mortar <GEN11 -3> And they said one to another, Go to, let us

make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for

stone, and slime had they for {mortar}.

mortar <EXO1 -14> And they made their lives bitter with hard

in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve,

daubed with untempered [{mortar}], and bring it down to the

ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and

it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof:

and ye

shall know that I [am] the LORD.

mortar <EZE13 -15> Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall,

 and upon them that have daubed it with untempered [{mortar}],

and will say unto you, The wall [is] no [more], neither they

that daubed it;

mortar <EZE22 -28> And her prophets have daubed them with

untempered [{mortar}], seeing vanity, and divining lies unto

them, saying, Thus saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not

spoken.

mortar <NAH3 -14> Draw thee waters for the siege, fortify thy

strong holds: go into clay, and tread the {mortar}, make strong

the brickkiln.
