islands <ISA11 -11> And it shall come to pass in that day, [that]

the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the

remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and

from

Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, an

d from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the {islands} of the

sea.

islands <ISA13 -22> And the wild beasts of the {islands} shall

cry

in their desolate houses, and dragons in [their] pleasant

palaces:

and her time [is] near to come, and her days shall not be

prolonged.

islands <ISA41 -1> Keep silence before me, O {islands}; and let

the

people renew [their] strength: let them come near; then let them

speak: let us come near together to judgment.

islands <ISA42 -12> Let them give glory unto the LORD, and

declare

his praise in the {islands}.

islands <ISA42 -15> I will make waste mountains and hills, and

dry

up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers {islands}, and I

will

dry up the pools.

islands <ISA59 -18> According to [their] deeds, accordingly he

will

repay, fury to his adversaries, recompense to his enemies; to the

{islands} he will repay recompense.

islands <JER50 -39> Therefore the wild beasts of the desert with

the

wild beasts of the {islands} shall dwell [there], and the owls

shall

dwell therein: and it shall be no more inhabited for ever;

neither

shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation
