> When Saul heard that David was discovered, and the
men that [were] with him, ({now} Saul abode in Gibeah under a
tree
in Ramah, having his spear in his hand, and all his servants
[were]
standing about him;)
now <1SA22 -7> Then Saul said unto his servants that stood about
him, Hear {now}, ye Benjamites; will the son of Jesse give every
one
of you fields and vineyards, [and] make you all captains of
thousands, and captains of hundreds;
now <1SA22 -12> And Saul said, Hear {now}, thou son of Ahitub.
And
he answered, Here I [am], my lord.
now <1SA23 -20> {Now} therefore, O king, come down according to
all
the desire of thy soul to come down; and our part [shall be] to
deliver him into the king's hand.
now <1SA24 -20> And {now}, behold, I know well that thou shalt
surely be king, and that the kingdom of Israel shall be
established
in thine hand.
now <1SA24 -21> Swear {now} therefore unto me by the LORD, that
thou
wilt not cut off my seed after me, and that thou wilt not
destroy my
name out of my father's house.
now <1SA25 -3> {Now} the name of the man [was] Nabal; and the
name
of his wife Abigail: and [she was] a woman of good understanding,
and of a beautiful countenance: but the man [was] churlish and
evil
in his doings; and he [was] of the house of Caleb.
now <1SA25 -7> And now I have heard that thou hast shearers:
{now}
thy shepherds which were with us, we hurt them not, neither was
there ought missing unto them, all the while they were in Carmel.
now <1SA25 -7> And {now} I have heard that thou hast shearers:
now
thy shepherds which were with us, we hurt them not, neither was
there ought missing unto them, all the while they were in Carmel.
now <1SA25 -10> And Nabal answered David's servants, and said,
Who
[is] David? and who [is] the son of Jesse? there be many servants
{now} a days that break away every man from his master.
now <1SA25 -17> {Now} therefore know and consider what thou wilt
do;
for evil is determined against our master, and against all his
household: for he [is such] a son of Belial, that [a man] cannot
speak to him.
now <1SA25 -21> {Now} David had said, Surely in vain have I kept
all
that this [fellow] hath in the wilderness, so that nothing was
missed of all that [pertained] unto him: and he hath requited me
evil for good.
now <1SA25 -26> {Now} therefore, my lord, [as] the LORD liveth,
and
[as] thy soul liveth, seeing the LORD hath withholden thee from
coming to [shed] blood, and from avenging thyself with thine own
hand, now let thine enemies, and they that seek evil to my
lord, be as Nabal.
now <1SA25 -26> Now therefore, my lord, [as] the LORD liveth, and
[as] thy soul liveth, seeing the LORD hath withholden thee from
coming to [shed] blood, and from avenging thyself with thine own
hand, {now} let thine enemies, and they that seek evil to my
lord, be as Nabal.
now <1SA25 -27> And {now} this blessing which thine handmaid hath
brought unto my lord, let it even be given unto the young men
that
follow my lord.
now <1SA26 -8> Then said Abishai to David, God hath delivered
thine
enemy into thine hand this day: {now} therefore let me smite him,
I
pray thee, with the spear even to the earth at once, and I will
not
[smite] him the second time.
now <1SA26 -11> The LORD forbid that I should stretch forth mine
hand against the LORD'S anointed: but, I pray thee, take thou
{now}
the spear that [is] at his bolster, and the cruse of water, and
let
us go.
now <1SA26 -16> This thing [is] not good that thou hast done.
[As]
the LORD liveth, ye [are] worthy to die, because ye have not kept
your master, the LORD'S anointed. And {now} see where the king's
spear [is], and the cruse of water that [was] at his bols
ter.
now <1SA26 -19> {Now} therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the
king
hear the words of his servant. If the LORD have stirred thee up
against me, let him accept an offering: but if [they be] the
children of men, cursed [be] they before the LORD; for they hav
e driven me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of the
LORD, saying, Go, serve other gods.
now <1SA26 -20> {Now} therefore, let not my blood fall to the
earth
before the face of the LORD: for the king of Israel is come out
to
seek a flea, as when one doth hunt a partridge in the mountains.
now <1SA27 -1> And David said in his heart, I shall {now} perish
one
day by the hand of Saul: [there is] nothing better for me than
that
I should speedily escape into the land of the Philistines; and
Saul
shall despair of me, to seek me any more in any co
ast of Israel: so shall I escape out of his hand.
now <1SA27 -5> And David said unto Achish, If I have {now} found
grace in thine eyes, let them give me a place in some town in the
country, that I may dwell there: for why should thy servant
dwell in
the royal city with thee?
now <1SA28 -3> {Now} Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented
him, and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had
put
away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the
land.
now <1SA28 -22> {Now} therefore, I pray thee, hearken thou also
unto
the voice of thine handmaid, and let me set a morsel of bread
before
thee; and eat, that thou mayest have strength, when thou goest on
thy way.
now <1SA29 -1> {Now} the Philistines gathered together all their
armies to Aphek: and the Israelites pitched by a fountain which
[is]
in Jezreel.
now <1SA29 -7> Wherefore {now} return, and go in peace, that thou
displease not the lords of the Philistines.
now <1SA29 -10> Wherefore {now} rise up early in the morning with
thy master's servants that are come with thee: and as soon as ye
be
up early in the morning, and have light, depart.
now <1SA31 -1> {Now} the Philistines fought against Israel: and
the
men of Israel fled from before the Philistines, and fell down
slain
in mount Gilboa.
now <2SA1 -1> {Now} it came to pass after the death of Saul, when
David was returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and
David
had abode two days in Ziklag;
now <2SA2 -6> And {now} the LORD show kindness and truth unto
you:
and I also will requite you this kindness, because ye have done
this
thing.
now <2SA2 -7> Therefore {now} let your hands be strengthened,
and be
ye valiant: for your master Saul is dead, and also the house of
Judah have anointed me king over them.
now <2SA2 -14> And Abner said to Joab, Let the young men {now}
arise, and play before us. And Joab said, Let them arise.
now <2SA3 -1> {Now} there was long war between the house of Saul
and
the house of David: but David waxed stronger and stronger, and
the
house of Saul waxed weaker and weaker.
now <2SA3 -18> {Now} then do [it]: for the LORD hath spoken of
David, saying, By the hand of my servant David I will save my
people
Israel out of the hand of the Philistines, and out of the hand of
all their enemies.
now <2SA4 -11> How much more, when wicked men have slain a
righteous
person in his own house upon his bed? shall I not therefore {now}
require his blood of your hand, and take you away from the earth?
now <2SA7 -2> That the king said unto Nathan the prophet, See
{now},
I dwell in an house of cedar, but the ark of God dwelleth within
curtains.
now <2SA7 -8> {Now} therefore so shalt thou say unto my servant
David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the
sheepcote,
from following the sheep, to be ruler over my people, over
Israel:
now <2SA7 -25> And {now}, O LORD God, the word that thou hast
spoken
concerning thy servant, and concerning his house, establish [it]
for
ever, and do as thou hast said.
now <2SA7 -28> And {now}, O Lord GOD, thou [art] that God, and
thy
words be true, and thou hast promised this goodness unto thy
servant:
now <2SA7 -29> Therefore {now} let it please thee to bless the
house
of thy servant, that it may continue for ever before thee: for
thou,
O Lord GOD, hast spoken [it]: and with thy blessing let the
house of
thy servant be blessed for ever.
now <2SA9 -6> {Now} when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the
son
of Saul, was come unto David, he fell on his face, and did
reverence. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold
thy
servant!
now <2SA9 -10> Thou therefore, and thy sons, and thy servants,
shall
till the land for him, and thou shalt bring in [the fruits], that
thy master's son may have food to eat: but Mephibosheth thy
master's
son shall eat bread alway at my table. {Now} Ziba h
ad fifteen sons and twenty servants.
now <2SA12 -10> {Now} therefore the sword shall never depart from
thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the
wife
of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.
now <2SA12 -23> But {now} he is dead, wherefore should I fast?
can I
bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return
to
me.
now <2SA12 -28> {Now} therefore gather the rest of the people
together, and encamp against the city, and take it: lest I take
the
city, and it be called after my name.
now <2SA13 -7> Then David sent home to Tamar, saying, Go {now} to
thy brother Amnon's house, and dress him meat.
now <2SA13 -13> And I, whither shall I cause my shame to go? and
as
for thee, thou shalt be as one of the fools in Israel. {Now}
therefore, I pray thee, speak unto the king; for he will not
withhold me from thee.
now <2SA13 -17> Then he called his servant that ministered unto
him,
and said, Put {now} this [woman] out from me, and bolt the door
after her.
now <2SA13 -20> And Absalom her brother said unto her, Hath Amnon
thy brother been with thee? but hold {now} thy peace, my sister:
he
[is] thy brother; regard not this thing. So Tamar remained
desolate
in her brother Absalom's house.
now <2SA13 -24> And Absalom came to the king, and said, Behold
{now}, thy servant hath sheepshearers; let the king, I beseech
thee,
and his servants go with thy servant.
now <2SA13 -25> And the king said to Absalom, Nay, my son, let us
not all {now} go, lest we be chargeable unto thee. And he pressed
him: howbeit he would not go, but blessed him.
now <2SA13 -28> Now Absalom had commanded his servants, saying,
Mark
ye {now} when Amnon's heart is merry with wine, and when I say
unto
you, Smite Amnon; then kill him, fear not: have not I commanded
you?
be courageous, and be valiant.
now <2SA13 -28> {Now} Absalom had commanded his servants, saying,
Mark ye now when Amnon's heart is merry with wine, and when I say
unto you, Smite Amnon; then kill him, fear not: have not I
commanded
you? be courageous, and be valiant.
now <2SA13 -33> {Now} therefore let not my lord the king take the
thing to his heart, to think that all the king's sons are dead:
for
Amnon only is dead.
now <2SA14 -1> {Now} Joab the son of Zeruiah perceived that the
king's heart [was] toward Absalom.
now <2SA14 -2> And Joab sent to Tekoah, and fetched thence a wise
woman, and said unto her, I pray thee, feign thyself to be a
mourner, and put on {now} mourning apparel, and anoint not
thyself
with oil, but be as a woman that had a long time mourned for
the dead:
now <2SA14 -15> {Now} therefore that I am come to speak of this
thing unto my lord the king, [it is] because the people have
made me
afraid: and thy handmaid said, I will now speak unto the king; it
may be that the king will perform the request of his han
dmaid.
now <2SA14 -15> Now therefore that I am come to speak of this
thing
unto my lord the king, [it is] because the people have made me
afraid: and thy handmaid said, I will {now} speak unto the king;
it
may be that the king will perform the request of his han
dmaid.
now <2SA14 -17> Then thine handmaid said, The word of my lord the
king shall {now} be comfortable: for as an angel of God, so [is]
my
lord the king to discern good and bad: therefore the LORD thy God
will be with thee.
now <2SA14 -18> Then the king answered and said unto the woman,
Hide
not from me, I pray thee, the thing that I shall ask thee. And
the
woman said, Let my lord the king {now} speak.
now <2SA14 -21> And the king said unto Joab, Behold {now}, I have
done this thing: go therefore, bring the young man Absalom again.
now <2SA14 -32> And Absalom answered Joab, Behold, I sent unto
thee,
saying, Come hither, that I may send thee to the king, to say,
Wherefore am I come from Geshur? [it had been] good for me [to
have
been] there still: {now} therefore let me see the king'
s face; and if there be [any] iniquity in me, let him kill me.
now <2SA15 -34> But if thou return to the city, and say unto
Absalom, I will be thy servant, O king; [as] I [have been] thy
father's servant hitherto, so [will] I {now} also [be] thy
servant:
then mayest thou for me defeat the counsel of Ahithophel.
now <2SA16 -11> And David said to Abishai, and to all his
servants,
Behold, my son, which came forth of my bowels, seeketh my life:
how
much more {now} [may this] Benjamite [do it]? let him alone, and
let
him curse; for the LORD hath bidden him.
now <2SA17 -1> Moreover Ahithophel said unto Absalom, Let me
{now}
choose out twelve thousand men, and I will arise and pursue after
David this night:
now <2SA17 -5> Then said Absalom, Call {now} Hushai the Archite
also, and let us hear likewise what he saith.
now <2SA17 -9> Behold, he is hid {now} in some pit, or in some
[other] place: and it will come to pass, when some of them be
overthrown at the first, that whosoever heareth it will say,
There
is a slaughter among the people that follow Absalom.
now <2SA17 -16> {Now} therefore send quickly, and tell David,
saying, Lodge not this night in the plains of the wilderness, but
speedily pass over; lest the king be swallowed up, and all the
people that [are] with him.
now <2SA17 -17> {Now} Jonathan and Ahimaaz stayed by Enrogel; for
they might not be seen to come into the city: and a wench went
and
told them; and they went and told king David.
now <2SA18 -3> But the people answered, Thou shalt not go forth:
for
if we flee away, they will not care for us; neither if half of us
die, will they care for us: but {now} [thou art] worth ten
thousand
of us: therefore now [it is] better that thou succou
r us out of the city.
now <2SA18 -3> But the people answered, Thou shalt not go forth:
for
if we flee away, they will not care for us; neither if half of us
die, will they care for us: but now [thou art] worth ten
thousand of
us: therefore {now} [it is] better that thou succou
r us out of the city.
now <2SA18 -18> {Now} Absalom in his lifetime had taken and
reared
up for himself a pillar, which [is] in the king's dale: for he
said,
I have no son to keep my name in remembrance: and he called the
pillar after his own name: and it is called unto this d
ay, Absalom's place.
now <2SA18 -19> Then said Ahimaaz the son of Zadok, Let me {now}
run, and bear the king tidings, how that the LORD hath avenged
him
of his enemies.
now <2SA19 -7> Now therefore arise, go forth, and speak
comfortably
unto thy servants: for I swear by the LORD, if thou go not forth,
there will not tarry one with thee this night: and that will be
worse unto thee than all the evil that befell thee from t
hy youth until {now}.
now <2SA19 -7> {Now} therefore arise, go forth, and speak
comfortably unto thy servants: for I swear by the LORD, if thou
go
not forth, there will not tarry one with thee this night: and
that
will be worse unto thee than all the evil that befell thee from
thy youth until now.
now <2SA19 -9> And all the people were at strife throughout all
the
tribes of Israel, saying, The king saved us out of the hand of
our
enemies, and he delivered us out of the hand of the Philistines;
and
{now} he is fled out of the land for Absalom.
now <2SA19 -10> And Absalom, whom we anointed over us, is dead in
battle. {Now} therefore why speak ye not a word of bringing the
king
back?
now <2SA19 -32> {Now} Barzillai was a very aged man, [even]
fourscore years old: and he had provided the king of sustenance
while he lay at Mahanaim; for he [was] a very great man.
now <2SA20 -6> And David said to Abishai, {Now} shall Sheba the
son
of Bichri do us more harm than [did] Absalom: take thou thy
lord's
servants, and pursue after him, lest he get him fenced cities,
and
escape us.
now <2SA20 -23> {Now} Joab [was] over all the host of Israel: and
Benaiah the son of Jehoiada [was] over the Cherethites and over
the
Pelethites:
now <2SA21 -2> And the king called the Gibeonites, and said unto
them; ({now} the Gibeonites [were] not of the children of Israel,
but of the remnant of the Amorites; and the children of Israel
had
sworn unto them: and Saul sought to slay them in his zeal
to the children of Israel and Judah.)
now <2SA23 -1> {Now} these [be] the last words of David. David
the
son of Jesse said, and the man [who was] raised up on high, the
anointed of the God of Jacob, and the sweet psalmist of Israel,
said,
now <2SA24 -2> For the king said to Joab the captain of the host,
which [was] with him, Go {now} through all the tribes of Israel,
from Dan even to Beersheba, and number ye the people, that I may
know the number of the people.
now <2SA24 -3> And Joab said unto the king, {Now} the LORD thy
God
add unto the people, how many soever they be, an hundredfold, and
that the eyes of my lord the king may see [it]: but why doth my
lord
the king delight in this thing?
now <2SA24 -10> And David's heart smote him after that he had
numbered the people. And David said unto the LORD, I have sinned
greatly in that I have done: and {now}, I beseech thee, O LORD,
take
away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very fool
ishly.
now <2SA24 -13> So Gad came to David, and told him, and said unto
him, Shall seven years of famine come unto thee in thy land? or
wilt
thou flee three months before thine enemies, while they pursue
thee?
or that there be three days' pestilence in thy land
? {now} advise, and see what answer I shall return to him that
sent
me.
now <2SA24 -14> And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait:
let
us fall {now} into the hand of the LORD; for his mercies [are]
great: and let me not fall into the hand of man.
now <2SA24 -16> And when the angel stretched out his hand upon
Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD repented him of the evil, and
said
to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough: stay {now}
thine hand. And the angel of the LORD was by the threshing
place of Araunah the Jebusite.
now <1KI1 -1> {Now} king David was old [and] stricken in years;
and
they covered him with clothes, but he gat no heat.
now <1KI1 -12> {Now} therefore come, let me, I pray thee, give
thee
counsel, that thou mayest save thine own life, and the life of
thy
son Solomon.
now <1KI1 -18> And now, behold, Adonijah reigneth; and {now}, my
lord the king, thou knowest [it] not:
now <1KI1 -18> And {now}, behold, Adonijah reigneth; and now, my
lord the king, thou knowest [it] not:
now <1KI2 -1> {Now} the days of David drew nigh that he should
die;
and he charged Solomon his son, saying,
now <1KI2 -9> {Now} therefore hold him not guiltless: for thou
[art]
a wise man, and knowest what thou oughtest to do unto him; but
his
hoar head bring thou down to the grave with blood.
now <1KI2 -16> And {now} I ask one petition of thee, deny me not.
