afraid <GEN3 -10> And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden,

and

I was {afraid}, because I [was] naked; and I hid myself.

afraid <GEN18 -15> Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for

she

was {afraid}. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.

afraid <GEN20 -8> Therefore Abimelech rose early in the morning,

and

called all his servants, and told all these things in their ears:

and the men were sore {afraid}.

afraid <GEN28 -17> And he was {afraid}, and said, How dreadful

[is]

this place! this [is] none other but the house of God, and this

[is]

the gate of heaven.

afraid <GEN31 -31> And Jacob answered and said to Laban, Because

I

was {afraid}: for I said, Peradventure thou wouldest take by

force

thy daughters from me.

afraid <GEN32 -7> Then Jacob was greatly {afraid} and distressed:

and he divided the people that [was] with him, and the flocks,

and

herds, and the camels, into two bands;

afraid <GEN42 -28> And he said unto his brethren, My money is

restored; and, lo, [it is] even in my sack: and their heart

failed

[them], and they were {afraid}, saying one to another, What [is]

this [that] God hath done unto us?

afraid <GEN42 -35> And it came to pass as they emptied their

sacks,

that, behold, every man's bundle of money [was] in his sack: and

when [both] they and their father saw the bundles of money, they

were {afraid}.

afraid <GEN43 -18> And the men were {afraid}, because they were

brought into Joseph's house; and they said, Because of the money

that was returned in our sacks at the first time are we brought

in;

that he may seek occasion against us, and fall upon us, an

d take us for bondmen, and our asses.

afraid <EXO3 -6> Moreover he said, I [am] the God of thy father,

the

God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses

hid his face; for he was {afraid} to look upon God.

afraid <EXO14 -10> And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of

Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched

after them; and they were sore {afraid}: and the children of

Israel

cried out unto the LORD.

afraid <EXO15 -14> The people shall hear, [and] be {afraid}:

sorrow

shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina.

afraid <EXO34 -30> And when Aaron and all the children of Israel

saw

Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were

{afraid} to

come nigh him.

afraid <LEV26 -6> And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall

lie down, and none shall make [you] {afraid}: and I will rid evil

beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your

land.

afraid <NUM12 -8> With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even

apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the

LORD

shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not {afraid} to speak

against my servant Moses?

afraid <NUM22 -3> And Moab was sore {afraid} of the people,

because

they [were] many: and Moab was distressed because of the

children of

Israel.

afraid <DEU1 -17> Ye shall not respect persons in judgment;

[but] ye

shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be

{afraid}

of the face of man; for the judgment [is] God's: and the cause

that

is too hard for you, bring [it] unto me, and I wil

l hear it.

afraid <DEU1 -29> Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be

{afraid} of them.

afraid <DEU2 -4> And command thou the people, saying, Ye [are] to

pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau,

which

dwell in Seir; and they shall be {afraid} of you: take ye good

heed

unto yourselves therefore:

afraid <DEU5 -5> I stood between the LORD and you at that time,

to

show you the word of the LORD: for ye were {afraid} by reason of

the

fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying,

afraid <DEU7 -18> Thou shalt not be {afraid} of them: [but] shalt

well remember what the LORD thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto

all

Egypt;

afraid <DEU7 -19> The great temptations which thine eyes saw, and

the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the

stretched

out arm, whereby the LORD thy God brought thee out: so shall the

LORD thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art {afr

aid}.

afraid <DEU9 -19> For I was {afraid} of the anger and hot

displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth against you to destroy

you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also.

afraid <DEU18 -22> When a prophet speaketh in the name of the

LORD,

if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that [is] the thing

which

the LORD hath not spoken, [but] the prophet hath spoken it

presumptuously: thou shalt not be {afraid} of him.

afraid <DEU20 -1> When thou goest out to battle against thine

enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, [and] a people more than

thou, be not {afraid} of them: for the LORD thy God [is] with

thee,

which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

afraid <DEU28 -10> And all people of the earth shall see that

thou

art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be {afraid} of

thee.

afraid <DEU28 -60> Moreover he will bring upon thee all the

diseases

of Egypt, which thou wast {afraid} of; and they shall cleave unto

thee.

afraid <DEU31 -6> Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor

be

{afraid} of them: for the LORD thy God, he [it is] that doth go

with

thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

afraid <JOS1 -9> Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a

good

courage; be not {afraid}, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD

thy

God [is] with thee whithersoever thou goest.

afraid <JOS9 -24> And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it

was

certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded

his

servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the

inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we

were sore {afraid} of our lives because of you, and have done

this

thing.

afraid <JOS11 -6> And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not {afraid}

because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver

them

up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hock their horses, and

burn

their chariots with fire.

afraid <JUG7 -3> Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the

people, saying, Whosoever [is] fearful and {afraid}, let him

return

and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the

people

twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thou

sand.

afraid <RUT3 -8> And it came to pass at midnight, that the man

was

{afraid}, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his

feet.

afraid <1SA4 -7> And the Philistines were {afraid}, for they

said,

God is come into the camp. And they said, Woe unto us! for there

hath not been such a thing heretofore.

afraid <1SA7 -7> And when the Philistines heard that the

children of

Israel were gathered together to Mizpeh, the lords of the

Philistines went up against Israel. And when the children of

Israel

heard [it], they were {afraid} of the Philistines.

afraid <1SA17 -11> When Saul and all Israel heard those words of

the

Philistine, they were dismayed, and greatly {afraid}.

afraid <1SA17 -24> And all the men of Israel, when they saw the

man,

fled from him, and were sore {afraid}.

afraid <1SA18 -12> And Saul was {afraid} of David, because the

LORD

was with him, and was departed from Saul.

afraid <1SA18 -15> Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved

himself

very wisely, he was {afraid} of him.

afraid <1SA18 -29> And Saul was yet the more {afraid} of David;

and

Saul became David's enemy continually.

afraid <1SA21 -1> Then came David to Nob to Ahimelech the priest:

and Ahimelech was {afraid} at the meeting of David, and said unto

him, Why [art] thou alone, and no man with thee?

afraid <1SA21 -12> And David laid up these words in his heart,

and

was sore {afraid} of Achish the king of Gath.

afraid <1SA23 -3> And David's men said unto him, Behold, we be

{afraid} here in Judah: how much more then if we come to Keilah

against the armies of the Philistines?

afraid <1SA28 -5> And when Saul saw the host of the Philistines,

he

was {afraid}, and his heart greatly trembled.

afraid <1SA28 -13> And the king said unto her, Be not {afraid}:

for

what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods

ascending

out of the earth.

afraid <1SA28 -20> Then Saul fell straightway all along on the

earth, and was sore {afraid}, because of the words of Samuel: and

there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the

day,

nor all the night.

afraid <1SA31 -4> Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy

sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised

come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer

would

not; for he was sore {afraid}. Therefore Saul took a swo

rd, and fell upon it.

afraid <2SA1 -14> And David said unto him, How wast thou not

{afraid} to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD'S

anointed?

afraid <2SA6 -9> And David was {afraid} of the LORD that day, and

said, How shall the ark of the LORD come to me?

afraid <2SA14 -15> Now therefore that I am come to speak of this

thing unto my lord the king, [it is] because the people have

made me

{afraid}: and thy handmaid said, I will now speak unto the king;

it

may be that the king will perform the request of his

handmaid.

afraid <2SA17 -2> And I will come upon him while he [is] weary

and

weak handed, and will make him {afraid}: and all the people that

[are] with him shall flee; and I will smite the king only:

afraid <2SA22 -5> When the waves of death compassed me, the

floods

of ungodly men made me {afraid};

afraid <2SA22 -46> Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be

{afraid} out of their close places.

afraid <1KI1 -49> And all the guests that [were] with Adonijah

were

{afraid}, and rose up, and went every man his way.

afraid <2KI1 -15> And the angel of the LORD said unto Elijah, Go

down with him: be not {afraid} of him. And he arose, and went

down

with him unto the king.

afraid <2KI10 -4> But they were exceedingly {afraid}, and said,

Behold, two kings stood not before him: how then shall we stand?

afraid <2KI19 -6> And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say to

your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not {afraid} of the words

which

thou hast heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria

have

blasphemed me.

afraid <2KI25 -26> And all the people, both small and great, and

the

captains of the armies, arose, and came to Egypt: for they were

{afraid} of the Chaldees.

afraid <1CH10 -4> Then said Saul to his armourbearer, Draw thy

sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised

come and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was

sore

{afraid}. So Saul took a sword, and fell upon it.

