ahaziah <1KI22 -40> So Ahab slept with his fathers; and {Ahaziah}

his son reigned in his stead.

ahaziah <1KI22 -49> Then said {Ahaziah} the son of Ahab unto

Jehoshaphat, Let my servants go with thy servants in the ships.

But

Jehoshaphat would not.

ahaziah <1KI22 -51> {Ahaziah} the son of Ahab began to reign over

Israel in Samaria the seventeenth year of Jehoshaphat king of

Judah,

and reigned two years over Israel.

ahaziah <2KI1 -2> And {Ahaziah} fell down through a lattice in

his

upper chamber that [was] in Samaria, and was sick: and he sent

messengers, and said unto them, Go, inquire of Baalzebub the god

of

Ekron whether I shall recover of this disease.

ahaziah <2KI1 -18> Now the rest of the acts of {Ahaziah} which he

did, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the

kings of Israel?

ahaziah <2KI8 -24> And Joram slept with his fathers, and was

buried

with his fathers in the city of David: and {Ahaziah} his son

reigned

in his stead.

ahaziah <2KI8 -25> In the twelfth year of Joram the son of Ahab

king

of Israel did {Ahaziah} the son of Jehoram king of Judah begin to

reign.

ahaziah <2KI8 -26> Two and twenty years old [was] {Ahaziah} when

he

began to reign; and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. And his

mother's name [was] Athaliah, the daughter of Omri king of

Israel.

ahaziah <2KI8 -29> And king Joram went back to be healed in

Jezreel

of the wounds which the Syrians had given him at Ramah, when he

fought against Hazael king of Syria. And {Ahaziah} the son of

Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Joram the son of Ahab

in Jezreel, because he was sick.

ahaziah <2KI9 -16> So Jehu rode in a chariot, and went to

Jezreel;

for Joram lay there. And {Ahaziah} king of Judah was come down to

see Joram.

ahaziah <2KI9 -21> And Joram said, Make ready. And his chariot

was

made ready. And Joram king of Israel and {Ahaziah} king of Judah

went out, each in his chariot, and they went out against Jehu,

and

met him in the portion of Naboth the Jezreelite.

ahaziah <2KI9 -23> And Joram turned his hands, and fled, and

said to

{Ahaziah}, [There is] treachery, O Ahaziah.

ahaziah <2KI9 -23> And Joram turned his hands, and fled, and

said to

Ahaziah, [There is] treachery, O {Ahaziah}.

ahaziah <2KI9 -27> But when {Ahaziah} the king of Judah saw

[this],

he fled by the way of the garden house. And Jehu followed after

him,

and said, Smite him also in the chariot. [And they did so] at the

going up to Gur, which [is] by Ibleam. And he fled t

o Megiddo, and died there.

ahaziah <2KI9 -29> And in the eleventh year of Joram the son of

Ahab

began {Ahaziah} to reign over Judah.

ahaziah <2KI10 -13> Jehu met with the brethren of Ahaziah king of

Judah, and said, Who [are] ye? And they answered, We [are] the

brethren of {Ahaziah}; and we go down to salute the children of

the

king and the children of the queen.

ahaziah <2KI10 -13> Jehu met with the brethren of {Ahaziah} king

of

Judah, and said, Who [are] ye? And they answered, We [are] the

brethren of Ahaziah; and we go down to salute the children of the

king and the children of the queen.

ahaziah <2KI11 -1> And when Athaliah the mother of {Ahaziah} saw

that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed

royal.

ahaziah <2KI11 -2> But Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram,

sister

of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of {Ahaziah}, and stole him from

among the king's sons [which were] slain; and they hid him,

[even]

him and his nurse, in the bedchamber from Athaliah, so

that he was not slain.

ahaziah <2KI11 -2> But Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram,

sister

of {Ahaziah}, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from

among the king's sons [which were] slain; and they hid him,

[even]

him and his nurse, in the bedchamber from Athaliah, so

that he was not slain.