And she said unto him, Say on.
now <1KI2 -24> {Now} therefore, [as] the LORD liveth, which hath
established me, and set me on the throne of David my father, and
who
hath made me an house, as he promised, Adonijah shall be put to
death this day.
now <1KI3 -7> And {now}, O LORD my God, thou hast made thy
servant
king instead of David my father: and I [am but] a little child: I
know not [how] to go out or come in.
now <1KI5 -4> But {now} the LORD my God hath given me rest on
every
side, [so that there is] neither adversary nor evil occurrent.
now <1KI5 -6> {Now} therefore command thou that they hew me cedar
trees out of Lebanon; and my servants shall be with thy servants:
and unto thee will I give hire for thy servants according to all
that thou shalt appoint: for thou knowest that [there is]
not among us any that can skill to hew timber like unto the
Sidonians.
now <1KI8 -25> Therefore {now}, LORD God of Israel, keep with thy
servant David my father that thou promisedst him, saying, There
shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of
Israel; so that thy children take heed to their way, that they
walk before me as thou hast walked before me.
now <1KI8 -26> And {now}, O God of Israel, let thy word, I pray
thee, be verified, which thou spakest unto thy servant David my
father.
now <1KI9 -11> {Now}] Hiram the king of Tyre had furnished
Solomon
with cedar trees and fir trees, and with gold, according to all
his
desire,) that then king Solomon gave Hiram twenty cities in the
land
of Galilee.
now <1KI10 -14> {Now} the weight of gold that came to Solomon in
one
year was six hundred threescore and six talents of gold,
now <1KI12 -4> Thy father made our yoke grievous: {now} therefore
make thou the grievous service of thy father, and his heavy yoke
which he put upon us, lighter, and we will serve thee.
now <1KI12 -11> And {now} whereas my father did lade you with a
heavy yoke, I will add to your yoke: my father hath chastised you
with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.
now <1KI12 -16> So when all Israel saw that the king hearkened
not
unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion
have
we in David? neither [have we] inheritance in the son of Jesse:
to
your tents, O Israel: {now} see to thine own house, Da
vid. So Israel departed unto their tents.
now <1KI12 -26> And Jeroboam said in his heart, {Now} shall the
kingdom return to the house of David:
now <1KI13 -6> And the king answered and said unto the man of
God,
Entreat {now} the face of the LORD thy God, and pray for me,
that my
hand may be restored me again. And the man of God besought the
LORD,
and the king's hand was restored him again, and be
came as [it was] before.
now <1KI13 -11> {Now} there dwelt an old prophet in Bethel; and
his
sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done
that day in Bethel: the words which he had spoken unto the king,
them they told also to their father.
now <1KI14 -14> Moreover the LORD shall raise him up a king over
Israel, who shall cut off the house of Jeroboam that day: but
what?
even {now}.
now <1KI14 -29> {Now} the rest of the acts of Rehoboam, and all
that
he did, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of
the
kings of Judah?
now <1KI15 -1> {Now} in the eighteenth year of king Jeroboam the
son
of Nebat reigned Abijam over Judah.
now <1KI15 -7> {Now} the rest of the acts of Abijam, and all
that he
did, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the
kings of Judah? And there was war between Abijam and Jeroboam.
now <1KI15 -31> {Now} the rest of the acts of Nadab, and all
that he
did, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the
kings of Israel?
now <1KI16 -5> {Now} the rest of the acts of Baasha, and what he
did, and his might, [are] they not written in the book of the
chronicles of the kings of Israel?
now <1KI16 -14> {Now} the rest of the acts of Elah, and all that
he
did, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the
kings of Israel?
now <1KI16 -20> {Now} the rest of the acts of Zimri, and his
treason
that he wrought, [are] they not written in the book of the
chronicles of the kings of Israel?
now <1KI16 -27> {Now} the rest of the acts of Omri which he did,
and
his might that he showed, [are] they not written in the book of
the
chronicles of the kings of Israel?
now <1KI17 -24> And the woman said to Elijah, {Now} by this I
know
that thou [art] a man of God, [and] that the word of the LORD in
thy
mouth [is] truth.
now <1KI18 -3> And Ahab called Obadiah, which [was] the governor
of
[his] house. ({Now} Obadiah feared the LORD greatly:
now <1KI18 -11> And {now} thou sayest, Go, tell thy lord, Behold,
Elijah [is here].
now <1KI18 -14> And {now} thou sayest, Go, tell thy lord, Behold,
Elijah [is here]: and he shall slay me.
now <1KI18 -19> {Now} therefore send, [and] gather to me all
Israel
unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and
fifty,
and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which eat at
Jezebel's
table.
now <1KI18 -43> And said to his servant, Go up {now}, look toward
the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, [There is]
nothing.
And he said, Go again seven times.
now <1KI19 -4> But he himself went a day's journey into the
wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he
requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough;
{now}, O LORD, take away my life; for I [am] not better than my
fat
hers.
now <1KI20 -31> And his servants said unto him, Behold {now}, we
have heard that the kings of the house of Israel [are] merciful
kings: let us, I pray thee, put sackcloth on our loins, and ropes
upon our heads, and go out to the king of Israel: peradventu
re he will save thy life.
now <1KI20 -33> {Now} the men did diligently observe whether [any
thing would come] from him, and did hastily catch [it]: and they
said, Thy brother Benhadad. Then he said, Go ye, bring him. Then
Benhadad came forth to him; and he caused him to come up in
to the chariot.
now <1KI21 -7> And Jezebel his wife said unto him, Dost thou
{now}
govern the kingdom of Israel? arise, [and] eat bread, and let
thine
heart be merry: I will give thee the vineyard of Naboth the
Jezreelite.
now <1KI22 -13> And the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah
spake unto him, saying, Behold {now}, the words of the prophets
[declare] good unto the king with one mouth: let thy word, I pray
thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak [that which
is] good.
now <1KI22 -23> {Now} therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a
lying
spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath
spoken evil concerning thee.
now <1KI22 -39> {Now} the rest of the acts of Ahab, and all that
he
did, and the ivory house which he made, and all the cities that
he
built, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of
the
kings of Israel?
now <1KI22 -45> {Now} the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, and
his
might that he showed, and how he warred, [are] they not written
in
the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
now <2KI1 -4> {Now} therefore thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not
come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt
surely
die. And Elijah departed.
now <2KI1 -5> And when the messengers turned back unto him, he
said
unto them, Why are ye {now} turned back?
now <2KI1 -14> Behold, there came fire down from heaven, and
burnt
up the two captains of the former fifties with their fifties:
therefore let my life {now} be precious in thy sight.
now <2KI1 -18> {Now} the rest of the acts of Ahaziah which he
did,
[are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the
kings of
Israel?
now <2KI2 -16> And they said unto him, Behold {now}, there be
with
thy servants fifty strong men; let them go, we pray thee, and
seek
thy master: lest peradventure the spirit of the LORD hath taken
him
up, and cast him upon some mountain, or into some val
ley. And he said, Ye shall not send.
now <2KI3 -1> {Now} Jehoram the son of Ahab began to reign over
Israel in Samaria the eighteenth year of Jehoshaphat king of
Judah,
and reigned twelve years.
now <2KI3 -15> But {now} bring me a minstrel. And it came to
pass,
when the minstrel played, that the hand of the LORD came upon
him.
now <2KI3 -23> And they said, This [is] blood: the kings are
surely
slain, and they have smitten one another: {now} therefore, Moab,
to
the spoil.
now <2KI4 -1> {Now} there cried a certain woman of the wives of
the
sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband
is
dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and
the
creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be
bondmen.
now <2KI4 -9> And she said unto her husband, Behold {now}, I
perceive that this [is] an holy man of God, which passeth by us
continually.
now <2KI4 -13> And he said unto him, Say {now} unto her, Behold,
thou hast been careful for us with all this care; what [is] to be
done for thee? wouldest thou be spoken for to the king, or to the
captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell among mine
own people.
now <2KI4 -26> Run {now}, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto
her, [Is it] well with thee? [is it] well with thy husband? [is
it]
well with the child? And she answered, [It is] well.
now <2KI5 -1> {Now} Naaman, captain of the host of the king of
Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because
by
him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a
mighty
man in valour, [but he was] a leper.
now <2KI5 -6> And he brought the letter to the king of Israel,
saying, {Now} when this letter is come unto thee, behold, I have
[therewith] sent Naaman my servant to thee, that thou mayest
recover
him of his leprosy.
now <2KI5 -8> And it was [so], when Elisha the man of God had
heard
that the king of Israel had rent his clothes, that he sent to the
king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let him come
{now} to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet i
n Israel.
now <2KI5 -15> And he returned to the man of God, he and all his
company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold,
{now}
I know that [there is] no God in all the earth, but in Israel:
now
therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.
now <2KI5 -15> And he returned to the man of God, he and all his
company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold,
now I
know that [there is] no God in all the earth, but in Israel:
{now}
therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.
now <2KI5 -22> And he said, All [is] well. My master hath sent
me,
saying, Behold, even {now} there be come to me from mount Ephraim
two young men of the sons of the prophets: give them, I pray
thee, a
talent of silver, and two changes of garments.
now <2KI6 -1> And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha,
Behold
{now}, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait for us.
now <2KI7 -4> If we say, We will enter into the city, then the
famine [is] in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit
still
here, we die also. {Now} therefore come, and let us fall unto the
host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live
; and if they kill us, we shall but die.
now <2KI7 -9> Then they said one to another, We do not well: this
day [is] a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we
tarry
till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: {now}
therefore come, that we may go and tell the king's househol
d.
now <2KI7 -12> And the king arose in the night, and said unto his
servants, I will {now} show you what the Syrians have done to us.
They know that we [be] hungry; therefore are they gone out of the
camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, When they c
ome out of the city, we shall catch them alive, and get into the
city.
now <2KI7 -19> And that lord answered the man of God, and said,
{Now}, behold, [if] the LORD should make windows in heaven, might
such a thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with
thine
eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
now <2KI8 -6> And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So
the king appointed unto her a certain officer, saying, Restore
all
that [was] hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day
that
she left the land, even until {now}.
now <2KI9 -12> And they said, [It is] false; tell us {now}. And
he
said, Thus and thus spake he to me, saying, Thus saith the LORD,
I
have anointed thee king over Israel.
now <2KI9 -14> So Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi
conspired against Joram. ({Now} Joram had kept Ramothgilead, he
and
all Israel, because of Hazael king of Syria.
now <2KI9 -26> Surely I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth,
and
the blood of his sons, saith the LORD; and I will requite thee in
this plat, saith the LORD. {Now} therefore take [and] cast him
into
the plat [of ground], according to the word of the L
ORD.
now <2KI9 -34> And when he was come in, he did eat and drink, and
said, Go, see {now} this cursed [woman], and bury her: for she
[is]
a king's daughter.
now <2KI10 -2> {Now} as soon as this letter cometh to you, seeing
your master's sons [are] with you, and [there are] with you
chariots
and horses, a fenced city also, and armour;
now <2KI10 -6> Then he wrote a letter the second time to them,
saying, If ye [be] mine, and [if] ye will hearken unto my voice,
take ye the heads of the men your master's sons, and come to me
to
Jezreel by to morrow this time. {Now} the king's sons, [bein
g] seventy persons, [were] with the great men of the city, which
brought them up.
now <2KI10 -10> Know {now} that there shall fall unto the earth
nothing of the word of the LORD, which the LORD spake concerning
the
house of Ahab: for the LORD hath done [that] which he spake by
his
servant Elijah.
now <2KI10 -19> {Now} therefore call unto me all the prophets of
Baal, all his servants, and all his priests; let none be wanting:
for I have a great sacrifice [to do] to Baal; whosoever shall be
wanting, he shall not live. But Jehu did [it] in subtlety,
to the intent that he might destroy the worshippers of Baal.
now <2KI10 -34> {Now} the rest of the acts of Jehu, and all that
he
did, and all his might, [are] they not written in the book of the
chronicles of the kings of Israel?
now <2KI12 -7> Then king Jehoash called for Jehoiada the priest,
and
the [other] priests, and said unto them, Why repair ye not the
breaches of the house? {now} therefore receive no [more] money of
your acquaintance, but deliver it for the breaches of the
house.
now <2KI13 -8> {Now} the rest of the acts of Jehoahaz, and all

whereof
he died. And Joash the king of Israel came down unto him, and

over his face, and said, O my father, my father, the chariot of
Israel, and the horsemen thereof.
now <2KI13 -19> And the man of God was wroth with him, and said,
Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou
smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed [it]: whereas {now} thou
shalt smite Syria [but] thrice.
now <2KI14 -15> {Now} the rest of the acts of Jehoash which he

he did, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of
the
kings of Judah?

Hezekiah, Thus saith the great king, the king of Assyria, What
confidence [is] this wherein thou trustest?
now <2KI18 -20> Thou sayest, (but [they are but] vain words), [I
have] counsel and strength for the war. {Now} on whom dost thou
trust, that thou rebellest against me?
now <2KI18 -21> {Now}, behold, thou trustest upon the staff of
this
bruised reed, [even] upon Egypt, on which if a man lean, it will
go
into his hand, and pierce it: so [is] Pharaoh king of Egypt unto
all
that trust on him.
now <2KI18 -23> {Now} therefore, I pray thee, give pledges to my
lord the king of Assyria, and I will deliver thee two thousand
horses, if thou be able on thy part to set riders upon them.
now <2KI18 -25> Am I {now} come up without the LORD against this
place to destroy it? The LORD said to me, Go up against this
land,
and destroy it.
now <2KI19 -19> {Now} therefore, O LORD our God, I beseech thee,
save thou us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth
may
know that thou [art] the LORD God, [even] thou only.
now <2KI19 -25> Hast thou not heard long ago [how] I have done
it,
[and] of ancient times that I have formed it? {now} have I
brought
it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste fenced cities
[into]
ruinous heaps.
now <2KI20 -3> I beseech thee, O LORD, remember {now} how I have
walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have
done
[that which is] good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

Israel: and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after t

now <1CH17 -23> Therefore {now}, LORD, let the thing that thou
hast
spoken concerning thy servant and concerning his house be
established for ever, and do as thou hast said.
now <1CH17 -26> And {now}, LORD, thou art God, and hast promised
this goodness unto thy servant:

now <1CH19 -1> {Now} it came to pass after this, that Nahash the
king of the children of Ammon died, and his son reigned in his
stead.
now <1CH19 -10> {Now} when Joab saw that the battle was set
against
him before and behind, he chose out of all the choice of Israel,
and
put [them] in array against the Syrians.
now <1CH21 -8> And David said unto God, I have sinned greatly,
because I have done this thing: but {now}, I beseech thee, do
away
the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.
now <1CH21 -12> Either three years' famine; or three months to be
destroyed before thy foes, while that the sword of thine enemies
overtaketh [thee]; or else three days the sword of the LORD, even
the pestilence, in the land, and the angel of the LORD des
troying throughout all the coasts of Israel. {Now} therefore
advise
thyself what word I shall bring again to him that sent me.
now <1CH21 -13> And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait:
let
me fall {now} into the hand of the LORD; for very great [are] his
mercies: but let me not fall into the hand of man.
now <1CH21 -15> And God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy
it:
and as he was destroying, the LORD beheld, and he repented him of
the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed, It is enough,
stay
{now} thine hand. And the angel of the LORD stood by t
he threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.
now <1CH21 -20> And Ornan turned back, and saw the angel; and his
four sons with him hid themselves. {Now} Ornan was threshing
wheat.
now <1CH22 -5> And David said, Solomon my son [is] young and
tender,
and the house [that is] to be builded for the LORD [must be]
exceeding magnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all
countries:
I will [therefore] {now} make preparation for it. So Dav
id prepared abundantly before his death.
now <1CH22 -11> {Now}, my son, the LORD be with thee; and prosper
thou, and build the house of the LORD thy God, as he hath said of
thee.
now <1CH22 -14> {Now}, behold, in my trouble I have prepared for
the
house of the LORD an hundred thousand talents of gold, and a
thousand thousand talents of silver; and of brass and iron
without
weight; for it is in abundance: timber also and stone have
I prepared; and thou mayest add thereto.
now <1CH22 -19> {Now} set your heart and your soul to seek the
LORD
your God; arise therefore, and build ye the sanctuary of the LORD
God, to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and the holy
vessels of God, into the house that is to be built to the
name of the LORD.
now <1CH23 -3> {Now} the Levites were numbered from the age of
thirty years and upward: and their number by their polls, man by
man, was thirty and eight thousand.
now <1CH23 -14> {Now} [concerning] Moses the man of God, his sons
were named of the tribe of Levi.
now <1CH24 -1> {Now} [these are] the divisions of the sons of
Aaron.