afraid <1CH13 -12> And David was {afraid} of God that day,

saying,

How shall I bring the ark of God [home] to me?

afraid <1CH21 -30> But David could not go before it to inquire of

God: for he was {afraid} because of the sword of the angel of the

LORD.

afraid <2CH20 -15> And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye

inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith

the

LORD unto you, Be not {afraid} nor dismayed by reason of this

great

multitude; for the battle [is] not yours, but God's.

afraid <2CH32 -7> Be strong and courageous, be not {afraid} nor

dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that

[is] with him: for [there be] more with us than with him:

afraid <NEH2 -2> Wherefore the king said unto me, Why [is] thy

countenance sad, seeing thou [art] not sick? this [is] nothing

[else] but sorrow of heart. Then I was very sore {afraid},

afraid <NEH4 -14> And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the

nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not

ye

{afraid} of them: remember the Lord, [which is] great and

terrible,

and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughte

rs, your wives, and your houses.

afraid <NEH6 -9> For they all made us {afraid}, saying, Their

hands

shall be weakened from the work, that it be not done. Now

therefore,

[O God], strengthen my hands.

afraid <NEH6 -13> Therefore [was] he hired, that I should be

{afraid}, and do so, and sin, and [that] they might have [matter]

for an evil report, that they might reproach me.

afraid <EST7 -6> And Esther said, The adversary and enemy [is]

this

wicked Haman. Then Haman was {afraid} before the king and the

queen.

afraid <JOB3 -25> For the thing which I greatly feared is come

upon

me, and that which I was {afraid} of is come unto me.

afraid <JOB5 -21> Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the

tongue:

neither shalt thou be {afraid} of destruction when it cometh.

afraid <JOB5 -22> At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh:

neither shalt thou be {afraid} of the beasts of the earth.

afraid <JOB6 -21> For now ye are nothing; ye see [my] casting

down,

and are {afraid}.

afraid <JOB9 -28> I am {afraid} of all my sorrows, I know that

thou

wilt not hold me innocent.

afraid <JOB11 -19> Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make

[thee] {afraid}; yea, many shall make suit unto thee.

afraid <JOB13 -11> Shall not his excellency make you {afraid}?

and

his dread fall upon you?

afraid <JOB13 -21> Withdraw thine hand far from me: and let not

thy

dread make me {afraid}.

afraid <JOB15 -24> Trouble and anguish shall make him {afraid};

they

shall prevail against him, as a king ready to the battle.

afraid <JOB18 -11> Terrors shall make him {afraid} on every side,

and shall drive him to his feet.

afraid <JOB19 -29> Be ye {afraid} of the sword: for wrath

[bringeth]

the punishments of the sword, that ye may know [there is] a

judgment.

afraid <JOB21 -6> Even when I remember I am {afraid}, and

trembling

taketh hold on my flesh.

afraid <JOB23 -15> Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when

I

consider, I am {afraid} of him.

afraid <JOB32 -6> And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite

answered

and said, I [am] young, and ye [are] very old; wherefore I was

{afraid}, and durst not show you mine opinion.

afraid <JOB33 -7> Behold, my terror shall not make thee {afraid},

neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.

afraid <JOB39 -20> Canst thou make him {afraid} as a grasshopper?

the glory of his nostrils [is] terrible.

afraid <JOB41 -25> When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are

{afraid}: by reason of breakings they purify themselves.

afraid <PSA3 -6> I will not be {afraid} of ten thousands of

people,

that have set [themselves] against me round about.

afraid <PSA18 -4> The sorrows of death compassed me, and the

floods

of ungodly men made me {afraid}.

afraid <PSA18 -45> The strangers shall fade away, and be {afraid}

out of their close places.

afraid <PSA27 -1> A Psalm] of David. The LORD [is] my light and

my

salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD [is] the strength of my

life;

of whom shall I be {afraid}?

afraid <PSA49 -16> Be not thou {afraid} when one is made rich,

when

the glory of his house is increased;

afraid <PSA56 -3> What time I am {afraid}, I will trust in thee.

afraid <PSA56 -11> In God have I put my trust: I will not be

{afraid} what man can do unto me.

afraid <PSA65 -8> They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are

{afraid} at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning

and

evening to rejoice.

