music <1SA18 -6> And it came to pass as they came, when David was

returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the women

came

out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king

Saul,

with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of {musi c}.

music <1CH15 -16> And David spake to the chief of the Levites to

appoint their brethren [to be] the singers with instruments of

{music}, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting

up

the voice with joy.

music <2CH5 -13> It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and

singers

[were] as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and

thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up [their] voice with the

trumpets and cymbals and instruments of {music}, and praise d the

LORD, [saying], For [he is] good; for his mercy [endureth] for

ever:

that [then] the house was filled with a cloud, [even] the house

of

the LORD;

music <2CH7 -6> And the priests waited on their offices: the

Levites

also with instruments of {music} of the LORD, which David the

king

had made to praise the LORD, because his mercy [endureth] for

ever,

when David praised by their ministry; and the pries ts sounded

trumpets before them, and all Israel stood.

music <2CH23 -13> And she looked, and, behold, the king stood at

his

pillar at the entering in, and the princes and the trumpets by

the

king: and all the people of the land rejoiced, and sounded with

trumpets, also the singers with instruments of {music},

 and such as taught to sing praise. Then Athaliah rent her

clothes,

and said, Treason, Treason.

music <2CH34 -12> And the men did the work faithfully: and the

overseers of them [were] Jahath and Obadiah, the Levites, of the

sons of Merari; and Zechariah and Meshullam, of the sons of the

Kohathites, to set [it] forward; and [other of] the Levites, al l

that could skill of instruments of {music}.

music <ECC12 -4> And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when

the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the

voice

of the bird, and all the daughters of {music} shall be brought

low;

music <LAM3 -63> Behold their sitting down, and their rising up;

I

[am] their {music}.

music <LAM5 -14> The elders have ceased from the gate, the young

men

from their {music}.

music <DAN3 -5> That] at what time ye hear the sound of the

cornet,

flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of

{music},

ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the

king hath set up:

music <DAN3 -7> Therefore at that time, when all the people heard

the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all

kinds of {music}, all the people, the nations, and the languages,

fell down [and] worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadn ezzar

the

king had set up.

music <DAN3 -10> Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man

that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut,

psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of {music}, shall fall down

and worship the golden image:

music <DAN3 -15> Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the

sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and

dulcimer,

and all kinds of {music}, ye fall down and worship the image

which I

have made; [well]: but if ye worship not, ye shall be

 cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace;

and

who [is] that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?

music <DAN6 -18> Then the king went to his palace, and passed the

night fasting: neither were instruments of {music} brought before

him: and his sleep went from him.

music <AMO6 -5> That chant to the sound of the viol, [and]

invent to

themselves instruments of {music}, like David;

music <LUK15 -25> Now his elder son was in the field: and as he

came

and drew nigh to the house, he heard {music} and dancing.