The sons of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
now <1CH24 -7> {Now} the first lot came forth to Jehoiarib, the
second to Jedaiah,
now <1CH25 -9> {Now} the first lot came forth for Asaph to
Joseph:
the second to Gedaliah, who with his brethren and sons [were]
twelve:
now <1CH27 -1> {Now} the children of Israel after their number,
[to
wit], the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds,
and
their officers that served the king in any matter of the courses,
which came in and went out month by month throughout
all the months of the year, of every course [were] twenty and
four
thousand.
now <1CH28 -8> {Now} therefore in the sight of all Israel the
congregation of the LORD, and in the audience of our God, keep
and
seek for all the commandments of the LORD your God: that ye may
possess this good land, and leave [it] for an inheritance for
your children after you for ever.
now <1CH28 -10> Take heed {now}; for the LORD hath chosen thee to
build an house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do [it].
now <1CH29 -2> {Now} I have prepared with all my might for the
house
of my God the gold for [things to be made] of gold, and the
silver
for [things] of silver, and the brass for [things] of brass, the
iron for [things] of iron, and wood for [things] of wo
od; onyx stones, and [stones] to be set, glistering stones, and
of
divers colours, and all manner of precious stones, and marble
stones
in abundance.
now <1CH29 -13> {Now} therefore, our God, we thank thee, and
praise
thy glorious name.
now <1CH29 -17> I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart,
and
hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of
mine
heart I have willingly offered all these things: and {now} have I
seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to
offer willingly unto thee.
now <1CH29 -20> And David said to all the congregation, {Now}
bless
the LORD your God. And all the congregation blessed the LORD God
of
their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshipped the
LORD,
and the king.
now <1CH29 -29> {Now} the acts of David the king, first and last,
behold, they [are] written in the book of Samuel the seer, and in
the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer,
now <2CH1 -9> {Now}, O LORD God, let thy promise unto David my
father be established: for thou hast made me king over a people
like
the dust of the earth in multitude.
now <2CH1 -10> Give me {now} wisdom and knowledge, that I may go
out
and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy
people,
[that is so] great?
now <2CH2 -7> Send me {now} therefore a man cunning to work in
gold,
and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and
crimson, and blue, and that can skill to grave with the cunning
men
that [are] with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David
my father did provide.
now <2CH2 -13> And {now} I have sent a cunning man, endued with
understanding, of Huram my father's,
now <2CH2 -15> {Now} therefore the wheat, and the barley, the
oil,
and the wine, which my lord hath spoken of, let him send unto his
servants:
now <2CH3 -3> {Now} these [are the things wherein] Solomon was
instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by
cubits after the first measure [was] threescore cubits, and the
breadth twenty cubits.
now <2CH6 -7> {Now} it was in the heart of David my father to
build
an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.
now <2CH6 -16> {Now} therefore, O LORD God of Israel, keep with
thy
servant David my father that which thou hast promised him,
saying,
There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit upon the
throne
of Israel; yet so that thy children take heed to thei
r way to walk in my law, as thou hast walked before me.
now <2CH6 -17> {Now} then, O LORD God of Israel, let thy word be
verified, which thou hast spoken unto thy servant David.
now <2CH6 -40> {Now}, my God, let, I beseech thee, thine eyes be
open, and [let] thine ears [be] attent unto the prayer [that is
made] in this place.
now <2CH6 -41> {Now} therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy
resting
place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O LORD
God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saints rejoice in
goodness.
now <2CH7 -1> {Now} when Solomon had made an end of praying, the
fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and
the
sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.
now <2CH7 -15> {Now} mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears
attent
unto the prayer [that is made] in this place.
now <2CH7 -16> For {now} have I chosen and sanctified this house,
that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart
shall be there perpetually.
now <2CH8 -16> {Now} all the work of Solomon was prepared unto
the
day of the foundation of the house of the LORD, and until it was
finished. [So] the house of the LORD was perfected.
now <2CH9 -13> {Now} the weight of gold that came to Solomon in
one
year was six hundred and threescore and six talents of gold;
now <2CH9 -29> {Now} the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and
last, [are] they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet,
and
in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of
Iddo
the seer against Jeroboam the son of Nebat?
now <2CH10 -4> Thy father made our yoke grievous: {now} therefore
ease thou somewhat the grievous servitude of thy father, and his
heavy yoke that he put upon us, and we will serve thee.
now <2CH10 -16> And when all Israel [saw] that the king would not
hearken unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What
portion have we in David? and [we have] none inheritance in the
son
of Jesse: every man to your tents, O Israel: [and] {now}, D
avid, see to thine own house. So all Israel went to their tents.
now <2CH12 -15> {Now} the acts of Rehoboam, first and last, [are]
they not written in the book of Shemaiah the prophet, and of Iddo
the seer concerning genealogies? And [there were] wars between
Rehoboam and Jeroboam continually.
now <2CH13 -1> {Now} in the eighteenth year of king Jeroboam
began
Abijah to reign over Judah.
now <2CH13 -8> And {now} ye think to withstand the kingdom of the
LORD in the hand of the sons of David; and ye [be] a great
multitude, and [there are] with you golden calves, which Jeroboam
made you for gods.
now <2CH15 -3> {Now} for a long season Israel [hath been] without
the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law.
now <2CH18 -1> {Now} Jehoshaphat had riches and honour in
abundance,
and joined affinity with Ahab.
now <2CH18 -22> {Now} therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a
lying
spirit in the mouth of these thy prophets, and the LORD hath
spoken
evil against thee.
now <2CH18 -30> {Now} the king of Syria had commanded the
captains
of the chariots that [were] with him, saying, Fight ye not with
small or great, save only with the king of Israel.
now <2CH19 -7> Wherefore {now} let the fear of the LORD be upon
you;
take heed and do [it]: for [there is] no iniquity with the LORD
our
God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.
now <2CH20 -10> And {now}, behold, the children of Ammon and Moab
and mount Seir, whom thou wouldest not let Israel invade, when
they
came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them, and
destroyed them not;
now <2CH20 -34> {Now} the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, first
and
last, behold, they [are] written in the book of Jehu the son of
Hanani, who [is] mentioned in the book of the kings of Israel.
now <2CH21 -1> {Now} Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was
buried with his fathers in the city of David. And Jehoram his son
reigned in his stead.
now <2CH21 -4> {Now} when Jehoram was risen up to the kingdom of
his
father, he strengthened himself, and slew all his brethren with
the
sword, and [divers] also of the princes of Israel.
now <2CH23 -12> {Now} when Athaliah heard the noise of the people
running and praising the king, she came to the people into the
house
of the LORD:
now <2CH24 -11> {Now} it came to pass, that at what time the
chest
was brought unto the king's office by the hand of the Levites,
and
when they saw that [there was] much money, the king's scribe and
the
high priest's officer came and emptied the chest, an
d took it, and carried it to his place again. Thus they did day
by
day, and gathered money in abundance.
now <2CH24 -17> {Now} after the death of Jehoiada came the
princes
of Judah, and made obeisance to the king. Then the king hearkened
unto them.
now <2CH24 -27> {Now} [concerning] his sons, and the greatness of
the burdens [laid] upon him, and the repairing of the house of
God,
behold, they [are] written in the story of the book of the kings.
And Amaziah his son reigned in his stead.
now <2CH25 -3> {Now} it came to pass, when the kingdom was
established to him, that he slew his servants that had killed the
king his father.
now <2CH25 -14> {Now} it came to pass, after that Amaziah was
come
from the slaughter of the Edomites, that he brought the gods of
the
children of Seir, and set them up [to be] his gods, and bowed
down
himself before them, and burned incense unto them.
now <2CH25 -19> Thou sayest, Lo, thou hast smitten the Edomites;
and
thine heart lifteth thee up to boast: abide {now} at home; why
shouldest thou meddle to [thine] hurt, that thou shouldest fall,
[even] thou, and Judah with thee?
now <2CH25 -26> {Now} the rest of the acts of Amaziah, first and
last, behold, [are] they not written in the book of the kings of
Judah and Israel?
now <2CH25 -27> {Now} after the time that Amaziah did turn away
from
following the LORD they made a conspiracy against him in
Jerusalem;
and he fled to Lachish: but they sent to Lachish after him, and
slew
him there.
now <2CH26 -22> {Now} the rest of the acts of Uzziah, first and
last, did Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, write.
now <2CH27 -7> {Now} the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all his
wars, and his ways, lo, they [are] written in the book of the
kings
of Israel and Judah.
now <2CH28 -10> And {now} ye purpose to keep under the children
of
Judah and Jerusalem for bondmen and bondwomen unto you: [but are
there] not with you, even with you, sins against the LORD your
God?
now <2CH28 -11> {Now} hear me therefore, and deliver the captives
again, which ye have taken captive of your brethren: for the
fierce
wrath of the LORD [is] upon you.
now <2CH28 -26> {Now} the rest of his acts and of all his ways,
first and last, behold, they [are] written in the book of the
kings
of Judah and Israel.
now <2CH29 -5> And said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites, sanctify
{now} yourselves, and sanctify the house of the LORD God of your
fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy [place].
now <2CH29 -10> {Now} [it is] in mine heart to make a covenant
with
the LORD God of Israel, that his fierce wrath may turn away from
us.
now <2CH29 -11> My sons, be not {now} negligent: for the LORD
hath
chosen you to stand before him, to serve him, and that ye should
minister unto him, and burn incense.
now <2CH29 -17> {Now} they began on the first [day] of the first
month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month came they
to
the porch of the LORD: so they sanctified the house of the LORD
in
eight days; and in the sixteenth day of the first month
they made an end.
now <2CH29 -31> Then Hezekiah answered and said, {Now} ye have
consecrated yourselves unto the LORD, come near and bring
sacrifices
and thank offerings into the house of the LORD. And the
congregation
brought in sacrifices and thank offerings; and as many
as were of a free heart burnt offerings.
now <2CH30 -8> {Now} be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers
[were,
but] yield yourselves unto the LORD, and enter into his
sanctuary,
which he hath sanctified for ever: and serve the LORD your God,
that
the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you.
now <2CH31 -1> {Now} when all this was finished, all Israel that
were present went out to the cities of Judah, and brake the
images
in pieces, and cut down the groves, and threw down the high
places
and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim
also and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all.
Then
all the children of Israel returned, every man to his possession,
into their own cities.
now <2CH32 -15> {Now} therefore let not Hezekiah deceive you, nor
persuade you on this manner, neither yet believe him: for no god
of
any nation or kingdom was able to deliver his people out of mine
hand, and out of the hand of my fathers: how much less s
hall your God deliver you out of mine hand?
now <2CH32 -32> {Now} the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and his
goodness, behold, they [are] written in the vision of Isaiah the
prophet, the son of Amoz, [and] in the book of the kings of Judah
and Israel.
now <2CH33 -14> {Now} after this he built a wall without the
city of
David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the
entering in at the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and
raised
it up a very great height, and put captains of war in all
the fenced cities of Judah.
now <2CH33 -18> {Now} the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his
prayer unto his God, and the words of the seers that spake to
him in
the name of the LORD God of Israel, behold, they [are written] in
the book of the kings of Israel.
now <2CH34 -8> {Now} in the eighteenth year of his reign, when he
had purged the land, and the house, he sent Shaphan the son of
Azaliah, and Maaseiah the governor of the city, and Joah the son
of
Joahaz the recorder, to repair the house of the LORD his G
od.
now <2CH34 -22> And Hilkiah, and [they] that the king [had
appointed], went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum
the
son of Tikvath, the son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe; ({now}
she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college:) and they spake to her t
o that [effect].
now <2CH35 -3> And said unto the Levites that taught all Israel,
which were holy unto the LORD, Put the holy ark in the house
which
Solomon the son of David king of Israel did build; [it shall] not
[be] a burden upon [your] shoulders: serve {now} the LORD
your God, and his people Israel,
now <2CH35 -26> {Now} the rest of the acts of Josiah, and his
goodness, according to [that which was] written in the law of the
LORD,
now <2CH36 -8> {Now} the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and his
abominations which he did, and that which was found in him,
behold,
they [are] written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah:
and
Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead.
now <2CH36 -22> {Now} in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia,
that the word of the LORD [spoken] by the mouth of Jeremiah
might be
accomplished, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of
Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his king
dom, and [put it] also in writing, saying,
now <EZR1 -1> {Now} in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia,
that
the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled,
the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he
made
a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and [put
it] also in writing, saying,
now <EZR2 -1> {Now} these [are] the children of the province that
went up out of the captivity, of those which had been carried
away,
whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto
Babylon, and came again unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one
unto his city;
now <EZR3 -8> {Now} in the second year of their coming unto the
house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel
the
son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the remnant
of
their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all th
ey that were come out of the captivity unto Jerusalem; and
appointed
the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to set forward the
work of the house of the LORD.
now <EZR4 -1> {Now} when the adversaries of Judah and Benjamin
heard
that the children of the captivity builded the temple unto the
LORD
God of Israel;
now <EZR4 -13> Be it known {now} unto the king, that, if this
city
be builded, and the walls set up [again, then] will they not pay
toll, tribute, and custom, and [so] thou shalt endamage the
revenue
of the kings.
now <EZR4 -14> {Now} because we have maintenance from [the
king's]
palace, and it was not meet for us to see the king's dishonour,
therefore have we sent and certified the king;
now <EZR4 -21> Give ye {now} commandment to cause these men to
cease, and that this city be not builded, until [another]
commandment shall be given from me.
now <EZR4 -22> Take heed {now} that ye fail not to do this: why
should damage grow to the hurt of the kings?
now <EZR4 -23> {Now} when the copy of king Artaxerxes' letter
[was]
read before Rehum, and Shimshai the scribe, and their companions,
they went up in haste to Jerusalem unto the Jews, and made them
to
cease by force and power.
now <EZR5 -16> Then came the same Sheshbazzar, [and] laid the
foundation of the house of God which [is] in Jerusalem: and since
that time even until {now} hath it been in building, and [yet]
it is
not finished.
now <EZR5 -17> {Now} therefore, if [it seem] good to the king,
let
there be search made in the king's treasure house, which [is]
there
at Babylon, whether it be [so], that a decree was made of Cyrus
the
king to build this house of God at Jerusalem, and le
t the king send his pleasure to us concerning this matter.
now <EZR6 -6> {Now} [therefore], Tatnai, governor beyond the
river,
Shetharboznai, and your companions the Apharsachites, which [are]
beyond the river, be ye far from thence:
now <EZR7 -1> {Now} after these things, in the reign of
Artaxerxes
king of Persia, Ezra the son of Seraiah, the son of Azariah, the
son
of Hilkiah,
now <EZR7 -11> {Now} this [is] the copy of the letter that the
king
Artaxerxes gave unto Ezra the priest, the scribe, [even] a
scribe of
the words of the commandments of the LORD, and of his statutes to
Israel.
now <EZR8 -1> These [are] {now} the chief of their fathers, and
[this is] the genealogy of them that went up with me from
Babylon,
in the reign of Artaxerxes the king.
now <EZR8 -33> {Now} on the fourth day was the silver and the
gold
and the vessels weighed in the house of our God by the hand of
Meremoth the son of Uriah the priest; and with him [was] Eleazar
the
son of Phinehas; and with them [was] Jozabad the son of
Jeshua, and Noadiah the son of Binnui, Levites;
now <EZR9 -1> {Now} when these things were done, the princes
came to
me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the
Levites,
have not separated themselves from the people of the lands,
[doing]
according to their abominations, [even] of the Can
aanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the
Ammonites,
the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.
now <EZR9 -8> And {now} for a little space grace hath been
[showed]
from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to
give
us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes,
and
give us a little reviving in our bondage.
now <EZR9 -10> And {now}, O our God, what shall we say after
this?
for we have forsaken thy commandments,
now <EZR9 -12> {Now} therefore give not your daughters unto their
sons, neither take their daughters unto your sons, nor seek their
peace or their wealth for ever: that ye may be strong, and eat
the
good of the land, and leave [it] for an inheritance to y
our children for ever.
now <EZR10 -1> {Now} when Ezra had prayed, and when he had
confessed, weeping and casting himself down before the house of
God,
there assembled unto him out of Israel a very great congregation
of
men and women and children: for the people wept very sore.
now <EZR10 -2> And Shechaniah the son of Jehiel, [one] of the
sons
of Elam, answered and said unto Ezra, We have trespassed against
our
God, and have taken strange wives of the people of the land: yet
{now} there is hope in Israel concerning this thing.
now <EZR10 -3> {Now} therefore let us make a covenant with our
God
to put away all the wives, and such as are born of them,
according
to the counsel of my lord, and of those that tremble at the
commandment of our God; and let it be done according to the l
aw.
now <EZR10 -11> {Now} therefore make confession unto the LORD
God of
your fathers, and do his pleasure: and separate yourselves from
the
people of the land, and from the strange wives.
now <EZR10 -14> Let {now} our rulers of all the congregation
stand,
and let all them which have taken strange wives in our cities
come
at appointed times, and with them the elders of every city, and
the
judges thereof, until the fierce wrath of our God fo
r this matter be turned from us.