ahaziah <2KI12 -18> And Jehoash king of Judah took all the

hallowed

things that Jehoshaphat, and Jehoram, and {Ahaziah}, his fathers,

kings of Judah, had dedicated, and his own hallowed things, and

all

the gold [that was] found in the treasures of the hou

se of the LORD, and in the king's house, and sent [it] to Hazael

king of Syria: and he went away from Jerusalem.

ahaziah <2KI13 -1> In the three and twentieth year of Joash the

son

of {Ahaziah} king of Judah Jehoahaz the son of Jehu began to

reign

over Israel in Samaria, [and reigned] seventeen years.

ahaziah <2KI14 -13> And Jehoash king of Israel took Amaziah king

of

Judah, the son of Jehoash the son of {Ahaziah}, at Bethshemesh,

and

came to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the

gate of Ephraim unto the corner gate, four hundred cub

its.

ahaziah <1CH3 -11> Joram his son, {Ahaziah} his son, Joash his

son,

ahaziah <2CH20 -35> And after this did Jehoshaphat king of Judah

join himself with {Ahaziah} king of Israel, who did very

wickedly:

ahaziah <2CH20 -37> Then Eliezer the son of Dodavah of Mareshah

prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying, Because thou hast joined

thyself with {Ahaziah}, the LORD hath broken thy works. And the

ships were broken, that they were not able to go to Tarshish.

ahaziah <2CH22 -1> And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made

{Ahaziah}

his youngest son king in his stead: for the band of men that came

with the Arabians to the camp had slain all the eldest. So

Ahaziah

the son of Jehoram king of Judah reigned.

ahaziah <2CH22 -1> And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah

his

youngest son king in his stead: for the band of men that came

with

the Arabians to the camp had slain all the eldest. So {Ahaziah}

the

son of Jehoram king of Judah reigned.

ahaziah <2CH22 -2> Forty and two years old [was] {Ahaziah} when

he

began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His

mother's

name also [was] Athaliah the daughter of Omri.

ahaziah <2CH22 -7> And the destruction of {Ahaziah} was of God by

coming to Joram: for when he was come, he went out with Jehoram

against Jehu the son of Nimshi, whom the LORD had anointed to cut

off the house of Ahab.

ahaziah <2CH22 -8> And it came to pass, that, when Jehu was

executing judgment upon the house of Ahab, and found the princes

of

Judah, and the sons of the brethren of Ahaziah, that ministered

to

{Ahaziah}, he slew them.

ahaziah <2CH22 -8> And it came to pass, that, when Jehu was

executing judgment upon the house of Ahab, and found the princes

of

Judah, and the sons of the brethren of {Ahaziah}, that

ministered to

Ahaziah, he slew them.

ahaziah <2CH22 -9> And he sought Ahaziah: and they caught him,

(for

he was hid in Samaria,) and brought him to Jehu: and when they

had

slain him, they buried him: Because, said they, he [is] the son

of

Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his heart.

So the house of {Ahaziah} had no power to keep still the kingdom.

ahaziah <2CH22 -9> And he sought {Ahaziah}: and they caught him,

(for he was hid in Samaria,) and brought him to Jehu: and when

they

had slain him, they buried him: Because, said they, he [is] the

son

of Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his heart

. So the house of Ahaziah had no power to keep still the kingdom.

ahaziah <2CH22 -10> But when Athaliah the mother of {Ahaziah} saw

that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed

royal of

the house of Judah.

ahaziah <2CH22 -11> But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king,

took

Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's

sons

that were slain, and put him and his nurse in a bedchamber. So

Jehoshabeath, the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife of

Jehoiada the priest, (for she was the sister of {Ahaziah},) hid

him

from Athaliah, so that she slew him not.

ahaziah <2CH22 -11> But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king,

took

Joash the son of {Ahaziah}, and stole him from among the king's

sons

that were slain, and put him and his nurse in a bedchamber. So

Jehoshabeath, the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife o

f Jehoiada the priest, (for she was the sister of Ahaziah,) hid

him

from Athaliah, so that she slew him not.