afraid <PSA77 -16> The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw

thee;

they were {afraid}: the depths also were troubled.

afraid <PSA83 -15> So persecute them with thy tempest, and make

them

{afraid} with thy storm.

afraid <PSA91 -5> Thou shalt not be {afraid} for the terror by

night; [nor] for the arrow [that] flieth by day;

afraid <PSA112 -7> He shall not be {afraid} of evil tidings: his

heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

afraid <PSA112 -8> His heart [is] established, he shall not be

{afraid}, until he see [his desire] upon his enemies.

afraid <PSA119 -120> My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I

am

{afraid} of thy judgments.

afraid <PRO3 -24> When thou liest down, thou shalt not be

{afraid}:

yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.

afraid <PRO3 -25> Be not {afraid} of sudden fear, neither of the

desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.

afraid <PRO31 -21> She is not {afraid} of the snow for her

household: for all her household [are] clothed with scarlet.

afraid <ECC12 -5> Also [when] they shall be {afraid} of [that

which

is] high, and fears [shall be] in the way, and the almond tree

shall

flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall

fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mo

urners go about the streets:

afraid <ISA8 -12> Say ye not, A confederacy, to all [them to]

whom

this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear,

nor be {afraid}.

afraid <ISA10 -24> Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O

my

people that dwellest in Zion, be not {afraid} of the Assyrian: he

shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against

thee, after the manner of Egypt.

afraid <ISA10 -29> They are gone over the passage: they have

taken

up their lodging at Geba; Ramah is {afraid}; Gibeah of Saul is

fled.

afraid <ISA12 -2> Behold, God [is] my salvation; I will trust,

and

not be {afraid}: for the LORD JEHOVAH [is] my strength and [my]

song; he also is become my salvation.

afraid <ISA13 -8> And they shall be {afraid}: pangs and sorrows

shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that

travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces

[shall

be as] flames.

afraid <ISA17 -2> The cities of Aroer [are] forsaken: they shall

be

for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make [them]

{afraid}.

afraid <ISA19 -16> In that day shall Egypt be like unto women:

and

it shall be {afraid} and fear because of the shaking of the hand

of

the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it.

afraid <ISA19 -17> And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto

Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be {afraid} in

himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he

hath

determined against it.

afraid <ISA20 -5> And they shall be {afraid} and ashamed of

Ethiopia

their expectation, and of Egypt their glory.

afraid <ISA31 -4> For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as

the

lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of

shepherds is called forth against him, [he] will not be {afraid}

of

their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them:

so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion,

and

for the hill thereof.

afraid <ISA31 -9> And he shall pass over to his strong hold for

fear, and his princes shall be {afraid} of the ensign, saith the

LORD, whose fire [is] in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.

afraid <ISA33 -14> The sinners in Zion are {afraid}; fearfulness

hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the

devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting

burnings?

afraid <ISA37 -6> And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say

unto

your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not {afraid} of the words

that

thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria

have

blasphemed me.

afraid <ISA40 -9> O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up

into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings,

lift up thy voice with strength; lift [it] up, be not {afraid};

say

unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!

afraid <ISA41 -5> The isles saw [it], and feared; the ends of the

earth were {afraid}, drew near, and came.

afraid <ISA44 -8> Fear ye not, neither be {afraid}: have not I

told

thee from that time, and have declared [it]? ye [are] even my

witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, [there is] no God; I

know

not [any].

afraid <ISA51 -7> Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness,

the

people in whose heart [is] my law; fear ye not the reproach of

men,

neither be ye {afraid} of their revilings.

afraid <ISA51 -12> I, [even] I, [am] he that comforteth you: who

[art] thou, that thou shouldest be {afraid} of a man [that] shall

die, and of the son of man [which] shall be made [as] grass;

afraid <ISA57 -11> And of whom hast thou been {afraid} or feared,

that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid [it] to

thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou

fearest me

not?

afraid <JER1 -8> Be not {afraid} of their faces: for I [am] with

thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.

afraid <JER2 -12> Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be

horribly {afraid}, be ye very desolate, saith the LORD.

afraid <JER10 -5> They [are] upright as the palm tree, but speak

not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not

{afraid} of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also [is it]

in

them to do good.