now <NEH1 -6> Let thine ear {now} be attentive, and thine eyes
open,
that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray
before
thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants,
and confess the sins of the children of Israel, whi
ch we have sinned against thee: both I and my father's house have
sinned.
now <NEH1 -6> Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes
open,
that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray
before
thee {now}, day and night, for the children of Israel thy
servants,
and confess the sins of the children of Israel, whi
ch we have sinned against thee: both I and my father's house have
sinned.
now <NEH1 -10> {Now} these [are] thy servants and thy people,
whom
thou hast redeemed by thy great power, and by thy strong hand.
now <NEH1 -11> O Lord, I beseech thee, let {now} thine ear be
attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy
servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee,
thy
servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this
man. For I was the king's cupbearer.
now <NEH2 -1> And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the
twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king, [that] wine [was] before
him:
and I took up the wine, and gave [it] unto the king. {Now} I had
not
been [beforetime] sad in his presence.
now <NEH2 -9> Then I came to the governors beyond the river, and
gave them the king's letters. {Now} the king had sent captains of
the army and horsemen with me.
now <NEH4 -3> {Now} Tobiah the Ammonite [was] by him, and he
said,
Even that which they build, if a fox go up, he shall even break
down
their stone wall.
now <NEH5 -5> Yet {now} our flesh [is] as the flesh of our
brethren,
our children as their children: and, lo, we bring into bondage
our
sons and our daughters to be servants, and [some] of our
daughters
are brought unto bondage [already]: neither [is it]
in our power [to redeem them]; for other men have our lands and
vineyards.
now <NEH5 -18> {Now} [that] which was prepared [for me] daily
[was]
one ox [and] six choice sheep; also fowls were prepared for me,
and
once in ten days store of all sorts of wine: yet for all this
required not I the bread of the governor, because the bon
dage was heavy upon this people.
now <NEH6 -1> {Now} it came to pass, when Sanballat, and Tobiah,
and
Geshem the Arabian, and the rest of our enemies, heard that I had
builded the wall, and [that] there was no breach left therein;
(though at that time I had not set up the doors upon the
gates;)
now <NEH6 -7> And thou hast also appointed prophets to preach of
thee at Jerusalem, saying, [There is] a king in Judah: and now
shall
it be reported to the king according to these words. Come {now}
therefore, and let us take counsel together.
now <NEH6 -7> And thou hast also appointed prophets to preach of
thee at Jerusalem, saying, [There is] a king in Judah: and {now}
shall it be reported to the king according to these words. Come
now
therefore, and let us take counsel together.
now <NEH6 -9> For they all made us afraid, saying, Their hands
shall
be weakened from the work, that it be not done. {Now} therefore,
[O
God], strengthen my hands.
now <NEH7 -1> {Now} it came to pass, when the wall was built,
and I
had set up the doors, and the porters and the singers and the
Levites were appointed,
now <NEH7 -4> {Now} the city [was] large and great: but the
people
[were] few therein, and the houses [were] not builded.
now <NEH9 -1> {Now} in the twenty and fourth day of this month
the
children of Israel were assembled with fasting, and with
sackclothes, and earth upon them.
now <NEH9 -32> {Now} therefore, our God, the great, the mighty,
and
the terrible God, who keepest covenant and mercy, let not all the
trouble seem little before thee, that hath come upon us, on our
kings, on our princes, and on our priests, and on our pro
phets, and on our fathers, and on all thy people, since the time
of
the kings of Assyria unto this day.
now <NEH10 -1> {Now} those that sealed [were], Nehemiah, the
Tirshatha, the son of Hachaliah, and Zidkijah,
now <NEH11 -3> {Now} these [are] the chief of the province that
dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in
his possession in their cities, [to wit], Israel, the priests,
and
the Levites, and the Nethinims, and the children of Solomo
n's servants.
now <NEH12 -1> {Now} these [are] the priests and the Levites that
went up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua:
Seraiah,
Jeremiah, Ezra,
now <NEH13 -3> {Now} it came to pass, when they had heard the
law,
that they separated from Israel all the mixed multitude.
now <EST1 -1> {Now} it came to pass in the days of Ahasuerus,
(this
[is] Ahasuerus which reigned, from India even unto Ethiopia,
[over]
an hundred and seven and twenty provinces:)
now <EST2 -5> {Now}] in Shushan the palace there was a certain
Jew,
whose name [was] Mordecai, the son of Jair, the son of Shimei,
the
son of Kish, a Benjamite;
now <EST2 -12> {Now} when every maid's turn was come to go in to
king Ahasuerus, after that she had been twelve months, according
to
the manner of the women, (for so were the days of their
purifications accomplished, [to wit], six months with oil of
myrrh
, and six months with sweet odours, and with [other] things for
the
purifying of the women;)
now <EST2 -15> {Now} when the turn of Esther, the daughter of
Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his
daughter,
was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what
Hegai
the king's chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointe
d. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that
looked
upon her.
now <EST3 -4> {Now} it came to pass, when they spake daily unto
him,
and he hearkened not unto them, that they told Haman, to see
whether
Mordecai's matters would stand: for he had told them that he
[was] a
Jew.
now <EST5 -1> {Now} it came to pass on the third day, that Esther
put on [her] royal [apparel], and stood in the inner court of the
king's house, over against the king's house: and the king sat
upon
his royal throne in the royal house, over against the ga
te of the house.
now <EST6 -4> And the king said, Who [is] in the court? {Now}
Haman
was come into the outward court of the king's house, to speak
unto
the king to hang Mordecai on the gallows that he had prepared for
him.
now <EST6 -6> So Haman came in. And the king said unto him, What
shall be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honour?
{Now}
Haman thought in his heart, To whom would the king delight to do
honour more than to myself?
now <EST9 -1> {Now} in the twelfth month, that [is], the month
Adar,
on the thirteenth day of the same, when the king's commandment
and
his decree drew near to be put in execution, in the day that the
enemies of the Jews hoped to have power over them, (th
ough it was turned to the contrary, that the Jews had rule over
them
that hated them;)
now <EST9 -12> And the king said unto Esther the queen, The Jews
have slain and destroyed five hundred men in Shushan the palace,
and
the ten sons of Haman; what have they done in the rest of the
king's
provinces? {now} what [is] thy petition? and it shal
l be granted thee: or what [is] thy request further? and it
shall be
done.
now <JOB1 -6> {Now} there was a day when the sons of God came to
present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among
them.
now <JOB1 -11> But put forth thine hand {now}, and touch all
that he
hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.
now <JOB2 -5> But put forth thine hand {now}, and touch his bone
and
his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.
now <JOB2 -11> {Now} when Job's three friends heard of all this
evil
that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place;
Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the
Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come
to mourn with him and to comfort him.
now <JOB3 -13> For {now} should I have lain still and been quiet,
I
should have slept: then had I been at rest,
now <JOB4 -5> But {now} it is come upon thee, and thou faintest;
it
toucheth thee, and thou art troubled.
now <JOB4 -12> {Now} a thing was secretly brought to me, and mine
ear received a little thereof.
now <JOB5 -1> Call {now}, if there be any that will answer thee;
and
to which of the saints wilt thou turn?
now <JOB6 -3> For {now} it would be heavier than the sand of the
sea: therefore my words are swallowed up.
now <JOB6 -21> For {now} ye are nothing; ye see [my] casting
down,
and are afraid.
now <JOB6 -28> {Now} therefore be content, look upon me; for [it
is]
evident unto you if I lie.
now <JOB7 -21> And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and
take away mine iniquity? for {now} shall I sleep in the dust; and
thou shalt seek me in the morning, but I [shall] not [be].
now <JOB8 -6> If thou [wert] pure and upright; surely {now} he
would
awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness
prosperous.
now <JOB9 -25> {Now} my days are swifter than a post: they flee
away, they see no good.
now <JOB12 -7> But ask {now} the beasts, and they shall teach
thee;
and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:
now <JOB13 -6> Hear {now} my reasoning, and hearken to the
pleadings
of my lips.
now <JOB13 -18> Behold {now}, I have ordered [my] cause; I know
that
I shall be justified.
now <JOB13 -19> Who [is] he [that] will plead with me? for {now},
if
I hold my tongue, I shall give up the ghost.
now <JOB14 -16> For {now} thou numberest my steps: dost thou not
watch over my sin?
now <JOB16 -7> But {now} he hath made me weary: thou hast made
desolate all my company.
now <JOB16 -19> Also {now}, behold, my witness [is] in heaven,
and
my record [is] on high.
now <JOB17 -3> Lay down {now}, put me in a surety with thee; who
[is] he [that] will strike hands with me?
now <JOB17 -10> But as for you all, do ye return, and come {now}:
for I cannot find [one] wise [man] among you.
now <JOB17 -15> And where [is] {now} my hope? as for my hope, who
shall see it?
now <JOB19 -6> Know {now} that God hath overthrown me, and hath
compassed me with his net.
now <JOB19 -23> Oh that my words were {now} written! oh that they
were printed in a book!
now <JOB22 -21> Acquaint {now} thyself with him, and be at peace:
thereby good shall come unto thee.
now <JOB24 -25> And if [it be] not [so] {now}, who will make me a
liar, and make my speech nothing worth?
now <JOB30 -1> But {now} [they that are] younger than I have me
in
derision, whose fathers I would have disdained to have set with
the
dogs of my flock.
now <JOB30 -9> And {now} am I their song, yea, I am their byword.
now <JOB30 -16> And {now} my soul is poured out upon me; the
days of
affliction have taken hold upon me.
now <JOB32 -4> {Now} Elihu had waited till Job had spoken,
because
they [were] elder than he.
now <JOB32 -14> {Now} he hath not directed [his] words against
me:
neither will I answer him with your speeches.
now <JOB33 -2> Behold, {now} I have opened my mouth, my tongue
hath
spoken in my mouth.
now <JOB34 -16> If {now} [thou hast] understanding, hear this:
hearken to the voice of my words.
now <JOB35 -15> But {now}, because [it is] not [so], he hath
visited
in his anger; yet he knoweth [it] not in great extremity:
now <JOB37 -21> And {now} [men] see not the bright light which
[is]
in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.
now <JOB38 -3> Gird up {now} thy loins like a man; for I will
demand
of thee, and answer thou me.
now <JOB40 -7> Gird up thy loins {now} like a man: I will demand
of
thee, and declare thou unto me.
now <JOB40 -10> Deck thyself {now} [with] majesty and excellency;
and array thyself with glory and beauty.
now <JOB40 -15> Behold {now} behemoth, which I made with thee; he
eateth grass as an ox.
now <JOB40 -16> Lo {now}, his strength [is] in his loins, and his
force [is] in the navel of his belly.
now <JOB42 -5> I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear:
but
{now} mine eye seeth thee.
now <JOB42 -8> Therefore take unto you {now} seven bullocks and
seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for
yourselves a
burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him
will
I accept: lest I deal with you [after your] folly, in t
hat ye have not spoken of me [the thing which is] right, like my
servant Job.
now <PSA2 -10> Be wise {now} therefore, O ye kings: be
instructed,
ye judges of the earth.
now <PSA12 -5> For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of
the needy, {now} will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set [him]
in
safety [from him that] puffeth at him.
now <PSA17 -11> They have {now} compassed us in our steps: they
have
set their eyes bowing down to the earth;
now <PSA20 -6> {Now} know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he
will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of
his
right hand.
now <PSA27 -6> And {now} shall mine head be lifted up above mine
enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle
sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the
LORD.
now <PSA37 -25> I have been young, and [{now}] am old; yet have I
not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
now <PSA39 -7> And {now}, Lord, what wait I for? my hope [is] in
thee.
now <PSA41 -8> An evil disease, [say they], cleaveth fast unto
him:
and [{now}] that he lieth he shall rise up no more.
now <PSA50 -22> {Now} consider this, ye that forget God, lest I
tear
[you] in pieces, and [there be] none to deliver.
now <PSA71 -18> {Now} also when I am old and greyheaded, O God,
forsake me not; until I have showed thy strength unto [this]
generation, [and] thy power to every one [that] is to come.
now <PSA74 -6> But {now} they break down the carved work thereof
at
once with axes and hammers.
now <PSA115 -2> Wherefore should the heathen say, Where [is]
{now}
their God?
now <PSA116 -14> I will pay my vows unto the LORD {now} in the
presence of all his people.
now <PSA116 -18> I will pay my vows unto the LORD {now} in the
presence of all his people,
now <PSA118 -2> Let Israel {now} say, that his mercy [endureth]
for
ever.
now <PSA118 -3> Let the house of Aaron {now} say, that his mercy
[endureth] for ever.
now <PSA118 -4> Let them {now} that fear the LORD say, that his
mercy [endureth] for ever.
now <PSA118 -25> Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I
beseech
thee, send {now} prosperity.
now <PSA118 -25> Save {now}, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I
beseech thee, send now prosperity.
now <PSA119 -67> Before I was afflicted I went astray: but {now}
have I kept thy word.
now <PSA122 -8> For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will
{now}
say, Peace [be] within thee.
now <PSA124 -1> A Song of degrees of David. If [it had not been]
the
LORD who was on our side, {now} may Israel say;
now <PSA129 -1> A Song of degrees. Many a time have they
afflicted
me from my youth, may Israel {now} say:
now <PRO5 -7> Hear me {now} therefore, O ye children, and depart
not
from the words of my mouth.
now <PRO6 -3> Do this {now}, my son, and deliver thyself, when
thou
art come into the hand of thy friend; go, humble thyself, and
make
sure thy friend.
now <PRO7 -12> Now [is she] without, {now} in the streets, and
lieth
in wait at every corner.)
now <PRO7 -12> {Now} [is she] without, now in the streets, and
lieth
in wait at every corner.)
now <PRO7 -24> Hearken unto me {now} therefore, O ye children,
and
attend to the words of my mouth.
now <PRO8 -32> {Now} therefore hearken unto me, O ye children:
for
blessed [are they that] keep my ways.
now <ECC2 -1> I said in mine heart, Go to {now}, I will prove
thee
with mirth, therefore enjoy pleasure: and, behold, this also [is]
vanity.
now <ECC2 -16> For [there is] no remembrance of the wise more
than
of the fool for ever; seeing that which {now} [is] in the days to
come shall all be forgotten. And how dieth the wise [man]? as the
fool.
now <ECC3 -15> That which hath been is {now}; and that which is
to
be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.
now <ECC9 -6> Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy,
is
{now} perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in
any
[thing] that is done under the sun.
now <ECC9 -7> Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy
wine
with a merry heart; for God {now} accepteth thy works.
now <ECC9 -15> {Now} there was found in it a poor wise man, and
he
by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same
poor man.
now <ECC12 -1> Remember {now} thy Creator in the days of thy
youth,
while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou
shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
now <SON3 -2> I will rise {now}, and go about the city in the
streets, and in the broad ways I will seek him whom my soul
loveth:
I sought him, but I found him not.
now <SON7 -8> I said, I will go up to the palm tree, I will take
hold of the boughs thereof: {now} also thy breasts shall be as
clusters of the vine, and the smell of thy nose like apples;
now <ISA1 -18> Come {now}, and let us reason together, saith the
LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as
snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
now <ISA1 -21> How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was
full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but {now}
murderers.
now <ISA5 -1> {Now} will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my
beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in
a
very fruitful hill:
now <ISA5 -3> And {now}, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of
Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard.
now <ISA5 -5> And {now} go to; I will tell you what I will do to
my
vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be
eaten
up; [and] break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden
down:
now <ISA7 -3> Then said the LORD unto Isaiah, Go forth {now} to
meet
Ahaz, thou, and Shearjashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of
the upper pool in the highway of the fuller's field;
now <ISA7 -13> And he said, Hear ye {now}, O house of David; [Is
it]
a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God
also?
now <ISA8 -7> {Now} therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon
them the waters of the river, strong and many, [even] the king of
Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his
channels, and go over all his banks:
now <ISA16 -14> But {now} the LORD hath spoken, saying, Within
three
years, as the years of an hireling, and the glory of Moab shall
be
contemned, with all that great multitude; and the remnant [shall
be]
very small [and] feeble.
now <ISA19 -12> Where [are] they? where [are] thy wise [men]? and
let them tell thee {now}, and let them know what the LORD of
hosts
hath purposed upon Egypt.
now <ISA22 -1> The burden of the valley of vision. What aileth
thee
{now}, that thou art wholly gone up to the housetops?
now <ISA28 -22> {Now} therefore be ye not mockers, lest your
bands
be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a
consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.
now <ISA29 -22> Therefore thus saith the LORD, who redeemed
Abraham,
concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed,
neither shall his face {now} wax pale.
now <ISA29 -22> Therefore thus saith the LORD, who redeemed
Abraham,
concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not {now} be ashamed,
neither shall his face now wax pale.
now <ISA30 -8> {Now} go, write it before them in a table, and
note
it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and
ever:
now <ISA31 -3> {Now} the Egyptians [are] men, and not God; and
their
horses flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD shall stretch out his
hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen
shall
fall down, and they all shall fail together.
now <ISA33 -10> {Now} will I rise, saith the LORD; now will I be
exalted; now will I lift up myself.
now <ISA33 -10> Now will I rise, saith the LORD; {now} will I be
exalted; now will I lift up myself.
now <ISA33 -10> Now will I rise, saith the LORD; now will I be
exalted; {now} will I lift up myself.
now <ISA36 -1> {Now} it came to pass in the fourteenth year of
king
Hezekiah, [that] Sennacherib king of Assyria came up against all
the
defenced cities of Judah, and took them.
now <ISA36 -4> And Rabshakeh said unto them, Say ye {now} to
Hezekiah, Thus saith the great king, the king of Assyria, What
confidence [is] this wherein thou trustest?
now <ISA36 -5> I say, [sayest thou], (but [they are but] vain
words)
[I have] counsel and strength for war: {now} on whom dost thou
trust, that thou rebellest against me?
now <ISA36 -8> {Now} therefore give pledges, I pray thee, to my
master the king of Assyria, and I will give thee two thousand
horses, if thou be able on thy part to set riders upon them.
now <ISA36 -10> And am I {now} come up without the LORD against
this
land to destroy it? the LORD said unto me, Go up against this
land,
and destroy it.
now <ISA37 -20> {Now} therefore, O LORD our God, save us from his
hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou [art]
the LORD, [even] thou only.
now <ISA37 -26> Hast thou not heard long ago, [how] I have done
it;
[and] of ancient times, that I have formed it? {now} have I
brought
it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste defenced cities
[into] ruinous heaps.
now <ISA38 -3> And said, Remember {now}, O LORD, I beseech thee,
how
I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and
have done [that which is] good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept
sore.
now <ISA42 -14> I have long time holden my peace; I have been
still,
[and] refrained myself: [{now}] will I cry like a travailing
woman;
I will destroy and devour at once.
now <ISA43 -1> But {now} thus saith the LORD that created thee, O
Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have
redeemed thee, I have called [thee] by thy name; thou [art] mine.
now <ISA43 -19> Behold, I will do a new thing; {now} it shall
spring
forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the
wilderness, [and] rivers in the desert.
now <ISA44 -1> Yet {now} hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel,
whom
I have chosen:
now <ISA47 -8> Therefore hear {now} this, [thou that art] given
to
pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart,
I
[am], and none else beside me; I shall not sit [as] a widow,
neither
shall I know the loss of children:
now <ISA47 -12> Stand {now} with thine enchantments, and with the
multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast laboured from thy
youth; if so be thou shalt be able to profit, if so be thou
mayest
prevail.
now <ISA47 -13> Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy
counsels.
