levites <NEH13 -13> And I made treasurers over the treasuries,

Shelemiah the priest, and Zadok the scribe, and of the {Levites},

Pedaiah: and next to them [was] Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son

Mattaniah: for they were counted faithful, and their offic

e [was] to distribute unto their brethren.

levites <NEH13 -22> And I commanded the {Levites} that they

should

cleanse themselves, and [that] they should come [and] keep the

gates, to sanctify the sabbath day. Remember me, O my God,

[concerning] this also, and spare me according to the greatness

thy mercy.

levites <NEH13 -29> Remember them, O my God, because they have

defiled the priesthood, and the covenant of the priesthood, and

the {Levites}.

levites <NEH13 -30> Thus cleansed I them from all strangers, and

appointed the wards of the priests and the {Levites}, every one

ministers

of the house, have for themselves, for a possession for twenty

chambers.

levites <EZE48 -11> It shall be] for the priests that are

sanctified

of the sons of Zadok; which have kept my charge, which went not

astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the {Levites}

went astray.

levites <EZE48 -12> And [this] oblation of the land that is

offered

shall be unto them a thing most holy by the border of the

{Levites}.

levites <EZE48 -13> And over against the border of the priests

the

{Levites} [shall have] five and twenty thousand in length, and

ten

thousand in breadth: all the length [shall be] five and twenty

thousand, and the breadth ten thousand.

levites <EZE48 -22> Moreover from the possession of the

{Levites},

and from the possession of the city, [being] in the midst [of

that]

which is the prince's, between the border of Judah and the

border of

Benjamin, shall be for the prince.