afraid <JER26 -21> And when Jehoiakim the king, with all his

mighty

men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put

him to death: but when Urijah heard it, he was {afraid}, and

fled,

and went into Egypt;

afraid <JER30 -10> Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob,

saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will

save

thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity;

and

Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet,

and none shall make [him] {afraid}.

afraid <JER36 -16> Now it came to pass, when they had heard all

the

words, they were {afraid} both one and other, and said unto

Baruch,

We will surely tell the king of all these words.

afraid <JER36 -24> Yet they were not {afraid}, nor rent their

garments, [neither] the king, nor any of his servants that heard

all

these words.

afraid <JER38 -19> And Zedekiah the king said unto Jeremiah, I am

{afraid} of the Jews that are fallen to the Chaldeans, lest they

deliver me into their hand, and they mock me.

afraid <JER39 -17> But I will deliver thee in that day, saith the

LORD: and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of

whom

thou [art] {afraid}.

afraid <JER41 -18> Because of the Chaldeans: for they were

{afraid}

of them, because Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had slain Gedaliah

the

son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon made governor in the

land.

afraid <JER42 -11> Be not afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom

ye

are {afraid}; be not afraid of him, saith the LORD: for I [am]

with

you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand.

afraid <JER42 -11> Be not afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom

ye

are afraid; be not {afraid} of him, saith the LORD: for I [am]

with

you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand.

afraid <JER42 -11> Be not {afraid} of the king of Babylon, of

whom

ye are afraid; be not afraid of him, saith the LORD: for I [am]

with

you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand.

afraid <JER42 -16> Then it shall come to pass, [that] the sword,

which ye feared, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt,

and

the famine, whereof ye were {afraid}, shall follow close after

you

there in Egypt; and there ye shall die.

afraid <JER46 -27> But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be

not

dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off,

and

thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall

return,

and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make [h

im] {afraid}.

afraid <EZE2 -6> And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them,

neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns [be]

with

thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not {afraid} of

their

words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they [be]

a rebellious house.

afraid <EZE2 -6> And thou, son of man, be not {afraid} of them,

neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns [be]

with

thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their

words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they [be]

a rebellious house.

afraid <EZE2 -6> And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them,

neither be {afraid} of their words, though briers and thorns [be]

with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of

their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they [be]

a rebellious house.

afraid <EZE27 -35> All the inhabitants of the isles shall be

astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore {afraid}, they

shall be troubled in [their] countenance.

afraid <EZE30 -9> In that day shall messengers go forth from me

in

ships to make the careless Ethiopians {afraid}, and great pain

shall

come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh.

afraid <EZE32 -10> Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee,

and

their kings shall be horribly {afraid} for thee, when I shall

brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at [every]

moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall.

afraid <EZE34 -28> And they shall no more be a prey to the

heathen,

neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall

dwell safely, and none shall make [them] {afraid}.

afraid <EZE39 -26> After that they have borne their shame, and

all

their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when

they

dwelt safely in their land, and none made [them] {afraid}.

afraid <DAN4 -5> I saw a dream which made me {afraid}, and the

thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me.

afraid <DAN8 -17> So he came near where I stood: and when he

came, I

was {afraid}, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me,

Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end [shall be]

the

vision.

afraid <JOE2 -22> Be not {afraid}, ye beasts of the field: for

the

pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her

fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.

afraid <AMO3 -6> Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the

people not be {afraid}? shall there be evil in a city, and the

LORD

hath not done [it]?

afraid <JON1 -5> Then the mariners were {afraid}, and cried every

man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that [were] in the

ship

into the sea, to lighten [it] of them. But Jonah was gone down

into

the sides of the ship; and he lay, and was fast asleep

.

afraid <JON1 -10> Then were the men exceedingly {afraid}, and

said

unto him, Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled

from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them.

afraid <MIC4 -4> But they shall sit every man under his vine and

under his fig tree; and none shall make [them] {afraid}: for the

mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken [it].

afraid <MIC7 -17> They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they

shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they

shall be

{afraid} of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee.

afraid <NAH2 -11> Where [is] the dwelling of the lions, and the

feedingplace of the young lions, where the lion, [even] the old

lion, walked, [and] the lion's whelp, and none made [them]

{afraid}?

afraid <HAB2 -17> For the violence of Lebanon shall cover thee,

and

the spoil of beasts, [which] made them {afraid}, because of men's

blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all

that dwell therein.