Let {now} the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly
prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from [these things] that
shall come upon thee.
now <ISA48 -7> They are created {now}, and not from the
beginning;
even before the day when thou heardest them not; lest thou
shouldest
say, Behold, I knew them.
now <ISA48 -16> Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not
spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was,
there [am] I: and {now} the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent
me.
now <ISA49 -5> And {now}, saith the LORD that formed me from the
womb [to be] his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though
Israel
be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD,
and my God shall be my strength.
now <ISA49 -19> For thy waste and thy desolate places, and the
land
of thy destruction, shall even {now} be too narrow by reason of
the
inhabitants, and they that swallowed thee up shall be far away.
now <ISA51 -21> Therefore hear {now} this, thou afflicted, and
drunken, but not with wine:
now <ISA52 -5> {Now} therefore, what have I here, saith the LORD,
that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them
make them to howl, saith the LORD; and my name continually every
day
[is] blasphemed.
now <ISA64 -8> But {now}, O LORD, thou [art] our father; we [are]
the clay, and thou our potter; and we all [are] the work of thy
hand.
now <JER2 -18> And {now} what hast thou to do in the way of
Egypt,
to drink the waters of Sihor? or what hast thou to do in the way
of
Assyria, to drink the waters of the river?
now <JER4 -12> Even] a full wind from those [places] shall come
unto
me: {now} also will I give sentence against them.
now <JER4 -31> For I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail,
[and] the anguish as of her that bringeth forth her first child,
the
voice of the daughter of Zion, [that] bewaileth herself, [that]
spreadeth her hands, [saying], Woe [is] me {now}! for my
soul is wearied because of murderers.
now <JER5 -1> Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem,
and see {now}, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof,
if ye
can find a man, if there be [any] that executeth judgment, that
seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it.
now <JER5 -21> Hear {now} this, O foolish people, and without
understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and
hear not:
now <JER5 -24> Neither say they in their heart, Let us {now} fear
the LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the
latter,
in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the
harvest.
now <JER7 -12> But go ye {now} unto my place which [was] in
Shiloh,
where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for
the
wickedness of my people Israel.
now <JER7 -13> And {now}, because ye have done all these works,
saith the LORD, and I spake unto you, rising up early and
speaking,
but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not;
now <JER14 -10> Thus saith the LORD unto this people, Thus have
they
loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet, therefore
the
LORD doth not accept them; he will {now} remember their iniquity,
and visit their sins.
now <JER17 -15> Behold, they say unto me, Where [is] the word of
the
LORD? let it come {now}.
now <JER18 -11> Now therefore go to, speak to the men of Judah,
and
to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD;
Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a device against
you:
return ye {now} every one from his evil way, and make your
ways and your doings good.
now <JER18 -11> {Now} therefore go to, speak to the men of Judah,
and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD;
Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a device against
you:
return ye now every one from his evil way, and make your
ways and your doings good.
now <JER18 -13> Therefore thus saith the LORD; Ask ye {now} among
the heathen, who hath heard such things: the virgin of Israel
hath
done a very horrible thing.
now <JER20 -1> {Now} Pashur the son of Immer the priest, who
[was]
also chief governor in the house of the LORD, heard that Jeremiah
prophesied these things.
now <JER25 -5> They said, Turn ye again {now} every one from his
evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land
that the LORD hath given unto you and to your fathers for ever
and
ever:
now <JER26 -8> {Now} it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an
end
of speaking all that the LORD had commanded [him] to speak unto
all
the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people
took him, saying, Thou shalt surely die.
now <JER26 -13> Therefore {now} amend your ways and your doings,
and
obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will repent
him of
the evil that he hath pronounced against you.
now <JER27 -6> And {now} have I given all these lands into the
hand
of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the
beasts of
the field have I given him also to serve him.
now <JER27 -16> Also I spake to the priests and to all this
people,
saying, Thus saith the LORD; Hearken not to the words of your
prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of
the
LORD'S house shall {now} shortly be brought again from Ba
bylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.
now <JER27 -18> But if they [be] prophets, and if the word of the
LORD be with them, let them {now} make intercession to the LORD
of
hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the LORD,
and
[in] the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem
, go not to Babylon.
now <JER28 -7> Nevertheless hear thou {now} this word that I
speak
in thine ears, and in the ears of all the people;
now <JER28 -15> Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the
prophet, Hear {now}, Hananiah; The LORD hath not sent thee; but
thou
makest this people to trust in a lie.
now <JER29 -1> {Now} these [are] the words of the letter that
Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem unto the residue of the
elders which were carried away captives, and to the priests, and
to
the prophets, and to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had
carried away captive from Jerusalem to Babylon;
now <JER29 -27> {Now} therefore why hast thou not reproved
Jeremiah
of Anathoth, which maketh himself a prophet to you?
now <JER30 -6> Ask ye {now}, and see whether a man doth travail
with
child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins,
as
a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?
now <JER32 -16> {Now} when I had delivered the evidence of the
purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed unto the LORD,
saying,
now <JER32 -36> And {now} therefore thus saith the LORD, the God
of
Israel, concerning this city, whereof ye say, It shall be
delivered
into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the
famine, and by the pestilence;
now <JER34 -10> {Now} when all the princes, and all the people,
which had entered into the covenant, heard that every one should
let
his manservant, and every one his maidservant, go free, that none
should serve themselves of them any more, then they obey
ed, and let [them] go.
now <JER34 -15> And ye were {now} turned, and had done right in
my
sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour; and ye
had
made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my
name:
now <JER35 -15> I have sent also unto you all my servants the
prophets, rising up early and sending [them], saying, Return ye
{now} every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go
not
after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the la
nd which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not
inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me.
now <JER36 -15> And they said unto him, Sit down {now}, and read
it
in our ears. So Baruch read [it] in their ears.
now <JER36 -16> {Now} it came to pass, when they had heard all
the
words, they were afraid both one and other, and said unto Baruch,
We
will surely tell the king of all these words.
now <JER36 -17> And they asked Baruch, saying, Tell us {now}, How
didst thou write all these words at his mouth?
now <JER36 -22> {Now} the king sat in the winterhouse in the
ninth
month: and [there was a fire] on the hearth burning before him.
now <JER37 -3> And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of
Shelemiah and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest to the
prophet Jeremiah, saying, Pray {now} unto the LORD our God for
us.
now <JER37 -4> {Now} Jeremiah came in and went out among the
people:
for they had not put him into prison.
now <JER37 -19> Where [are] {now} your prophets which prophesied
unto you, saying, The king of Babylon shall not come against you,
nor against this land?
now <JER37 -20> Therefore hear {now}, I pray thee, O my lord the
king: let my supplication, I pray thee, be accepted before thee;
that thou cause me not to return to the house of Jonathan the
scribe, lest I die there.
now <JER38 -7> {Now} when Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, one of the
eunuchs which was in the king's house, heard that they had put
Jeremiah in the dungeon; the king then sitting in the gate of
Benjamin;
now <JER38 -12> And Ebedmelech the Ethiopian said unto Jeremiah,
Put
{now} [these] old cast clouts and rotten rags under thine
armholes
under the cords. And Jeremiah did so.
now <JER38 -25> But if the princes hear that I have talked with
thee, and they come unto thee, and say unto thee, Declare unto us
{now} what thou hast said unto the king, hide it not from us,
and we
will not put thee to death; also what the king said unto
thee:
now <JER39 -11> {Now} Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon gave charge
concerning Jeremiah to Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard,
saying,
now <JER39 -15> {Now} the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah,
while
he was shut up in the court of the prison, saying,
now <JER40 -3> {Now} the LORD hath brought [it], and done
according
as he hath said: because ye have sinned against the LORD, and
have
not obeyed his voice, therefore this thing is come upon you.
now <JER40 -4> And {now}, behold, I loose thee this day from the
chains which [were] upon thine hand. If it seem good unto thee to
come with me into Babylon, come; and I will look well unto thee:
but
if it seem ill unto thee to come with me into Babylon,
forbear: behold, all the land [is] before thee: whither it
seemeth
good and convenient for thee to go, thither go.
now <JER40 -5> {Now} while he was not yet gone back, [he said],
Go
back also to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, whom
the
king of Babylon hath made governor over the cities of Judah, and
dwell with him among the people: or go wheresoever it
seemeth convenient unto thee to go. So the captain of the guard
gave
him victuals and a reward, and let him go.
now <JER40 -7> {Now} when all the captains of the forces which
[were] in the fields, [even] they and their men, heard that the
king
of Babylon had made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the
land,
and had committed unto him men, and women, and childre
n, and of the poor of the land, of them that were not carried
away
captive to Babylon;
now <JER41 -1> {Now} it came to pass in the seventh month, [that]
Ishmael the son of Nethaniah the son of Elishama, of the seed
royal,
and the princes of the king, even ten men with him, came unto
Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah; and there they did e
at bread together in Mizpah.
now <JER41 -9> {Now} the pit wherein Ishmael had cast all the
dead
bodies of the men, whom he had slain because of Gedaliah, [was]
it
which Asa the king had made for fear of Baasha king of Israel:
[and]
Ishmael the son of Nethaniah filled it with [them th
at were] slain.
now <JER41 -13> {Now} it came to pass, [that] when all the people
which [were] with Ishmael saw Johanan the son of Kareah, and all
the
captains of the forces that [were] with him, then they were glad.
now <JER42 -15> And {now} therefore hear the word of the LORD, ye
remnant of Judah; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel;
If ye wholly set your faces to enter into Egypt, and go to
sojourn
there;
now <JER42 -21> And [{now}] I have this day declared [it] to you;
but ye have not obeyed the voice of the LORD your God, nor any
[thing] for the which he hath sent me unto you.
now <JER42 -22> {Now} therefore know certainly that ye shall die
by
the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, in the place
whither ye desire to go [and] to sojourn.
now <JER44 -7> Therefore {now} thus saith the LORD, the God of
hosts, the God of Israel; Wherefore commit ye [this] great evil
against your souls, to cut off from you man and woman, child and
suckling, out of Judah, to leave you none to remain;
now <JER45 -3> Thou didst say, Woe is me {now}! for the LORD hath
added grief to my sorrow; I fainted in my sighing, and I find no
rest.
now <JER52 -7> Then the city was broken up, and all the men of
war
fled, and went forth out of the city by night by the way of the
gate
between the two walls, which [was] by the king's garden; ({now}
the
Chaldeans [were] by the city round about:) and they
went by the way of the plain.
now <JER52 -12> {Now} in the fifth month, in the tenth [day] of
the
month, which [was] the nineteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar king of
Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, [which] served
the
king of Babylon, into Jerusalem,
now <EZE1 -1> {Now} it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the
fourth [month], in the fifth [day] of the month, as I [was] among
the captives by the river of Chebar, [that] the heavens were
opened,
and I saw visions of God.
now <EZE1 -15> {Now} as I beheld the living creatures, behold one
wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four
faces.
now <EZE4 -14> Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not
been polluted: for from my youth up even till {now} have I not
eaten
of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came
there abominable flesh into my mouth.
now <EZE7 -3> {Now} [is] the end [come] upon thee, and I will
send
mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways,
and
will recompense upon thee all thine abominations.
now <EZE7 -8> {Now} will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee,
and
accomplish mine anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according
to
thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations.
now <EZE8 -5> Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine
eyes
{now} the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way
toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar
this
image of jealousy in the entry.
now <EZE8 -8> Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig {now} in the
wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door.
now <EZE10 -3> {Now} the cherubims stood on the right side of the
house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner
court.
now <EZE16 -8> {Now} when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee,
behold, thy time [was] the time of love; and I spread my skirt
over
thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and
entered
into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and t
hou becamest mine.
now <EZE17 -12> Say {now} to the rebellious house, Know ye not
what
these [things mean]? tell [them], Behold, the king of Babylon is
come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof, and the
princes
thereof, and led them with him to Babylon;
now <EZE18 -14> {Now}, lo, [if] he beget a son, that seeth all
his
father's sins which he hath done, and considereth, and doeth not
such like,
now <EZE18 -25> Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal.
Hear
{now}, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways
unequal?
now <EZE19 -5> {Now} when she saw that she had waited, [and] her
hope was lost, then she took another of her whelps, [and] made
him a
young lion.
now <EZE19 -13> And {now} she [is] planted in the wilderness, in
a
dry and thirsty ground.
now <EZE22 -2> {Now}, thou son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou
judge the bloody city? yea, thou shalt show her all her
abominations.
now <EZE23 -43> Then said I unto [her that was] old in
adulteries,
Will they {now} commit whoredoms with her, and she [with them]?
now <EZE26 -2> Son of man, because that Tyrus hath said against
Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken [that was] the gates of the people:
she is turned unto me: I shall be replenished, [{now}] she is
laid
waste:
now <EZE26 -18> {Now} shall the isles tremble in the day of thy
fall; yea, the isles that [are] in the sea shall be troubled at
thy
departure.
now <EZE27 -2> {Now}, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for
Tyrus;
now <EZE33 -22> {Now} the hand of the LORD was upon me in the
evening, afore he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth,
until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and
I
was no more dumb.
now <EZE38 -12> To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn
thine
hand upon the desolate places [that are {now}] inhabited, and
upon
the people [that are] gathered out of the nations, which have
gotten
cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the lan
d.
now <EZE39 -25> Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; {Now} will I
bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole
house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;
now <EZE41 -12> {Now} the building that [was] before the separate
place at the end toward the west [was] seventy cubits broad; and
the
wall of the building [was] five cubits thick round about, and the
length thereof ninety cubits.
now <EZE42 -5> {Now} the upper chambers [were] shorter: for the
galleries were higher than these, than the lower, and than the
middlemost of the building.
now <EZE42 -15> {Now} when he had made an end of measuring the
inner
house, he brought me forth toward the gate whose prospect [is]
toward the east, and measured it round about.
now <EZE43 -9> {Now} let them put away their whoredom, and the
carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the
midst
of them for ever.
now <EZE46 -12> {Now} when the prince shall prepare a voluntary
burnt offering or peace offerings voluntarily unto the LORD,
[one]
shall then open him the gate that looketh toward the east, and he
shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings,
as he did on the sabbath day: then he shall go forth; and after
his
going forth [one] shall shut the gate.
now <EZE47 -7> {Now} when I had returned, behold, at the bank of
the
river [were] very many trees on the one side and on the other.
now <EZE48 -1> {Now} these [are] the names of the tribes. From
the
north end to the coast of the way of Hethlon, as one goeth to
Hamath, Hazarenan, the border of Damascus northward, to the
coast of
Hamath; for these are his sides east [and] west; a [porti
on for] Dan.
now <DAN1 -6> {Now} among these were of the children of Judah,
Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah:
now <DAN1 -9> {Now} God had brought Daniel into favour and tender
love with the prince of the eunuchs.
now <DAN1 -18> {Now} at the end of the days that the king had
said
he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought
them
in before Nebuchadnezzar.
now <DAN2 -23> I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my
fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known
unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast [{now}] made
known unto us the king's matter.
now <DAN2 -23> I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my
fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known
unto me {now} what we desired of thee: for thou hast [now] made
known unto us the king's matter.
now <DAN3 -15> {Now} if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the
sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and
dulcimer,
and all kinds of music, ye fall down and worship the image which
I
have made; [well]: but if ye worship not, ye shall be c
ast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and
who
[is] that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?
now <DAN4 -18> This dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen. {Now}
thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation thereof,
forasmuch
as all the wise [men] of my kingdom are not able to make known
unto
me the interpretation: but thou [art] able; for the sp
irit of the holy gods [is] in thee.
now <DAN4 -37> {Now} I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour
the King of heaven, all whose works [are] truth, and his ways
judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
now <DAN5 -10> {Now}] the queen by reason of the words of the
king
and his lords came into the banquet house: [and] the queen spake
and
said, O king, live for ever: let not thy thoughts trouble thee,
nor
let thy countenance be changed:
now <DAN5 -12> Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge,
and
understanding, interpreting of dreams, and showing of hard
sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same
Daniel,
whom the king named Belteshazzar: {now} let Daniel be called
, and he will show the interpretation.
now <DAN5 -15> And {now} the wise [men], the astrologers, have
been
brought in before me, that they should read this writing, and
make
known unto me the interpretation thereof: but they could not show
the interpretation of the thing:
now <DAN5 -16> And I have heard of thee, that thou canst make
interpretations, and dissolve doubts: {now} if thou canst read
the
writing, and make known to me the interpretation thereof, thou
shalt
be clothed with scarlet, and [have] a chain of gold about
thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom.
now <DAN6 -8> {Now}, O king, establish the decree, and sign the
writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the
Medes
and Persians, which altereth not.
now <DAN6 -10> {Now} when Daniel knew that the writing was
signed,
he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber
toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day,
and
prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did afore
time.
now <DAN6 -16> Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel,
and
cast [him] into the den of lions. [{Now}] the king spake and said
unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will
deliver
thee.
now <DAN8 -18> {Now} as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep
sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me
upright.
now <DAN8 -22> {Now} that being broken, whereas four stood up for
it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in
his
power.
now <DAN9 -15> And {now}, O Lord our God, that hast brought thy
people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and
hast
gotten thee renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done
wickedly.
now <DAN9 -17> {Now} therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy
servant, and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon
thy
sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake.
now <DAN9 -22> And he informed [me], and talked with me, and
said, O
Daniel, I am {now} come forth to give thee skill and
understanding.
now <DAN10 -11> And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly
beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand
upright: for unto thee am I {now} sent. And when he had spoken
this
word unto me, I stood trembling.
now <DAN10 -14> {Now} I am come to make thee understand what
shall
befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision [is] for
[many] days.
now <DAN10 -20> Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto
thee? and {now} will I return to fight with the prince of Persia:
and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.
now <DAN11 -2> And {now} will I show thee the truth. Behold,
there
shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be
far richer than [they] all: and by his strength through his
riches
he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.
now <DAN11 -34> {Now} when they shall fall, they shall be holpen
with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with
flatteries.
now <HOS1 -8> {Now} when she had weaned Loruhamah, she conceived,
and bare a son.
now <HOS2 -7> And she shall follow after her lovers, but she
shall
not overtake them; and she shall seek them, but shall not find
[them]: then shall she say, I will go and return to my first
husband; for then [was it] better with me than {now}.
now <HOS2 -10> And {now} will I discover her lewdness in the
sight
of her lovers, and none shall deliver her out of mine hand.
now <HOS4 -16> For Israel slideth back as a backsliding heifer:
{now} the LORD will feed them as a lamb in a large place.
now <HOS5 -3> I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for
{now}, O Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, [and] Israel is
defiled.
now <HOS5 -7> They have dealt treacherously against the LORD: for
they have begotten strange children: {now} shall a month devour
them
with their portions.
now <HOS7 -2> And they consider not in their hearts [that] I
remember all their wickedness: {now} their own doings have beset
them about; they are before my face.
now <HOS8 -8> Israel is swallowed up: {now} shall they be among
the
Gentiles as a vessel wherein [is] no pleasure.
now <HOS8 -10> Yea, though they have hired among the nations,
{now}
will I gather them, and they shall sorrow a little for the
burden of
the king of princes.
now <HOS8 -13> They sacrifice flesh [for] the sacrifices of mine
offerings, and eat [it; but] the LORD accepteth them not; {now}
will
he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins: they shall
return
to Egypt.
now <HOS10 -2> Their heart is divided; {now} shall they be found
faulty: he shall break down their altars, he shall spoil their
images.
now <HOS10 -3> For {now} they shall say, We have no king,
because we
feared not the LORD; what then should a king do to us?
now <HOS13 -2> And {now} they sin more and more, and have made
them
molten images of their silver, [and] idols according to their own
understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen: they say of
them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.
now <JOE2 -12> Therefore also {now}, saith the LORD, turn ye
[even]
to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping,
and
with mourning:
now <AMO6 -7> Therefore {now} shall they go captive with the
first
that go captive, and the banquet of them that stretched
themselves
shall be removed.
now <AMO7 -16> {Now} therefore hear thou the word of the LORD:
Thou
sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not [thy word]
against
the house of Isaac.
now <JON1 -1> {Now} the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son
of
Amittai, saying,
now <JON1 -17> {Now} the LORD had prepared a great fish to
swallow
up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and
three nights.
now <JON3 -3> So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to
the word of the LORD. {Now} Nineveh was an exceeding great city
of
three days' journey.
now <JON4 -3> Therefore {now}, O LORD, take, I beseech thee, my
life
from me; for [it is] better for me to die than to live.
now <MIC4 -9> {Now} why dost thou cry out aloud? [is there] no
king
in thee? is thy counsellor perished? for pangs have taken thee
as a
woman in travail.
now <MIC4 -10> Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter
of
Zion, like a woman in travail: for {now} shalt thou go forth out
of
the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go
[even] to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there
the LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.
now <MIC4 -11> {Now} also many nations are gathered against thee,
that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion.
now <MIC5 -1> {Now} gather thyself in troops, O daughter of
troops:
he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of
Israel
with a rod upon the cheek.
now <MIC5 -4> And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the
LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they
shall
abide: for {now} shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.
now <MIC6 -1> Hear ye {now} what the LORD saith; Arise, contend
thou
before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice.
now <MIC6 -5> O my people, remember {now} what Balak king of Moab
consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from
Shittim
unto Gilgal; that ye may know the righteousness of the LORD.
now <MIC7 -4> The best of them [is] as a brier: the most upright
[is
sharper] than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen [and] thy
visitation cometh; {now} shall be their perplexity.
now <MIC7 -10> Then [she that is] mine enemy shall see [it], and
shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the LORD thy
God?
mine eyes shall behold her: {now} shall she be trodden down as
the
mire of the streets.
now <NAH1 -13> For {now} will I break his yoke from off thee, and
will burst thy bonds in sunder.
now <HAG1 -5> {Now} therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts;
Consider
your ways.
now <HAG2 -2> Speak {now} to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel,
governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high
priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,
now <HAG2 -3> Who [is] left among you that saw this house in her
first glory? and how do ye see it {now}? [is it] not in your
eyes in
comparison of it as nothing?
now <HAG2 -4> Yet {now} be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD;
and
be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be
strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for
I
[am] with you, saith the LORD of hosts:
now <HAG2 -11> Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ask {now} the
priests
[concerning] the law, saying,
now <HAG2 -15> And {now}, I pray you, consider from this day and
upward, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple
of
the LORD:
now <HAG2 -18> Consider {now} from this day and upward, from the
four and twentieth day of the ninth [month, even] from the day
that
the foundation of the LORD'S temple was laid, consider [it].
now <ZEC1 -4> Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former
prophets have cried, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn
ye
{now} from your evil ways, and [from] your evil doings: but they
did
not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith the LORD.
now <ZEC3 -3> {Now} Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and
stood before the angel.
now <ZEC3 -8> Hear {now}, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy
fellows that sit before thee: for they [are] men wondered at:
for,
behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.
now <ZEC5 -5> Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and
said unto me, Lift up {now} thine eyes, and see what [is] this
that
goeth forth.
now <ZEC8 -11> But {now} I [will] not [be] unto the residue of
this
people as in the former days, saith the LORD of hosts.
now <ZEC9 -8> And I will encamp about mine house because of the
army, because of him that passeth by, and because of him that
returneth: and no oppressor shall pass through them any more: for
{now} have I seen with mine eyes.
now <MAL1 -8> And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, [is it]
not
evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, [is it] not evil? offer
it
{now} unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept
thy
person? saith the LORD of hosts.
now <MAL1 -9> And {now}, I pray you, beseech God that he will be
gracious unto us: this hath been by your means: will he regard
your
persons? saith the LORD of hosts.
now <MAL2 -1> And {now}, O ye priests, this commandment [is] for
you.
now <MAL3 -10> Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that
there may be meat in mine house, and prove me {now} herewith,
saith
the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven,
and
pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be r
oom] enough [to receive it].
now <MAL3 -15> And {now} we call the proud happy; yea, they that
work wickedness are set up; yea, [they that] tempt God are even
delivered.
now <MAT1 -18> {Now} the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise:
When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came
together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
now <MAT1 -22> {Now} all this was done, that it might be
fulfilled
which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
now <MAT2 -1> {Now} when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in
the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the
east to Jerusalem,
now <MAT3 -10> And {now} also the ax is laid unto the root of the
trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit
is
hewn down, and cast into the fire.
now <MAT3 -15> And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer [it to
be
so] {now}: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness.
Then
he suffered him.
now <MAT4 -12> {Now} when Jesus had heard that John was cast into
prison, he departed into Galilee;
now <MAT8 -18> {Now} when Jesus saw great multitudes about him,
he
gave commandment to depart unto the other side.
now <MAT9 -18> While he spake these things unto them, behold,
there
came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is
even {now} dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she
shall
live.
now <MAT10 -2> {Now} the names of the twelve apostles are these;
The
first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James
[the son] of Zebedee, and John his brother;
now <MAT11 -2> {Now} when John had heard in the prison the works
of
Christ, he sent two of his disciples,
now <MAT11 -12> And from the days of John the Baptist until {now}
the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take
it by
force.
now <MAT14 -15> And when it was evening, his disciples came to
him,
saying, This is a desert place, and the time is {now} past; send
the
multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy
themselves victuals.
now <MAT14 -24> But the ship was {now} in the midst of the sea,
tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.
now <MAT15 -32> Then Jesus called his disciples [unto him], and
said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue
with
me {now} three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send
them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.
now <MAT21 -18> {Now} in the morning as he returned into the
city,
he hungered.
now <MAT22 -25> {Now} there were with us seven brethren: and the
first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no
issue,
left his wife unto his brother:
now <MAT24 -32> {Now} learn a parable of the fig tree; When his
branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that
summer
[is] nigh:
now <MAT26 -6> {Now} when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of
Simon the leper,
now <MAT26 -17> {Now} the first [day] of the [feast of]
unleavened
bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt
thou
that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?
now <MAT26 -20> {Now} when the even was come, he sat down with
the
twelve.
now <MAT26 -45> Then cometh he to his disciples, and saith unto
them, Sleep on {now}, and take [your] rest: behold, the hour is
at
hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
now <MAT26 -48> {Now} he that betrayed him gave them a sign,
saying,
Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast.
now <MAT26 -53> Thinkest thou that I cannot {now} pray to my
Father,
and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of
angels?
now <MAT26 -59> {Now} the chief priests, and elders, and all the
council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;
now <MAT26 -65> Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He
hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses?
behold, {now} ye have heard his blasphemy.
now <MAT26 -69> {Now} Peter sat without in the palace: and a
damsel
came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee.
now <MAT27 -15> {Now} at [that] feast the governor was wont to
release unto the people a prisoner, whom they would.
now <MAT27 -42> He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be
the King of Israel, let him {now} come down from the cross, and
we
will believe him.
now <MAT27 -43> He trusted in God; let him deliver him {now}, if
he
will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.
now <MAT27 -45> {Now} from the sixth hour there was darkness over
all the land unto the ninth hour.
now <MAT27 -54> {Now} when the centurion, and they that were with
him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that
were
done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.
now <MAT27 -62> {Now} the next day, that followed the day of the
preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto
Pilate,
now <MAT28 -11> {Now} when they were going, behold, some of the
watch came into the city, and showed unto the chief priests all
the
things that were done.
now <MAR1 -14> {Now} after that John was put in prison, Jesus
came
into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
now <MAR1 -16> {Now} as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw
Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they
were fishers.
now <MAR4 -37> And there arose a great storm of wind, and the
waves
beat into the ship, so that it was {now} full.
now <MAR5 -11> {Now} there was there nigh unto the mountains a
great
herd of swine feeding.
now <MAR6 -35> And when the day was {now} far spent, his
disciples
came unto him, and said, This is a desert place, and now the time
is] far passed:
now <MAR6 -35> And when the day was now far spent, his disciples
came unto him, and said, This is a desert place, and {now} the
time
is] far passed:
now <MAR8 -2> I have compassion on the multitude, because they
have
{now} been with me three days, and have nothing to eat:
now <MAR8 -14> {Now} the disciples] had forgotten to take bread,
neither had they in the ship with them more than one loaf.
now <MAR10 -30> But he shall receive an hundredfold {now} in this
time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and
children,
and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal
life.
now <MAR11 -11> And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the
temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and
{now} the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the
twelve.
now <MAR12 -20> {Now} there were seven brethren: and the first
took
a wife, and dying left no seed.
now <MAR13 -12> {Now} the brother shall betray the brother to
death,
and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their]
parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
now <MAR13 -28> {Now} learn a parable of the fig tree; When her
branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that
summer
is near:
now <MAR14 -41> And he cometh the third time, and saith unto
them,
Sleep on {now}, and take your] rest: it is enough, the hour is
come;
behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
now <MAR15 -6> {Now} at that] feast he released unto them one
prisoner, whomsoever they desired.
now <MAR15 -32> Let Christ the King of Israel descend {now} from
the
cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified
with him reviled him.
now <MAR15 -42> And {now} when the even was come, because it was
the
preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath,
now <MAR16 -9> {Now} when Jesus] was risen early the first day]
of
the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had
cast seven devils.
now <LUK1 -7> And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was
barren, and they both were {now}] well stricken in years.
now <LUK1 -57> {Now} Elisabeth's full time came that she should
be
delivered; and she brought forth a son.
now <LUK2 -15> And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away
from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us
{now} go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to
pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.
now <LUK2 -29> Lord, {now} lettest thou thy servant depart in
peace,
according to thy word:
now <LUK2 -41> {Now} his parents went to Jerusalem every year at
the
feast of the passover.
now <LUK3 -1> {Now} in the fifteenth year of the reign of
Tiberius
Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judaea, and Herod being
tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of Ituraea
and
of the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias the tetrarch
of Abilene,
now <LUK3 -9> And {now} also the ax is laid unto the root of the
trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit
is
hewn down, and cast into the fire.
now <LUK3 -21> {Now} when all the people were baptized, it came
to
pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was
opened,
now <LUK4 -40> {Now} when the sun was setting, all they that had
any
sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his
hands on every one of them, and healed them.
now <LUK5 -4> {Now} when he had left speaking, he said unto
Simon,
Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
now <LUK6 -21> Blessed are ye] that hunger {now}: for ye shall be
filled. Blessed are ye] that weep now: for ye shall laugh.
now <LUK6 -21> Blessed are ye] that hunger now: for ye shall be
filled. Blessed are ye] that weep {now}: for ye shall laugh.
now <LUK6 -25> Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger.