afraid <HAB3 -2> O LORD, I have heard thy speech, [and] was

{afraid}: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in

the

midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.

afraid <ZEP3 -13> The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity,

nor

speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their

mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make

[them]

{afraid}.

afraid <MAL2 -5> My covenant was with him of life and peace; and

I

gave them to him [for] the fear wherewith he feared me, and was

{afraid} before my name.

afraid <MAT2 -22> But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in

Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was {afraid} to go

thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he

turned

aside into the parts of Galilee:

afraid <MAT14 -27> But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying,

 Be

of good cheer; it is I; be not {afraid}.

afraid <MAT14 -30> But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was

{afraid}; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

afraid <MAT17 -6> And when the disciples heard [it], they fell on

their face, and were sore {afraid}.

afraid <MAT17 -7> And Jesus came and touched them, and said,

Arise,

and be not {afraid}.

afraid <MAT25 -25> And I was {afraid}, and went and hid thy

talent

in the earth: lo, [there] thou hast [that is] thine.

afraid <MAT28 -10> Then said Jesus unto them, Be not {afraid}: go

tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they

see

me.

afraid <MAR5 -15> And they come to Jesus, and see him that was

possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and

clothed,

and in his right mind: and they were {afraid}.

afraid <MAR5 -36> As soon as Jesus heard the word that was

spoken,

he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not {afraid}, only

believe.

afraid <MAR6 -50> For they all saw him, and were troubled. And

immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good

cheer: it is I; be not {afraid}.

afraid <MAR9 -6> For he wist not what to say; for they were sore

{afraid}.

afraid <MAR9 -32> But they understood not that saying, and were

{afraid} to ask him.

afraid <MAR10 -32> And they were in the way going up to

Jerusalem;

and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed; and as they

followed, they were {afraid}. And he took again the twelve, and

began to tell them what things should happen unto him,

afraid <MAR16 -8> And they went out quickly, and fled from the

sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they

any

thing to any man]; for they were {afraid}.

afraid <LUK2 -9> And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them,

and

the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore

{afraid}.

afraid <LUK8 -25> And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And

they being {afraid} wondered, saying one to another, What manner

of

man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they

obey him.

afraid <LUK8 -35> Then they went out to see what was done; and

came

to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were

departed,

sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and

they were {afraid}.

afraid <LUK12 -4> And I say unto you my friends, Be not {afraid}

of

them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they

can

do.

afraid <LUK24 -5> And as they were {afraid}, and bowed down

their]

faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living

among the dead?

afraid <JOH6 -19> So when they had rowed about five and twenty or

thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing

nigh

unto the ship: and they were {afraid}.

afraid <JOH6 -20> But he saith unto them, It is I; be not

{afraid}.

afraid <JOH14 -27> Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto

you:

not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be

troubled, neither let it be {afraid}.

afraid <JOH19 -8> When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was

the more {afraid};

and believed not that he was a disciple.

thine

alms are come up for a memorial before God.

vision, Be not {afraid}, but speak, and hold not thy peace:

afraid <ACT22 -9> And they that were with me saw indeed the

and were {afraid}; but they heard not the voice of him that

spake to

me.

afraid <ACT22 -29> Then straightway they departed from him which

should have examined him: and the chief captain also was

{afraid},

after he knew that he was a Roman, and because he had bound him.

afraid <ROM13 -3> For rulers are not a terror to good works, but

to

the evil. Wilt thou then not be {afraid} of the power? do that

which

is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

afraid <ROM13 -4> For he is the minister of God to thee for good.

But if thou do that which is evil, be {afraid}; for he beareth

not

the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to

execute] wrath upon him that doeth evil.

afraid <GAL4 -11> I am {afraid} of you, lest I have bestowed upon

you labour in vain.

afraid <HEB11 -23> By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid

three

months of his parents, because they saw he was] a proper child;

and

they were not {afraid} of the king's commandment.

afraid <1PE3 -6> Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord:

whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not

{afraid}

with any amazement.

afraid <1PE3 -14> But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake,

happy are ye]: and be not {afraid} of their terror, neither be

troubled;

afraid <2PE2 -10> But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in

the

lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are

they],

selfwilled, they are not {afraid} to speak evil of dignities.