Woe
unto you that laugh {now}! for ye shall mourn and weep.
now <LUK7 -1> {Now} when he had ended all his sayings in the
audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum.
now <LUK7 -6> Then Jesus went with them. And when he was {now}
not
far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying
unto
him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou
shouldest enter under my roof:
now <LUK7 -12> {Now} when he came nigh to the gate of the city,
behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his
mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with
her.
now <LUK7 -39> {Now} when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw
it],
he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet,
would have known who and what manner of woman this is] that
toucheth
him: for she is a sinner.
now <LUK8 -11> {Now} the parable is this: The seed is the word of
God.
now <LUK8 -22> {Now} it came to pass on a certain day, that he
went
into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go
over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.
now <LUK8 -38> {Now} the man out of whom the devils were departed
besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away,
saying,
now <LUK9 -7> {Now} Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was
done by
him: and he was perplexed, because that it was said of some, that
John was risen from the dead;
now <LUK10 -36> Which {now} of these three, thinkest thou, was
neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
now <LUK10 -38> {Now} it came to pass, as they went, that he
entered
into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received
him into her house.
now <LUK11 -7> And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble
me
not: the door is {now} shut, and my children are with me in bed;
I
cannot rise and give thee.
now <LUK11 -39> And the Lord said unto him, {Now} do ye Pharisees
make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your
inward
part is full of ravening and wickedness.
now <LUK14 -17> And sent his servant at supper time to say to
them
that were bidden, Come; for all things are {now} ready.
now <LUK15 -25> {Now} his elder son was in the field: and as he
came
and drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing.
now <LUK16 -25> But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy
lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil
things: but {now} he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
now <LUK18 -22> {Now} when Jesus heard these things, he said unto
him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and
distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven:
and come, follow me.
now <LUK19 -37> And when he was come nigh, even {now} at the
descent
of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples
began
to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty
works
that they had seen;
now <LUK19 -42> Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least
in
this thy day, the things which belong] unto thy peace! but {now}
they are hid from thine eyes.
now <LUK20 -37> {Now} that the dead are raised, even Moses
showed at
the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the
God
of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
now <LUK21 -30> When they {now} shoot forth, ye see and know of
your
own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
now <LUK21 -30> When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of
your
own selves that summer is {now} nigh at hand.
now <LUK22 -1> {Now} the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh,
which
is called the Passover.
now <LUK22 -36> Then said he unto them, But {now}, he that hath a
purse, let him take it], and likewise his] scrip: and he that
hath
no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
now <LUK23 -47> {Now} when the centurion saw what was done, he
glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.
now <LUK24 -1> {Now} upon the first day] of the week, very early
in
the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices
which
they had prepared, and certain others] with them.
now <JOH1 -44> {Now} Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew
and
Peter.
now <JOH2 -8> And he saith unto them, Draw out {now}, and bear
unto
the governor of the feast. And they bare it].
now <JOH2 -10> And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning
doth
set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that
which
is worse: but] thou hast kept the good wine until {now}.
now <JOH2 -23> {Now} when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in
the feast day], many believed in his name, when they saw the
miracles which he did.
now <JOH4 -6> {Now} Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore,
being
wearied with his] journey, sat thus on the well: and] it was
about
the sixth hour.
now <JOH4 -18> For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou
{now} hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
now <JOH4 -23> But the hour cometh, and {now} is, when the true
worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for
the
Father seeketh such to worship him.
now <JOH4 -42> And said unto the woman, {Now} we believe, not
because of thy saying: for we have heard him] ourselves, and know
that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.
now <JOH4 -43> {Now} after two days he departed thence, and went
into Galilee.
now <JOH4 -51> And as he was {now} going down, his servants met
him,
and told him], saying, Thy son liveth.
now <JOH5 -2> {Now} there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market] a
pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five
porches.
now <JOH5 -6> When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been
{now} a long time in that case], he saith unto him, Wilt thou be
made whole?
now <JOH5 -25> Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is
coming,
and {now} is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of
God:
and they that hear shall live.
now <JOH6 -10> And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. {Now} there
was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about
five thousand.
now <JOH6 -16> And when even was {now}] come, his disciples went
down unto the sea,
now <JOH6 -17> And entered into a ship, and went over the sea
toward
Capernaum. And it was {now} dark, and Jesus was not come to them.
now <JOH7 -2> {Now} the Jews' feast of tabernacles was at hand.
now <JOH7 -14> {Now} about the midst of the feast Jesus went up
into
the temple, and taught.
now <JOH8 -5> {Now} Moses in the law commanded us, that such
should
be stoned: but what sayest thou?
now <JOH8 -40> But {now} ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told
you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
now <JOH8 -52> Then said the Jews unto him, {Now} we know that
thou
hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest,
If
a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.
now <JOH9 -19> And they asked them, saying, Is this your son,
who ye
say was born blind? how then doth he {now} see?
now <JOH9 -21> But by what means he {now} seeth, we know not; or
who
hath opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he
shall
speak for himself.
now <JOH9 -25> He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or
no],
I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, {now} I
see.
now <JOH9 -31> {Now} we know that God heareth not sinners: but if
any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he
heareth.
now <JOH9 -41> Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should
have no sin: but {now} ye say, We see; therefore your sin
remaineth.
now <JOH11 -1> {Now} a certain man] was sick, named] Lazarus, of
Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.
now <JOH11 -5> {Now} Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and
Lazarus.
now <JOH11 -18> {Now} Bethany was nigh unto Jerusalem, about
fifteen
furlongs off:
now <JOH11 -22> But I know, that even {now}, whatsoever thou wilt
ask of God, God will give it] thee.
now <JOH11 -30> {Now} Jesus was not yet come into the town, but
was
in that place where Martha met him.
now <JOH11 -57> {Now} both the chief priests and the Pharisees
had
given a commandment, that, if any man knew where he were, he
should
show it], that they might take him.
now <JOH12 -27> {Now} is my soul troubled; and what shall I say?
Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto
this
hour.
now <JOH12 -31> Now is the judgment of this world: {now} shall
the
prince of this world be cast out.
now <JOH12 -31> {Now} is the judgment of this world: now shall
the
prince of this world be cast out.
now <JOH13 -1> {Now} before the feast of the passover, when Jesus
knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this
world
unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he
loved them unto the end.
now <JOH13 -2> And supper being ended, the devil having {now} put
into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son], to betray him;
now <JOH13 -7> Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou
knowest not {now}; but thou shalt know hereafter.
now <JOH13 -19> {Now} I tell you before it come, that, when it is
come to pass, ye may believe that I am he].
now <JOH13 -23> {Now} there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of
his
disciples, whom Jesus loved.
now <JOH13 -28> {Now} no man at the table knew for what intent he
spake this unto him.
now <JOH13 -31> Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said,
{Now}
is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.
now <JOH13 -33> Little children, yet a little while I am with
you.
Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye
cannot come; so {now} I say to you.
now <JOH13 -36> Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest
thou?
Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me {now};
but thou shalt follow me afterwards.
now <JOH13 -37> Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow
thee
{now}? I will lay down my life for thy sake.
now <JOH14 -29> And {now} I have told you before it come to pass,
that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
now <JOH15 -3> {Now} ye are clean through the word which I have
spoken unto you.
now <JOH15 -22> If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had
not
had sin: but {now} they have no cloak for their sin.
now <JOH15 -24> If I had not done among them the works which none
other man did, they had not had sin: but {now} have they both
seen
and hated both me and my Father.
now <JOH16 -5> But {now} I go my way to him that sent me; and
none
of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?
now <JOH16 -12> I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye
cannot bear them {now}.
now <JOH16 -19> {Now} Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask
him,
and said unto them, Do ye inquire among yourselves of that I
said, A
little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while,
and ye shall see me?
now <JOH16 -22> And ye {now} therefore have sorrow: but I will
see
you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man
taketh
from you.
now <JOH16 -29> His disciples said unto him, Lo, {now} speakest
thou
plainly, and speakest no proverb.
now <JOH16 -30> {Now} are we sure that thou knowest all things,
and
needest not that any man should ask thee: but this we believe
that
thou camest forth from God.
now <JOH16 -31> Jesus answered them, Do ye {now} believe?
now <JOH16 -32> Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is {now} come,
that ye
shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me
alone:
and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
now <JOH17 -5> And {now}, O Father, glorify thou me with thine
own
self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
now <JOH17 -7> {Now} they have known that all things whatsoever
thou
hast given me are of thee.
now <JOH17 -11> And {now} I am no more in the world, but these
are
in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine
own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as
we
are].
now <JOH17 -13> And {now} come I to thee; and these things I
speak
in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in
themselves.
now <JOH18 -14> {Now} Caiaphas was he, which gave counsel to the
Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the
people.
now <JOH18 -24> {Now} Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the
high priest.
now <JOH18 -36> Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world:
if
my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight,
that I
should not be delivered to the Jews: but {now} is my kingdom not
from hence.
now <JOH18 -40> Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man,
but
Barabbas. {Now} Barabbas was a robber.
now <JOH19 -23> Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus,
took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part;
and
also his] coat: {now} the coat was without seam, woven from the
top
throughout.
now <JOH19 -25> {Now} there stood by the cross of Jesus his
mother,
and his mother's sister, Mary the wife] of Cleophas, and Mary
Magdalene. now <JOH19 -28> After this, Jesus knowing that all
things
were {now} accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled,
saith, I thirst.
now <JOH19 -29> {Now} there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and
they filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it] upon hyssop, and
put
it] to his mouth.
now <JOH19 -41> {Now} in the place where he was crucified there
was
a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never
man
yet laid.
now <JOH21 -4> But when the morning was {now} come, Jesus stood
on
the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.
now <JOH21 -6> And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right
side
of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and {now}
they
were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.
now <JOH21 -7> Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith
unto
Peter, It is the Lord. {Now} when Simon Peter heard that it was
the
Lord, he girt his] fisher's coat unto him], for he was naked,)
and
did cast himself into the sea.
now <JOH21 -10> Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye
have {now} caught.
now <JOH21 -14> This is {now} the third time that Jesus showed
himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.
now <ACT1 -18> {Now} this man purchased a field with the reward
of
iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst,
and
all his bowels gushed out.
now <ACT2 -6> {Now} when this was noised abroad, the multitude
came
together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them
speak in his own language.
now <ACT2 -33> Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted,
and
having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he
hath
shed forth this, which ye {now} see and hear.
now <ACT2 -37> {Now} when they heard this], they were pricked in
their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles,
Men and] brethren, what shall we do?
now <ACT3 -1> {Now} Peter and John went up together into the
temple
at the hour of prayer, being] the ninth hour].
now <ACT3 -17> And {now}, brethren, I wot that through ignorance
ye
did it], as did] also your rulers.
now <ACT4 -3> And they laid hands on them, and put them] in hold
unto the next day: for it was {now} eventide.
now <ACT4 -13> {Now} when they saw the boldness of Peter and
John,
and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they
marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been
with
Jesus.
now <ACT4 -29> And {now}, Lord, behold their threatenings: and
grant
unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy
word,
now <ACT5 -24> {Now} when the high priest and the captain of the
temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of
them whereunto this would grow.
now <ACT5 -38> And {now} I say unto you, Refrain from these men,
and
let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it
will
come to nought:
now <ACT7 -4> Then came he out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and
dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead, he
removed him into this land, wherein ye {now} dwell.
now <ACT7 -11> {Now} there came a dearth over all the land of
Egypt
and Chanaan, and great affliction: and our fathers found no
sustenance.
now <ACT7 -34> I have seen, I have seen the affliction of my
people
which is in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and am come
down
to deliver them. And {now} come, I will send thee into Egypt.
now <ACT7 -52> Which of the prophets have not your fathers
persecuted? and they have slain them which showed before of the
coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been {now} the betrayers
and
murderers:
now <ACT8 -14> {Now} when the apostles which were at Jerusalem
heard
that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them
Peter
and John:
now <ACT9 -36> {Now} there was at Joppa a certain disciple named
Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was
full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.
now <ACT10 -5> And {now} send men to Joppa, and call for one]
Simon,
whose surname is Peter:
now <ACT10 -17> {Now} while Peter doubted in himself what this
vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were
sent from Cornelius had made inquiry for Simon's house, and stood
before the gate,
now <ACT10 -33> Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou
hast
well done that thou art come. {Now} therefore are we all here
present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of
God.
now <ACT11 -19> {Now} they which were scattered abroad upon the
persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice,
and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the
Jews only.
now <ACT12 -1> {Now} about that time Herod the king stretched
forth
his] hands to vex certain of the church.
now <ACT12 -11> And when Peter was come to himself, he said,
{Now} I
know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath
delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from] all the
expectation
of the people of the Jews.
now <ACT12 -18> {Now} as soon as it was day, there was no small
stir
among the soldiers, what was become of Peter.
now <ACT13 -1> {Now} there were in the church that was at Antioch
certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was
called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been
brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.
now <ACT13 -11> And {now}, behold, the hand of the Lord is] upon
thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season.
And
immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went
about seeking some to lead him by the hand.
now <ACT13 -13> {Now} when Paul and his company loosed from
Paphos,
they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them
returned to Jerusalem.
now <ACT13 -34> And as concerning that he raised him up from the
dead, {now}] no more to return to corruption, he said on this
wise,
I will give you the sure mercies of David.
now <ACT13 -43> {Now} when the congregation was broken up, many
of
the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas:
who,
speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.
now <ACT15 -10> {Now} therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke
upon
the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were
able to bear?
now <ACT16 -6> {Now} when they had gone throughout Phrygia and
the
region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach
the word in Asia,
now <ACT16 -36> And the keeper of the prison told this saying to
Paul, The magistrates have sent to let you go: {now} therefore
depart, and go in peace.
now <ACT16 -37> But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us
openly
uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast us] into prison; and
{now}
do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come
themselves and fetch us out.
now <ACT17 -1> {Now} when they had passed through Amphipolis and
Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of
the
Jews:
now <ACT17 -16> {Now} while Paul waited for them at Athens, his
spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to
idolatry.
now <ACT17 -30> And the times of this ignorance God winked at;
but
{now} commandeth all men every where to repent:
now <ACT18 -14> And when Paul was {now} about to open his] mouth,
Gallio said unto the Jews, If it were a matter of wrong or wicked
lewdness, O ye] Jews, reason would that I should bear with you:
now <ACT20 -22> And {now}, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto
Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:
now <ACT20 -25> And {now}, behold, I know that ye all, among
whom I
have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no
more.
now <ACT20 -32> And {now}, brethren, I commend you to God, and to
the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give
you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
now <ACT21 -3> {Now} when we had discovered Cyprus, we left it on
the left hand, and sailed into Syria, and landed at Tyre: for
there
the ship was to unlade her burden.
now <ACT22 -1> Men, brethren, and fathers, hear ye my defence
which
I make] {now} unto you.
now <ACT22 -16> And {now} why tarriest thou? arise, and be
baptized,
and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
now <ACT23 -15> {Now} therefore ye with the council signify to
the
chief captain that he bring him down unto you to morrow, as
though
ye would inquire something more perfectly concerning him: and we,
or
ever he come near, are ready to kill him.
now <ACT23 -21> But do not thou yield unto them: for there lie in
wait for him of them more than forty men, which have bound
themselves with an oath, that they will neither eat nor drink
till
they have killed him: and {now} are they ready, looking for a p
romise from thee.
now <ACT24 -13> Neither can they prove the things whereof they
{now}
accuse me.
now <ACT24 -17> {Now} after many years I came to bring alms to my
nation, and offerings.
now <ACT25 -1> {Now} when Festus was come into the province,
after
three days he ascended from Caesarea to Jerusalem.
now <ACT26 -6> And {now} I stand and am judged for the hope of
the
promise made of God unto our fathers:
now <ACT26 -17> Delivering thee from the people, and from] the
Gentiles, unto whom {now} I send thee,
now <ACT27 -9> {Now} when much time was spent, and when sailing
was
now dangerous, because the fast was now already past, Paul
admonished them],
now <ACT27 -9> Now when much time was spent, and when sailing was
now dangerous, because the fast was {now} already past, Paul
admonished them],
now <ACT27 -9> Now when much time was spent, and when sailing was
{now} dangerous, because the fast was now already past, Paul
admonished them],
now <ACT27 -22> And {now} I exhort you to be of good cheer: for
there shall be no loss of any man's] life among you, but of the
ship.
now <ROM1 -10> Making request, if by any means {now} at length I
might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto
you.
now <ROM1 -13> {Now} I would not have you ignorant, brethren,
that
oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, but was let hitherto,)
that
I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other
Gentiles.
now <ROM3 -19> {Now} we know that what things soever the law
saith,
it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be
stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
now <ROM3 -21> But {now} the righteousness of God without the
law is
manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
now <ROM4 -4> {Now} to him that worketh is the reward not
reckoned
of grace, but of debt.
now <ROM4 -19> And being not weak in faith, he considered not his
own body {now} dead, when he was about an hundred years old,
neither
yet the deadness of Sarah's womb:
now <ROM4 -23> {Now} it was not written for his sake alone, that
it
was imputed to him;
now <ROM5 -9> Much more then, being {now} justified by his blood,
we
shall be saved from wrath through him.
now <ROM5 -11> And not only so], but we also joy in God through
our
Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have {now} received the atonement.
now <ROM6 -8> {Now} if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we
shall also live with him:
now <ROM6 -19> I speak after the manner of men because of the
infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members
servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so
{now}
yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
now <ROM6 -21> What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye
are
{now} ashamed? for the end of those things is] death.
now <ROM6 -22> But {now} being made free from sin, and become
servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end
everlasting life.
now <ROM7 -6> But {now} we are delivered from the law, that being
dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of
spirit, and not in] the oldness of the letter.
now <ROM7 -17> {Now} then it is no more I that do it, but sin
that
dwelleth in me.
now <ROM7 -20> {Now} if I do that I would not, it is no more I
that
do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
now <ROM8 -1> There is] therefore {now} no condemnation to them
which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but
after
the Spirit.
now <ROM8 -9> But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if
so
be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. {Now} if any man have not
the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
now <ROM8 -22> For we know that the whole creation groaneth and
travaileth in pain together until {now}.
now <ROM11 -12> {Now} if the fall of them be] the riches of the
world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles;
how
much more their fulness?
now <ROM11 -30> For as ye in times past have not believed God,
yet
have {now} obtained mercy through their unbelief:
now <ROM11 -31> Even so have these also {now} not believed, that
through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
now <ROM13 -11> And that, knowing the time, that {now} it is]
high
time to awake out of sleep: for now is] our salvation nearer than
when we believed.
now <ROM13 -11> And that, knowing the time, that now it is] high
time to awake out of sleep: for {now} is] our salvation nearer
than
when we believed.
now <ROM14 -15> But if thy brother be grieved with thy] meat,
{now}
walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for
whom
Christ died.
now <ROM15 -5> {Now} the God of patience and consolation grant
you
to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:
now <ROM15 -8> {Now} I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of
the
circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made]
unto the fathers:
now <ROM15 -13> {Now} the God of hope fill you with all joy and
peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the
power of
the Holy Ghost.
now <ROM15 -23> But {now} having no more place in these parts,
and
having a great desire these many years to come unto you;
now <ROM15 -25> But {now} I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto
the
saints.
now <ROM15 -30> {Now} I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus
Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive
together with me in your] prayers to God for me;
now <ROM15 -33> {Now} the God of peace be] with you all. Amen.
now <ROM16 -17> {Now} I beseech you, brethren, mark them which
cause
divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have
learned; and avoid them.
now <ROM16 -25> {Now} to him that is of power to stablish you
according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ,
according
to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the
world began,
now <ROM16 -26> But {now} is made manifest, and by the
scriptures of
the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting
God,
made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
now <1CO1 -10> {Now} I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our
Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that]
there
be no divisions among you; but that] ye be perfectly joined
together
in the same mind and in the same judgment.
now <1CO1 -12> {Now} this I say, that every one of you saith, I
am
of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
now <1CO2 -12> {Now} we have received, not the spirit of the
world,
but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things
that
are freely given to us of God.
now <1CO3 -2> I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for
hitherto ye were not able to bear it], neither yet {now} are ye
able.
now <1CO3 -8> {Now} he that planteth and he that watereth are
one:
and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own
labour.
now <1CO3 -12> {Now} if any man build upon this foundation gold,
silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
now <1CO4 -7> For who maketh thee to differ from another]? and
what
hast thou that thou didst not receive? {now} if thou didst
receive
it], why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it]?
now <1CO4 -8> {Now} ye are full, now ye are rich, ye have
reigned as
kings without us: and I would to God ye did reign, that we also
might reign with you.
now <1CO4 -8> Now ye are full, {now} ye are rich, ye have
reigned as
kings without us: and I would to God ye did reign, that we also
might reign with you.
now <1CO4 -18> {Now} some are puffed up, as though I would not
come
to you.
now <1CO5 -11> But {now} I have written unto you not to keep
company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or
covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an
extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
now <1CO6 -7> {Now} therefore there is utterly a fault among you,
because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take
wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to] be defrauded?
now <1CO6 -13> Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but
God
shall destroy both it and them. {Now} the body is] not for
fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
now <1CO7 -1> {Now} concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto
me:
It is] good for a man not to touch a woman.
now <1CO7 -14> For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the
wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else
were your children unclean; but {now} are they holy.
now <1CO7 -25> {Now} concerning virgins I have no commandment of
the
Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of
the
Lord to be faithful.
now <1CO8 -1> {Now} as touching things offered unto idols, we
know
that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity
edifieth.
now <1CO9 -25> And every man that striveth for the mastery is
temperate in all things. {Now} they do it] to obtain a
corruptible
crown; but we an incorruptible.
now <1CO10 -6> {Now} these things were our examples, to the
intent
we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
now <1CO10 -11> {Now} all these things happened unto them for
ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the
ends of the world are come.
now <1CO11 -2> {Now} I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me
in
all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them] to you.
now <1CO11 -17> {Now} in this that I declare unto you] I praise
you]
not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.
now <1CO12 -1> {Now} concerning spiritual gifts], brethren, I
would
not have you ignorant.
now <1CO12 -4> {Now} there are diversities of gifts, but the same
Spirit.
now <1CO12 -18> But {now} hath God set the members every one of
them
in the body, as it hath pleased him.
now <1CO12 -20> But {now} are they] many members, yet but one
body.
now <1CO12 -27> {Now} ye are the body of Christ, and members in
particular.
now <1CO13 -12> For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then
face to face: {now} I know in part; but then shall I know even as
also I am known.
now <1CO13 -12> For {now} we see through a glass, darkly; but
then
face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as
also
I am known.
now <1CO13 -13> And {now} abideth faith, hope, charity, these
three;
but the greatest of these is] charity.
now <1CO14 -6> {Now}, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with
tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you
either
by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by
doctrine?
now <1CO15 -12> {Now} if Christ be preached that he rose from the
dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the
dead?
now <1CO15 -20> But {now} is Christ risen from the dead, and]
become
the firstfruits of them that slept.
now <1CO15 -50> {Now} this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood
cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption
inherit
incorruption.
now <1CO16 -1> {Now} concerning the collection for the saints,
as I
have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.
now <1CO16 -5> {Now} I will come unto you, when I shall pass
through
Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia.
now <1CO16 -7> For I will not see you {now} by the way; but I
trust
to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.
now <1CO16 -10> {Now} if Timotheus come, see that he may be with
you
without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do].
now <2CO1 -21> {Now} he which stablisheth us with you in Christ,
and
hath anointed us, is] God;
now <2CO2 -14> {Now} thanks be] unto God, which always causeth
us to
triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his
knowledge
by us in every place.
now <2CO3 -17> {Now} the Lord is that Spirit: and where the
Spirit
of the Lord is], there is] liberty.
now <2CO5 -5> {Now} he that hath wrought us for the selfsame
thing
is] God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
now <2CO5 -16> Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the
flesh:
yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet {now}
henceforth know we him] no more.
now <2CO5 -20> {Now} then we are ambassadors for Christ, as
though
God did beseech you] by us: we pray you] in Christ's stead, be ye
reconciled to God.
now <2CO6 -2> For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted,
and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now
is]
the accepted time; behold, {now} is] the day of salvation.)
now <2CO6 -2> For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted,
and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, {now}
is]
the accepted time; behold, now is] the day of salvation.)
now <2CO6 -13> {Now} for a recompense in the same, I speak as
unto
my] children,) be ye also enlarged.
now <2CO7 -9> {Now} I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but
that
ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly
manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.
now <2CO8 -11> {Now} therefore perform the doing of it]; that as
there was] a readiness to will, so there may be] a performance
also
out of that which ye have.
now <2CO8 -14> But by an equality, that] {now} at this time your
abundance may be a supply] for their want, that their abundance
also
may be a supply] for your want: that there may be equality:
now <2CO8 -22> And we have sent with them our brother, whom we
have
oftentimes proved diligent in many things, but {now} much more
diligent, upon the great confidence which I have] in you.
now <2CO9 -10> {Now} he that ministereth seed to the sower both
minister bread for your] food, and multiply your seed sown, and
increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
now <2CO10 -1> {Now} I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness
and
gentleness of Christ, who in presence am] base among you, but
being
absent am bold toward you:
now <2CO12 -6> For though I would desire to glory, I shall not
be a
fool; for I will say the truth: but {now}] I forbear, lest any
man
should think of me above that which he seeth me to be], or that]
he
heareth of me.
now <2CO13 -2> I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were
present, the second time; and being absent {now} I write to them
which heretofore have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come
again, I will not spare:
now <2CO13 -7> {Now} I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that
we
should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is
honest,
though we be as reprobates.
now <GAL1 -9> As we said before, so say I {now} again, If any
man]
preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let
him
be accursed.
now <GAL1 -10> For do I {now} persuade men, or God? or do I seek
to
please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the
servant of
Christ.
now <GAL1 -20> {Now} the things which I write unto you, behold,
before God, I lie not.
now <GAL1 -23> But they had heard only, That he which persecuted
us
in times past {now} preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.
now <GAL2 -20> I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live;
yet
not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I {now} live
in
the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me,
and
gave himself for me.
now <GAL3 -3> Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are
ye
{now} made perfect by the flesh?
now <GAL3 -16> {Now} to Abraham and his seed were the promises
made.
He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy
seed, which is Christ.
now <GAL3 -20> {Now} a mediator is not a mediator] of one, but
God
is one.
now <GAL4 -1> {Now} I say, That] the heir, as long as he is a
child,
differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
now <GAL4 -9> But {now}, after that ye have known God, or rather
are
known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly
elements,
whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
now <GAL4 -20> I desire to be present with you {now}, and to
change
my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.
now <GAL4 -25> For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and
answereth
to Jerusalem which {now} is, and is in bondage with her children.
now <GAL4 -28> {Now} we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the
children of
promise.
now <GAL4 -29> But as then he that was born after the flesh
persecuted him that was born] after the Spirit, even so it is]
{now}.
now <GAL5 -19> {Now} the works of the flesh are manifest, which
are
these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
now <EPH2 -2> Wherein in time past ye walked according to the
course
of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air,
the
spirit that {now} worketh in the children of disobedience:
now <EPH2 -13> But {now} in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were
far
off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
now <EPH2 -19> {Now} therefore ye are no more strangers and
foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the
household
of God;
rnow <EPH3 -5> Which in other ages was not made known unto the
sons
of men, as it is {now} revealed unto his holy apostles and
prophets
by the Spirit;
now <EPH3 -10> To the intent that {now} unto the principalities
and
powers in heavenly places] might be known by the church the
manifold
wisdom of God,
now <EPH3 -20> {Now} unto him that is able to do exceeding
abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power
that worketh in us,
now <EPH4 -9> {Now} that he ascended, what is it but that he also
descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
now <EPH5 -8> For ye were sometimes darkness, but {now} are ye]
light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
now <PHP1 -5> For your fellowship in the gospel from the first
day
until {now};
now <PHP1 -20> According to my earnest expectation and my] hope,
that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that] with all boldness,
as
always, so] {now} also Christ shall be magnified in my body,
whether
it be] by life, or by death.
now <PHP1 -30> Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and
{now} hear to be] in me.
now <PHP2 -12> Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed,
not
as in my presence only, but {now} much more in my absence, work
out
your own salvation with fear and trembling.
now <PHP3 -18> For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and
{now} tell you even weeping, that they are] the enemies of the
cross
of Christ:
now <PHP4 -10> But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that {now} at
the
last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also
careful, but ye lacked opportunity.
now <PHP4 -15> {Now} ye Philippians know also, that in the
beginning
of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church
communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye
only.
now <PHP4 -20> {Now} unto God and our Father be] glory for ever
and
ever. Amen.
now <COL1 -21> And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies
in
your] mind by wicked works, yet {now} hath he reconciled
now <COL1 -24> Who {now} rejoice in my sufferings for you, and
fill
up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh
for
his body's sake, which is the church:
now <COL1 -26> Even] the mystery which hath been hid from ages
and
from generations, but {now} is made manifest to his saints:
now <COL3 -8> But {now} ye also put off all these; anger, wrath,
malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
now <1TH3 -6> But {now} when Timotheus came from you unto us, and
brought us good tidings of your faith and charity, and that ye
have
good remembrance of us always, desiring greatly to see us, as we
also to see] you:
now <1TH3 -8> For {now} we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord.
now <1TH3 -11> {Now} God himself and our Father, and our Lord
Jesus
Christ, direct our way unto you.
now <1TH5 -14> {Now} we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are
unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient
toward all men].
now <2TH2 -1> {Now} we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of
our
Lord Jesus Christ, and by] our gathering together unto him,
now <2TH2 -6> And {now} ye know what withholdeth that he might be
revealed in his time.
now <2TH2 -7> For the mystery of iniquity doth already work:
only he
who {now} letteth will let], until he be taken out of the way.
now <2TH2 -16> {Now} our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even
our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us] everlasting
consolation and good hope through grace,
now <2TH3 -6> {Now} we command you, brethren, in the name of our
Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother
that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he
received of us.
now <2TH3 -12> {Now} them that are such we command and exhort by
our
Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their
own
bread.
now <2TH3 -16> {Now} the Lord of peace himself give you peace
always
by all means. The Lord be] with you all.
now <1TI1 -5> {Now} the end of the commandment is charity out of
a
pure heart, and of] a good conscience, and of] faith unfeigned:
now <1TI1 -17> {Now} unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible,
the
only wise God, be] honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
now <1TI4 -1> {Now} the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the
latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to
seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
now <1TI4 -8> For bodily exercise profiteth little: but
godliness is
profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that {now}
is, and of that which is to come.
now <1TI5 -5> {Now} she that is a widow indeed, and desolate,
trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers
night
and day.
now <2TI1 -10> But is {now} made manifest by the appearing of our
Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought
life and immortality to light through the gospel:
now <2TI3 -8> {Now} as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do
these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate
concerning the faith.
now <2TI4 -6> For I am {now} ready to be offered, and the time
of my
departure is at hand.
now <PHM1 -9> Yet for love's sake I rather beseech thee], being
such
an one as Paul the aged, and {now} also a prisoner of Jesus
Christ.
now <PHM1 -11> Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but
{now} profitable to thee and to me:
now <PHM1 -16> Not {now} as a servant, but above a servant, a
brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee,
both
in the flesh, and in the Lord?
now <HEB2 -8> Thou hast put all things in subjection under his
feet.
For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing
that
is] not put under him. But {now} we see not yet all things put
under
him.
now <HEB7 -4> {Now} consider how great this man was], unto whom
even
the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.
now <HEB8 -1> {Now} of the things which we have spoken this is]
the
sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of
the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
now <HEB8 -6> But {now} hath he obtained a more excellent
ministry,
by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which
was
established upon better promises.
now <HEB8 -13> In that he saith, A new covenant], he hath made
the
first old. {Now} that which decayeth and waxeth old is] ready to
vanish away.
now <HEB9 -5> And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the
mercyseat; of which we cannot {now} speak particularly.
now <HEB9 -6> {Now} when these things were thus ordained, the
priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the
service of God].
now <HEB9 -24> For Christ is not entered into the holy places
made
with hands, which are] the figures of the true; but into heaven
itself, {now} to appear in the presence of God for us:
now <HEB9 -26> For then must he often have suffered since the
foundation of the world: but {now} once in the end of the world
hath
he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
now <HEB10 -18> {Now} where remission of these is, there is] no
more
offering for sin.
now <HEB10 -38> {Now} the just shall live by faith: but if any
man]
draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
now <HEB11 -1> {Now} faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the
evidence of things not seen.
now <HEB11 -16> But {now} they desire a better country], that is,
an
heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God:
for
he hath prepared for them a city.
now <HEB12 -11> {Now} no chastening for the present seemeth to be
joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the
peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised
thereby.
now <HEB12 -26> Whose voice then shook the earth: but {now} he
hath
promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but
also
heaven.
now <HEB13 -20> {Now} the God of peace, that brought again from
the
dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through
the
blood of the everlasting covenant,
now <JAM2 -11> For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said
also,
Do not kill. {Now} if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill,
thou art become a transgressor of the law.
now <JAM4 -13> Go to {now}, ye that say, To day or to morrow we
will
go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell,
and get gain:
now <JAM4 -16> But {now} ye rejoice in your boastings: all such
rejoicing is evil.
now <JAM5 -1> Go to {now}, ye] rich men, weep and howl for your
miseries that shall come upon you].
now <1PE1 -6> Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though {now} for a
season,
if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
now <1PE1 -8> Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though
{now}
ye see him] not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable
and
full of glory:
now <1PE1 -12> Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto
themselves,
but unto us they did minister the things, which are {now}
reported
unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the
Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the ange
ls desire to look into.
now <1PE2 -10> Which in time past were] not a people, but are]
now
the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but {now} have
obtained mercy.
now <1PE2 -10> Which in time past were] not a people, but are]
{now}
the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have
obtained mercy.
now <1PE2 -25> For ye were as sheep going astray; but are {now}
returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
now <1PE3 -21> The like figure whereunto even] baptism doth also
{now} save us not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but
the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection
of
Jesus Christ:
now <2PE2 -3> And through covetousness shall they with feigned
words
make merchandise of you: whose judgment {now} of a long time
lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
now <2PE3 -1> This second epistle, beloved, I {now} write unto
you;
in both] which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
now <2PE3 -7> But the heavens and the earth, which are {now}, by
the
same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day
of
judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
now <2PE3 -18> But grow in grace, and in] the knowledge of our
Lord
and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be] glory both {now} and for
ever.
Amen.
now <1JO2 -8> Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which
thing
is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the
true light {now} shineth.
now <1JO2 -9> He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his
brother, is in darkness even until {now}.
now <1JO2 -18> Little children, it is the last time: and as ye
have
heard that antichrist shall come, even {now} are there many
antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
now <1JO2 -28> And {now}, little children, abide in him; that,
when
he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed
before
him at his coming.
now <1JO3 -2> Beloved, {now} are we the sons of God, and it doth
not
yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall
appear,
we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
now <1JO4 -3> And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus
Christ
is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit] of
antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even
{now} already is it in the world.
now <2JO1 -5> And {now} I beseech thee, lady, not as though I
wrote
a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the
beginning, that we love one another.
now <JUD1 -24> {Now} unto him that is able to keep you from
falling,
and to present you] faultless before the presence of his glory
with
exceeding joy,
now <JUD1 -25> To the only wise God our Saviour, be] glory and
majesty, dominion and power, both {now} and for ever. Amen.
now <REV12 -10> And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, {Now}
is
come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the
power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast
down,
which accused them before our God day and night.
